Sophie was brilliant and built a great bond with Ludo. Her communication was always clear and thorough. She was so helpful and flexible when a cancelled flight delayed our return for mutiple days, knowing he was in such good hands made it much less stressful!

About: Hello! My name is Marie, and I cannot wait to meet your furry family member. I have been around animals my entire life and understand that pets aren't just animals, they are family. I treat every dog I walk with the exact same love, patience, and attention. My Experience: I have 15+ years of experience caring for my friends and family dogs and during my teenage years caring for my own dog. Over the years, I have looked after a Dachshund, Cuvac, Terrier, Samoyed and many other. What a Walk Looks Like With Me: Safety and happiness are my top priorities. During our walks, I always keep dogs on a secure leash, avoid crowded or unpredictable dog parks unless requested, and stay highly alert to our surroundings. I love taking plenty of photos, so you can expect fun updates and cute pictures during every single service! My Schedule & Availability: I have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks during early mornings, lunch breaks, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Because I live in Kingston upon Thames, close to many parks like Richmond Park, Canbury Gardens and Elm Road park, I can easily accommodate last-minute requests or recurring weekly schedules. I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your dogs! I have a very flexible schedule and am available for walks during early mornings, lunch breaks, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Because I live in Kingston upon Thames, close to Richmond Park, Canbury Gardens and Elm Road park, I can easily accommodate last-minute requests or recurring weekly schedules. I can do home visits at your home and I ensure all doors, gates, and windows are securely locked during visits. About: I am a calm, patient, and reliable dog sitter based in Kingston upon Thames, committed to providing safe, attentive, and personalised care. I always arrive on time and take the time to understand your dog’s unique personality—what they enjoy, what makes them nervous, and even which breeds they tend to like or avoid. During walks, your dog receives my full attention at all times. I adjust the pace to suit their needs—whether they prefer a slow, sniff‑filled walk, a steady stroll, or a gentle jog. My goal is to make each outing enjoyable, enriching, and stress‑free. I follow your dog’s routine closely and keep communication clear with regular updates and photos so you always feel reassured while you’re away. I am available to have a morning or evening schedule from Monday to Friday. Flexible on Sunday too! Let fix a time slot together. Cheers, I believe communication is crucial. Tell me about your house rules, and what’s best for your fur kid. My golden rule is to take it slow, build the trust with your pet.

Olena was amazing! She looked after our cat for 8 days whilst we were on holiday. He required some extra attention due to some medical issues including taking a tablet each day, which Olena gave with ease. She also sent us videos and pictures to reassure us that he was ok. Meant we could relax on holiday in the knowledge that he was being well looked after. I’d highly recommend Olena.

About: I have experienced many opportunities working with Animals from an animal hospital working towards treatment plans to support every animal get back on their paws, to more recently on a dairy farm along side my border collie who taught me a thing or two in return. I love animals and plan to continue working with them throughout my life. In Australia I was able to live and work there for 3 years through various pet sittings, and animal care, from seniors learning a new trick to potty training a 8 week old puppy I have loved every moment. I am a confident trainer able to teach both my dog and cat the same tricks using some healthy treats I make myself. I’ve recently returned home after travelling and working in Australia for 3 years I am catching up on some much needed time with my pets. I try to aim for 2 walks daily, plus enrichment tasks which leaves time for training in the evenings. Rest of the time we probably getting some cuddles in I have a fenced garden where my friendly dog and cat like to explore. My dog is very sociable and loves to make new friends. While my house is suitable for some indoor exercise, I live close by to many small and large fenced parks where I like to let my dog run around. I have experience with dogs with medical needs as well as working with anxious rescues. I can provide safety and love for all my animals

I knew Annicka would be a fab catsitter as I’d looked after her cats before and saw how happy they are! I wasn’t disappointed - she is extremely reliable and sent me some pictures and updates every day. I knew that Miya was getting lots of cuddles and I came home to a very happy and relaxed cat! Thanks again Annicka for taking such good care of her!

About: I have grown up with dogs since I was a kid - from German Sheppards to Golden Retrievers, Mastifs and Dachshunds. I am a huge dog lover and always making doggie friends everywhere I go! I have experience with anxious and nervous dogs, elderly dogs, administering medication, dog physio and hydrotherapy and have done dog nutrition consultations. I rescued my own dachshund cross Shaden in Slovakia when I was 17 and moved to England with him.He was my best friend and at the age of 16 passed away last year. He had a few special needs towards his senior years including daily medication, physio and hydrotherapy, a pram to get around due to his arthritis as well as a special home cooked diet due to his kidneys. I also have experience dog sitting anxious dogs as Shaden could get scared of loud noises and fireworks and I would often look after other rescues with anxiety. I also shared a house with a Mastif and 2 bulldogs for a number of years so have experience will all kinds of breeds and needs :). I absolutely adore dogs and cannot imagine my life without one! I am not quite ready to get my own dog just yet after Shaden but would love to have a buddy to take out and have some fun with while you are away! Please let me know and if your dogs are used to being in an office I can also take them in for longer stays and be flexible. I commute by train and it is about a 20min commute on the train and a 20min walk each side of the station. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays. I have just moved into my own house in Kingston recently so am home most weekends doing some gardening or exploring the local parks and area. *At the moment during the summer until September I am fully wfh :) * During Tues-Thurs I work in a dog friendly office at Google (we have loads of doggos come in!!) and I come home around 3pm every day so can do afternoon or evening dog sits. Alternatively, if your doggo is social and you are happy for them to be in a dog friendly office I am more than happy to take them in! I can be flexible during the week and work from home if requested during the weekdays too - I just need a bit of notice for this :). I have my own fenced garden and am close to Richmond and Bushy park but also have a lot of lovely walks around me. I live on the ground floor so it is easily accessible for small dogs as well as I had planned to be here with my elderly sausage dog. Dogs are my buddies and I absolutely adore them so they are allowed on any and all furniture including the bed and sofa for extra snuggles :).

About: Me and my partner Carlo have loved and looked after pets from a young age. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day and can easily follow your pet’s usual routine, including walks, playtime, and feeding schedules. Keeping pets comfortable and sticking to the routines they’re used to is really important to me. I love looking after both cats and dogs and providing a safe, calm space where they can relax while you’re away. I always aim to make pets feel at home and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection so their stay feels like a little holiday. I’ve had experience caring for both cats and dogs through having my own pets and looking after those of friends and family. I also cared for my senior cat for many years, so I’m very familiar with understanding cats’ individual personalities and needs. I’m calm, attentive, and always focused on making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after. I work from home and have flexible schedule that allows me to give regular walks and spend time with your pets throughout the day. I also live near good walking spots for dogs with plenty of space to run around I am happy to cuddle your pets, play with toys, give walks in the park near my home and provide any care necessary to the pet.

About: I am an experienced dog walker, and have been responsible for walking my heavy boxer George through varied terrains. I would often walk more than one dog, as I have cared for my neighbors dogs before, who are a bit smaller than my boxer. I was responsible for my dogs behavior training, medication management (including regular and important medications now my George is an older boy) and trick training. I’ve also cared for my cat Izzy since she was a kitten, ensuring her well being and understanding feline behavior. I have also volunteered at my hometown animal shelter, walking and feeding dog all of different sizes, aswell as dealing with dogs that aren’t trusty of people or trained due to being abandoned. Although I don’t live with my pets anymore, I still see them as they live with my parents. I am currently fully flexible, so I am able to look after your pets this summer regardless of your needs. I am willing to come to any location and adapt to your needs. From ensuring my cat and my dog stayed safe and in the house in my hometown, which was a mountainous where a pet can easily be lost, i can assure I am a trustworthy attentive person.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, growing up with both cats and dogs, so looking after pets has always come naturally to me. I now have a corgi of my own, so I’m very used to daily walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel happy and comfortable. What sets me apart is how much I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I love playing with both dogs and cats, but I’m also happy to just keep them company and help them feel relaxed while you’re away. I work from home, which means your pet will have company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I always try to treat every pet like my own and pay attention to their individual needs and personality. I also have experience giving medication if needed, so you can feel confident your pet is in safe hands. I work from home, so I’m around throughout the day to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and regular walks. I already have a routine with my own dog, so adding another pet feels very natural. I’m able to be flexible with walks, feeding times, and any specific needs your pet has. Whether it’s a quick check-in, longer walks, or full-day care, I can adjust my schedule to make sure your pet is well looked after and not left alone for long. About: i’ve been passionate about all animal kind since childhood. i grew up always out in nature and going to anywhere i could see animals. the highlight of my childhood was meeting my hero david attenborough! my best friend growing up was my jack russell terrier alfie. i often cared for friends and family members pets being from a large family who knew how much it meant to me to be around animals. i offer dogs lots of fun and support, i understand the individual and work to find what motivates them. i can adapt to most needs and love making dogs happy. a fun fact about me is i’m using money i make from this service to save towards my wedding - i love the idea that looking after my favourite animal can fund my special day! working from home throughout the week means that i am always local and can easily fit care throughout a day/week. myself and my partner love to go for long walks and get the most out of our beautiful local area. however, a walk is never complete without a canine companion! we’re lucky enough to live in between two royal parks (bushy and richmond) where we spend hours exploring. also always love a cosy weekend night in with a pup or cat to snuggle and spoil. i live in a large flat with cosy spaces to snuggle down, big windows to sit at and watch the world go by and plenty of space to play. myself and my partner both work from home and can have a pet sat in a room with either of us, or free range throughout the flat, whichever is their/your preference. i am always respectful of someone else’s home, i understand it’s not easy allowing a new person into your space and am keen to honour the trust given. your home is your castle and i will treat your pets like royalty!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
