“Rhiannon did a great job looking after Ziggy. Gave her lots of loving as well as her food and medication. Went above and beyond to make sure she was well looked after. Daily pics showed a well feed contented cat. Just what we hoped for. Thanks again. ”

“Sarah was really wonderful with caring for my two cats for a week that we were away. She was punctual, reliable and provided helpful updates with photos of the fluff babies (which is always important when being away from them!). I will definitely engage her again in the future, and I highly recommend Sarah! Thank you Sarah for giving us peace of mind that our cats are well taken care of while we were away!”

“Anna was great. I used her for a drop in visit for my puppy Willow. It was my first time using rover and she put me at ease. She came to meet Willow the day before and get a handover. On the day she kept in contact and sent photos and videos which was really reassuring. Willow seemed to have a great time. Anna clearly loves dogs and was professional and considerate. I’ll be using Anna again and would definitely recommend her.”

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Merton
We left our cats in the care of Claire for two weeks, and we could not be happier with the experience! It is always stressful leaving your pets for that long, but Claire made us feel completely at ease from start to finish. We received regular updates and wonderful photos, which completely reassured us while we were away. It was clear that Claire truly loves animals and treated our cats as if they were their own. We returned home to very relaxed, well-cared-for cats and a perfectly clean house. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter.

Kati looked after our senior tuxedo cat, paying him a daily visit. He is generally nervous of new people but took to Kati almost immediately. She knows how to look after a cat! She sent daily photos and videos and, compared to the cat sitter we used to use, she genuinely loves cats. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She went above and beyond, doing tasks that she didn’t need to do around the house. Kati is the best cat sitter around.

We have used Jane several times and she has been amazing! She spends a decent amount of time with our animals giving them lots of attention. We have never got any concerns and we get regular updates with pictures! We have booked again for a months time. Thank you again as always! X

Amy was kind and clearly genuinely loves cats. I received regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind while I was away. My cat was happy, relaxed, and well looked after when I returned. I would absolutely recommend Amy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring cat sitter!

Aliyah is helpful, attentive and communicative. She’s great with my cats, respects their boundaries and I know that they’ll be entertained and well looked after while she’s around. It’s a great comfort that we have someone so reliable to drop in or housesit while we’re away. Thanks Aliyah!!

Becky was fantastic. When Becky first came to my house to meet Willow, she took lots of notes and asked questions to make sure she knew how to care for Willow while I was away. Although Willow was very shy, Becky sent daily updates, photos and videos when possible. Willow was fed everyday and was given his daily treats. Bowls were washed and the litter was scooped and changed. Willow was very content when I returned and there were no signs of stress. I will definitely use Becky again.

Agne looked after our little boy cat for a week and he was so happy to have her visit him twice a day! We had a few medical issues with him, which she diligently looked after and cared for him whilst we were away. She is now our favourite catsitter in Colliers Wood! Thank you so much Agne, I don't know how we would've coped without you!
Imogen is an absolute delight to have as our cat sitter for our excitable Tuxedo cats! She looked after them both whilst we were away for 10 days, and we had two visits given Pickle is still young and needs regular feeding. Imogen kept us informed daily of the comings and goings, how they were getting on, and generally what mischief they were getting up to! Extra- curricular duties included removing a mouse gift which Imogen wasn't phased by - thank you for being brilliant with them both!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
