Safety, trust & environment
I make sure that your cat/s are happy and well cared for. I give them lots of attention and play with them to build up their trust and make sure their litter trays and bowls are always cleaned and refilled.Additionally, I will treat your home with respect and can use my initiative while you are away such as watering a plant that needs attention or putting out the bins on collection day for you. I've even taken a grocery delivery and unpacked it for one of my clients. 😊
Information Carol H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know any special needs that your cat may have and a little about its personality and behaviour with strangers eg hiding places, what they love or dislike. Are they indoor or outdoor cats? Shy or friendly? Love strokes or hate them?
A typical day
I have a selection of toys to keep your cat entertained. They love the little catnip mice I have attached to a string. I also have a little bag of treats which always helps to break the ice!

Carol's Reliable Cat sitting!
Cat care experience
Hi. My name is Carol and I am a retired teacher who loves cats. I have looked after cats and kittens from childhood and have an enhanced DBS, am trustworthy, reliable and well organised so will never let you down. I don't currently own a cat since one of my household is allergic to them so I am making up that big gap in my life by looking after those of others as you can see from my profile photo. I have loved cats since birth when my cat Tortie used to climb into my cot and pad up and down, rubbing her face against mine and purring. I have had lots of experience in looking after cats of all ages from newly born kittens to elderly felines which you can see if you would like to read on. My last cat Freddie was an Old Siamese, statuesque, handsome and affectionate. I looked after him from a kitten until he was twenty years old and we were so close! I also had Sugar who was a white British Shorthair. She had a lovely litter of kittens who we had to bottle feed night and day every two to three hours until they grew to be strong, healthy kittens. They even starred in a TV advert for cat litter! I have also had two other moggy cats - one was a rescue cat and with patience she became calm and began to trust people again. It's an honour to take care of these lovely animals and I love their intelligent, independent yet affectionate personalities!
Reviews

Lovely lady who really understands elderly cats. Carol communicated very well and my cat was very relaxed on my return. I will definitely book Carol again.
The cats loved having Carol look after them again and I felt reassured by her regular updates. It's great having someone I can trust to be there the full agreed time and clearly delight in being with them.

Carol did a great job looking after our two cats and keeping us up to date with how things were going. We would definitely book Carol again and have no hesitation recommending her for others.
Carol was an excellent cat sitter! Would highly recommend
