I truly appreciate the care and attention Richard gave. Highly recommend!”

About: I have volunteered with animal shelters and charities since the age of 14 I currently work for a separate pet sitting company local to my area but I am looking to branch out on my own I am an animal fanatic, owning 11 pets myself and always ensure that your pets are treated like my own, with plenty of tender loving care 💕 I am in full time education and have a part time job at a local football club. Otherwise I’m available before school, afterschool and on the weekends around the same times. Half terms and during exam season I am completely free I usually feed clients early in the morning around 7am ish and later at night around 6pm ish to fit within my schedule. This lets me ensure all animals receive the attention they deserve and it means that no animals are over looked. I take safety very seriously ensuring all homes and pets are left the way I found them. I aim to try and build bonds with the pets to help reduce stress and I like to meet the pets first so I am a semi- familiar face when the time comes to caring for them

About: I am an experienced dog walker, and have been responsible for walking my heavy boxer George through varied terrains. I would often walk more than one dog, as I have cared for my neighbors dogs before, who are a bit smaller than my boxer. I was responsible for my dogs behavior training, medication management (including regular and important medications now my George is an older boy) and trick training. I’ve also cared for my cat Izzy since she was a kitten, ensuring her well being and understanding feline behavior. I have also volunteered at my hometown animal shelter, walking and feeding dog all of different sizes, aswell as dealing with dogs that aren’t trusty of people or trained due to being abandoned. Although I don’t live with my pets anymore, I still see them as they live with my parents. I am currently fully flexible, so I am able to look after your pets this summer regardless of your needs. I am willing to come to any location and adapt to your needs. From ensuring my cat and my dog stayed safe and in the house in my hometown, which was a mountainous where a pet can easily be lost, i can assure I am a trustworthy attentive person.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always had a real passion for their welfare and care. I have two dogs of my own, both of whom I’ve trained and care for myself, so I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Alongside caring for my own dogs, I’ve looked after many cats and a variety of other animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, budgies, and more. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all kinds and always take the time to understand their individual personalities, routines, and needs. I genuinely believe every animal deserves to be treated with kindness, patience, and respect. As a vegetarian, ethical animal care is something I value deeply, and I always aim to provide the same love, attention, and high standard of care that I’d want for my own pets. Whether your pet loves playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship, or sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I recently started work from home which allows me to give your pet the attention and affection it deserves and needs. I can provide lots of outside time if needed or just company for nervous pets. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn about each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so they feel as relaxed and secure as possible while you’re away. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll treat your space with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, tidy, and secure. I’ll also make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection, while sticking closely to their normal routine. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I aim to give you complete peace of mind through reliable communication, regular updates, and lots of photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse that works night shifts at an emergency clinic. I became a Student Veterinary Nurse in 2017, qualified in 2020 and have been working in a veterinary practice for 10 years. I have plenty of experience handling and treating all kinds of pets in practice; including geriatric and young animals, healthy and pets requiring medical treatment. I regularly walk some dogs in the area and love using my free days off and days in between shifts walking and caring for other pets. As for personal experience I have always had dogs and cats growing up, and now have two indoor cats of my own. So I know how pets are considered family members and are a vital part of family life. I work night shifts so have lots of time during the day to care for pets. I work a pattern of 2 nights shifts on and 2 or 3 nights off. I already have a few dogs I regularly walk and I really enjoy being outside and getting fresh air on my days off. I always follow owner’s instructions as to how they would like me to leave their pets and their home carefully. Their pets safety is my priority.

Seffie looked after our cat Gus for 3 days. We would definitely book her again, communication was regular and she gave detailed report cards of how Gus had been with photos etc.. Seffie also cleaned up after Gus and left everything super tidy. Thank you so much, Seffie. X
Naomi was very polite. & Respectful of my home. She was always very punctual! As well as very efficient & organised. My cats are friendly, & came to Naomi. & Naomi looked after my 3 fur-babies very well. I would definitely recommend Naomi! & I would definitely hire her again to feed my 3 cats.

Lara was amazing! My cat is really shy and generally doesn't come close to people and within a couple of days she managed to get him to like her. Because we had just moved, I was a little nervous about him being left alone, but Lara's daily updates and pictures and sometimes videos made my holiday a lot better, I could relax about him, knowing he was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Lara for petsitting!

Fabulous experience with Margaret! She made the time to come over before I left for holiday to meet my cats and understand their needs. She sent me daily updates and pictures to reassure me that my babies were OK and I came back to two very happy and content kitties!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
