About: My family dog Ralph is aged 5, and I've been looking after him since he was just a puppy. My favourite little guy who I miss as he's in Scotland. Experienced with on lead and off lead walking and basic training. I'm a freelance creative working in VFX production and I am looking to fill my time away from the hectic world of film with relaxed dog walks and hangouts. I’m not offering care in my own home, but if visiting yours I can play in the house/fenced garden and depending on recall off lead/non-fenced play too.
About: When I was little, I begged and begged my mum to let me have a dog. Reluctant to take on this responsibility, she asked the neighbour if I could walk his dogs - an elderly collie and a sweet little Westie called Oska - once a week. I adored them like they were my own, and this soon led to more dog-walking and pet-sitting for other friends and family, from feeding, brushing and cuddling cats to making sure the rabbits got their exercise without escaping the (fairly bunny-proofed) garden! I am experienced with different types of pets with different families, ages and personalities, so you can be sure your furry baby is safe with me :) I work flexibly from home so will have plenty of opportunities to make sure your pet is happy and comfortable while you are away! As I’m able to stay with them for most of the day, we’ll have plenty of chances to play, and for dogs, I’m happy to go for nice long walks to make sure we both get our daily dose of exercise! :) I live in a calm suburban area with multiple large green areas nearby, which are great for walks! Considering many pets are sensitive to new people and environments, I always take the time to ensure they can happily get to know me and acclimatise to my home. I am also very adaptable and can follow specific requirements for pets whenever needed.
About: I love dogs and have been registered with sites such as Borrow My Doggy to begin with 8 years ago before turning professional. Over time I have got to know dogs with difficult behaviour traits and issues, such as being nervous or aggressive with other canines. My 6 years spent with a dog unused to socialising with other dogs and is now a joy, (now moved to Scotland) and has been one of the most rewarding results and a learning curve in training techniques. I also have 19 years experience with cats and was registered with Medivet in Twickenham for 7 years while I had two felines. I am a freelance writer by trade and actor, so able to make time to be both a companion and dog walker (often at short notice) who will invest at least 2 hours minimum walking your dog and choosing interesting safe places to go to. I have 5 regular clients in Twickenham, Richmond and St Margarets. I work freelance so able to be flexible and also available during most Bank holidays and able to fit a client's dog walking schedules to my daily routine. I always take note of a dog owner's rules and routines for the their dog and never give treats that are unauthorised by the owner.
