“This is the second time I’ve used Anya, and we came back to our dog super happy and well taken care of. She is very communicative and respectful, I don’t feel concern when I’m away. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals for most of my life, and caring for pets has always felt natural to me. Growing up, our family home was full of life with dogs, and that experience shaped how comfortable and attentive I am with animals of different personalities. We had two dogs in particular who left a lasting impression on me. My sister had a cocker spaniel who was affectionate and playful, and later during my university years I had a Weimaraner—full of energy and always ready for adventure. He and I quickly bonded over our shared love of morning runs, so I’m especially confident handling active, high-energy dogs who need both physical exercise and mental stimulation. More recently, our family welcomed a cockapoo who still lives with my sister, and I’ve remained closely involved in caring for him whenever I visit. Overall, I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that’s going for a long walk, keeping them company at home, or making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My setup works really well for pet care — I'm based at home the majority of the week, with just one day out that can flex depending on what's needed. That means I'm available for boarding almost any day, weekends included. Plenty of calm company, no rush, no stress. I live in a third floor flat, so no escape risks and a nice calm environment away from the chaos of the street. The building has a fenced garden which is great for a bit of fresh air, and if your pet needs a longer stretch, Richmond Park is just around the corner — hard to beat. No other pets in the flat, so your cat or dog gets the full run of the place and all of our attention. My 10 year old daughter absolutely loves animals, so they'll have a little devoted fan following them around too.
“Amelia was excellent during Winston’s first pop in visits. She put our worries at ease with timely updates of our fluffy prince. We know he is in safe hands with her :-)”

“Frangelica was wonderful with my cats. She always arrived on time and often early, which my cats were very happy about 😸 She provided adorable pictures and daily updates.”

“Sophie has been amazing with our cat Spock. He was in so much need of cuddles and attention and Sophie gave it to him. On top of that Spock was very well cared with his food, water and litter. We also had some issues with our flat during our holidays and Sophie has really showed empathy and dedication to help us and more important to help our cat. ”

“Very happy with Justine - she followed our instructions, and knew herself what was good or not so good for our dog. Gave us photos, and checked in and out on time. Took a chance to get to know Luca before the walk, so she wouldn’t be a stranger. Would definitely use her again.”

“Beatriz was excellent. She was so great with our cat Albert. Sent us loads of great photos and videos. Was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. We came back to a very happy cat. Highly recommend!”

“Melek was really friendly & totally understands cats! She took good care of Orlando & sent me daily videos so I could see Orlando was happy & relaxed. Melek also fed the wild birds in the garden for me too! Thankyou”

“What can I say… Carina was absolutely amazing! My boys adored her, and she sent reassuring updates so I was able to enjoy Christmas away. I came back to two very happy and relaxed chaps - thank you so much, I couldn’t recommend her more! 🌟”

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and my experience in pet care reflects that passion. During the holidays, I used to walk dogs, ensuring they got the exercise, attention, and care they needed while their owners were away. I also have my own cat, so I understand firsthand the responsibility and affection that pets require. My friends and family trust me as their first choice for cat sitting, knowing I provide a calm, loving environment for their pets. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure every pet in my care feels comfortable and happy. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide top-quality cat care whenever needed. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping your feline friend company, I can easily work around my uni timings to ensure they get the attention and care they deserve. With years of experience caring for cats—both my own and those of friends and family—you can trust that your pet is in safe, loving hands. Safety, Trust & Environment I provide a safe and loving environment for pets, whether in my home or the owner’s home. I ensure they are comfortable, well-cared-for, and happy. I prioritise cleanliness, follow any special instructions, and give pets the attention they deserve. Trust is key, and I always treat pets as if they were my own.
“Dom was amazing! I originally booked him for a few drop ins as we wanted to head out for the day. I however got food poisoning but he still came over to take ozzy for walks and keep him entertained. Genuinely don’t know what I would have done without his help! We will be using him regularly and grateful to have found him :)”

“Bizhen was fantastic and was able to help come over last minute. She was considerate and careful during the heat wave and highly trustworthy. I recommend her to anyone”

“It’s my first time having Cleide to look after my cat for last week. My cat is a very shy girl and she usually doesn’t come out to strangers. But it only took two visits then she already came out and tried to socialise with Cleide. It seems she already trusts Cleide😀 thank you so much Cleide!”

“Lifei was an absolute life saver as she helped take care of my kittens after I had to travel for work last minute! She was very professional and worked with me to help ensure ChiChi and Bulma were fed, stimulated and had a clean space! I will absolutely be in contact with her again when I need cat sitting! Thank you Lifei!!!”

Kate was an amazing pet sitter I would highly recommend her. She sent photos and updates after each visit, confirming the amount of food my cat was eating and her behaviour. My cat is 21 years old and on three different medications that she has to take twice a day. Knowing Kate was visiting twice a day allowed me to enjoy my time away knowing my cat was being well looked after. I came home to a happy, healthy cat thank you Kate.

Rachelle was super lovely, our lovely kitty was well looked after with lots of treats and brushes. We booked with Rochelle last minute after being let down by a friend and she was very accommodating. It was nice to come home to a clean litter tray and and a happy cat. 100% recommend, it was lovely to get daily videos and pictures :)

I cannot recommend Stuart highly enough. He has looked after my cat on several occasions and has always been reliable, professional, and genuinely caring. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Stuart understands cats and their individual personalities. He took the time to learn about my cat's routine, preferences, and any specific needs – which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away.

It was my first time using the app, and first time leaving the cats with someone new, but Habiba explained everything and made the whole experience stress free. She spent time with the cats on each visit, earning their trust after a few days. Would recommend Habiba, and already got her availability for future bookings.

Xiangyun was honestly the perfect cat sitter. When we first met she asked all the right questions and we could tell she was really an expert at what she does AND that she loves cats. Our cat was looked after really well, photos were sent daily to keep us reassured that all was well, and communication was always smooth and easy. We will be asking Xiangyun to cat sit for us again, definitely.

Hayleigh was fantastic, and sent daily updates. It was clear my cats trusted her and she seemed to really enjoy spending time with them. A cancelled flight led to some panic but Hayleigh had topped dry food and water to the max so they were fine for the delay. Ill definitely reach out next time we're away

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
