“Marco has been looking after our cat a couple of times now - he is a trusted person, punctual and reliable, who took great care of our cat, never failing to keep us posted every time he came home. I recommend him!”
“It was the first time using this service and I was a bit nervous having to leave my cats with someone they don’t know especially Chloe as she is really shy but Bilqis has been incredible with them and managed to get really close to them in just one sitting. I highly recommend her! Thank you again 😍”

“I can’t recommend Atena highly enough. She looked after my kitten, Nefertiti, while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind throughout. She took excellent care of her, making sure she was fed properly, her water was always fresh, and that she received plenty of playtime and stimulation. It was clear that Nefertiti wasn’t just being cared for she was being genuinely looked after and entertained. Atena also sent regular updates, photos, and messages, which really helped me relax knowing that Nefertiti was happy and doing well. One thing that particularly stood out was how content and settled Nefertiti was afterwards. When my mum came to look after her after Atena had left, she wasn’t overly demanding or restless, which showed that her social and play needs had been met. It’s obvious that Atena genuinely cares about animals and treats them as if they were her own. I would happily trust her with Nefertiti again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and attentive pet sitter.”

“It was our first experience with Rover and we were so happy with Erica and Louie. Guys were very nice and friendly, they were sharing lots of pictures and videos when visiting Tini so we were absolutely sure our cat is doing well. Highly recommend to all cat owners 😻 Thank you guys !!”

About: I've had dogs for most part of my life, it was the joy of my days having them and caring for them. Unfortunately my beloved Bella passed away, so now I enjoy petsitting for friend and pet owners. I've been doing that for the past 3 years, mostly overnight care for dogs and cats, where we go for long walks, play with toys, I take care of feeding and any other particularity you pet might have. I genuinely love them and we have a lot of fun! I'm currently having a sabbatical, so I have plenty of time to care for your beloved pet. We can go for morning and afternoon walks, play without stressing about time. Beforehand I always request a brief explanation on how the owner preferences and pets habits so it can be comfortable for them. Either at the pet's owner house or my house I make the environment safe and cozy for them.
About: Since a young age I have always loved being surrounded by animals. Over recent years, I have regularly looked after my friends and family members pets, whether it was for a day or a week, and give them lots of attention when they stay over. I work from home full time, which gives me flexibility with my schedule, and I keep my Rover calendar up to date with my availability. I currently live in a ground floor flat with direct access to a fenced off garden. Both adjacent neighbours do not own any animals. I can easily adapt the housing environment to suit your dogs needs.
About: I'm an animal lover through and through! I grew up surrounded by animals and rescues, but upon moving abroad I'm for the first time without one and miss them dearly. I've therefore started pet-sitting/ walking them and more recently got introduced to Rover. Can't wait to look after your little one 😊 I can be flexible with very early mornings and late evenings. I also keep my Rover calendar up to date and I am happy to discuss further! :) I have a fenced garden but still mind them at all times. I will also happily take your guidance on how to better tailor my care.

“Yasmin looked after my three-legged cat Skippy. She was so great in how she put Skippy at ease and played with her and took her outside for supervised garden time! She bought Skippy her favourite treats which was so lovely and thoughtful. I got updates and photos for each visit and everything looked more tidy than when I left! I’ll definitely be using her again!”

About: I have always lived with animals and currently am blessed with a 10yo black male and 12yo tuxedo female cat. I have over 10 years of experience cat and dog sitting, working with all age and size dogs, from gentler older Westies and Shih Tzu's, to a fiestier young Chow Chow. As for cats, I more regularly care for a wider range of client's and friend's little fur babies. My best availability is Wed-Fri after 4.30pm and weekends all day. I will also have some flexibility during holidays. Early morning check ins between 7-8am may also be available, depending on distance. Please specify any requirements you may have, including any favourite toys and/or treats your pet will enjoy. I will play with and groom them, and can check in on other elements of your home (if necessary and agreed).
“I was really nervous leaving my two cats for the first time but I had a wonderful experience. Great communication, lots of reassuring photos and two very happy/well fed and pampered cats. Thank you for caring so much and taking such great care of my girls. Would highly recommend for future potential clients. Chloe”

About: I regularly care for my mum’s 2 dogs, including a rescue, which requires more patience and understanding than usual. This has included feeding, walking, picking up poo, and giving medicine and other requirements on schedule. I have also dog sat for other clients for whole weekends. In addition, I have looked after cats, including experience house sitting with a cat for more than a week. As I have always grown up with a cat in the house, I recognise their behaviours easily and can tend to them as needed. I woke full time, but from home. I also work flexible hours, so can tend to your pets inclusive of their needs. I can be completely free anytime before 10am, between 12-2pm, and after 4pm. This means I can accommodate any pet routine, and pay them ample attention. I am respectful of other people’s homes, and ensure I follow the rules. If the pet has limitations on access in the house, I will ensure this is abided by. I never leave food unattended around pets. If the dog goes outside, I will observe until it comes back inside. When looking after a dog, I will ensure I am in its company. When looking after a cat, I will ensure constant check ins to ensure it’s comfortable.

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals (dogs, cats, birds of all ages), worked in veterinary clinics and completed my bachelor's in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Nottingham. I am currently working full-time (from 9am to 5pm) in Canary Wharf, but would love to take care of pets afterwards or on the weekends. I pay a lot of attention to what they need, whether it be food, walks, or cuddles! If they're quieter, I give them space. If they're more excited and full of energy, I play with them!
About: Hi! I'm Caitlin I’m 25 and my favourite way to spend time is outdoors, come rain or shine and training my 18month German shepherd called Kaia- who’s super friendly but can be quite anxious at times. So I have spent lots of time and energy into learning from others how to specifically train/help her with her anxiety around other dogs and separation from the pack. If this is a trait that your pet has then I can understand how hard it is to leave them with a stranger however I believe my experiences makes me the perfect sitter/walker for any type of dog even those who struggle with confidence. Saying that playtime and cuddles will always be my favourite part of the day! I have experience with walking lots of different breeds of dogs when doing favours for family and friends and have also experience of dog sitting for two lovely pups who’s favourite game was running after a laser pen! Even though I wasn't fortunate enough to grow up with pets at home (not from a lack of begging at every Christmas and birthday...) my favourite holidays were ones where I could visit family with pets that I could walk, train and pretend were my own, from a very young age I was building the foundations of the essential qualities needed to have a pet. I am a freelance assistant working in the creative industry as my background and passion is Photography, this leaves plenty of time in my week for caring for your pet as jobs for me don't come on a regular schedule. As I currently live at home overnight boarding isn't possible yet but pet sitting and walking is definitely a service I can provide. I'm very flexible with timings as long as your pet can be left for a minimum of 3 hours so I can engage with my other passion, health and fitness because just as important as it is to keep our pets healthy I need exercise daily too! I'm really open with my dates and times when I'm not working I have almost endless free time to dedicate to caring for your furry loved one! I have a German Shepard but she lives majority of the time with her other pet parent 5 minutes drive away so although your pet can have a friendly play mate its also avoidable if necessary. I can provide a crate if needed. My garden is fenced and I have multiple parks very close by as well as access to private land where being off lead is very safe. Kaia has had a few health dramas in her short life so have had practise in administrating oral meds, sometimes tablets that had to have been wrapped in chicken or cheese!
About: I used to volunteer at a dog shelter and so I’m used to taking care of all kinds of dogs. I understand the basic needs and requirements of dogs and I am able to take your dog for multiple walks during the day. I am very flexible with my time and will take care of your dog like it’s my own! I can be accommodating to special needs that your dog may have. I can take care of young dogs as well as old dogs and give them the right exercise that they need at their age. Please get into contact if you’re interested and I’m sure we can work out something that would best suit you and your dog’s needs. I look forward to getting to know you and your dog! We will usually go out for a walk in the morning, afternoon and once in the evening before bedtime. My dog will usually eat twice a day, but I have space to separate so can also accommodate your dog’s feeding schedule. There is a corridor outside the main door so there is no chance of your dog escaping into anything dangerous even if it manages to slip out of the door.

A repeat booking! ZSuzsanna is an incredibly lovely, very trustworthy sitter. She is very communicative and flexible. I feel so relaxed knowing I can book her whenever I need and she well take amazing care of my cat Loki. Loki is so happy to see her and is so excited when playing. I really recommend booking her!

I’d give six stars if I could! Uma was fantastic — flexible, communicative, sweet, and clearly very comfortable with cats and caring for them. She took everything we told her onboard and then kept our little fluffball very happy for our long weekend away. We’d book her again in a heartbeat.

I would highly recommend Lifei. She is very reliable. Lifei took excellent care of my cat Marvin, and did everything I asked and more. She also spent quality playtime with Marvin which I really appreciated as my cat is quite needy and loves attention. I would definitely ask Lifei to look after him again in the future.

Angeles took wonderful care of my cat, Luna. She is incredibly kind, caring, and attentive. She kept me updated with photos and messages, paying close attention to every detail, always making sure Luna was safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m truly grateful for the excellent care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely loves and understands cats.

Tsvetelina is absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Before the booking even started, she took the time to come and meet my cat, which made both me and my cat feel much more comfortable. It was clear from the beginning that she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. During every visit, she completed everything I asked, including changing the water, refilling the food, cleaning the litter box, and making sure everything was tidy. She also paid attention to the little details, like checking if the weather was too hot and making sure my cat was comfortable. I especially appreciated the detailed updates after every visit. She always sent videos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She also spent time playing with my cat and was incredibly patient and friendly, rather than just stopping by to complete the tasks. I truly felt that my cat was in the best hands. I highly recommend Tsvetelina to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring pet sitter. I will definitely book with her again in the future!

We booked with Elettra so last minute due to some changes in original friend sitting plans and she was so quick to respond and accept the booking etc She was on time each time and provided lots of communication and photos which we so desperately needed given the last minute nature and first time leaving our kitten! I could tell from the photos that our son loved her and was happy during her visit. Totally put our minds at ease. Highly, highly recommend !!!!!!!!!!!!

Jack was really kind and friendly. He followed the instructions exactly as we told them and he even sent us plenty of videos and pictures which brought us a lot of joy whilst away from Lilly. Lilly was a bit shy at first but she quickly warmed up to Jack quickly forgetting about us. This goes to show that Jack gave her loads of attention and play time during the visits which I personally find to be really important. He was also kind enough to water our plants and left the house very clean. We will definitely be booking with Jack again! Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
