“Bilqis was great with our little cat, who's quite nervous. She put so much time and effort into getting friendly with her. We were very grateful for her updates whilst away too as it's the longest we've left her. I'd book Bilqis again without question, she made us feel very comfortable and we came back to a very happy cat. Thank you! ”

About: I’ve worked with Bark Brigade, my partner’s dog walking business, for 3+ years, handling both group walks and one-to-one dog care. I have experience with dogs of all sizes including reactive dogs. I adopted my own dog Cooper from an abuse situation last year. I am canine first aid certified I am currently fully flexible and am around all day in the week. I help my boyfriend run his successful dog walking company Bark Brigade in Ealing and am looking for some of my own clients on here to add into the mix! Depending on your dogs needs and preferences they can have the opportunity to join in on large long pack walks, or have quieter relaxed days and walks. I live in a flat with a surrounding garden but also can use my boyfriend’s house with a secure garden. I have my own friendly cockapoo called Cooper who I rescued last year! Most of my daycare will be active- as in we will be out of the house most of the days on adventures but am also able to go home for a quieter time if needed. I live right by 2 large parks with lots of opportunities for exploration.

“Marta was lovely to have looking after my cat, she bonded really well with him very quickly, kept me fully informed while I was away, played with him and send me plenty of photos upon request! Overall handled him great and gave me peace of mind while I was away. Very happy to book her again when I need to go away, and would highly recommend!”

“Atena was amazing with Miko! We had such a great experience with her. She is reliable, caring, and clearly wonderful with cats. We felt completely at ease knowing our cat was in such good hands and we really appreciated the regular photo and video updates. Miko also loved their time together. Thank you ☺️”

About: Hi, I’m Eli. I’m a 29-year-old Veterinary Student studying at the Royal Veterinary College of London. Having grown up with a mother as a vet, I have always been surrounded by animals and love all species!! Big and small!! Living at uni and away from my pets at home, I would love to look after your dogs and give them the love and affection they deserve. As a current vet student, I am happy and capable to administer medications and remedies and am happy to discuss any specific requirement according to your pet’s needs. We never want anything to go wrong, but rest assured if anything happens, I have my mam on speed dial who has been a qualified vet for over 35 years. I have also worked at kennels in Wales for over 10 years (happy to provide references on request) and have looked after a wide range of breeds from wire-haired Dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I have experience in both brushing and bathing so if you would like to come back to them well-brushed and extra fluffy after their sleepover then just let me know. Although if your pet is especially long-haired, matted, or competes at shows - best leave that to the experts at the groomers haha! Feel free to message me with any questions or qualms and hopefully, we can come to an arrangement! Can’t wait to meet you and your lovely furry friends! As I am a student, I have a really flexible schedule so can easily study from your house and be around your pets as much as needed. Your pets will always be a priority. Please let me know of any special conditions or requirements your pet is used to. Whether they are allowed outside or strictly are indoor only. I would keep the windows closed and secure. Ensuring doors and escape routes are all closed and monitored.
About: I’ve had dogs throughout my life; I potty trained them and spent countless hours teaching them tricks and being their best friend. I am a hardworking individual and have lots of job flexibility so giving attention to your furry family member won’t be an issue. I also volunteer on the weekends with a local dog shelter. Please let me know of anything specific your dog enjoys or dislikes. Currently working remote but can take many breaks throughout the day. I love going on walks and having a balance of work and life. Dogs never feel under loved when they're with me. I live in an extremely dog friendly apartment and do not own any current pets. I have dog toys, potty bags, and ample room for a dog to play and sleep.
About: I am a South African working full- time in London and due to being away from home (and all my furry family) I am looking to my spend time, love and attention with animals. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes, cats and horses. I have always been passionate about animals mostly due to my family’s influence and their love for rescuing animas. I grew up with a rescue cross German Shepherd, a toy-pom terrier, and an English bulldog. And of course there were always at least two cats in the house. I have walked and stayed overnight to look after friends’ dogs including Bulldogs, Labradors and Jack Russell’s but I am comfortable with all dog sizes. I have years of experience giving oral medication to dogs for arthritis, as well as delivering eye drops. I would love to take care of your pet and love it as if it were my own! I can offer company, love and attention that will put your mind at ease and allow you to have a productive day without the concern of your little loved ones. I would take care of your pet with the upmost responsibility with their safety and security as my priority concern. And of course give them all the attention they need! I mostly work from home so caring for your pet on weekdays would be best or on weekends if they are comfortable on public transport as I am generally out and about then. I would make your pet feel as comfortable as possible and be with them throughout the day, making sure they don’t feel alone and have everything they need.

Cat owners share their Rover experiences - Ealing
Samita is such a wonderful cat sitter. She really cares and understands about cats and their needs. She followed all our instructions and our little fur baby was very happy when we returned from our break. Everything was clean and tidy and we had fantastic updates while we were away. We will definitely be booking Samita again!!

Atena was amazing with Miko! We had such a great experience with her. She is reliable, caring, and clearly wonderful with cats. We felt completely at ease knowing our cat was in such good hands and we really appreciated the regular photo and video updates. Miko also loved their time together. Thank you ☺️

Laura is hands down the best cat sitter I’ve ever had for Juno! She went to great lengths to keep Juno engaged, happy, and active with plenty of playtime during her visits. Laura was also highly responsive and kept me completely at ease by sending picture updates every single time she dropped by. It is so comforting to find someone who genuinely loves and connects with animals. I highly recommend Laura and will definitely be booking her again!

Thank you, Samanta for looking after Tony. She gave me daily updates and photos on how he’s doing and I was amaze that she got a scared cat to come out and play. I’m grateful for her patience and time looking after our Tony. Thank you! Will book again in the future xx

Nenah was great. She looked after our cat for 10 days, sending lots of photos and updates. It’s so reassuring to know he’s in good hands while we’re away and we couldn’t thank her enough. Her communication was good, she clearly loved getting to know Gus and was incredibly reliable. We’ll definitely book again!

I can not praise Finly highly enough! Our little pusscat has some health issues which make us worry about being away. Finly is not only unbelievably kind, caring and thoughtful, but also really reassuring with her comprehensive reports, photos and videos at every single visit (we have two per day). She plays a massive part in us enjoying holidays!
It was our first time leaving our cat for more than a few days, so we were quite worried. However, Sam and his partner took great care of her, and we could tell from the photos that our cat was very happy! Sam was extremely responsive and reliable. Highly recommended! Thank you ☺️

Amit is a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly cat Pippin. This is the second time we have used Amit and once again we have come back to an extremely happy cat ! Pippin is blind and on medication and Amit absolutely took care of her needs and went above and beyond yet again. Amit's daily updates and photos were much appreciated and gave us complete assurance for her well-being. We can definately recommend Amit to anyone looking for a caring, professional cat-sitter and we will definately be using Amit again. Thanks Amit !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
