“I can't thank Bethan enough for the care she gave my puppy. She was kind, attentive, reassuring and incredibly thoughtful_ keeping me updated throughout the day and leaving my place spotless (I know my little one still has loads of accidents). I came back to the happiest, most settled puppy, which speaks volumes about the bond she built with him. Truly exceptional care!. Thank you Beth”

“She truly is amazing. This is our second time with Atena, there’s something deeply reassuring about leaving your pet with someone who genuinely understands animals and treats them like family. She is incredible! Thank you so much Atena. ❤️”

About: I've had pets all my life and been pet sitting "professionally" since moving to London 5 years ago. I have been house sitting and caring for a variety of neighbours pets and have experience with all ranges of pet needs. Regular walks, vet visits, administering medication, washing etc. I have also dealt with elderly, diabetic and asthmatic pets and have experience administering insulin injections, asthma pumps and oral medication. I truly love this extra hobby and would be a wonderful carer while you are away. Please contact me if youd like to know more or book me for your next vacation.
“Bilqis did a great job house sitting, looking after our cat Laksa. Everything went smoothly, kept us updated and gave us peace of mind our cat was ok. Will be using Bilqis again in the future!”

“Thank you so much, Rudy had the best time on his walks and seemed to be so comfortable in Yasmin’s care! Rudy was able to socialise with other dogs which he wouldn’t have otherwise been able to do, boosting his confidence, he can’t wait for his next walk!! Thanks again!”

“Isabel was wonderful with Chaves! She took great care of him, kept him company, and he was completely at ease when we arrived back.☺️ We’d be more than happy to have her looking after Chaves anytime.🐶”

“Etienne was absolutely amazing. Super attentive with Duke, regular updates and lots of photos! Duke is a puppy so can be a little rascal at times yet Etienne helped with all of Duke’s needs and training. Duke absolutely loves her!!!”

“Kiera was brilliant with Riley. I contacted her at short notice and luckily for me she was available. She arrived on time and they spent over 7 hrs. together. Riley was very happy to spend time with Kiera and I would be delighted if she agreed to come and look after him again.”

About: I regularly care for my mum’s 2 dogs, including a rescue, which requires more patience and understanding than usual. This has included feeding, walking, picking up poo, and giving medicine and other requirements like entasis on schedule. In addition, I have looked after cats, including experience house sitting with a cat for more than a week. As I have always grown up with a cat in the house, I recognise their behaviours easily and can tend to them as needed. I woke full time, but from home. I also work flexible hours, so can tend to your pets inclusive of their needs. I can be completely free anytime before 10am, between 12-2pm, and after 4pm. This means I can accommodate any pet routine, and pay them ample attention. I am respectful of other people’s homes, and ensure I follow the rules. If the pet has limitations on access in the house, I will ensure this is abided by. I never leave food unattended around pets. If the dog goes outside, I will observe until it comes back inside. When looking after a dog, I will ensure I am in its company. When looking after a cat, I will ensure constant check ins to ensure it’s comfortable.
“Gayle looked after our dog Danny over a weekend and was amazing. She took Danny on a long walk and shared updates with us throughout her stay. Danny seemed super happy and enjoyed his time with her. We look forward to having Gayle over again soon! 😊”

“Dom is a lovely guy who instantly made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my home and two pups in his care. He has a natural way with dogs, and it was clear my pups were happy, relaxed, and well looked after. I highly recommend Dom to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter and I’m definitely looking forward to using him again in the future. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve lived in Ealing all my life. I have my own cat and have had cats, rabbits and guinea pigs since I was a child. I’m a huge dog lover and would often look after my friend’s Shar Pei overnight before they sadly moved to the US. Although I have a cat I have a separate annex so can keep separate if need be. Recent DBS check. Looking forward to meeting your mutt or moggie 😊 I’m available all week for boarding, house sitting and happy to do multiple visits per day to feed/change litter trays/play/for walks. I have a car so can easily travel to you to do multiple feeds or walks per day. I offer boarding and also happy to do the odd night/s staying at your home.
About: I was born into a family that raised dogs, so I’ve had the privilege of growing up with pets by my side. From a young age, I learned how to care for animals, understand their needs, and develop a deep connection with them. This experience has shaped my passion for animal welfare and given me valuable hands-on knowledge in pet care and training. Whether it’s dogs, cats, or other pets, I always strive to create a positive and loving environment for them. After graduating from university, I moved to London, and I am currently looking for a job. Therefore, I have plenty of time to take care of pets! When caring for pets, I focus on creating a safe, trusting, and comfortable environment that allows the pets to feel at ease. For safety, I take simple yet thoughtful steps to ensure that the space is free of anything that could potentially harm them, such as keeping small objects out of reach and making sure they have safe places to rest and play. Building trust is equally important. I take the time to get to know each pet, understanding their individual personalities, preferences, and routines. By being gentle and consistent, I help them feel secure and confident in my care. Open communication with the owner is essential to ensure I meet both the pet’s and owner’s needs. I always aim to provide a comfortable environment where pets feel relaxed and happy. Whether it’s in my home or theirs, I strive to maintain a calm atmosphere, stick to familiar routines, and offer lots of affection, making sure their experience is positive and stress-free.
About: I grew up around family dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and a few cats too, so I feel very at home with pets and have been missing being around them since moving to London in September. My own family dog Archie was super energetic and so I'm comfortable walking and caring for more active, excitable pups, but I've looked after older and smaller dogs for family members and friends too. Archie required extra care towards the end of his life, so I'm also comfortable administering some medication and providing physical support where needed. I work with children too and am ultimately a caring and sensitive person who would treat your pet(s) as well as if they were my own! I'm based in Chiswick and working a part-time service job, so I have lots of availability for petsitting and am keen to enjoy all this green space in West London especially as the weather warms up this spring. I'm offering dog walking, petsitting (feeding, light medical care, playtime, cuddles), and occasional overnight stays. Hoping to take on a few regular local clients and open to discussing rates and schedule to find something that works for both of us! I'm only able to offer pet care at owners' homes at the moment. I'd of course prioritise your pet's wellness and safety both indoors and outdoors, and I'm a neat and tidy person who would be very respectful of your preferences around pet safety and cleanliness.

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! Since I have just I returned from travelling South America, I can offer your pets plenty of attention! I enjoy going for long and short walks, so your pet can get all the exercise its needs. I’ve grown up with cats and have cared for family dogs my whole life, so rest assured I will provide safe and comfortable care while you are away. I’m generally available most of the day between Monday and Friday for drop-ins, long/short walks and boarding which makes me perfectly suited to look after pets with varied daily needs. I have a fenced garden away from the street, lovely parks nearby for walks! I’m more than happy to send photos and updates if needed throughout the day.
“Hannah is absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for someone to care for your dog, you can be confident that she will treat them as if they were her own. I was a little anxious about leaving my strong, energetic dog for the first time while I was away, but I had nothing to worry about. Loki adored Hannah and was clearly cared for with so much love and attention. Hannah kept me updated throughout my trip with regular communication, and I returned to find my home in immaculate condition. I’ll definitely be asking Hannah to look after Loki again the next time I’m away!”

On Saturday we left our lovely dog Poppy for the first time with delightful Leilah. From the moment I met her I knew Poppy would be in good hands. Very confident , kind and obviously loves animals as much as we do. Kept in touch whilst we were away, with updates how Poppy was. We will definitely be using Leilah again. 100 % recommend would give her 10 stars if I could . 🙏

Yasmin is a brilliant sitter — knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely enthusiastic with both pets. Loved the pre‑visit to run through everything. Got loads of walk updates and photos while away, and the house was spotless when I returned. Couldn’t ask for more.

Melissa is absolutely lovely and the best cat sitter to my two Ragdolls. She took amazing care of them and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. During the heatwave, she stayed with them all day to make sure they were okay, which I appreciated so much. She was reliable, caring, thoughtful, and kept me updated throughout. My cats were clearly very well looked after and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!

Ingryd is absolutely amazing. We would recommend her to anyone as she takes wonderful care of not only our lovely kitten Socks but also our home! She was fabulous with Socks who already misses her a lot. We will definitely be booking her again as we have complete trust in her!!

We love Ben and Jack!! And our doggy Hugo does too! Hugo was extremely happy to see Ben again. He also cleaned all his sheets and tidied our house open exit. Sending daily updates and keeping us up to date was really nice and kept us feeling relaxed on our travels! We will be issuing them again for our July holiday… thank you so much for all your help

Maria is such a lovely, kind and caring person. She kept in touch and sent pictures of both our pets who seemed very happy and content in her company. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned too. We'd happily recommend Maria to house sit and would gladly have her sit for us again. Thank you Maria!

Olivia was absolutely fantastic with our Frenchie, Jack. From our very first conversation, she asked thoughtful questions that showed she genuinely cared about understanding his routine and needs. Throughout the weekend stay, she sent small updates with regular photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Olivia is kind, reliable, and truly loves dogs. Jack was happy, well cared for, and comfortable in her care, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily book with Olivia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.

Kendal House sat for us for a full week. It was very reassuring to have someone in the house looking after our dog and cat and getting regular feedback and photos of how relaxed they all were. Kendal is great with the animals and carried out all requests we left while away. Will definitely book again. Brilliant

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Ealing walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ealing choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
