“Bethan was absolutely amazing with our young lurcher puppy. She was incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it was clear our pup was in great hands the whole time. She kept us updated and gave us complete peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and lovely sitter.”

“Atena was an exceptional cat sitter, we were genuinely blown away. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that were both reassuring and a joy to receive. It was clear the cats absolutely adored her, which meant a lot to us. We’d happily book her again if she’s available. She also left the flat spotless, which we really appreciated.”

“Bilqis did a great job house sitting, looking after our cat Laksa. Everything went smoothly, kept us updated and gave us peace of mind our cat was ok. Will be using Bilqis again in the future!”

“Dom helped us out at last minute for four days, collecting him overnight from my elderly parents and walking our dog to our house where Dom kept him company during the day before walking him back late afternoon when the decorator had left my parents house. An excellent dog sitter and walker. Punctual (which was important to my parents) plus his calm nature suited our extremely anxious dog.”

“Eloise was absolutely lovely! Firstly she came to my flat the day before she was meant to be sitting Miso, to meet her and see how things worked here. Then she took her for two walks, staying aware of the heat which I really appreciated. Then sending me plenty of pictures during the day and as she was leaving Miso sat next to her not wanting her to leave 🤣😊 would absolutely recommend Eloise.”

“Kendall was amazing with Toffee. She was always quick to reply and even made time to meet us briefly before the booking despite her busy schedule. During the two nights she looked after him, she sent regular updates and was genuinely lovely throughout. Toffee loved her, and we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Would happily book with Kendall again.”

“Gayle was excellent with our needy cockerpoo Bertie over a long weekend while we were at our son’s wedding. We had complete peace of mind as she understood Bertie’s needs, was careful round the flat, kept us informed with occasional photos and texts and is a lovely person. We don’t hesitate in recommending Gayle.”

“Kiera was brilliant with Riley. I contacted her at short notice and luckily for me she was available. She arrived on time and they spent over 7 hrs. together. Riley was very happy to spend time with Kiera and I would be delighted if she agreed to come and look after him again.”

“I highly reccomend Maria. Chauncey was well cared for, through this heat! I recieved pics along the way! What a happy dog I returned to. Maria is very personable and I came back to a flat the way I left it! I will rebook Maria for all of my trips!”

“Roxy was really great looking after our little one and our home while we were away. We really appreciated the daily updates and videos which reassured us that she was doing okay. Our home was kept really clean and tidy, which was great. I’m so glad we’ve connected with Roxy (and Agnes) and look forward to booking with them again. Thank you so much.”

“Kylie was really great with Miso. She has lots of experience with frenchies, so I fully trusted her to look after my little girl. I got plenty of updates during the day and will absolutely be asking Kylie to look after Miso again 😊”

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! Since I have just I returned from travelling South America, I can offer your pets plenty of attention! I enjoy going for long and short walks, so your pet can get all the exercise its needs. I’ve grown up with cats and have cared for family dogs my whole life, so rest assured I will provide safe and comfortable care while you are away. I’m generally available most of the day between Monday and Friday for drop-ins, long/short walks and boarding which makes me perfectly suited to look after pets with varied daily needs. I have a fenced garden away from the street, lovely parks nearby for walks! I’m more than happy to send photos and updates if needed throughout the day.

About: I’m based near Elthorne Park and have lived in Ealing all my life. I have my own cat and have had cats, rabbits and guinea pigs since I was a child. I’m a huge dog lover and would often look after my friend’s Shar Pei overnight before they sadly moved to the US. Although I have a cat I have a separate annex so can keep separate if need be. Recent DBS and insurance. Looking forward to meeting your mutt or moggie 😊 I’m available all week for boarding, house sitting and happy to do multiple visits per day to feed/change litter trays/play/for walks. I have a car so can easily travel to you to do multiple feeds or walks per day. I offer boarding and also happy to do the odd night/s staying at your home.
“Aisha helped watch our dog over a long weekend and she was great. She gave us constant updates and was overall really helpful. Would definitely use her again and would encourage anyone else in the West London area to use her!”

“It was great to meet Isabel. She did a great job of looking after our dog, cat, a few hens and a ton of plants while we were away. Very friendly and good communication. We came home to a tidy house and happy animals. Highly recommended 😊”

About: I have a bubbly Labrador, Oscar, which makes me well equipped in dealing with situations that may arise both inside and outside of the house. I adore a walk in the park and playing new games to stimulate your dogs mind, leaving them ready for a well-deserved nap. I've dog walked an array of dogs and love finding a new furry friend. I am a year out of secondary school, living at home and working on a zero-hour contract. Therefore, my timing is very flexible. If I'm given more notice, I can avoid booking hospitality shifts in the interest of looking after your dog! For home stays, I have a fenced off, large garden for your dog to play in. I have my own dog therefore, a meeting before hand would be preferable. However, my dog is well-natured and plays well in the park so ideally there would be no issues! Furthermore, the dogs can stay in separate rooms overnight if requested.

Chloe Jelena was incredible with my pup. It was our first time using a house sitter instead of boarding, so my pup had to adapt to a new person in her space. Chloe was so patient, kind, and they quickly became buddies. Will book again and would highly recommend

We are so thankful for Yasmin! Our dog loves her and we love the updates of all their adventures when we are away. Yasmin goes above and beyond for both our dog and very mischievous cat. We know they are in safe hands and we are able to go away without any worries or concerns, Yasmin can handle anything that happens!

Olivia is wonderful, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly. Jackson is always so happy in her care, and we have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in the great hands. The regular photos and updates are so reassuring and make being away from him so much easier. On top of being an incredible dog sitter, Olivia is also the perfect house guest. She leaves everything spotless; it’s almost as if she was never there! We always come home to a happy pup and a beautifully cared-for home. Thank you, Olivia, for taking such amazing care of Jackson. We feel incredibly lucky to have found you.

Hannah was incredible with our lady marmalade. Very attentive and loving towards her. She sent lots of photos which we loved. Marmalade was very happy and content when we got home. Hannah was very respectful of our home and marmalade’s needs. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Would book her again in a heartbeat …. Thanks Hannah.

We were really happy with the care our pup received while we were away. Carlotta kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was clear he was well looked after and as comfortable as he could be. Carlotta was reliable, easy to communicate with, and we'd happily book her again. We'd definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy house/dog sitter.

Eloise was absolutely lovely! Firstly she came to my flat the day before she was meant to be sitting Miso, to meet her and see how things worked here. Then she took her for two walks, staying aware of the heat which I really appreciated. Then sending me plenty of pictures during the day and as she was leaving Miso sat next to her not wanting her to leave 🤣😊 would absolutely recommend Eloise.

Gail was wonderful with Stewie. She looked after him for six nights and kept us updated throughout with messages and lovely photos of what he was getting up to. Stewie was very comfortable with Gail and clearly adored her, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. We would highly recommend Gail to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.
Dom is an excellent dog sitter - he came to meet Lola a few weeks before the sit and she took to him immediately. We knew she was in safe hands and communication was great. We had daily updates and photos and we returned to a very chilled dog and the house was immaculate. We’re already trying to find future dates for Dom to return. Highly recommend.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ealing choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
