“Atena came to look after Frida for the second time and it was once again a wonderful experience. She is so warm and caring with her — they spent the evening playing and cuddling, and she kept me updated throughout with photos and videos, which is always so reassuring. Frida absolutely adores her. We will definitely be calling her again! 🐾”

“Thank you so much, Rudy had the best time on his walks and seemed to be so comfortable in Yasmin’s care! Rudy was able to socialise with other dogs which he wouldn’t have otherwise been able to do, boosting his confidence, he can’t wait for his next walk!! Thanks again!”

“Ryan “RT” stayed for 2 nights in our house and looked after our 2 cats, Eric and Hattie. He handled complexities in feeding and medications with ease, and stayed in touch/sent photos via Whatssapp. Both we, and the cats warmed to him immediately and we hope he can cat sit for us again in the future 😊.”

About: I regularly care for my mum’s 2 dogs, including a rescue, which requires more patience and understanding than usual. This has included feeding, walking, picking up poo, and giving medicine and other requirements like entasis on schedule. In addition, I have looked after cats, including experience house sitting with a cat for more than a week. As I have always grown up with a cat in the house, I recognise their behaviours easily and can tend to them as needed. I woke full time, but from home. I also work flexible hours, so can tend to your pets inclusive of their needs. I can be completely free anytime before 10am, between 12-2pm, and after 4pm. This means I can accommodate any pet routine, and pay them ample attention. I am respectful of other people’s homes, and ensure I follow the rules. If the pet has limitations on access in the house, I will ensure this is abided by. I never leave food unattended around pets. If the dog goes outside, I will observe until it comes back inside. When looking after a dog, I will ensure I am in its company. When looking after a cat, I will ensure constant check ins to ensure it’s comfortable.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently co-parent two French Bulldogs and understand the love, care and attention dogs need to feel happy and secure. I’ve also helped raise rescue puppies from birth, giving me experience caring for very young dogs and understanding their individual needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering basic care, exercise, enrichment and providing plenty of affection. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone you trust, so I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular photos and messages while you’re away. I’m based in Ealing but also spend a lot of time in Barnes if you needed someone local there I work from home, which means I’m around throughout the day to provide company, supervision and plenty of attention. Your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and can enjoy a calm, relaxed environment with regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and, of course, unlimited cuddles if that’s what they love. I’ll do my best to maintain their usual routine so they feel comfortable and settled during their stay. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including rescue puppies from birth. I take time to understand each dog’s personality, routine and needs to help them feel secure and at home. Whether your dog loves playtime, quiet companionship or endless cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of care, attention and affection while keeping you updated with regular photos and messages.
“My dog Sakura instantly liked Dom. Such a good character and someone I can really rely on. I'm commending him with highest praise. I will definitely book him again next time”

About: I've had pets all my life and been pet sitting "professionally" since moving to London 5 years ago. I have been house sitting and caring for a variety of neighbours pets and have experience with all ranges of pet needs. Regular walks, vet visits, administering medication, washing etc. I have also dealt with elderly, diabetic and asthmatic pets and have experience administering insulin injections, asthma pumps and oral medication. I truly love this extra hobby and would be a wonderful carer while you are away. Please contact me if youd like to know more or book me for your next vacation.
About: I have completed a Level 3 animal management course in which I did the basics in dog training and learned how to perform CPR on dogs as well. I am currently a full time uni student although my course has not started yet so I will be available 24/7 for the foreseeable future. I like to make sure the dog's happiness and safety comes first, and as no two dogs are the same I like to get as much information as possible from the owners so that I can facilitate the dogs in the best I can for them

About: I’ve lived in Ealing all my life. I have my own cat and have had cats, rabbits and guinea pigs since I was a child. I’m a huge dog lover and would often look after my friend’s Shar Pei overnight before they sadly moved to the US. Although I have a cat I have a separate annex so can keep separate if need be. Recent DBS check. Looking forward to meeting your mutt or moggie 😊 I’m available all week for boarding, house sitting and happy to do multiple visits per day to feed/change litter trays/play/for walks. I have a car so can easily travel to you to do multiple feeds or walks per day. I offer boarding and also happy to do the odd night/s staying at your home.
“Tenny has looked after Madge a few times now and has done a great job - she’s very knowledgeable about dogs, is always on time and always seems so happy to see Madge! Madge can be a little nervous around new people but took to her very quickly ☺️. We also had loads of updates and pictures, which was very reassuring. Would definitely recommend Tenny.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since I was 10 years old and grew up surrounded by pets. In London, I regularly help friends by pet-sitting, giving animals loving, reliable, and attentive care. I work remotely full-time, so having your pet with me is wonderful company! I love cuddles and giving lots of love. I’m available for overnight stays at my home, taking care of your furry friend. I live in a flat on my own with a park right behind my building—perfect for daily walks! My home is pet-friendly, with a balcony for some fresh air. I work from home in a pet-friendly office, so your furry friend will always have company, cuddles, and care while I’m looking after them.
“It was great to meet Isabel. She did a great job of looking after our dog, cat, a few hens and a ton of plants while we were away. Very friendly and good communication. We came home to a tidy house and happy animals. Highly recommended 😊”

“Kiera was brilliant with Riley. I contacted her at short notice and luckily for me she was available. She arrived on time and they spent over 7 hrs. together. Riley was very happy to spend time with Kiera and I would be delighted if she agreed to come and look after him again.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Ealing
Dom is an excellent dog sitter - he came to meet Lola a few weeks before the sit and she took to him immediately. We knew she was in safe hands and communication was great. We had daily updates and photos and we returned to a very chilled dog and the house was immaculate. We’re already trying to find future dates for Dom to return. Highly recommend.

On Saturday we left our lovely dog Poppy for the first time with delightful Leilah. From the moment I met her I knew Poppy would be in good hands. Very confident , kind and obviously loves animals as much as we do. Kept in touch whilst we were away, with updates how Poppy was. We will definitely be using Leilah again. 100 % recommend would give her 10 stars if I could . 🙏

Melissa is absolutely lovely and the best cat sitter to my two Ragdolls. She took amazing care of them and gave me total peace of mind while I was away. During the heatwave, she stayed with them all day to make sure they were okay, which I appreciated so much. She was reliable, caring, thoughtful, and kept me updated throughout. My cats were clearly very well looked after and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. Highly recommend!

Ingryd is absolutely amazing. We would recommend her to anyone as she takes wonderful care of not only our lovely kitten Socks but also our home! She was fabulous with Socks who already misses her a lot. We will definitely be booking her again as we have complete trust in her!!

We love Ben and Jack!! And our doggy Hugo does too! Hugo was extremely happy to see Ben again. He also cleaned all his sheets and tidied our house open exit. Sending daily updates and keeping us up to date was really nice and kept us feeling relaxed on our travels! We will be issuing them again for our July holiday… thank you so much for all your help

Maria is such a lovely, kind and caring person. She kept in touch and sent pictures of both our pets who seemed very happy and content in her company. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned too. We'd happily recommend Maria to house sit and would gladly have her sit for us again. Thank you Maria!

Olivia was absolutely fantastic with our Frenchie, Jack. From our very first conversation, she asked thoughtful questions that showed she genuinely cared about understanding his routine and needs. Throughout the weekend stay, she sent small updates with regular photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Olivia is kind, reliable, and truly loves dogs. Jack was happy, well cared for, and comfortable in her care, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily book with Olivia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Ealing walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ealing choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 88% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
