“Atena was an exceptional cat sitter, we were genuinely blown away. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that were both reassuring and a joy to receive. It was clear the cats absolutely adored her, which meant a lot to us. We’d happily book her again if she’s available. She also left the flat spotless, which we really appreciated.”

“Marta was amazing! I asked her last minute to look after our 2 cats one of who had been unwell. She took amazing care of our cats and gave various medications with no issues. I got regular updates from Marta and complete peace of mind while away! I will definitely be asking Marta to cat sit again she was absolutely perfect! She also watered plants and left the house super clean and tidy! 10/10!”

“As this was the first time leaving our pets for a few nights we were happy to find Bilqis to house sit. They really took to her and she looked after them very well. We will definitely be booking Bilqis again !”

“Ramandeep was just amazing, our little pup Daisy loved her. She stayed at our place and took great care of Daisy, taking her out and even training her. Went above and beyond to make sure Daisy had the best time. We will definitely book her again!”

“Dom helped us out at last minute for four days, collecting him overnight from my elderly parents and walking our dog to our house where Dom kept him company during the day before walking him back late afternoon when the decorator had left my parents house. An excellent dog sitter and walker. Punctual (which was important to my parents) plus his calm nature suited our extremely anxious dog.”

“Serafima was absolutely fantastic, looked after the house and our cat Mushroom to a standard beyond what we'd expect and we'd love to hire her again in the future. If I could give more than 5 stars I would”

“Stephania was great with Stevie! I felt really comfortable leaving her with her straight away, and she sent me some lovely photos and updates throughout the day. Stevie got three walks and looked like she had a great time! Would definitely book again 😊”

“Caroline was great, arrived on time and looked after my dog for the evening. I arranged it with her quickly and communications were good. I would highly recommend Caroline”

“Excellent sitting for our pup from Chloe Jelena! We were very happy with the care, updates and general communication from Chloe Jelena. Would have no hesitation in booking her again 😊”

“Elaine was honestly the best cat sitter I’ve ever had! She is incredibly kind, caring, and considerate. She kept me updated throughout my time away, sending me lots of lovely photos and videos of my cat. from eating and relaxing to going out and exploring on her leash. 🥰 She took such amazing care of my cat, and I came home to a super clean house and, most importantly, a very happy cat after 5 days. I honestly couldn’t recommend Elaine enough! Even my neighbours asked for her contact details after seeing how wonderfully she looked after my cat. That really says it all! Thank you, Elaine. You’re an absolute star! ❤️🐾”

“Biscuit enjoyed her day with Anna so much that she was waiting for her by the door to come back after she'd left! Anna sent over several update photos and we felt happy with the care she gave our puppy!”

“We look forward to booking Gayle again soon! Our three senior dogs had a lovely day with Gayle, they were happy and calm upon our return. Our Dachshund who has anxiety took to her right away, and seemed relaxed when we left instead of pacing and crying as he sometimes does. Gayle was very understanding of our dogs needs and care. We received photos and videos throughout the day. We will be booking Gayle again soon!”

About: Hi, I’m Mari! Experienced dog lover since childhood. My brother’s whippet Valentina came from Brazil and lived with us for 12 wonderful years before she passed away, about 3 years ago. I now share a sunny home with a fenced garden and a friendly cat who doesn’t mind furry friends around. I work from home 4 days a week and I’m always available for caring pet companionship! My work days finishes with a long walk by the canal, where I usually take my dog companions :) I’m a lighting designer and I work from home Tuesday to Friday from a back room overlooking my garden. My work is busy but very flexible, and I can board dogs for longer stays or full days with a bit of advance notice I have a small, very friendly cat who has been used to dogs since she was little. I also have a sunny fenced garden facing my home office. For boarding, dogs can sleep in my bed if needed, or in a separate room.
About: We have had dogs in the family for as long as I remember. Dog walking is up there in our favourite things to do, we just love it. Experience with both puppies and OAPs (old age pooches) - know their different food and walk requirements. Experience with epileptic dog. Holly and I both work full time (mon-fri) so weekday evenings and weekends are most suitable for us. I work in a school so can be around in half terms etc. We treat every dog with the love that they deserve. Lots of cuddles and fuss is something that can 100% be taken care of. We both love walking so long walks are something we’d love to help out with! I (Charlie) work in school so benefit from being around in half terms and am usually back from work around 4. Holly works from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Drop us a message about evenings and weekends and if we are free we’d love to take care of your pet! We own a one bedroom flat with a communal garden should you want to drop your pet with us. We are more than happy to come to your home too.
About: I've had dogs for most part of my life, it was the joy of my days having them and caring for them. Unfortunately my beloved Bella passed away, so now I enjoy petsitting for friend and pet owners. I've been doing that for the past 3 years, mostly overnight care for dogs and cats, where we go for long walks, play with toys, I take care of feeding and any other particularity you pet might have. I genuinely love them and we have a lot of fun! I'm currently having a sabbatical, so I have plenty of time to care for your beloved pet. We can go for morning and afternoon walks, play without stressing about time. Beforehand I always request a brief explanation on how the owner preferences and pets habits so it can be comfortable for them. Either at the pet's owner house or my house I make the environment safe and cozy for them.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Ealing
Austeya was simply amazing! Kind, thoughtful, responsible, caring, and Pippi clearly fell in love with her, based on the numerous photos she sent me and the cuddles she was giving (and getting!). As a rescue cat, Pippi has some separation issues, and this was our first long trip away since adopting her. I literally couldn’t have felt more comfortable if I’d been there myself. Austeya communicated regularly and clearly, and sent daily photos of my little one, who was clearly enjoying life. Not only was this my first time leaving Pippi alone that long, it was also my first time having a housesitter, and also using Rover. The process was easy, seamless and we completely lucked out with Austeya herself. Would give 6 stars if we could.

We left our cat with Tetiana for the second time, and once again, we couldn’t have asked for better care. ❤️She took such wonderful care of him, and it was clear that her whole family genuinely loved having him around. It gave us such peace of mind knowing he was happy, comfortable and well looked after while we were away. We’re so grateful for all the care she gave him, and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with her again.

Bilqis was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter! She was an incredibly clear and timely communicator throughout the entire stay, sending regular updates so we never had to worry. She stayed in our house and left everything spotless and tidy when we returned — you'd never even know someone had been there. It's obvious Bilqis genuinely loves cats and cares deeply about their wellbeing. She was so attentive and put in real effort to bond with our cat, Dex (our adopted rescue), showing patience and understanding the whole time. This was our first time using a sitter for him, and she made the experience so much easier for us as first-timers. Bilqis was super responsive whenever we reached out, and it was clear she truly cared about Dex's comfort and safety throughout the stay. We'd book her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely cat-loving sitter!

Pardise took great care of Zoe for 3 days and followed her routine perfectly so she felt comfortable. She brushed her daily, found her a cute bandana, and even took her on a walk while twinning with her! Highly recommend trusting Pardise with your fur baby. :)

Isabel was fab! She arrived on time, followed care instructions perfectly and gave updates throughout the day. Nancy immediately took a shining to her and was evidently comfortable in her care. Would absolutely recommend and book again. Thanks so much Isabel for taking the booking so last minute!

Lucy and Reece were very responsive and friendly. They kept us really well updated with how Roux was getting on and we felt very sure that he was in safe hands! Clearly experienced dog people, they dealt with Roux excellently, especially as he’s a boisterous young puppy! They also took great care of our house - we’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

Zsuzsanna is a fantastic cat sitter! Great communication, regular updates with photos, videos, and excellent care throughout. It was clear our cat Oliver was content, comfortable, and well looked after. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. Thank you—we will definitely book again Dejana, Joe and Tallulah

Joanna was fantastic looking after Georgie our Cavapoo on Saturday evening while we were out. She stayed at our home, took great care of him and kept us updated, which gave us complete peace of mind. He was clearly very happy. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Joanna and will definitely use her again. Thank you, Joanna!

Marta was amazing! 10/10!

Susi is just wonderful. One of my dogs has complex spinal problems and has to be given multiple drugs and Susi made sure he was so well looked after and gave him everything he needed. Whilst also looking after my other little dog. I can not say thank you enough for giving me the chance to be able to be out and not worry.

However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ealing choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
