I can't thank Bethan enough for the care she gave my puppy. She was kind, attentive, reassuring and incredibly thoughtful_ keeping me updated throughout the day and leaving my place spotless (I know my little one still has loads of accidents). I came back to the happiest, most settled puppy, which speaks volumes about the bond she built with him. Truly exceptional care!. Thank you Beth

Atena was an exceptional cat sitter, we were genuinely blown away. Her communication was fantastic, with regular updates and photos that were both reassuring and a joy to receive. It was clear the cats absolutely adored her, which meant a lot to us. We’d happily book her again if she’s available. She also left the flat spotless, which we really appreciated.

We look forward to booking Gayle again soon! Our three senior dogs had a lovely day with Gayle, they were happy and calm upon our return. Our Dachshund who has anxiety took to her right away, and seemed relaxed when we left instead of pacing and crying as he sometimes does. Gayle was very understanding of our dogs needs and care. We received photos and videos throughout the day. We will be booking Gayle again soon!

Then she took her for two walks, staying aware of the heat which I really appreciated. Then sending me plenty of pictures during the day and as she was leaving Miso sat next to her not wanting her to leave 🤣😊 would absolutely recommend Eloise.

Hannah is absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for someone to care for your dog, you can be confident that she will treat them as if they were her own. I was a little anxious about leaving my strong, energetic dog for the first time while I was away, but I had nothing to worry about. Loki adored Hannah and was clearly cared for with so much love and attention. Hannah kept me updated throughout my trip with regular communication, and I returned to find my home in immaculate condition. I’ll definitely be asking Hannah to look after Loki again the next time I’m away!

About: I have a 4 year old schnoodle who I have been training since he was a puppy. We, together, have attended training groups, neutral walks, social walks, and workshops which have supported me in developing a toolbox that can be used with various dogs. I take an individualistic and compassionate approach to each dog's needs, and if there is ongoing training, I am happy to assist with that (e.g. reactivity/neutrality, recall, prey drive, loose lead walking etc.). I am a doctoral student with some time on my hands and wfh days. I will make sure dogs get a walk and their needs met. I would like to know as much about a dog to make sure that I can meet their needs. Please do feel free to message me to discuss this if needed, as there could also be room for flexibility outside the dates/times I have offered. At the moment, I am offering house sitting, dog walks, and drop ins. For boarding/day care queries, please drop me a message. I will care for your pup just as I would for my own - a lot of love and care. I will work with the routine you have going for them in their own space, or outside.

About: I'm an experienced sitter with a variety of breeds of both dogs and cats, having had cats since I was a toddler, and dogs in the extended family my whole life. As an actor who works part-time, my schedule is flexible and can accommodate a lot of contact-time with pets. When I'm not on a job or working part-time in the city, I'll be working from home. You can expect multiple (if required) daily drop-ins, walks, and overnight sitting if local. I drive and cycle so it's easy for me to get around in good time, and I'm an active person so will always be up for a dog walk (or run!). I personally own 2 cats, so the safety and understanding of individual pet personalities is paramount to me! Additionally, as a homeowner, I also have great appreciation and respect for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the pet-owners I would be working with.

About: Growing up I have had 3 golden retrievers from the age of 5. The most recent of which I helped puppy training and dog sitting. I have been dog sitting my parents dogs when they go on holiday for the past 5 years and at university did some puppy sitting for my next door neighbor (black lab). I also used to babysit for a family with a dog from the age of 14-16. I work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I am flexible around your pet's needs. Also at the weekends I have availability. I would like to get a dog of my own in around a year but for now this will be my 'doggy fix'! I am very reliable and friendly - I love all dogs big and small! I will be unable to house a dog in my own home as I do not have a garden, however I am more than happy to come to your home to ensure your pets safety. I am able to do whatever care and safety you would like for you dog - if they are crate trained or not, harness or collar walked etc. I will walk dogs on lead until I have built up a relationship and knowledge of the area to know where is safe and enclosed. I will only allow them off lead if you are comfortable with that.

About: "Hey there! 🐾 I'm a true animal lover with a heart that's always had a soft spot for our furry friends. My journey started with my adorable Maremma shepherd, whom I cherished from his puppy days. We splashed in rivers, took long walks, and created memories that'll forever make me smile. My experience extends beyond my own pup – I've worn the hat of a dog sitter for a lively German Shepherd, a playful Golden Retriever, and an energetic Vizsla puppy. From walks to playtime, I've been the go-to for their daily dose of fun and care. Now, I'm here to shower your pet with the same love and joy. From cuddles to play sessions, your furry companion and I are bound to have a blast. 🐶❤️🐾" I'm working from home Mon-Thur, finishing at 5 pm. During the day I can play, stay with your dog and walk it as needed, as my schedule is pretty flexible. Free the whole weekend (Friday included). I'm outdoorsy and usually spend my weekends in parks/forests or hiking. I'm also an equestrian, so if your pets enjoy it, I can bring them along with me so that they can socialise with other animals! :) - Communicate with the owner about routine, diet, and special instructions. - Follow feeding schedule and portion sizes. - Engage in regular exercise and playtime. - Provide bathroom breaks and clean up promptly. - Administer medications as directed. - Groom as needed (brushing, bathing, nails). - Create a comfortable and safe environment. - Be cautious with doors and hazardous items. - Monitor health and behavior; update the owner. - Know emergency contacts and plans. - Respect the home; clean up and follow rules.

He handled complexities in feeding and medications with ease, and stayed in touch/sent photos via Whatssapp. Both we, and the cats warmed to him immediately and we hope he can cat sit for us again in the future 😊.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Ealing on Rover is £36.8 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 16,431 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ealing. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Ealing walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ealing choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
