“We couldn't have asked for a better sitters for2 dogs, 2 cats and not forgetting the 40 fish. Adrain and Iwona provided incredible peace of mind by sending daily photo updates. It was clear from the start that they genuinely love animals; our pets took to them immediately. We returned home to happy, relaxed pets and a spotless house. Highly professional and trustworthy—we will definitely be booking again!"”

“I was very pleased with Heather, she turned up on time and was here when I got back from my trip, and made me a cup, which was very welcome after a long drive. My cat was well looked after and my house was in good order. I couldn't ask for anything more. I will be using Heather again”

About: From a young age, I have had a strong interest in caring for and working with dogs. At the age of 11, I independently walked my Nana's Cavalier King Charles Spaniel both on and off the lead, helping to reinforce good behaviour through positive encouragement, treats, recall training, and simple tricks. I also regularly walked my neighbour’s Jack Russell growing up at the age of 14/15 each week, where I further developed my confidence handling dogs and enjoyed teaching basic tricks and commands. More recently, I have been volunteering to walk a large Labrador every week, which is something I get so much enjoyment from. I value the companionship, the opportunity to spend time outdoors on Sunday mornings, and the positive impact it has on both my physical and mental wellbeing while taking in the beautiful scenery and being at one with nature. I’m currently working part time , so I’ll have plenty of time to care and play with your dogs! I’m available for walking during the week and weekends as well as house sitting at weekends , feel free to message me and I’d be delighted to help whenever I can . I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet in my care. I always follow the owner’s routines closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication, and house rules, to help pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I make sure pets stay entertained with walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention and affection depending on their personality and energy level. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. While house sitting, I treat every home with respect and care. I keep the home clean and secure, follow any instructions carefully, and make sure pets are supervised, safe, and comfortable at all times. Being a professional Nanny , I know how important it is to find the right person for your family and pet!

“Tao was lovely and very attentive looking after our frenchie for a week. We knew he was in safe hands and was sent regular updates and lovely photos. Thank you so much x”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and currently own two Briards, so I’m very comfortable caring for large, energetic, and intelligent breeds. Looking after my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding routines, grooming, training reinforcement, and understanding different dog personalities. I’m patient, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always aim to make dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or just companionship and cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to their needs and routine. I have recently returned home from travelling in Canada so I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. Caring for dogs fits perfectly into my daily routine, and I’m available for walks, drop-ins or daycare whenever needed. I genuinely love spending time with animals, so being able to care for dogs as part of my day is something I really enjoy. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priority. I always take the time to understand each dog’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible while in my care. At home, dogs will have plenty of attention, company, exercise, and a calm environment to settle in. I’m experienced with larger breeds through owning two Briards, so I’m confident handling energetic dogs as well as those who prefer a quieter pace. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always respect their usual routines, feeding schedules, walking habits, and any training rules already in place to help pets feel secure and comfortable in their familiar environment. I’ll also keep owners updated with messages and photos for peace of mind.
About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, care, and genuine attention I can give to every pet. Being on maternity leave means I’m home most of the day, so your furry friend will always have supervision, companionship, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I’m very patient and attentive, which makes me confident caring for puppies learning their routines, senior dogs who need a gentler approach, or pets with special needs. Some things that help owners feel confident choosing me: I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, including feeding, walking, and playtime, to reduce stress. I maintain a safe, clean environment at all times, whether in your home or mine. I provide regular photo and message updates so you can see your pet happy and relaxed throughout their stay. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, and I strive to build trust with both pets and their owners. I’m currently on maternity leave and spend most of my time at home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Because I’m home often, pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to welcoming new furry friends and giving them a safe, calm, and caring environment. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I will always provide a calm and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and secure whilst in my care whether they are in their own home or mine. I will take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible (again, regardless of being in my home or their own). In my home - pets will have a safe, clean space to relax aswell as play. They will always be supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In your home - I will respect your space and follow the instructions provided so your pet can stay happy and content within their usual environment. I will stick to their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident with the care being provided.

About: I’ve had years of experience with dogs, we have had a family dog my whole life! since moving into my own place I now have a dog of my own. I would visit our local dog park 3-4 times a week so would probably spend more time with dogs than friends 😅 I’ll promise to look after your fur child like my own. I’ve had experience with basic obedience training for dogs, in addition to this my last seasonal role required me to care for the family cat, whilst also allowing me to care/ walk for dogs for surrounding families. I am a very patient, friendly and genuine person which is exactly what you need in a pet carer. I am currently based in Seer Green, I am happy to travel around the area to accommodate your needs. Reach out for more info or questions. I unfortunately do have the current capacity to provide care in my home, this may change in future but I will be sure to update this in my services.
About: Hello, I am an enthusiastic animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. From a young age, I have had the pleasure of rescuing dogs from the streets and shelters, forming a deep bond with these incredible animals. Over the past 15 years, I have provided exceptional care for dogs and cats in my neighbourhood and among friends. Walking, playing, and nurturing these furry companions has been a true joy for me. I also volunteer at Dogs Trust in Harefield. Currently, I offer dog walking services in my radius and day care/boarding at your location. In April, I had the fortunate opportunity to rescue two cats within a month. One is Lulu, a 5-year-old beauty I adopted from the RSPCA, and the other is Tippy, a precious 6-month-old kitten who was discovered with his siblings and brought to me when they were just 10 days old. With Lulu's invaluable assistance, we provided round-the-clock care for these little ones, ensuring their chances of survival. As of now, I haven't introduced a dog to our home yet, as I want to give Lulu ample time to adjust after her traumatic past. If you entrust me with the care of your beloved dogs and cats, I guarantee that they will be showered with an abundance of love, affection, and endless playtime. As someone who currently works full-time from the comfort of my home, I often take breaks from staring at my computer screen to venture outside for a refreshing walk and a breath of fresh air. On these occasions, I happily offer to take my neighbours' furry babies along with me. Furthermore, I am more than willing to travel to your location if necessary. I am genuinely excited to meet you and your cherished companion, and I can assure you that they will be in the most safe and nurturing hands. No matter the size of your dog, I am confident in my ability to form a strong bond and provide the utmost care. Effective communication is essential to me, so I will make it a priority to learn the important details about your dog before our first meeting. Rest assured, both you and your furry friend will feel comfortable and at ease in my care. I will provide you with photos and videos of your furry babies so you can relax and be sure that your dog/cat is enjoying their day.
“Jamie was absolutely brilliant! We left Toby and our house in his care for six nights and I think the dog was disappointed when we arrived home!! We were updated daily with pictures and details from their numerous walks and adventures, and Jamie even took the time to sort an ant problem that cropped up while we were away! He did a pre stay visit to meet Toby and get to know the house, and left it immaculately clean after his stay. There was no doubt Toby had a wonderful time in his care and we came home to a very relaxed dog! He was super charming and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again. Thank you Jamie!”

Katy is quietly confident and highly competent. She knows what she is doing and also has a very high ability to bond with animals so that they are calm and feel unstressed. Our two dogs really loved her during her time staying and caring for them. They were and are completely happy being with her, which was a huge relief. She is highly recommended!

Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in South Bucks choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
