About: For the entirity of my life I have known I want to have a job that involves working with animals. I have truly experienced so much when it comes to them, and I feel very fortunate to have had many of these experiences. On a trip to Venice when I was younger I helped the police catch a dog that was on the loose, to eventually return it to the owner. When visiting family in the Cayman Islands I helped out with rescuing and rehoming dogs who had been badly treated by their owners. During my Duke of Edinburgh I volunteered at the Tarbay Kennels and Cattery for 6 months which I then continued doing weekly for much longer because I loved being around the dogs. My love didn't stop here though, after I finished my GCSE's I decided to do a course in Animal Management (level 3 extended diploma) at Berkshire College of Agriculture which I completed with a DMM (Distinction Merit Merit). During this time I also went to South Africa to Volunteer with conservation work in the Kruger National park. I was also doing occasional dogsitting for a lovely family near Warfield while I was at college, which also turned into overnight housesitting sometimes. After returning from university I have decided that I would love to go back to working with animals and have been walking an elderly lab twice a week, which I absolutely love doing and look forward to every week! Finally I have 3 years of experience working in an exotic fish shop, so if you have a fish tank I can also take care of it while you are on holiday! I'm currently doing a lot of part time work which is mainly over the weekends so I have plenty of free time during the week! On weekends I am doing both bar work and serving tea and coffees at a pop up stand both at Reading Hockey Club. I like to fill up my week with plenty of different dog walks that keep me out and about so I will make time for you! For Dog Walking: I am very comfortable with walking dogs of all sorts and will keep them on the lead at all times unless you specify that they are fine to go off the lead. As a person who cares deeply about the environment, I would like to be within cycling range of your house and will not transport dogs anywhere in a vehicle. Because of this its ideal if you have a park or a green area within walking distance of your house for your dog/s to have the optimum experience. I prefer to use your equipment for dog walks as the dogs are more familiar with it and so will be more comfortable (this includes lead, harness (if required) and treats, and preferably poo bags too). Personally I hate mixing dogs with other dogs from different families so I will only walk multiple dogs if you have multiple dogs! For Dog Sitting: I have done a fair bit of dogsitting in the past but you will need to let me know different things about the dog/s, e.g. how often they need the toilet during the night or what time you like them to eat. I am very comfortable with giving your dog/s plenty of attention and enriching them with different activities! Final Note: I am not comfortable with caring for extremely brachycephalic dogs, e.g. Bulldogs & Pugs, as I do not agree with the ethics in breeding them.

About: I’ve always been around dogs and naturally took on caring for them, whether that was helping out friends, neighbours, or family. Over time, I’ve gotten used to different personalities. From really energetic dogs who love to play to quieter ones who just want company. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and not stressed when their owners are away. I’m someone who pays attention to the little things and treats every pet like they’re my own. I’m available for pet care through drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting in the owner’s home. My schedule is flexible, and I can accommodate mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends with notice. I provide care in your home so your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow your routines closely, ensure doors and gates are secure, and give regular updates for peace of mind. I do not host pets at my own home.
“Fantastic service we have a very fearful dog she handled it very well and by the time we got home the fear was mostly gone we were shocked of how quiet luna was. Will definitely use her service again”

About: Hi, I'm Holly! 😇 I am an experienced house/ pet sitter and dog walker, with 20 years of experience both professionally as well as caring for my own pets. I am naturally empathetic and caring by nature, and of course an animal lover.🐶 I recently returned from a year abroad travelling and living in Australia, where I did numerous house and pet sits, looking after both cats and dogs of varying sizes and breeds. Now that I am home, I am keen to continue, providing quality care back in my home town! Beyond this, I have taken care of many pets of my own throughout the years including cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, lizards, millipedes, and fish. My family also foster rabbits for the RSPCA - which I helped out with when I was living at home. 🐰 I am patient, soft natured, and calm, with rest assured that your furry friends are in responsible and attentive hands. I am experienced with: ✨Puppy & Kitten care ✨Senior pets ✨Nervous/ Anxious pets ✨Separation Anxiety ✨High energy dogs As an avid runner, I love the outdoors and being out in nature so I am more than happy to take your dog along with me. Whether they enjoy just a potter outdoors or longer walks, I'm happy to tailor walks to their requirements and energy levels. 🍃 I am happy to discuss more about my experiences or answer any questions you may have - so please do not hesitate to get in touch! Holly 🐾 I currently have full availability for pet care after recently returning to the UK from living abroad. I am keen to continue caring for pets here in my home town😇🐶✨ I can care for pets in your home, including overnight, day board, walks and in everything in between and in some instances, care at my own home.
About: I have done house and pet sitting for both cats, dogs and chickens in the UK. I have great experience caring for both elderly dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens. I'm also experienced in giving medication, both pills and injections. I've had pets myself all my life, so you can be assured your fur babies are in good hands. Plus, I always arrange to visit potential bookings at your home before confirming a booking, so we can both feel confident of a good fit, thereby putting my pet owners minds at rest. If you would like copies of testimonials or references, please message me, and I would be happy to share those, as in addition to Rover, I have successfully worked with other companies for many years. I work for myself, so I am extremely flexible, to fit most pet routines. I'm happy to fit into most pet owners schedules, to provide continuity of care. I offer a live-in care service for pets, in the pet owner's home. This way the pets can continue with their usual routine, without disruption. This is the ultimate solution for happy and healthy pets. Plus, there is the undoubted added security for your home, when someone is living in your home, whilst you are away. Lights being turned on and off, curtains being drawn, a car in the driveway and so on.
“Tatiana was great. Came to meet our puppy few days before and sat with him all day in our home. He had an upset stomach the day after (nothing Tatiana has done its a side effect from vaccination) and she was so worried was texting us asking how he was days after. She cares for dogs and thats all that matters. Will book again ☺️”

“Joanne was lovely from start to finish of our booking. As soon as I met Joanne I felt totally at ease about leaving George and Fleur with her and also in our home. Regular updates and pictures recieved, even a lovely card and treats left at the end of the stay, which was so kind. We would have no hesitation in having Joanne stay with George and Fleur again.”

“Huge thank you to Katie. This was the first time i have tried to trust someone with my baby Thor. Katie is kind and has a lovely way about her and is clearly passionate and caring. Was on time, kept me updated throughout the day with pics and my dog was happy when I got home. He must have enjoyed himself , slept and enjoyed his time with Katie. It’s such a big thing firstly to trust someone with your fur baby but also to have someone in your house. I would highly recommend Katie and will definitely book again. Thank you!”

Maidenhead pet owners share their Rover experiences
I can highly recommend Robert & Lizzie, we had the best experience with them. It was a fairly last minute house sitting request and we even managed to meet up with them a few days prior to the service to introduce them to our dog Lotte. From the first moments of meeting Robert and Lizzie we knew Lotte would be in safe hands, and they liked each other straight away. Their calm nature made us feel instantly ease. Everything went great and we received an update during the day with cute photos. Robert and Lizzie were friendly, punctual and reliable, I would definitely use them again!

Simon & Caitlin looked after our 2 small dogs for a long weekend while we were attending a family event. This was the first time we had ever left the dogs behind so we were a bit anxious - until we met Simon & Caitlin. One of our dogs is very nervous but she took to them immediately as they are very relaxed and obviously used to dogs. They listened carefully to our care instructions which reassured me. The house was clean & tidy when they left and we received daily updates. Would recommend them for pet sitting and would definitely use them again.
