“Pavla has been amazing taking care of Kevin. He's happy, he's warm towards her and as soon as she left he went to smell the door and try to understand why she was going away. I've already have many other bookings planned with her, and looking forward to all of them. Thank you!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Rhiannon! She stayed in our home to look after our two dogs, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely excellent. Rhiannon took the time to make sure both dogs were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. One of our dogs can get quite anxious and tends to bark a lot when we leave, but with Rhiannon, Luna was calm and settled, which gave us huge peace of mind. It was clear that she has a natural way with dogs and made them feel safe and relaxed. She kept us updated throughout the day with lots of photos and regular messages, and she was always quick to respond whenever we had questions. Her communication was outstanding and really reassured us that everything was going smoothly. Rhiannon made sure the dogs were fed, exercised with walks, and kept to their normal routine. She also asked thoughtful, responsible questions about their care, including what to do in case of any health concerns or vet needs. Having someone stay in our home can feel like a big step, but Rhiannon was so easy to work with. We came home to two very happy dogs and a stress-free experience. We would absolutely recommend Rhiannon to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional sitter. We’d be delighted to book her again!”

About: I own a large dog with epilepsy for nearly 14 years and have loved taking care of him. I understand that pets can feel stressed and nervous when their owners aren’t with them so I understand wanting to have someone look after them, or take them on long walks to give an enjoyable and fun experience. Although I don’t have much professional experience, I have looked after pets for family whenever I could. I’m currently taking a Dog Grooming course for a Level 3 Diploma and have recently completed my Pet First Aid course so I’m ready for an emergency should one occur. I’m available to pet sit on any day or night you wish. I’m also available to dog walk at any time whether it is early in the morning, or later in the evening! My pet is my top priority, and so is any other pet I look after so I always make sure they’re safe and well cared for (and spoiled). I’m trained in Pet First Aid so I am prepared for any emergencies
“Rebecca and her husband came and stayed and looked after our cat whilst we were away for the week. Rebecca did a great job and we came home to a happy cat and clean house. She was also great at keeping us updated and sending us pictures of our cat whilst we were away and was always quick to respond to any communication. Would use again!”

“Kerry is an incredible cat and house sitter. Our shy boy was absolutely smitten with her, and loved her cuddles and brushes. She sent us some many great photos and videos of the fn that they we’re having together. We would highly recommend her for any cat sitting, and will be sure to use her again for our next trip. Thank you so much Kerry 😊”

“Leonie & Anthony were absolutely amazing pet-sitters! They looked after Luna for three days at home and they were so kind, thoughtful, and communicative. Luna was spoiled with cuddles, walks, and presents. Definitely recommend L&A, and will certainly book them again. Thank you so much for being so lovely with Luna.”

“Kaia was wonderful! She sent consistent updates and photos throughout, which gave us complete peace of mind. She asked all the right questions upfront and left the house in perfect order. It was clear she genuinely enjoyed Olivia’s company — and the feeling was mutual. Highly recommend!”

“Tetiana was absolutely amazing! She took care of our cat and dog for 11 days, and we couldn’t have asked for better. Communication was excellent throughout — she kept us updated regularly and sent lovely photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Both our pets were clearly happy and well looked after. She also left the house spotless and tidy. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Rafi sat with the dogs today and was brilliant. The dogs were so happy and relaxed with her and she gave them a fun game too. Thank you, Rafi! Look forward to you coming back soon.”

About: Hi, I'm Davina! I've grown up around a variety of animals, particularly dogs, and have been caring for friends' and family members' dogs since I was 18. My experience includes overnight stays in owners' homes, daytime drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of cuddles. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to larger dogs. Growing up, my grandad had a beautiful Siberian Husky who sparked my love of dogs, and I spent many happy hours helping to look after and play with him. While I don't currently have a dog of my own, it's something I hope to do in the future when I have a home with a garden. For now, I enjoy spending time with other people's pups and ensuring they receive the same care, attention, and affection they get from their families. I currently work Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, which means I'm available for evening walks/ drop-in visits during the week. I'm also available on weekends for walks, drop-ins or overnight stays. If you have any special requests, please feel free to ask! Every visit is tailored to your dog's needs and can include feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, medication administration (if required), and any other requests you may have. My priority is making sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, happy, and reassured. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel daunting, so I aim to provide a caring, reliable service that helps maintain your dog's normal routine and gives you complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Currently Friday to Sunday are most convenient for me. Evenings are also possible as I am out working during the day and home/ available from 6pm. I am in a ground floor apartment with communal grounds. I live right near a beautiful park/ field where I walk daily of an evening.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have owned multiple cats over the years, so I’m very used to caring for pets, understanding their personalities, and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m also a big dog lover and really enjoy spending time playing with dogs, going for walks, and giving them plenty of attention. Jennifer also has plenty of experience caring for smaller pets, having looked after rabbits and guinea pigs over the years. Together, we’re very comfortable with different pet personalities and routines, from giving them gentle attention and playtime to making sure they feel safe, settled, and properly cared for in their own home. We work from home full time, which means We have a flexible schedule and can give pets the time and care they deserve throughout the day. We are naturally very caring, patient, and attentive, and will always treat your pets as if they were my own - whether that means playtime, cuddles, feeding, walks, or simply keeping them company. “Josh looked after our basset hounds and did a superb job! He kept us informed all along the way and sent the must needed photos to show the dogs were chilled and relaxed. It was a pleasure to have him house sit our dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend him!”

About: I’ve been raised around dogs my whole life, so caring for them feels very natural to me. Over the years, I’ve often looked after neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and ages. I understand how important routine and consistency are for dogs, from knowing how often they need walks to recognizing when they may be tired, anxious, or unwell. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and ability to pick up on the small details that make a big difference in pet care. I can adapt to the specific needs of each dog—whether that’s extra playtime for puppies with lots of energy, a gentler pace and special care for seniors, or sticking closely to a feeding and exercise routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they’re not only safe and well cared for, but also happy and comfortable while with me. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I can dedicate all the time and attention your pets need. Since this is my only job, I have the flexibility to follow your pet’s specific routine, whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. My schedule is built entirely around making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy, so you can always count on me to be reliable and available when needed. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In a pet owner’s home, I always respect their space and follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible, which helps reduce stress and keeps pets comfortable. I make sure doors and gates are secure at all times, walks are done safely on-lead unless otherwise instructed, and feeding/medication schedules are followed exactly. If pets are with me in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they’ll have plenty of attention, exercise, and rest. I keep a close eye on their behavior and wellbeing, and I’m quick to notice if something seems off. Whether at my home or the owner’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they’re cared for with patience, kindness, and consistency.
About: While I am new to paid pet sitting, I have been surrounded by animals since childhood and have a deep, practical understanding of pet care. Growing up, my father bred European and German Shepherds. By the age of 12, I was already hands-on, helping raise litters of puppies, and later actively assisted with my grandmother’s German Shepherd. I was also fully responsible for walking and training our family dog, Bagira. Through this, I gained valuable experience in handling large breeds, basic training, and safely administering medications, tablets, or injections. Having recently moved to the UK, I unfortunately don't have a dog of my own here yet, though I never miss a chance to play with pets when visiting friends. However, I currently look after Maine Coon cat, which includes demanding daily routines like medical teeth brushing and managing her health care. I will bring this lifelong experience, patience, and medical confidence to make sure your beloved pet is safe, happy, and treated like family! I am currently on holiday, meaning I have full-time flexibility and zero distractions. I can adapt entirely to your pet's exact schedule, offering round-the-clock companionship, frequent walks, and timely medical or feeding routines. In your home, I ensure safety by strictly following all house rules and security protocols. I maintain a stress-free environment, provide loving companionship, manage specialized diets, and keep you updated with regular photos and messages for total peace of mind.
“Pippa was super friendly, reliable and looked after our little Maya perfectly. She sent us lots of lovely pics and messages which was so reassuring. We would be happy to have her sit for us again soon ☺️”

“Summer recently stayed in our home for 7 nights to look after our two dogs, Jinx and Foxy. We were very happy with her service. Summer was professional and communicative by sending daily updates and photos and any questions she had, to ensure that the dogs were happy. She was great with both dogs, especially Jinx who is usually anxious around new people. She took great care of our home too. We couldn't recommend her more and would happily book her again!”

We highly recommend Shaquille & Jennifer, Lexy had a great time with them and was very well looked after while we were away. They kept us updated with messages and photos throughout her stay. It looked like she enjoyed some lovely walks, plenty of attention, and even some fun time in the garden. We’d happily leave Lexy with Shaquille & Jennifer again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others 🐶🐾
Second time I've booked Rhiannon and she did another wonderful job. She looked after my high energy dog in the heatwave for a week and I returned home to a house the way I left it and a happy well looked after dog. Her communication style was fabulous, I received lots of photos and videos of my boy. I would highly recommend and have booked for the future :)

Kaia was really kind with our nervous cockapoo and looked after him overnight at our house really well. She was flexible about coming round to meet him, turned up on time, left our house neat and tidy and was very understanding when we got stuck in traffic and were half an hour late back. Would definitely recommend!

I can’t recommend Hannah enough she looked after my cat Lola better than I do! My house looked amazing when I got back and I had daily photos and updates which really put my mind at rest, she is an absolute treasure and will definitely use again, thank you Hannah 😊

Tetiana stayed with my dogs Otto and Pepper for 2 nights whilst my eldest daughter was in and out working. She looked after the dogs and the house so well and the house was cleaner when we got back than than when we left! My daughter felt very comfortable around Tetiana and said she was very respectful of her space. The dogs seemed very relaxed when we got back as if they were absolutely fine without us. Tetiana sent beautiful pictures and updates also. Many Thanks Tetiana

Massive thank you to Sophie for looking after my dog. It was his first time with a sitter and she took time on a previous day as a meet and greet to get familiar with him etc She was very understanding of my dogs quirks and resource guarding moments and handled the situation highly appropriately I would definitely recommend Sophie - she was great with my dog but also a very friendly person :)

Josh looked after our basset hounds and did a superb job! He kept us informed all along the way and sent the must needed photos to show the dogs were chilled and relaxed. It was a pleasure to have him house sit our dogs and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

We had a fantastic experience with Alice. She took amazing care of our ridgeback puppy, which is no small task given how young he is still and stubborn he can be! She stuck to his schedule, reinforced his training, and showed real patience and consistency throughout. It gave us huge peace of mind knowing him and our home were in such capable and caring hands while we were away.

Charlotte was a god send to us planning a last min getaway. She was in contact whilst we were away and put us at ease after leaving our needy bracco Otto who loves his walks and being around people. Otto absolutely loved her and was looking for her around the house when we got home. Charlotte stayed at our house and left the house very clean and with a happy dog for our return. Charlotte is very patient and kind, and I would highly recommend anyone who needs a trustworthy and dog loving sitter or walker! She just loves dogs and they love her! Otto misses you already! Xx

Pavla was a real superstar for us. Our dog is not the easiest of pups. He’s a sensitive soul. It was always going to take a little while to learn his quirks but she did it and you could tell he really got on well with her. She sent regular updates whilst we were away - which really helped us feel comfortable. We will be working with her again soon.

I am so grateful to Aimee for taking such good care of my two little trouble dogs. She looked after them all day and im so so grateful. I finally got to leave the house and celebrate my birthday. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Aimee and I will definitely book her in again for my two woofs who loved her.

Nicola did a house sit for me and looked after my cat and two Guinea Pigs whilst I was away for 6 days. I could not have asked for anything more from her, she was excellent. She came over a little while before my trip to meet my pets and see the house; knowing my pets and I had met her already made me feel very at ease and comfortable when I left for my holiday. She arrived shortly after I left on the first day of her sit, and communication with me was excellent - letting me know she’d arrived and keeping me updated throughout her stay. I came home to very happy animals and my house was kept nice and tidy. I will definitely be contacting Nicola again when I require another sit or any pop in visits! Thank you so much!

It was a delight to have Summer look after our 2 Cocker Spaniel’s in their own home while we were away for 3 nights. Summer was a natural with the girls from the first time she meet them at the Meet & Greet - her love for dogs was obvious & they took to her immediately! The girls love fuss and attention & they got plenty of it, it was so reassuring to see how happy & relaxed they were while we were away! Our dogs are early risers and Summer was happy to fit around their schedule. We felt relaxed having her stay in our home & when we returned everything was left clean & tidy!. This was our first experience using Rover.com after having taken a long time plucking up the courage to give it a go. We will definitely be using Summer again soon!
Rachel was pro-active ahead of the stay to meet Hercules and learn his routine, which was great, and also reassuring. I came home to a happy dog, so very well looked after, and also applies to the house. Very highly recommended, and would have zero qualms about using again. Thank you, Rachel, Chris and Hercules.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bracknell Forest choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 86% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
