About: Hi, I'm Kelly! I work from home full-time and provide loving, reliable pet care tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether you're looking for boarding, doggy day care, house sitting, dog walking or drop-in visits, your pet will be treated like one of the family. I live with my partner Nikolai who also helps walk and take care of our visitors. I have a secure garden and a friendly resident dog, Mabel, who loves making new friends and is a wonderful companion for sociable dogs. However, I understand that not every dog enjoys the company of others. If your dog prefers their own space, I'm happy to accommodate this with separate walks, individual care and house sitting, ensuring they feel comfortable, relaxed and receive my full attention. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so every guest receives plenty of one-to-one attention, regular walks, playtime, cuddles and companionship in a calm, loving home. I've had dogs, cats and horses all my life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbours and family have regularly relied on me to feed, walk, play with and look after their pets while away. I'm patient, trustworthy, flexible and genuinely love animals, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. Whether it's an energetic puppy, a senior dog who enjoys a slower pace, or a pet with a specific routine, I'll always follow your instructions carefully. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and receiving the same love and attention they'd get at home. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for pets throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m happy to offer walks, drop-ins, play dates and plenty of companionship and attention. I’ve had animals all my life and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’m also always ready for a doggy cappuccino treat and cuddle break! I provide a calm, safe and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets in someone else’s care and always make sure they feel comfortable, secure and well looked after. I follow owners’ routines carefully, including feeding, walking and medication instructions, and I’m happy to give regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

I am happy to follow instructions for your pet and any schedule they are used to in your own home and also happy to give them attention and cuddles when needed.
“Taryn has cared for our little sausage puppy like he was her own! Totally loved and cherished and spoiled with cuddles and affection. She gave us daily updates and checked in whenever necessary but also gave us space whilst away. She was very easy going with arrangements and has left our house absolutely spotless! Her thoughtful and considerate care has made our first experience leaving our pup behind very successful, thank you! Xx”

“Maria is a very experienced dog owner and an excellent host. Marley really enjoyed his stay as he benefited from the company of her dog Juno as well as long walks, twice daily. Maria has a very calm demeanour and a lovely way with dogs. Highly recommended.”

“Louise was great, my dog Chione took to her immediately. Booked at fairly last-minute, she was very accommodating both in terms of meet and greet and supporting my timings for a weekend booking. House was left clean and tidy. Will definitely be reaching out again for future sitting requirements!”

“Wicklow had a great day with Milla! She took him for 2 walks and they also had some nice playtime - a 5 month old pup’s dream day, I’m sure! 😅 Milla shared some photos during the sit and Wicklow seemed really calm & happy. Her communication was great & she also took the time to come for a meeting before the sit, which we really appreciated. Can highly recommend Milla & will definitely book her again.”

“Holly was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From our very first interaction, she made me feel completely confident and at ease leaving our dogs in her care. She kindly met with us twice beforehand, which meant a lot, especially since we have a nervous lab. Within minutes, it was clear she was calm, patient, and a perfect fit for him. While we were away, Holly kept us updated with photos and messages at just the right balance, which we really appreciated. It was obvious how happy and comfortable our dogs were with her. She took them on walks and truly took the time to get to know their personalities over the three days she stayed. We came home to three very happy dogs—who definitely missed Holly for days afterward! We would absolutely and enthusiastically recommend Holly to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and fantastic dog sitter. 🐾”

“Ellie looked after our 5 month old lab for an evening. First time we have used a dog sitter and got on with Willow really well, and even gave us a few pupdates throughout the night. We are so grateful and really recommend.”

We were fortunate to find Jemima at very short notice, and she was incredibly accommodating with our dates. From the outset, she was friendly, professional, and very easy to communicate with. She took excellent care of our two Labradors, and it was clear they were happy and well looked after while we were away. We particularly appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. When we returned home, the house was tidy and well cared for, and everything had been looked after responsibly. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jemima to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring dog sitter, and we would be delighted to have her stay again.

Lisa was a lovely cat sitter. The cats had obviously been really comfortable during her stay and were very relaxed when we came home. She kept us updated every day with pictures of the cats obviously enjoying themselves. She was very meticulous regarding the instructions that were given regarding the medication. I would definitely .

Rebecca did a great job with our dog while wr were away for a few days. He is large and pulls on walks and can br reactive but she was able to handle him confidently. She followed our instructions and kept us updated so we knew how he was doing. She also looked after the house really well. Would definitely recommend her and would use her again ourselves.
So happy we found Dom and the boys just love her, she was so caring and lovely with our Great Dane Luca who needed extra care with medication. It’s very clear she loves dogs very much, she has an amazing connection with them, we would highly recommend her! Can’t wait to use her again and I know the boys will be very happy too! :)

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Hart walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hart choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
