“We had been using the same sitter since my dog as a puppy, he’s now 11. So was rather anxious to leave our dog with someone new. Sally was so reassuring and confident that it put my mind at ease. He settled in well and I could relax knowing that he was being well looked after. Thank you Sally.”

“We have booked very -last minute holiday and we were desperate to find a home for our dog. We have found Ayee through the DoggBuddy. We have picked up our dog happy, clean and very well looked after. During our holiday Ayee was kind to send us some photos of our dog with short messages which was very nice. We are very happy with the way Ayee looked after our dog. We will definitely use her again and also we will highly recommend her to others. Thank you so much. Marze and Hugo”

“Nick took great care of Socs - and us! It was Socs first time away from home and we were very nervous, but Nick made sure we were kept informed and it was lovely to see him settling in. The meet and greet was really helpful and showed Nicks experience, it was particularly comforting to know that Nick had boarded Daschunds before. Thank you Nick 😊”

“We’re so grateful for Chriszl and her fam for taking care of Shaggy over the weekend. I’ve got constant updates on what’s going on with Shaggy as well, and we really appreciate it. Also, we’re happy that Shaggy gets to play with Twinkle too who’s lovely and energetic 🫶🏻”

“As usual Maisie had a wonderful time with Joel! He always gives me confidence that Maisie will be well taken care of , it’s clear how caring and attentive he is with dogs. He kept me updated while I was away, which gave me great peace of mind, and Maisie came home happy, relaxed, and clearly very well looked after. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend Joel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!”

“Our two hounds had a wonderful time with Casey, Callum & Tyson for their trial overnight stay. We were all made to feel very welcome and gorgeous Tyson is such a calming presence for new arrivals. Casey & Callum's garden is huge and we were glad to hear our girls settled in quickly. We're excited to have somewhere lovely for our hounds to have a holiday when we go away soon.”

“Hannah is very accommodating and will make you feel at ease leaving your fur baby with her for the first time. Mochi appeared happy when we picked her up. No concerns at all. We will surely book her again in the future.”

“Lovely location with a nice green area across the street. The dogs came back happy and healthy and seem to have enjoyed their stay, including nice walks exploring the local area!”

About: I've been taking care of animals for friends and families for years now. Its gotten to the point that I am the go-to whenever an animal needs company! I believe one of the main reasons why I am good at animal-minding is patience. Animals require a lot of attention at times and for a lot of people it can be quite draining or time-consuming, and being a self-employed artist, I've got a lot more available time than most. I am quite reserved so I have always got on better with animals than a lot of people I interact with so its always felt very easy and natural. I'm used to all kinds of dogs and cats, size, breed, attitudes, none have ever been an issue, even the older ones, who can be rather stubborn Overall, animals are great and taking care of them is a pleasure. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work Monday to Thursday, and I’m fully available for pet sitting and care on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays. I live in a quiet cottage on the outskirts of a small, picturesque village, with woodland and heathland directly behind the house, as well as a nearby common and orchard, which is all perfect for long, varied dog walks with plenty of space to explore. The cottage has a secure, fully enclosed back garden where dogs can safely roam and relax. Dogs are welcome inside the house and on the furniture, and pets are treated as part of the home rather than kept separate. For cats, there is a cat flap, so cats who are comfortable coming and going can do so freely. I’m very happy to accommodate both dogs and cats and provide a calm, relaxed, and attentive environment while you’re away. I care for pets as individuals and always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioural requirements. Safety and consistency are my top priorities. In my home, pets are supervised, kept in a calm and secure environment, and never left unattended in unsafe situations. My garden is fully enclosed, and walks are tailored to each dog’s energy level and recall ability. I avoid overcrowding and make sure pets have space to rest and feel settled. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’m respectful, reliable, and mindful of maintaining the pet’s normal routine and surroundings to minimise stress. I keep homes clean and secure and provide regular updates for peace of mind. I take trust seriously, both with animals and with people’s homes, and aim to create a safe, relaxed, and attentive environment wherever I’m caring for pets.
“Tyla was a perfect sitter for our puppy skylar, we were a bit anxious about going away and leaving her for the first time but Tyla provided us so many updates and told us exactly how she was getting on. Skylar has come back a very happy dog and from the videos and pictures she looked like she has had the best time!! Tyla and her Dad are lovely and we will 100% be rebooking with them. Thank you so much ☺️”

“I can't recommend Sarah and Saurabh highly enough for looking after our two dogs—a German Shepherd/Malinois female mix and a Jack Russell/Poodle mix—while we were on holiday. From the moment I met them, it was clear they were experienced and genuinely loved animals. Throughout our time away, they communicated regularly, providing just the right amount of updates. While I didn’t expect updates every second, I always felt reassured that our dogs were in the best hands. They treated them like their own, making sure their individual needs were met—from managing the energy of our larger dog to keeping our smaller one happy and comfortable. It’s never easy leaving your pets, but Sarah and Saurabh gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to fully enjoy our holiday. We returned to two very happy and well-cared-for dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again in the future!”

“Eleanor could not have done more to ensure a fantastic stay for Lisa, even collecting and dropping off to help me out. Lisa had a fantastic time with Custard, Peter (and the cat) and came back full of health and bounce. I could not rate Eleanor and family more highly.”

“Kelly was amazing when she looked after our Dog. She kept us updated daily with photos, videos & messages. It reassured us that he was being looked after and having a great time! Thank you so much Kelly, he had the best time with you and Mabel and we will absolutely book him with you again soon.”

“Im really please to have been able to book with Katharina, Luna seemed to enjoy her stay overnight. Katharina took really good care of Luna who managed to cut her leg a week before her stay. She sorted out Lunas medication, and was happy to deal with the agony of the cone of shame, so I am super grateful for the excellent care received this weekend. We will be very happy to use Katharina's services again! Thank you!”

“I'm very happy that I found Sarah, and she had time to visit Zosia last minute 🥰 We were going on short holidays and felt relieved when she was taking care of our Zozo. Our cat really liked her company and it was nice to see kitty's happy face on daily photos that Sarah sent. Would definitely recommend and will book in the future 😊”

“Sheila was a great help with our cat. She is amazingly flexible - we had to change the address for sitting and she was perfectly fine with it. She sent us loads of photos of our cat every visit and took really good care of him. Could not recommend her enough! We will be back!”

“Megan took SUCH good care of our boy (British Blue cat) whilst we were away on holiday - we love knowing there’s someone nearby we can trust to take good care of him when we go away again in future! Thanks so much Megan - highly recommend Megan to others looking for a reliable, friendly and trustworthy pet sitter”

“Kim looked after my two antisocial cats very well and even managed to get some pictures of them. She was very lovely and warm on our meet and greet and would absolutely recommend!”

“Rhea was amazing with Tabatha and Patches, she played with both of them and both cats seemed really relaxed when we got back home, Have booked more appointments with Rhea, the cats loved her visits”

“It was quite last minute that we asked Eleanor to pop in to a cat to feed him, however she was very responsive and we planned for her to come and meet him and us beforehand. She brought her husband and later her daughter along also, and they both seemed very friendly and understanding of caring for pets, as they have their own. We were updated every time she went in with comments and photos which was amazing! We will most definitely call on Eleanor again if we require some help! Thank you 😊”

“Lisa was a lovely cat sitter. The cats had obviously been really comfortable during her stay and were very relaxed when we came home. She kept us updated every day with pictures of the cats obviously enjoying themselves. She was very meticulous regarding the instructions that were given regarding the medication. I would definitely .”

“Stephanie was quite simply the best!! Considering we had accidentally locked our cat in the garden office and he was finally freed, very angry, and she dealt so well with him. Lots of messages throughout the week giving us updates & looked after Boodgy brilliantly! would definitely recommend Stephanie to look after your pets! We will book again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Catherine! From the moment she stepped through the door, she had the gentlest, most welcoming energy—and our pets felt it right away. Our two Birmans, Cosmo and Khaos, can be a little shy with new people, but Catherine’s calm, affectionate manner won them over instantly. Cosmo, who doesn’t warm up quickly, was in her arms cuddling and giving kisses like she’d known her forever! Gypsy, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, also loved her. Catherine went above and beyond during her visit—she sent us plenty of updates, photos, and videos (which we loved!), and it was clear she genuinely enjoyed being with the pets. She took the time to play with them, get down to their level, and offer them proper affection and attention—not just care, but real companionship. It’s such a relief knowing we’ve found someone we can completely trust with our little family. Catherine is not only responsible and reliable, but truly kind and intuitive with animals. We’ll absolutely be booking her again, and we feel so lucky to have found her. Highly recommend!”

“Melanie was absolutely lovely, really friendly and bubbly, came every day to spend time with our little girl and sent us a few pictures each time. When Sowwah wasn’t feeding well she also mentioned it to us so we would be aware. I’d definitely recommend Melanie as a great cat sitter!!”

“Emma was a lovely visitor for Mabel. She came to the house to meet Mabel and to see where food etc were kept. Emma is really friendly and Mabel loved her! She texted with pictures and updates. I can really recommend Emma as a sitter.”

“Ellie Is reliable, professional and punctual. My cats, who are often spooked by strangers and don't trust easily, liked her a lot. She's very sweet with them and precise in her communication with us pets parents. Recommended.”

“Really happy with Jessica for drop in visits for our cat while we were away. Lottie clearly took an instant liking to her. Great communication throughout the whole time. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve been around cats most of my life, having grown up with them and caring for a family cat when my eldest child was born until he was three years old and we moved over to the UK. I’m very comfortable with feeding, cleaning litter trays, keeping their space tidy, and spending time with them for play, company and cuddles. I understand how important routine and calm are for cats, especially when their owners are away.

“Michael is an absolutely amazing cat sitter! From first meeting , Monty took to him straight away and I knew he was in safe hands. Communications are excellent and I can see from the videos the genuine rapport and that Michael knows and understands cats. I can’t recommend him highly enough.”

“J C. has been fantastic, she asked to meet my dog Elvis to start with before having him for a full day, which put my mind at rest. My dog is not the easiest, due to age and being a bit of an old grump, but he had a great day. J kept me updated with pictures & info on how he was doing. Would recommend her.”

“Sophie was absolutely brilliant with Bruno! She took great care of him and kept us updated throughout, which gave us complete peace of mind. “Louise was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we met. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away at a wedding. She was also able to accommodate a long day of dog sitting without any issues. Lagertha was well looked after, fed, and taken for walks, and I came home to one very tired and happy pup! Thank you so much for taking such great care of her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Louise to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Philippa was fantastic looking after my dog, Gamba and I would recommend her 100%. She was great at communicating and sending us photos and updates during his stay. Gamba took to Philippa very quickly and seemed very comfortable with her and her very friendly dog. Will definitely be using her again 🙂”

About: We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog and Robert the hamster) I had two spaniels, a beautiful old boy who was 11 years (no longer with us) and a 1yr old boy. I have experience training and raising my senior dog from 16 weeks old. He became a Pets as Therapy dog and was adored at a local primary school. He was a wonderfully calm loving dog that was quite creaky by the end; so I understand the patience and gentle care that older dogs need (if you are worried about an older slower doggo being in someone else's care). I also have a furry ball of fun! I have had my youngest pup since he was 8 weeks and this has meant I have had to start all over again and recap all our past training! He will also train to become a therapy dog when he is older (wish me luck!). I have room for 1-2 dogs during the week. I work from home so I am in most of the day, every day. I walk the dogs straight after the morning school run around 9am and again pop out either before the 3pm pick up or just after (with children in tow). The dogs get attention whenever they potter up to me whilst I'm working , I enjoy the company! I am happy to accept any dog of any age that has a good temperament. I have two school aged children (6 + 8) who have grown up with dogs and understand how to respect and play with them. However, their safety (along with my dog and yours) is paramount. So if you have a reactive dog I'm afraid I won't be able to help you. The dogs have free reign of the downstairs of my house and the backdoor to the (fenced) garden is open in almost all weather (unless it is freezing or torrential!). My dog is crate trained so is also in and out throughout the day but is mostly asleep at my feet in the kitchen! I can also separate the dogs between the living room and kitchen if they need downtime from playing.
About: We are a friendly family with two children, aged 8 and 9. We love animals and being outdoors, and we are excited to take care of your pets together! We have a good garden and large field nearby, as well as nearby woodland for walks. We have two outdoor rabbits at the moment (self-contained, in a large shed and run) and have had experience looking after friend's dogs and cats for holidays. We are looking forward to providing a safe and loving family home for other animals. My husband Darby and I work mostly from home and we are available all day all week. Our weekends are flexible and usually spent at home. We have a clean and welcoming home, with space for pets to play and rest. We can follow routines as needed, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest, to help them feel at home. We'll prioritise safety, keeping an eye on them, making sure the environment is secure, and monitoring any changes in behaviour or health. Our garden is fenced and secure, and there are plenty of dog-friendly walks right from our front door.

About: I was brought up in a home with many pets including 2 dogs, cats and rabbits and mice, as such have always had a natural affinity and affection for all creatures great and small. I have a pet cat called Malibu who I have had for 4 years. I also have a pet snake and a pet lizard that I have had for 5 years. All are very well loved and cared for. I have been dog walking and dog sitting for friends from time to time over the past few years too. I am home based during the week days which allows me plenty of time to walk dogs in the local area. I am also available at weekends. I would consider dog boarding for dogs I am familiar with. I live right next to a park which is handy for dog walking. I have a fenced in garden at home. My home would be suitable for small to medium sized dogs or I would be available for home visits within the pet’s own home. I would also be available for dog sitting or dog walking.
About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, predominately dogs and horses! Dog boarding services include a daily 45 minute walk, regular toilet breaks and garden time. I am very passionate about my 4 legged friends and have dog sat/dog walked for many happy customers! I’ve had my own dog for 21 years and really enjoy long walks through the woods. I am here to keep your dog happy and exercised. I am available for dog boarding Monday to Sunday most weeks. We have a pet free home with a secure garden. Please note, we do have a young child so dogs must be good with kids but the most care will be taken to ensure they don’t physically contact one another for both our child and the dogs safety. I am currently working flexibly from home so I have plenty of time Monday to Friday to walk your dog when you might not have so much time! I can be flexible around your schedule, usually mid day and afternoons are available! I regularly walk in my local nature park and would love to take your 4 legged friend along! I can offer walks and drop offs.
“Charlotte is truly wonderful, and I couldn’t be happier leaving my dog Barney with her. I was nervous about leaving him at first because he can be ALOT, but Charlotte makes him feel super happy and comfortable.”

About: My years of loving and cherishing my own animals, 1 flat coat retriever, 1 Mainecoon and 1 Bengal makes very good experiences for potential sitting. I have recently retired, and spending time with animals has been an important part of my adult life. In my world, we fit in around them! My back gate goes directly onto common land, so very easy with ability to give lots of walks. I also have a big garden and a kennel for quiet times

“We are extremely happy with Mirranda, she is building up a lovely relationship with Coco and taking very good care of her. She is very gentle, kind and thoughtful. We are very lucky to have found her.”

About: I am a 70yrs young retired fit gentleman looking to fill spare time looking after pets which is something I love to do. We have had pets all our married life (44yrs) including many cats (4 together at one point), bearded dragon, guinea pig and mice, dealing with day to day cat trays and vet visits and giving medication. Over the past 3 yrs I have helped with looking after and training my son’s dog. Including house sitting while away on holidays. Additionally, their cat and 2 rabbits. I have also looked after neighbours pets including tortoises, fish and cats. I am confident that I could help train dogs in respect of walking if required. I am retired and live with my wife (Susan Stone)and we have a flexible schedule. Finding ourselves with free time we thought it would good to care for pets which is something we like to do. Our schedule is flexible as we both drive and are available. I am happy to follow instructions for your pet and any schedule they are used to in your own home and also happy to give them attention and cuddles when needed.
About: Since i was a baby I've grown up around many different kinds of animals, as well as being raised in a 4 cat, 1 dog household until i was 15. I dealt with high energy pets. I was also often left in charge of my cousins cocker spaniel, for long periods of time, where my requirements were to walk, feed a special diet, and play with for multiple hours in a day, sometimes more than a few days back to back. Over time i learned to adjust my care to suit my pets ages, my Yorkshire terrier has had asthma and a collapsed trachea for most of her life, i understand how to care for a dog with health issues along with cats, my senior 18 year old Bengal has many of her own health issues and needs special accommodation for her separation anxiety and dietary requirements. I am well versed on giving medications in various forms, and I'm not afraid to provide these to bigger dogs. Along with this, i have previously helped my own sister with her professional dog sitting for the past year when she's needed extra support for bigger dogs or fuller households, though i am able to manage this task on my own too. I currently don't work, so my schedule is completely open, and I'm more than happy to dedicate as much time as you need to accommodate your pets! Anything that may take a lot of time in a week is the perfect fit for me, i love spending time getting to know and understand your animals. I have a very private garden that backs onto other gardens, separated by a fence, and fitted for all dogs. I have fake grass which highly reduces the chance of ticks especially at this time of year, and it is located in a quiet neighborhood with no noisy traffic or noise during the day or especially at night. I have a larger open house, big enough for larger dogs to roam around and explore! My neighborhood is quiet and rather large, with many various places to walk dogs.
“Thanks so much, Grant, for stepping in to walk Wally at such short notice. He’s absolutely worn out now and has been napping ever since you brought him back—great job! Really appreciate your help.”

About: Hello! My name is Louise and I am animal obsessed and have been for my entire life. I have pet sat since early teens and have 3 separate animal based qualifications. I am currently running a small educational animal sanctuary and a dog grooming parlour. I also compete at flyball with our own dogs. I have years of experience working with animals doing things such as pet sitting, walking and training among many other things. We have 3 children who also adore animals and are turing into great little helpers and trainers in their own right. Animals in our care are looked after as our own and really become part of the family. We love taking any dogs in our care with us on day trips and some even enjoy coming camping with us in the caravan when we go to dog events. A little holiday of their own! Most of the income we make from pet sitting goes straight back into our animal sanctuary to help us care for our rescues, so its all for a good cause! Your dog will become part of the family, joining us for animal sanctuary duties, dog walks, going to the grooming room and more. They can join us at flyball in the caravan where they will be utterly spoilt. We are happy to care for a wide range of animals and have knowledge from dogs to guineapigs, to parrots and snakes we do it all. We work with the animals and their personalities having cared for very nervous and reactive dogs to the cuddliest rabbits you have ever met. We work with them all and my knowledge and qualifications in animal behaviour are invaluable!

Thank you!”

“Thanks to Lauren, Matt and Paisley for such a positive experience for Dex. He clearly had a lovely time and felt settled with them in their home and out & about in the woods. . We received lots of lovely photos and updates throughout his stay. Will defo be booking him in again.”

“Jess had a lovely time staying with Eve and Ryan. They treated her as their own, with lots of fuss and cuddles and made sure they kept to her routine. Their home and garden is beautiful and completely safe for dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to look after your dog”

“Jason was absolutely brilliant at looking after our two dogs for the day. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcome, inviting us into his home and taking the time to let the dogs settle in at their own pace. It was clear from the outset that he is a true animal lover; attentive, warm and wonderfully friendly. The sure sign of a great day? Both dogs came home and fell fast asleep! We couldn't have asked for better care and would not hesitate to recommend Jason to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter.”

“Ralph had a lovely overnight stay with Marta and her lovely children. We were given regular updates on how Ralph was settling in and he had a great time and was well looked after. He was really relaxed when we collected him. We’re booked in again for a week stay next time and I know Ralph will be spoiled!”
