About: I am a 70yrs young retired fit gentleman looking to fill spare time looking after pets which is something I love to do. We have had pets all our married life (44yrs) including many cats (4 together at one point), bearded dragon, guinea pig and mice, dealing with day to day cat trays and vet visits and giving medication. Over the past 3 yrs I have helped with looking after and training my son’s dog. Including house sitting while away on holidays. Additionally, their cat and 2 rabbits. I have also looked after neighbours pets including tortoises, fish and cats. I am confident that I could help train dogs in respect of walking if required. I am retired and live with my wife (Susan Stone)and we have a flexible schedule. Finding ourselves with free time we thought it would good to care for pets which is something we like to do. Our schedule is flexible as we both drive and are available. I am happy to follow instructions for your pet and any schedule they are used to in your own home and also happy to give them attention and cuddles when needed.

“It was quite last minute that we asked Eleanor to pop in to a cat to feed him, however she was very responsive and we planned for her to come and meet him and us beforehand. She brought her husband and later her daughter along also, and they both seemed very friendly and understanding of caring for pets, as they have their own. About: Hello! My name is Louise and I am animal obsessed and have been for my entire life. I have pet sat since early teens and have 3 separate animal based qualifications. I am currently running a small educational animal sanctuary and a dog grooming parlour. I also compete at flyball with our own dogs. I have years of experience working with animals doing things such as pet sitting, walking and training among many other things. We have 3 children who also adore animals and are turing into great little helpers and trainers in their own right. Animals in our care are looked after as our own and really become part of the family. We love taking any dogs in our care with us on day trips and some even enjoy coming camping with us in the caravan when we go to dog events. A little holiday of their own! Most of the income we make from pet sitting goes straight back into our animal sanctuary to help us care for our rescues, so its all for a good cause! Your dog will become part of the family, joining us for animal sanctuary duties, dog walks, going to the grooming room and more. They can join us at flyball in the caravan where they will be utterly spoilt. We are happy to care for a wide range of animals and have knowledge from dogs to guineapigs, to parrots and snakes we do it all. We work with the animals and their personalities having cared for very nervous and reactive dogs to the cuddliest rabbits you have ever met. We work with them all and my knowledge and qualifications in animal behaviour are invaluable!

About: We have had Jet our Weimaraner for 6 years and know the importance of having a safe and secure boarding home when away. I’ve had Jet since she was a puppy and Dan has had dogs all of his life. I’ve also looked after multiple dogs for my friends ranging from terriers through to German Shepherds and Pointers. Jet loves having extra friends to play with and we want to be able to give back to the Rover community who have been great for us. Your pup will be treated like one of our own during their stay. Dan works in a shift pattern and I’m home every weekend therefore we will be in all day during their stay. We offer long countryside walks, lots of cuddles and daily updates. Your pup will be kept company by Jet and will have a fenced garden to play in when it’s sunny and a sofa to snuggle on when it’s rainy and when not out on walks. We have a crate available if that is needed for any continuity of training.

About: I rescued my Romanian street dog, Skyler, 9 years ago, and since then we've shared countless adventures together - including over 10,145 miles of walk as of July 2026! We love exploring the outdoors and I've built up a collection of 25+ walking routes within a 20 mile radius, giving my dog and others plenty of variety, enrichment, and opportunities to enjoy new sights and smells. Living with Skyler, who is naturally sensitive and cautious, has given me extensive experience caring for nervous, shy, and more reserved dogs. I understand the importance of patience, building trust at the dog's own pace, and creating a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I have also cared for family dogs, giving me experience with a range of personalities and needs. Alongside my hands-on experience, I have a career in veterinary pathology, which has given me a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour, and recognising when something may be out of the ordinary. I'm also a keen photographer in my spare time, so I love capturing beautiful moments and can provide owners with high-quality photos of their dogs enjoying their time with me. I work full time during the week, so I am available for pet car primarily on weekday evenings and throughout the weekends. I offer drop-in visits and dog walking during those times, and I can also provide house sitting services from Friday through Sunday. I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care and making sure each pet gets the time, exercise and attention they need within my availability. I focus on keeping pets comfortable and maintaining their normal routines while their owners are away. About: I’ve been looking after dogs for 2 years now, for periods of up to 3 weeks. Owners, friends and family have trusted me to take good care of their furry friends and I always love helping them out, as well as providing lots of affection and play time to keep them happy. Although I work full-time, I’m an early riser, so any dogs that need their exercise will be up and out with me before I go to work. My office is also dog-friendly, so I can even take them with me if needed! I’m usually home in the evenings on weekdays and can even take them for a second walk, and host them on weekends. I have a private and fenced garden to give your pet fresh air and a safe area to play in when at home. We also live close to a very large park where we’ve taken dogs previously - a great place for them to run around and socualise.
