About: I live in Witley with my beautiful greyhound. I can provide both regular and ad hoc walks and drop ins for dogs and cats. I have experience of looking after and walking elderly dogs. I have cat care experience including of elderly cats (my lovely moggie lived to age 20). I am experienced with nervous animals. I don’t charge extra for peak times - my pricing is the same all year round so my fee is the same whenever you book me. I’m pet first aid trained and I have pet sitter insurance (£2,000,000 Public Liability) for your peace of mind (certificates available on request). I work flexibly from home for a national charity and am trustworthy and reliable. I began pet sitting in 2025 to enjoy time with more animals and love it! I also enjoy pet care as it gets me out of the house and gives me a bit of variety in my day. It balances very well with my other commitments and has brought me a lot of happiness as I get such lovely welcomes from the regular dogs and *cats I visit. *Cat drop ins are carried out between the hours of 5-8pm rather than a fixed time (unless your cat requires medication at a specific time) I will make sure that I gain your pets trust and understand what they enjoy and need. I will ensure that your pet is fed, toileted and left calm and happy after my visit. I will carry out your exact instructions and provide photos as I understand how nerve racking leaving pets behind can be.
About: I have been an experienced volunteer dog walker with The Cinnamon Trust for nearly 15 years and during that time have had long-term commitments with five local dogs and their owners, walking most weekends and some evenings. I also regularly dog-sit for my family and friends with a variety of different breeds and ages, including puppies. I also currently have two rescue cats and have experience in administering medication and grooming long hair. Over the years I have had many cats, including kittens and the most I have looked after at one time is three. I regularly look after our neighbour's house while they are away. I am also a homeowner so would take the responsibility of looking after someone else's home very seriously, including jobs that need doing like watering plants, taking out the bins and tidying up after myself. I don't have any children so have limited regular weekend commitments and can be flexible during the week as I work from home a few days a week. I have my own car. I would want your pet(s) to feel as happy and comfortable as possible while I'm with them so would only accept a booking if I could ensure that I can keep to their routine and carry out the owner's wishes fully. I cannot have pets at my home as my two cats would not take kindly to any visitors but am happy to stay over in a pet owner's home, carry out drop-ins and do as many dog walks as needed in terms of frequency and length - I know the local area very well and really enjoy getting out in nature with a four-legged friend!
About: I've had dogs in my life since I was born and currently have 3 Vizslas and am a KC approved breeder too, so am more than comfortable with puppies too. I have a few small businesses that I run from home & home educate my teenage son so I have time to fit in pet care with my routine I'm more than happy to pop in and feed /play etc with your pet while you're away or out, take it for a walk if necessary (depending on the type of pet!). I'm comfortable with most pets and if I were to agree to pet sit during the day or overnight at my own home, I have a large fenced garden with plenty of space and my pets to keep yours company
About: I have been walking dogs for neighbours and friends for 10 years. My family also fosters dogs, so I have a wide range of experience with different ages and breads. While I am at uni I would love to help with dog walking in the local area and to be able to enjoy animals while away from home. I have a flexible schedule and can help most days and most times to fit around your own schedule. Any questions please ask! I am available almost everyday except for wednesday afternoons as I am currently in the uni exam period. I am happy to work around any commitments i may have to provide flexible dog walking when needed. I do not offer dog sitting as I am in student accommodation that doesn’t allow it. For dog walking I will keep dogs on leads wherever possible to avoid potential conflict, unless dogs are very well trained and I know they will come back when I call or on command. I keep emergency treats on hand as well and will not hesitate to call should anything arise that I can’t handle alone.
“Romilly was brilliant with our new Puppy Poppy and with our older dog Sadie too. She did two visits during the day and communication was superb with lots of updates for both visits. I highly recommend Romilly and will definitely ask her to look after our dogs again.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a pet-loving home taught me early on how to care for a wide range of animals with patience, love, and attention to detail. I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with both cats and dogs - including Tabbies, Maine Coons, Labradors, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Spaniels - giving me a strong foundation in understanding different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. Whether it’s energetic walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, or simply making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away, I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience and genuine care to every animal I look after. I know how important your pets are to you - because mine mean the world to me too! I first joined Rover during a career break, but house sitting and drop-in visits / walks have always been a part of my life alongside my professional career in financial services. I’ve recently returned to the industry in a fully remote role, which gives me the flexibility to always be present for the care of your pets. When caring for animals in someone else’s home, I understand the deep level of trust that’s involved - not just with your pet, but with your personal space too. I treat every home with the utmost respect and ensure a calm, secure, and familiar environment for your pet to feel comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority. From sticking to their usual routines to providing plenty of love, play, and attention, I work to create an stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I’m reliable, discreet, and fully committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and caring atmosphere - just as I would in my own home.

“Louise is an absolute gem. She looked after our house rabbit Perry and was so flexible when our travel plans kept changing. She came for a intro prior to booking so I felt at ease. Louise shared some fab photos and we returned home to a very happy healthy boy. Would have her back in a heartbeat!”

“Astrid is very reliable and caring. She sent me photos and videos regularly, along with brief updates on how my dog was doing, so I never had to worry. One of the videos showed them playing ball, and I could see how relaxed and happy my dog was, truly enjoying her company. My dog can be a bit nervous, but he trusted Astrid quickly, which made me feel completely at ease. I was able to enjoy my holiday totally relaxed, knowing Astrid was taking great care of my dog. Highly recommended!”

“We were very happy with Megan's drop ins visits to look after our cat. She is very reliable and responsible, easy to communicate with. It has been a pleasure dealing with her. She is friendly and caring. We appreciated her daily updates and photos of Casper. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”

About: Hi, I’m Amelia! I’ve grown up with dogs and have been dog sitting for friends, family and neighbours for several years, both while studying at university in Southampton and now back home for the summer. I currently have a Springer Spaniel and two Romanian rescue dogs, so I’m used to everything from high-energy adventure dogs to those who need a little more patience and understanding. I also attend training classes and do agility with my Springer, which has given me a good understanding of dog behaviour and positive reinforcement training. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and routines. Whether that’s long walks, playing fetch, practising training exercises or simply keeping them company at home. I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure you receive regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away without worrying. I’m currently home from university for the summer, which means I have plenty of flexibility and availability for pet care. My schedule is fairly open, including weekends, and I’m happy to accommodate regular bookings or last-minute requests where possible. Feel free to get in touch and we can discuss what works best for you and your pet. I treat every pet as an individual and take the time to get to know their routine, personality and preferences. Whether they love long walks, playing in the garden or simply having someone nearby, I aim to make sure they feel relaxed and comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any instructions closely, keep up with routines and provide regular updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in safe hands.

Waverley cat owners share their Rover experiences
Lauren took such great care of Boris while we were away. He was upset at being left for so long, but Lauren was wonderfully patient with him. She kept me updated daily with photos and messages, and she always cleaned up after him when he sprayed, even using calming spray to help him feel more comfortable. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was there for him. I’m so grateful for her care and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and reliable sitter.
