Andy went above and beyond to help make Pippin (and us!) feel happy and comfortable. A nervous pooch, Andy and Kadie were patient and kind and we really appreciated the effort they put in to make Pippin feel at home. She left after a full day booking, a very happy and well looked after puppy. We've already booked our next sitting and are over the moon to have found such a lovely couple to look after our pup!

About: Hello! I’m a passionate dog lover who understands just how much our pets mean to us. Last year I sadly lost my beloved Cane Corso, who was a huge part of our family. While I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog permanently just yet, I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other dogs until the time feels right to rescue again.
I have experience caring for large breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will treat them as if they were their own, and that’s exactly the level of care and attention I provide.
I live in a loving family home with my 2-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is extremely dog-savvy, gentle, and respectful of animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do ask that any dogs staying with us have had some previous positive interaction with children and are comfortable being around them. We enjoy long dog walks in the woods on a weekend together. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that involves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply lots of companionship. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to learn about their individual needs and preferences.
For the health and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated dogs. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and well looked after.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am a stay-at-home mum, which means I am home for the majority of the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision, and attention to the dogs in my care. Most of our days are spent at home or in the garden, giving dogs lots of opportunities to play, relax, and be part of family life. My son and I attend a class on Monday mornings and another on Saturday mornings, but we are rarely away from home for more than an hour at a time. Outside of that, we spend most of our time at home. If we do pop out for a coffee, walk, or family outing, I am happy to bring dogs along where appropriate and if they enjoy being out and about. This means your dog will receive lots of companionship throughout the day and will never be left alone for extended periods. I provide a safe, loving family environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our home has a secure enclosed garden, and dogs will have access to plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, rest, and affection throughout the day. Having previously owned a Cane Corso, I am experienced with large breeds and understand the importance of routine, consistency, and positive handling. Following the loss of my beloved dog, I have chosen to open my home to other dogs while I take time before rescuing again. I have a gentle and dog-savvy 2-year-old son who has grown up around dogs and understands how to interact with them respectfully. For this reason, I ask that dogs staying with us have had some previous positive experience with children and are comfortable in a family home environment. I only accept vaccinated dogs and will always follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special requirements. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while your dog is in my care.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have always had them in my family home. Caring for them has been a big part of my life, and I’ve always loved taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they’re happy and well looked after. Since moving out, I’ve regularly looked after my family’s two Shih-Poos, either by house sitting or having them to stay in our home. My partner and I also frequently care for their family’s dogs, including a senior Spaniel and a Spaniel puppy, so we’re experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and needs. We have our own dog, who we’ve had since she was a puppy, so we’ve spent a lot of time training and socialising her. We recently moved to a home with a larger garden and beautiful nearby walking routes, as spending time outdoors with our dog is one of our favourite things to do. Your dog will be treated like part of the family and given plenty of love, attention, and exercise while they’re with us. I work full-time, Monday to Friday, and work from home every day. My partner also works from home with me at least three days a week, so there’s always someone at home for the majority of the day. At weekends, we enjoy getting out and about, but we typically choose dog-friendly activities so our dog can come along with us. We always walk our dog at least 1-2 times per day, depending on the weather and schedules. We have a fully fenced, secure garden where they can play safely, as well as our dog to keep them company if they enjoy being around other dogs. We’re happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine and can provide space for a crate if that’s what they’re most comfortable with. If we need to leave the house for a short period, the dogs stay in our spacious kitchen/dining area. We also have a Ring camera so we can keep an eye on them while we’re away. If your dog prefers their own space, we’re able to keep our dog in a separate area of the house.

About: Thank you for checking out my profile! I'm Clare, a caring, reliable and very experienced pet owner (and lover of animals of all shapes and sizes), and I'd love to help with looking after your furry or feathered friends while you're away. I've had animals my whole life and love giving them the best car, including plenty of cuddles. I've always had dogs as pets, but also cared for different types of dogs including foster dogs with a range of temperaments and issues, reactive dogs and working dogs. This has included training puppies. I also grew up with cats and have had a number of other pets that have been a big part of the family, including chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits (both house and outdoor buns), guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, tropical fish, budgies, and even mice once upon a time - an underrated pet! I completely understand how it feels to leave your pet in the care of a stranger, and will work with you to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible, with frequent updates and check ins as often as you'd like. I am currently on maternity leave and as well as my baby, have an almost 3 year old who is extremely gentle with (and enamoured by!) animals, and a very capable assistant putter-down of food bowls and provider of treats. I'm currently on maternity leave, so have plenty of time to play and snuggle with your pets! I drop my eldest at nursery at 8am and then my parents can look after the baby while I pop in at any time of day. I can feed, walk, top up water, do a little grooming - whatever your furry friend needs! We can chat about what you'd like me to do with your pet aand I'm more than happy to accommodate their needs, whether that be for playtime, meals, a leg stretch, or just some cuddles. I can easily crate pets if needed or let them out for some fresh air while keeping a close eye on them. With dog walking, I have experience of dogs that are strong on the lead and those that are reactive. I'll always give lots of updates on how your pet is doing, and send plenty of pics as I'm sure you'll be missing them!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I had a long break without having a dog and now I have a Labrador puppy called Spud, still I have a surplus of dog care to give away. I’ve a few years experience sitting and walking for an adorable, characterful parsons terrier who has been keeping me on my toes. I currently work from home at least twice a week normally on Mondays and Fridays but can be flexible. I am also free on weekends. I live close to multiple parks, including Sevenoaks Vine and Hollybush park which are great and safe for play time. For longer walks I also have Knole park round the corner.

There are 4,368 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Waverley. About 87% of Waverley sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Waverley commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
