About: Hello! I’m a passionate dog lover who understands just how much our pets mean to us. Last year I sadly lost my beloved Cane Corso, who was a huge part of our family. While I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog permanently just yet, I would love the opportunity to care for and spend time with other dogs until the time feels right to rescue again. I have experience caring for large breeds as well as dogs with different personalities and needs. I know how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will treat them as if they were their own, and that’s exactly the level of care and attention I provide. I live in a loving family home with my 2-year-old son, who has grown up around dogs and is extremely dog-savvy, gentle, and respectful of animals. For everyone’s safety and comfort, I do ask that any dogs staying with us have had some previous positive interaction with children and are comfortable being around them. We enjoy long dog walks in the woods on a weekend together. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, whether that involves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa, medication, or simply lots of companionship. I understand that every dog is different and will always take the time to learn about their individual needs and preferences. For the health and wellbeing of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated dogs. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout your dog’s stay so you can relax knowing they are safe, happy, and well looked after. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I am a stay-at-home mum, which means I am home for the majority of the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision, and attention to the dogs in my care. Most of our days are spent at home or in the garden, giving dogs lots of opportunities to play, relax, and be part of family life. My son and I attend a class on Monday mornings and another on Saturday mornings, but we are rarely away from home for more than an hour at a time. Outside of that, we spend most of our time at home. If we do pop out for a coffee, walk, or family outing, I am happy to bring dogs along where appropriate and if they enjoy being out and about. This means your dog will receive lots of companionship throughout the day and will never be left alone for extended periods. I provide a safe, loving family environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. Our home has a secure enclosed garden, and dogs will have access to plenty of supervised playtime, exercise, rest, and affection throughout the day. Having previously owned a Cane Corso, I am experienced with large breeds and understand the importance of routine, consistency, and positive handling. Following the loss of my beloved dog, I have chosen to open my home to other dogs while I take time before rescuing again. I have a gentle and dog-savvy 2-year-old son who has grown up around dogs and understands how to interact with them respectfully. For this reason, I ask that dogs staying with us have had some previous positive experience with children and are comfortable in a family home environment. I only accept vaccinated dogs and will always follow owners’ instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, sleeping arrangements, and any special requirements. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind while your dog is in my care.
About: We have a 1.5 year old dog who would love some doggy company, he is a well trained and very friendly cocker spaniel called Gus Between myself and Jack there is always someone at home as we both have flexible working arrangements. We take Gus out for two walks a day and have a garden too, so having another dog would slot in well to our routine. We have a fenced garden which is perfect for outside playing - it is secure with part patio, part grass. Indoors we have a stair gate to block off the upstairs but are happy for the dogs to be anywhere in the house with us - wherever they are comfortable!
“Zola has been so well looked after. She loves being with Andrea, Tamas and the big gentle giant Archie. She’s so excited to get in ever day and comes back shattered… which is brilliant 🤩”

“Laura was great and very patient as Loki is a bit of a monkey to begin with but she understood straight away when i explained things..... the photos soon came of Loki walking happily alongside her own dog. Would defiantly use again should i be in the area.”

“Jenny took amazing care of our puppy and we felt completely at ease. She’s incredibly friendly, communicative, and clearly loves dogs. We would absolutely book with Jenny again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. 🐶✨”

About: Hello, my name is Annie and I am 29 years old. Animals have always been my passion having been brought up around them all my life. I trained at Merrist Wood College for 2 years and gained my qualifications in the level 3 extended diploma in Animal Management. I have years of experience with animal care and with this I am hoping to build a lovely client base for dog sitting and walking in Bordon and the surrounding areas. I am available Friday afternoons 3 onwards, Monday mornings and weekends. I am happy to offer dog walks whilst pet sitting also! I also hold a canine first aid diploma. If you would like me to be your regular pet sitter then pop me a message for a chat. I currently work Tuesday - Thursday 8.30am until 3.30pm. I can still house sit on these days but I would only be able to pop home once in the day to let them out for a run (if it is fairly local). I can offer doggy day care also. I can still do drop in visits or dog walks Tuesday - Thursday anytime after 3.30. Friday - Monday I am available for house sits and also any drop ins or dog walks. Pets are part of the family and as so, should be treated like one. I will offer one to one attention with your pets in your home to help build a bond. Your pet will be left in safe hands with me and will be loved like my own. I’m always happy to answer any queries you might have and I’m also happy to follow instructions if left for me for your pet.
“Anna took such good care of our dog Fig. It was our first time leaving her with a sitter and Anna ensure to share updates throughout the day, as well as pictures. This helped us feel re assured and trusted that Fig was in good care. We'd love to use Anna again for future day care.”

“Beth took excellent care of Baxter, from a positive and very friendly meet to a full day of doggy daycare. Beth has outstanding grounds for dogs to run around and be themselves. We will be using Beth again the future.”

About: I've worked professionally with animals (competition horses) since my teens & always had big dogs myself from German shepherds to mountain dogs. I'm calm & professional & the space has a lovely garden. I don't have my own pets currently or any children so your pet really will get undivided attention. I work for myself so can be flexible & at home when I have sits. I'm happy to have dogs 1:1 or if you're going away with family/friends & want your pups that already know each other to stay together, I am happy to cater this. I'm confident tailoring needs for old or injured/rehabing dogs, & am also an active runner - so if you have one that needs extra stimulation, I am happy taking them for canicross fun too. I work for myself so can base at home as much as needed around dog sits. Occasionally, I look after horses so if suitable the dog can join me for a fun half day outside. I am active so will take the dog fun places to explore if they are happy to travel & if they like to run they can join me for some extra exercise. I teach yoga 2 evenings a week locally meaning the dog/dogs would need to be ok left for 1.5hours. With my own dogs I've always taken them everywhere with me & have a dog-friendly friendship group so I am happy taking your pup for social walks & pub visits too (when appropriate for the dog). I have a fenced garden. I let the dogs in all the rooms so they can be with my while I work. I tend not to let them on furniture but if it is something they are used to, I can put some dog towels on the sofa for them to settle.
“Ellie was brilliant with our Jack Russell and they clearly got on really well - at the end of the day he was really reluctant to leave and kept looking back over his shoulder for her! She kept us up to date with how the day was going and sent pictures. We'd be happy to book with her again! 10/10 would recommend.”

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
