About: I’ve taken care of Dogs and Cats since a young age, grew up with 2 dogs and 2 cats and looked after many neighbors dogs and cats while they were away. I am currently working fully remotely so would be able to take care of your furry friends while you are at work during the day. I have an enclosed garden with lots of space to throw a ball or toy. My garden is enclosed with enough space for dogs to round around and do their business and have some fun with a ball or toy.
“Shuj was absolutely wonderful with our pet Bambi. She was very welcoming at the meet up just before leaving her and her daughter was very excited which made us feel at ease. Bambi was happy and although she is a Barky Dog she told us Bambi was fine and hardly barked. Thanks so much!”

“She was really great with Zorro. I left him with Binal daily for daycare for a week. I cannot thank her enough for teaching him some good manners, taking him on regular walks and posting pics and videos every now and then. I can always be confident to leave Zorro with her. I know he will enjoy his time there. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter. THANK YOU Binal!”

“Another day, another amazing stay for Diesel with Charlie. This time I required Charlie to have Diesel only for the evening. Regular updates, photos and videos and even a trip to the pub after I suggested the idea 🍻 Highly recommend Charlie for peace of mind and someone you can trust to look after your pet like it his own.”

“Annie was great. It was the first sit with our young puppy. Annie kindly took the time to meet in advance to make sure our puppy would get on with her dog, and to get to know us all and vice versa. The sit went really well, we got some lovely photos and we had a very happy and tired pup at the end of the day! She had clearly been well looked after and had had a lot of fun.”

About: I will bring a personalized touch to every pet I care for. During our walks, I engage in playful interactions and fun activities with the dogs, ensuring that each outing becomes a source of joy and mental stimulation. I also pay attension to safety of our furry friends - whether handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments or monitoring their wellbeing. My love for pets comes through in every interaction, fostering a sense of trust and security between me and my four-legged friends. Pet owners can always rely on my consistent and reliable service, knowing that their beloved companions are in caring and capable hands. I am currently available during the day on weekdays and have some flexibility with other times too. I am available for walks during this time and boarding can be arranged seperately. I provide attentive and personalized care for pets both in my home and at the owner's residence. Whether it's in my cozy environment or theirs, I prioritise safety and maintain their familiar routines, including feeding and exercise schedules. With a love for animals, I ensure pets receive ample affection, playtime, and attention during their stay. Pet owners trust me not only with their beloved companions but also with their house keys, knowing I am reliable and respectful in caring for their homes. Regular communication with owners and a keen eye on the pet's well-being make for a nurturing and trustworthy pet care experience.
“We were lucky to find Sara. Mabel, our cavapoo, is socially anxious and a total diva but judging from the pictures and videos that Sara kindly shared with us, she enjoyed her day and felt settled. We wouldn't hesitate to book again with Sara - in fact, we already have!”

“Emily-Rose took great care of Bruce, was very welcoming and gave loads of updates through the day! He had a great day playing with her dog Luna - nice tired boy coming home!”

About: I offer a calm, home-friendly, dog-loving environment where your pup is treated like family. Based in Guildford, I take dogs on long daily walks through the stunning local nature — forests, riversides, and open green trails. Your dog gets proper exercise, fresh air, and a relaxed, comforting home atmosphere to return to. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day — regular walks, playtime, feeding, and quiet rest. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I offer a peaceful home environment where dogs can settle comfortably. No crates unless requested, no chaos, no stress — just a stable, welcoming space. I only take a limited number of dogs to ensure personalised attention and safe supervision at all times. I make sure their routines, boundaries, and comfort zones stay exactly as you prefer. Your dog’s wellbeing always comes first.
“Supti was really lovely and Wilbur had a great time! He's very tired and sleepy now which is great, he's been very well taken care off! Made me feel a lot better leaving him knowing he had a great time! Thank you for the photos, they are so lovely!”

“Cristina was fantastic looking after our Pup loki. She kept us informed with pictures and updates. He looked like he was having a blast! It was also very hot but she kept him cool and understood the restrictions. Highly recommended.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats most my life and my family just loves having pets around. It will be myself taking care of your pet and I can’t wait to meet them :) I work from home and so am home all day and would usually go for the walks in the morning and sometimes the afternoon too, if your pet requires 2 walks, please let me know, I have a fenced off back yard and a lot of space in the house. I can crate your dog if needed (please provide the crate), or he/she can have full roam of the house. My dog gets on very well with other dogs, he is a neutered golden retriever.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and have owned pets myself. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and understand the importance of patience, routine and making pets feel safe and comfortable. I also have experience working in childcare, which has strengthened my responsibility, attentiveness and ability to provide a caring environment. I will treat your pets as if they were my own and make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for while you are away. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals and can provide plenty of attention, playtime and companionship. I will always do my best to accommodate booking requests and keep pet owners updated with messages and photos. I live in a clean and calm one-bedroom flat in Guildford with my husband. We have access to a shared garden within our apartment complex, providing a pleasant outdoor space nearby. I do not have any pets of my own, so your pet will receive my full attention during their stay. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise and daily routines. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and caring environment where pets can feel relaxed, secure and well looked after.
“Rebecca truly saved us by stepping in at the last minute. She was incredibly kind and gentle with Dash, and her constant communication gave us real peace of mind. Dash seemed to really enjoy his time with her. We’re very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her!”

“Thank you for looking after our Toki. Agnieszka was very accommodating and gave Toki lots of love and attention. We loved receiving regular doggy updates and would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter. Thanks again. Tabs and Jack”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog and friends dogs’ for the last 7 years. They’ll be looked after like they are my own with lots of walks and cuddles. We have a very large garden that they can play in between walks and quiet places in our house. Unfortunately, due to allergies I can only look after hypoallergenic dogs in the house. I have plenty of time to play and walk your dog, as I rarely work and my husband is retired so always around. We have a lot of varied walks that we do in the Surrey hills and surrounding areas. I have a safe and fenced garden and 1 dog of my own, so your dog will have a playmate. Indoors we have enough rooms to ensure that your dog can have quiet times if that is what they require.

Mikaela looked after our puppy on two occasions for the day. She took care of him and our house whilst we were away from home for the day. She came to meet us beforehand and on both days Jasper was happy and content when we got home. We would happily use Mikaela again.

Rhea and Andy have been great - accommodating us at short notice and making the time for a pre-meet as it was Chewie’s first time with them. They kept me posted throughout the care session - which was very reassuring. And Chewi appeared relaxed and happy on collection. I woild be glad to rebook them. Thank you again Rhea and Andy.

Our pup Echo had a great time with Emily-Rose! She was well looked after and we got loads of photos to see what a great time Echo had with Nala. They are super prompt in communicating and have been very flexible with pick up and drop off timings. Would highly recommend!

booked a short walk as a way to meet the sitter before leaving my dog for a full day, and I honestly couldn’t have had a better first experience. Estheffany was absolutely lovely, so warm, kind, and clearly very experienced with animals. My dog connected with her straight away, which instantly put me at ease. You can tell she genuinely cares, and that level of trust is priceless especially when is the first time using the app and the first time leaving my dog with someone else. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and feel completely confident leaving my dog in her care for longer periods.

Cathy has had two lovely stays with Will and Frederica this week. She must have enjoyed the first stay, as she dragged us up the steps to the front door the second time! Will and Frederica paid attention to all the instructions that we provided and catered brilliantly to Cathy's needs. We would happily book again - thank you!

Rebecca truly saved us by stepping in at the last minute. She was incredibly kind and gentle with Dash, and her constant communication gave us real peace of mind. Dash seemed to really enjoy his time with her. We’re very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Guildford commute.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
