I work from home with plenty of time to be attentive with pets and keep them active. My schedule is flexible and I’m very happy to work around the dog and give them the activity and attention they need. Weekends are centred around the pet, with walks and lots of attention. I’m also able to carry on any training you are giving your dog and can teach new tricks!

Fenced-in garden and plenty of attention to spoil your pet with! Can follow dogs own schedule so they’re comfortable and happy. I live near a large field and can offer activity and exercise for dogs as they need. I’m an active person and can set the pace depending in what the dog needs is, allowing plenty if time for sniffing and enrichment. I have experience with senior dogs as well as younger pups and can make sure their training schedule is being followed and that they get plenty of love and attention. I’ve has experience if working in a recuse kennel and am comfortable administering medication and am very attentive to what the dog needs.

A typical day
I always start off with a walk to help get the dog comfortable. I give them plenty of time to sniff around the house and explore so tha they get a good feel of where they are. Depending in the dogs energy and needs I often do puzzles or enrichment games to get them thinking. I can also teach them new tricks! I also make sure they have the time to nap and just lie around and get attention. Meal times will of course be followed as instructed by you.

Plenty of experience with dogs, including volunteer experience as a trainee vet nurse at a rescue centre! I’m new to Rover, but have been caring for dogs for several years and always make sure they feel comfortable and happy. Trusted with countless walks, check-ins and petsitting.

Deena is fantastic! I’m so pleased she was able to look after Biffy at short notice. She really ‘gets’ sighthounds and was the perfect companion for my whippet for the day, thinking of all the little touches to make him feel comfortable and settled. I think Biffy really vibed with her lovely personality. I will definitely be booking again!
Dena has been an absolutely wonderful dog walker for our Lilly. From the very beginning, it was clear how naturally she connects with dogs, and over the 3 days Lilly grew truly fond of her—eventually getting so excited every time Dena arrived. What really stood out to us was Dena’s reliability and dedication. Even on rainy days, she never hesitated to take Lilly out for her walks, which gave us great peace of mind.
