This was my first experience using Shilpi's dog care services and I'm very happy with it. Shilpi has a friendly demeanor and knows how to manage various types of dogs. She took great care of my dog and kept me updated with messages and pics regularly. The icing on the cake are her two own dogs that are so friendly and gentle with other dogs! I'm glad to have found Shilpi, and I intend to use her services in the future as and when necessary.

Kimberley was amazing, made us feel confident with leaving Whiskey with her and assured us that everything was going to be alright. Whiskey is a hard dog to have because of his working line breed specific needs that has to be met and with all the updates that Kimberley provided we can see each and every need being met. He came back a happy dog with no issues what so ever! I can’t recommend Kimberley enough and will be using her dog sitting service in the future and I think you should as well.

Julie was amazing, completely relaxed around Willow and focused on her care. Very diligent about having the right mix of dogs in her house if she has more than one. Willow adjusted to Julie and her house within minutes of drop off and super laid back after her visit so clearly enjoyed herself. Definitely recommend - thank you

Tonie took amazing care of my dog Roc for a couple of days, even during a heatwave. She made sure he stayed comfortable and well looked after, and kept me updated regularly with photos, which I really appreciated. It gave me great peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. I’d highly recommend her and would definitely book again!

About: Five years ago, I had experience dog sitting when I lived in London, but after moving, I stopped. Now I'd like to do it again. I'm a housewife, so I have time to look after your pets. Don't worry about your furry friend being lonely, because I have an 8-year-old girl French Bulldog who is very friendly, to play with your beloved one. My house is surrounded by a fence, and it's only a 5-minute walk to a park in a dog-friendly area. However, we have a small garden in our house in case of emergencies at night. 😉

We met Karl for a get to know you walk, before we left Django with him, which was really helpful. Karl took the time to get by to know Django, he’s really friendly, a keen dog lover and we will definitely leave Django again.

Monster had a lovely time with Georgina, Baxter and Hugo. It was super hot so the dogs were kept (rightly) but with lots of toys and comfy places to try to chill (not her forte 😂). Georgina was also amazing with my being late because of train nonsense, really grateful. Thank you and we’ll definitely book with Georgina and family again

Joe and Anu take such good care of my cockapoo! They both obviously love dogs and quickly put my dog at ease, even though he can be a little bit anxious in new environments. By the second visit he barely wanted to come home 🤣 it's really reassuring that he's being so well looked after and they keep me updated regularly throughout the day. Almost reluctant to leave a 5🌟 review as I want to be able to continue booking them! Thank you both! 🙏🏼

Emily & Alex were so wonderful with my two little dogs. It was very much a home from home experience for them & took into account Coco’s needs now that she’s a little blind, as well as matching Peanut’s energy. Willow also made my pups right at home too! Thank you again guys, will definitely be booking again 😌

Amy is always very welcoming, genuinely loves dogs and makes every effort to accommodate you and your pet. Barley is always very chilled after a day at Amy's, he gets a walk and can play in their large garden. Amy has been very flexible and has accommodated barley at short notice.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Windsor on Rover is £34.5 per day (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 16,115 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Windsor. About 87% of Windsor sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Windsor commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
