“I've used Eirida a few times now and Ruby always loves staying and comes back very happy. She keeps me updated with lots of pics throughout her stay- we will definitely be booking again 😊”

“Having an elderly dog that has medical needs with different medications to add to the mix, has made me anxious to go on holiday. However, Sarah was absolutely fantastic and gave me huge peace of mind with how caring and conscientious she naturally is. Our old boy was looked after so well with regular updates to us. We really felt that he was having a holiday at the same time. I can not fault Sarah and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to have their dog be part of a lovely family environment rather than just “dog sat”. Sarah and her family genuinely love dogs and enjoy the 4 legged company. The large and secure garden is like a 5 star resort for pets. Would most definitely be requesting Sarah again for our beloved 15 year old.”

“Kotchaporn was amazing, and I was very happy with the care she provided for my dog. He has separation anxiety, but she made him feel comfortable and at ease from the start. She took him on plenty of walks, sent lots of pictures and updates, and maintained great communication throughout his stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared about him and made sure he was well looked after. I would definitely use Kotchaporn again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Rufus had a great time staying with Marion & she was so accommodating & updated us daily on how he was doing. Would definitely recommend Marion if anyone is looking for someone to look after their dog”

“Amy and family are delightful and clearly love dogs and making sure she had all the information needed for the stay. I know Wolfie really enjoyed his stay with lots of walks, a swim, cuddles and a large garden to enjoy! I was so glad that he had canine company too. Thank you so much for looking after our boy with care and attention. Highlyy recommended!”

“Nadia’s been amazing. She clearly loves dogs and is an excellent communicator. Her genuine care for our pet was apparent; she sends regular updates and clearly reads and understands the brief/instructions. We would use Nadia again in a heartbeat, and Zeno seemed like he had a super time!”

“First time Milo has stayed with Nadezda and we will booking with her again! Milo was well looked after and I got regular photo updates which I love. Very content on his walks and slept well with his new friend 🙂 Thank you Nadezda!”

“Rusty had a very enjoyable stay & was fussed over. Luiza kept us in the loop on a constant basis, sending us lots of photos of him. I absolutely recommend Luiza to look after your pooch!”

“Second visit for Lexie and she loved it. Sundeep’s house feels really relaxed and she (and her daughters) are so good with dogs. Sundeep kept us well informed. Lexie can’t wait for her next stay in a few weeks time.”

About: I’m Bally, and I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’ve looked after dogs for over 30 years and currently have a very friendly Maltipoo called Cookie, who loves having company around. My aim is simply to give pets a calm, comfortable environment where they can settle in naturally and continue with the routines they’re used to at home. I understand that every dog is different, and many owners have specific routines, preferences, and training approaches that are important to them. I’m always happy to follow detailed care instructions to make sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease. I work mostly from home, so dogs receive plenty of attention throughout the day, along with regular walks, play, company, and of course cuddles if they enjoy them. I’m also located near parks and green spaces that are ideal for exercise and quieter walks. My home is best suited to well-behaved small to medium-sized dogs, and I intentionally keep numbers low so each dog gets plenty of individual attention and a relaxed, low-stress environment. You can also expect regular updates and photos while you’re away, as I know reassurance and communication matter just as much as good care. Whether you need occasional help or someone dependable while travelling, I’d be very happy to help care for your dog. I mostly work from home and have a flexible routine, which means dogs receive plenty of attention, company, walks, and time to settle comfortably throughout the day. I’m available for boarding Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and weekends and try to keep each dog’s usual routine as consistent as possible while they’re in my care. I provide a calm, safe, and relaxed home environment with a fenced garden. I only take a limited number of bookings at a time so each dog receives individual attention and care. Cookie is very friendly and used to having other dogs around, but I always make introductions gradually and carefully. Regular updates and photos are always included for peace of mind.

“First time using this app. Cat came back super settled and happy. Kirsty and Ryan were lovely and really easy to communicate with. Would recommend to everyone! Couldn’t be happier”

“Jessica was really great with Tiggy, providing updates throughout his stay and accommodating our last minute request. Tiggy is a rescue who has a bit of separation anxiety and Jessica was very understanding of this and very caring towards Tiggy. We would recommend her to anyone wanting to leave their dog in good hands for the night. Thank you Jessica!”

“Holly made the whole boarding process really simple, great communicator who provides lovely updates of Willow settled in and out on woodland walks. Would highly recommend. Thankyou”

“I am so happy that I found Tetiana. Always reliable, my shy 1 year old Minnie feels safe and pampered with her. On our last visit, Minnie just sprung to Tetiana's door, scratching and not patiently waiting to be let in. I'm glad she feels happy and safe there. Tetiana also keeps good communication open, and always sends pics with Minnie's. Highly recommend.”

“This was the first time I have used Rover and I’m so glad I found such a lovely, friendly, and caring couple to look after my dog. They were really kind and made my dog feel completely at home. My dog absolutely loved being there, which gave me so much peace of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring doggy day care experience.”

“Emily was very prompt to respond to us. She quickly arranged a meeting out for a walk with us, where we met her and her partner, Alex and dog, Willow to ensure everyone got on well. They were very attentive to Sonny’s needs and when he stayed with them gave us plenty of updates and Sonny looked very happy. We’ve already booked Emily and Alex to look after Sonny for our next trip away.”

“Buddy had his first stay for a few nights with Lynda recently and we are happy to have found her on rover.com! He was well looked after in a safe and caring environment and came home a happy dog. Would highly recommend Lynda and Charlie”

“I had such a great experience with our cat sitter, Amy, over Christmas. Amy took amazing care of Bruce and it was so reassuring knowing he was in such good hands while we were away. The photo updates and little stories about what he’d been up to were honestly a highlight, it was lovely to see how happy and settled he was. You could really tell Amy understood his personality and behaviour, which meant a lot to me. I came home to a very content Brucie and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amy to my family and freinds. I will definitely be booking again! Thanks Amy 🤩”

“Raffi was so lovely and professional throughout the booking process and stay. She looked after our cat so well and sent pics throughout - we will definitely be booking again!”

About: I've taken care of cats my whole life from feeding them when I was a toddler to owning 3 in my adult years. We also help take care of our family and friends cats when they go away on holiday. We know that sometimes it's easier to keep the cat at home and just have someone come in to look after them. I'm here to help, whatever your cat needs are.

About: I've looked after a few different breeds of cats from British shorthair to mixed breeds. I'm fully aware that cats can take time to warm up to strangers so I'm very patient with them. I'll make sure your cat is given the best care when you're away

Ellie was so kind, caring and clearly made sure Gizzy was happy and well looked after. About: I’ve checked in on and looked after friends cats for the last year or so. Most recently 2 independent Kiwi cats who were living with a dog I cared for. Also a young energetic tabby who loved to play on the bed and sit on you! While I have more experience with dogs, I’m careful calm respectful and caring of all animals and will follow your instructions on how you like your pet cared for.

About: I have experience looking after friends’ and neighbours’ cats while they’re away on holiday, providing daily feeds, plenty of playtime, interaction and, of course, lots of love and attention. I absolutely adore cats and genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and cared for in their own home. I especially have a soft spot for affectionate, loving cats who enjoy a good cuddle! 🐾❤️ I’m reliable, caring and attentive, and I’ll treat your cat as if they were my own — making sure they receive plenty of companionship, fuss and attention while you’re away, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe and loving hands.
About: I grew up with German Shepards and rescued my own some years ago so I’m comfortable with larger breeds. I’m 52, WFH most days and I look after a friends Golden Retriever whenever they’re away 3-4 times a year for a week or two at a time. I work from home and could have a dog here at my home most mornings as I work US hours and I have more flexibility during my morning for some four legged company. I live in Sunningdale Park so there’s plenty of space to run and play on my doorstep. My home (a rental house) has a fenced garden and backs onto a large fenced parkland space. I have time to play and am able to create a calm environment as I live alone.

About: I’ve loved cats from a young age and had my own cat from when I was in Year 2 until very recently. When I was younger, I also used to help a lady in my neighbourhood who had multiple cats, looking after them while also keeping her company. Over the years, I’ve been around and cared for lots of different cats, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities and understand that every cat is different. I’m also very aware of their boundaries and know that some cats need a little time and space to come to you. Through working in a vet practice, I’ve met, handled and cared for many cats and built some really lovely relationships with them and their owners. Working at Pets Corner also gave me more knowledge about cats, including their nutrition, enrichment, behaviour and general needs.

About: Five years ago, I had experience dog sitting when I lived in London, but after moving, I stopped. Now I'd like to do it again. I'm a housewife, so I have time to look after your pets. Don't worry about your furry friend being lonely, because I have an 8-year-old girl French Bulldog who is very friendly, to play with your beloved one. My house is surrounded by a fence, and it's only a 5-minute walk to a park in a dog-friendly area. However, we have a small garden in our house in case of emergencies at night. 😉
“Such a positive experience, Bella was very anxious when arriving but I got updates to let me know how she was getting on with photos. She had a lovely time and is now exhausted! Thank you so much Nadia”

I aim to provide a personalised and joyful experience for your animal, whatever the circumstance. In terms of walking dogs specifically, I have experience with all sizes and strengths of dogs. Please leave me a message describing your situation and I will let you know how I can best care for/walk your pet to suit you! Pet care and child care are my job, so whenever I’m not with children, I’m with animals! I’m home the majority of the time and available to assist you with your dogs care. Having worked from home for 5 years I’m now venturing out working from home for myself. “Julie was amazing, completely relaxed around Willow and focused on her care. Very diligent about having the right mix of dogs in her house if she has more than one. Willow adjusted to Julie and her house within minutes of drop off and super laid back after her visit so clearly enjoyed herself. Definitely recommend - thank you”

About: I'm the kind of person who knows all the names of my neighbours dogs. I love dogs, have had my own for six years and regularly look after friends and relatives' pets. My current pup (Hero) is a friendly two-year old cavalier who is very accustomed being around all kinds of other dogs. I work from home, so am always around! Whilst I do have a few meetings where the study door would be shut against potentially noisy visitors, I mostly work flexibly and can prioritise dog walks/cuddles. I have a fenced in garden, a friendly dog, and a home which I'm never expecting to be entirely dog-hair free. I live next to a forest and take dogs there regularly - if you're happy for your pup to be off leash, it's a secure place for them to run around. I'd always ask your permission before doing so.

About: I’ve lived in many houses and can deal with most situations calmly and sensibly. I have owned springer spaniels and have experience sitting for King Charles spaniels, working Cocker spaniels, a variety of terriers, mini Schnauzers, Labradors and cockapoos. I’ve looked after old dogs, blind and deaf as well as younger energetic ones - but I do like them to have some training so I’m not being towed around and then we can have fun together while I keep your pet safe and happy. I like to meet you and your dog(s) before sitting for you. During school terms I am mainly available in the weekday mornings but may cover sitting in the evenings Mon-Fri and possibly some weekends as well with enough notice. I am happy to stay in your house for longer periods with your pet (s) but these sits are usually only available in school holidays. I’m happy to travel within the UK coast and countryside for house sitting and have done a number of sits in central Scotland.. I prefer to care for dogs in their own home and neighbourhood where they feel most comfortable but can drive them to longer walks (depending on size of dog!). I can care for young puppies though I’m also used to older dogs who need company and short frequent walks/toilet breaks. Im experienced with most medications and special care vet though not injections. I’ll just try to keep your dog safe and happy around your home and out for exercise - and will send you updates/photos as often as you like.

I have taken care of my families dogs whilst they are away on holiday and have volunteered through borrow my doggy to walk dogs around my neighbourhood. I currently work full time as cabin crew but I am looking for a second little income to have on my days off. What better way than to spend them with animals and pets. “I met Jessica before taking her on to look after my Retired Police Dog Saffie. She turned up every day and did everything I asked from her in looking after my dog. Good walks and some extra time playing fetch with her each day after the walk. Reliable, caring and Saffie thought she is great too. Thank you”

About: What sets me apart 🐾❤️ I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, looking after dogs of all different breeds, sizes, personalities and needs. Over the years, I’ve gained a lot of experience understanding different temperaments and making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable and cared for. My love for dogs also goes beyond boarding. I’ve been involved in rehoming dogs in Egypt and Lebanon, helping dogs find safe and loving homes. I’ve also worked with Mashala Dog Shelter in South Lebanon, which gave me valuable experience caring for and understanding dogs from all different backgrounds and circumstances. When dogs stay with me, I treat them as part of the family and aim to make my home their second home. 🏡🐶 I love taking them on long walks and adventures to places such as Virginia Water, Windsor, Taplow and Black Country Park, with 2–3 hour hikes depending on the individual dog. Their exercise is always adjusted to suit their age, fitness and energy levels. I also believe a happy dog needs a good balance of exercise, enrichment and rest. We have garden enrichment, playtime, cuddles, mental stimulation and plenty of quiet time and naps. Most importantly, I genuinely care about the dogs I look after. I take the time to get to know their individual personalities, routines and little quirks, and I want every dog to leave feeling happy, relaxed and loved. 🐾 Pet care is my full-time focus, so I can dedicate all the time and attention your pets need. Since this is my only job, I have the flexibility to follow your pet’s specific routine, whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. My schedule is built entirely around making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy, so you can always count on me to be reliable and available when needed. I provide a loving, home-from-home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I keep their individual routines and needs in mind, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, enrichment, attention and plenty of rest. Dogs staying with me enjoy beautiful walks and hikes in places such as Virginia Water, Windsor, Taplow and Black Country Park, with walks adjusted to suit their age, breed, fitness and energy levels. 🐶🌳 At home, we have garden play, enrichment activities, cuddles, relaxed downtime and lots of cosy naps. I never want dogs to feel like they’re simply being “looked after”. I want them to genuinely enjoy their stay and feel safe, settled and loved. I’m also very attentive to each dog’s personality and routine, and I keep owners updated so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My aim is for every dog to leave happy, relaxed and already looking forward to their next stay! 🥰🐾

About: I am a lifelong animal lover who offers calm, reliable, and attentive care for both dogs and cats. Growing up around dogs and having a cat of my own, caring for pets is second nature to me. I know how important it is to have someone you completely trust looking after your home and your four-legged family members. As a lifelong pet owner with a flexible daily schedule, pet care fits seamlessly into my routine. I have plenty of availability for mid-day dog walks, morning or evening drop-in visits, and attentive care tailored entirely to your pet's needs. When caring for pets, I follow their exact daily routine to keep them safe, comfortable, and stress-free. For drop-in visits, daycare, and walks, I ensure fresh water is always available, feed on schedule, clean litter boxes, and provide plenty of exercise and quiet companionship. I also have a fully fenced-off, secure garden for safe outdoor playtime. I keep homes secure, maintain strict attention to safety on lead during walks, and send regular photo updates so owners have total peace of mind.
About: I’ve been rescuing animals for years, dogs, chickens, ducks, pigeons, mice, bees! Basically any animal in need of help. Volunteering with animal rescues, taking care of friends pets to bringing poorly pigeons home from work! A life filled with animals Iife full of love. I’m self employed, sometimes working at home. Sometimes working on film sets where I can take pets! (Depending on the production) So I’m happy to do ad hoc days, last minute requests. I have an enclosed garden, and lots of lovely walks close by. I drive and love to go visit new places to walk and get muddy!
“Ted had a great walk with Marjorie this morning. I had lots of updates and Ted was happy and tired when I got home. Ted will have another walk with Marjorie next week! It is easy to tell that Marjorie loves her doggy friends as she has such a lovely way with Ted :)”

“Raffi was great- so accommodating when our George wasn’t that well. Instead of his scheduled walk she came over and spent time with him, gave him his lunch and some love. Very happy with the service she gave us and would highly recommend.”

About: I have always been around animals, having lived with cats and dogs whilst growing up. I have helped friends out before professionally on Rover, so your furry friend will be in very safe and capable hands. I work full-time which consists of 3 days at home and 2 days a week in London. There is some flexibility on days in the office if some notice is given. Your pet will be given first priority, making sure they are fed, entertained and most importantly, happy! I am unable to look after pets in my own home, if you require my services at your own home, then I am happy to provide anything that might be required to ensure your pet is happy.
About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember, I’ve had happy dogs, angry dogs, quiet dogs. To sum it up I can handle anything you throw at me whether it be a big dog or a small dog, I’ve got it. The dogs I have now I can’t even take on walks without being on a leash and one’s a big strong Labrador so there’s no worries about big dogs being uncontrollable. Every day I go downstairs and practice tricks, rub my dogs, and give them snacks. I’m a truly loving person towards dogs and I would always seek to protect them and give them the best experience they can have. I’m very gentle with my pets, I’m scared that if I handle them too roughly they may get hurt. I think animals are the most precious things towards humans. They give us love happiness and something to look forward to every day when we wake up.

“Buddy had his first stay for a few nights with Lynda recently and we are happy to have found her on rover.com! He was well looked after in a safe and caring environment and came home a happy dog. Would highly recommend Lynda and Charlie”

“Toni was absolutely amazing, kept us informed regularly and provided pictures of our dog throughout the day. Would definitely be using Toni in the future. Highly recommend.”

“Sarah and her husband looked after Monty so well. He is a lively terrier and they were really patient with him, he played with other dogs and is now bored at home and wants to go back! She kept me updated on how he was settling in. Brilliant!”

“I can’t thank Courtney enough for the amazing care she provided to Brodie! It was clear he was well looked after, and Courtney’s attention to detail and genuine love for dogs really stood out, giving me complete peace of mind. Brodie arrived back to us with a big smile on his face, which says it all! It’s so reassuring to know he was in such great hands. “Being a first time dog mum’s and leaving your puppy with someone new can always be a very daunting process, but Natasha made it so easy for us! Very kind, patient and gave us regular updates with how our puppy was doing! Thank you so much for all your help! We will definitely be back!”

“This was Cookies first ‘staycation’ away from me since I have had her. Vicky was brilliant… more than brilliant actually insofar as, she understood my trepidation with leaving Cookie for the first time and understood 100% the needs and quirks of Cookie. I have already rebooked and cannot praise the care and attention given by Vicky enough.”

“Deepa was great! She sent loads of updates and was extremely quick to respond to all my questions. Very reliable and a lovely family who helped make Rolo feel at home. Thank you!”

“Thank you Dorota for having Ruby at such short notice. She had a fantastic day with walks, playing and cuddles on the couch! You made me feel very reassured and at ease leaving her. Thank you”

“Ginny stayed with Gemma overnight as a trial before we leave her for a week whilst we go away. It was our first time leaving Ginny with someone else and I was quite anxious about it. Gemma was great with communication from the start and put my mind at ease. We also arranged a meet and greet before the one night stay so Ginny could meet Gemma and Rocky and be familiar with the house before we leave her. The dogs got on amazingly, and Rocky is very welcoming of house guests 🙂 We were kept updated with lots of photos which was great to put my mind at ease. It was nice that dogs are allowed on the sofa and even in bed which just makes it a proper home from home experience. Since picking Ginny up she's been sparked out so must have had a great time, and I'm sure is looking forward to staying with Gemma again in a couple of weeks!”
