This was the first time we’ve used a sitter so we were a bit apprehensive, however, Lauren was brilliant with both of our cats. They really took to her and Lauren did everything we asked for and more. We felt much better knowing our little ones were in safe hands. We highly recommend Lauren and would definitely use her again. Thank you Lauren.

About: I grew up with German Shepards and rescued my own some years ago so I’m comfortable with larger breeds. I’m 52, WFH most days and I look after a friends Golden Retriever whenever they’re away 3-4 times a year for a week or two at a time. I work from home and could have a dog here at my home most mornings as I work US hours and I have more flexibility during my morning for some four legged company. I live in Sunningdale Park so there’s plenty of space to run and play on my doorstep. My home (a rental house) has a fenced garden and backs onto a large fenced parkland space. I have time to play and am able to create a calm environment as I live alone.

We were very lucky to have Antony helping us look after our cat Luffy while we were away. He made sure Luffy always had fresh water, a clean environment, attention and cuddles. Most importantly, he managed to earn the trust of our little scaredy cat, which says a lot! Would definitely recommend him.

Since I work from home, I’m able to give your pets lots of attention and company all day long – they’ll never feel alone. I start my day early and can attend to early feeds and walks if necessary. I have welcomed 5 dogs into my home for pet sitting this year, giving each one lots of love, attention, and care. About: I have always lived in a house with both cats and dogs and have enjoyed their company and every aspect of taking care of them since I was a young child. I have looked after dogs and cats of every single age and stage, so I am very used to understanding all of their needs. I am a stay at home mum in a quiet home of older children, so I walk dogs after I have done the school drop-off and before I do the school pick up. I’m usually in the house all day apart from brief grocery shopping trips out. Specialising in overnight Dog Boarding I previously worked for an agency for a number of years, and now I am an independent dog boarder. As a result I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages and I have experience giving medication, and various grooming needs, such as the funny job of wiping out the wrinkles of an English bulldog!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Windsor

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Windsor on Rover is £13.8 per Visit (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 351 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Windsor. About 82% of Windsor sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
