Rebekah is certainly a cat lover. Our two cats are usually very timid, but over the course of the month their confidence grew and became friends with her. Rebekah was reliable and let us know how they were and also drew our attention to what had happened to one of the fences while we were away. We were happy with Rebekah and would recommend her.

About: I’ve been raised around dogs my whole life, so caring for them feels very natural to me. Over the years, I’ve often looked after neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and ages. I understand how important routine and consistency are for dogs, from knowing how often they need walks to recognizing when they may be tired, anxious, or unwell. What sets me apart is my attentiveness and ability to pick up on the small details that make a big difference in pet care. I can adapt to the specific needs of each dog—whether that’s extra playtime for puppies with lots of energy, a gentler pace and special care for seniors, or sticking closely to a feeding and exercise routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, ensuring they’re not only safe and well cared for, but also happy and comfortable while with me. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I can dedicate all the time and attention your pets need. Since this is my only job, I have the flexibility to follow your pet’s specific routine, whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. My schedule is built entirely around making sure pets feel safe, cared for, and happy, so you can always count on me to be reliable and available when needed. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In a pet owner’s home, I always respect their space and follow the pet’s normal routines as closely as possible, which helps reduce stress and keeps pets comfortable. I make sure doors and gates are secure at all times, walks are done safely on-lead unless otherwise instructed, and feeding/medication schedules are followed exactly. If pets are with me in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they’ll have plenty of attention, exercise, and rest. I keep a close eye on their behavior and wellbeing, and I’m quick to notice if something seems off. Whether at my home or the owner’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own ensuring they’re cared for with patience, kindness, and consistency.

About: I have had pets all my life, from dogs and cats, hamsters and guinea pigs, to turtles and budgies. I am a pet person through and through. I'd love to welcome your fur baby into our home for any reason you may need. We have a very welcoming and pet friendly home with a large back garden and plenty of forested walks in the area. I am home most days of the week however, when looking after pets in our home, I ensure that I am home with the doggies or cats all the time. My daughters also love helping to look after pets in our home too making sure that they are happy and content. We have a very large fenced garden that is perfect for ball games, running and just sniffing around. We also have plenty of forested walks around our area for bigger walks. I always ensure the dogs we look after are out for a min of 2 walks a day while in our care. They will also have water available 24/7 and we will work to any feeding schedule you already have in place without fuss. For cat sitting, our home is secure for staying at our place. For house visiting, we will ensure a min of 2 visits a day for water and feeding with lots of fuss and playing as needed. I am also available on Wed-Sunday for doggy day care where doggies can come and stay and play for the day.

Ellie looked after my cat, Gizzy, for two days while I was away and was absolutely amazing. She kept me regularly updated and sent photos, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. Ellie was so kind, caring and clearly made sure Gizzy was happy and well looked after. About: I have had two dogs back in my family home. A Labrador and a Romanian rescue dog. I have a good nature of letting anxious doggies, have there time to be familiar to new people and there surroundings. I’m very patient, and will always give them lots of love and attention. I currently work full time as a paramedic. But, I do have 4-5 consecutive days off at a time due too the shift work! I live with my partner who also is in emergency services but we often are on opposites so someone will always be with your loved one 🤍 Each week is very different, but we’re very adaptable in regards to how much attention your dog or cat may need I live in a one bed flat with my partner who loves animals. We tend to share looking after your pet, as we both do shift work, so someone will always be here for them! The flat is a one bedroom and , the windows don’t open too far, as they are on a small latch so no animal can get out. I live on the four floor of a twenty story story building. There is lots of greenery around my flat where I can go too walk your dog, and for them to use the toilet.

We were very lucky to have Antony helping us look after our cat Luffy while we were away. He made sure Luffy always had fresh water, a clean environment, attention and cuddles. Most importantly, he managed to earn the trust of our little scaredy cat, which says a lot! Would definitely recommend him.

About: I’m a huge animal lover with experience caring for dogs and other pets for friends, family and neighbours. I’m responsible, reliable and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I’m happy to help with walks, feeding, playtime and giving pets lots of attention so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my routine as I have plenty of free time during the week. Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Windsor pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Windsor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
