About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. Our beloved Labradoodle, Oakley, came into our family as a rescue at 2 years old and brought us years of happiness, companionship, and unforgettable memories. After sadly losing him two years ago, we decided to turn our love for dogs into something meaningful. Providing a safe, caring, and trusted home-from-home for other dogs when their owners are away. We understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone you can truly trust. That’s why we are committed to giving every dog the same love, attention, and care we would give our own. Whether it’s overnight stays, weekend care, or evening walks, your dog will be treated like part of the family. What We Offer * Weekend boarding availability from Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening * Weekday evening dog walks * Daily exercise with morning and evening walks * Secure, fully fenced 6ft garden with plenty of space to play and explore * Lots of cuddles, playtime, and personal attention Your dog’s happiness, comfort, and safety are our top priorities. We aim to create a fun, relaxed, and loving environment where dogs feel secure, cared for, and excited to return. We would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member and give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. We are available weekends (Friday afternoon through to Sunday evenings) and week day evenings for dog walks. We will take them for walk onces in the morning and once in the evening and they will have access to the garden all day. We have a fenced secure garden (6ft fences all the way round. They will be cared for and loved with lots of cuddles and plenty of fun with a ball and/or toys
“Ash was wonderful with Suki and Prisma. You can tell he has a lot of experience with animals and he took great care of our pets' needs while we were away. We’re very grateful for his help, patience, and the thoughtful gift he gave to Suki, she absolutely loved it! We would happily book his services again in the future and highly recommend him !”
“We booked 2 home visits with Michael for an afternoon and evening visit. We are beyond grateful to have found Michael - we were looking very last-minute and yet Michael made it possible - and even made sure to meet Nelson (and us) beforehand which really put our minds at ease. It was the first time that Nelson was home alone for an extended period of time, and Michael helped it be a huge success. Nelson seemed calm and content whenever we checked in in between Michael's visits, and the feedback and photos Michael sent us after the visits confirmed this also. We are genuinely beyond grateful and felt that Nelson was in capable hands during the visits. I am sure Nelson can't wait to be left home alone again so that he can see Michael again! :) Thank you, Michael!”

About: I’ve been a devoted pet owner for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family was never short of furry companionship. I had the joy growing up with two labradors as a child and three years ago I welcomed the perfect little yorkie into my life. These experiences taught me not only the importance of love and care for animals but also the value of training and boundaries. I’m a believer in balanced pet care, structured when needed, but always with plenty of love, patience, and of course, cuddles! Currently, I live with my dog Anja, a friendly and social tiny yorkie who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Your pup would need to be comfortable with her playful nature, as she’s always happy to make new friends. I know how essential it is for your dog to feel at ease in a new environment, and I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, secure, and loved while in my care. I’m currently taking a break from my full time job and this allows me to have plenty of flexibility to look after your pup full time. I have a fenced garden and a park nearby that I can take your dog for a good walk and play around. Pets are allowed on furniture and bed and I have plenty of toys for them to be entertained.
“Hayley looked after our 4-month puppy and did a great job. She met with us before to help with familiarity, and was prompt and clear with all communication and followed all instructions perfectly. We appreciated the updates and pictures to give additional assurance!”

“Maddy was absolutely excellent. From initial contact to the end of the visit she did everything carefully and diligently and ensured Scout was happy and safe. Highly recommend and thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m a friendly, reliable pet lover with years of experience caring for cats and walking dogs. I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. I’m comfortable caring for cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats, and I love taking dogs on long walks, giving them plenty of attention and making sure they get the exercise and companionship they need. I work fully from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the day. This means I can offer reliable weekday walks and drop-in visits, with the opportunity to spend quality time with your pets rather than simply popping in and leaving. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine and the rules of your home, and I’m happy to give them the same patience, affection and care I would give my own. Whether your pet needs a long walk, some company during the day, feeding, playtime or simply a little extra attention, I’ll be there to make sure they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my priority, and I’d love the opportunity to meet them! 🐶🐱 I work from home from Monday - Thursday and I have two young girls. My eldest is now at school and my youngest at nursery, which gives me availability during the day and early evening. This means I can provide reliable weekday dog walks and drop-in visits, giving your pet plenty of exercise, companionship and care while you’re at work or away from home. I will follow all the rules and routines of your home as required. I’m also happy to spend plenty of quality time with your pets at least once a day, ensuring they receive the companionship, attention and social interaction they need while you’re away.
About: I have had dogs, cats horses and other small animals all my life growing up and currently have a small 6 year old pomeranian friendly boy. I now also have a beautiful cat called Luna. I absolutely love animals more than humans!! I would love to be able to spend my days surrounded by dogs and cats and am always offering to pet sit for friends and im always out walking. I currently work full time but I am able to work from home 2/3 days a week and have a secure garden with enough space to play. We have plenty of toys and a big park down the road to go walking. A secure fenced garden which is always locked from the inside. I am able to have a dog come to me a few times a week and as long as they are OK with another small dog and cat then they are welcome to play here all day or come for walkies with us.

About: I’ve worked with ‘Walkies’ for 2 years part time, helped set up ‘Gone to the Dogs’. I’ve set up and run my own business for a year, Alice’s Adventures. I used to be a full-time dog walker, but due to health issues, I had to close my business. I am now ready to open up again and connect with our furry friends on new adventures. I use a 10-metre training lead with all new dogs while we get to know each other and build trust. If there’s ever any uncertainty, I keep them on the lead to ensure everyone’s safety. Recall is something I consistently work on with every dog I walk. My vehicle is fully set up for safe transport, with secure clips and a dog guard fitted. I understand that joining a new group can feel overwhelming for some dogs, so introductions are handled carefully. I allow them to greet the others while the resident dogs are clipped in, closely monitor body language, and then gradually help them become comfortable with one another during the walk. I always arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand. I’ve never had to turn a dog away and hope I never do. I’m patient, calm, and committed to making each dog feel safe and confident in my care.
About: I absolutely adore taking care of pets probably more than the pets themselves! I have experience in puppy training and can offer all the attention they need. I have many big outdoor spaces available to me for their long walks and will welcome them into the cosiest home of ours. I’ve missed having a dog around the house since I moved out my family home to come to Surrey for uni. So I’d adore having a dog to keep me company again! I work part time and therefore have a lot of spare time to dedicate to pet care. I am passionate about training puppies and love having them around not only the company but the energy they bring. I love long walks and would love to bring them with me to share the experience. I have a comfortable living space that I allow pets to climb and sit on. There are many outdoor parks and fields near me that they can enjoy.
“Justyna was really great with my nervous 6 month old shepherd and managed to win his trust within a few minutes. She was also incredibly patient with his little quirks and offered really useful advice. Will definitely use again.”

About: I've had a cat for 11 years and have taken care of friends dogs and cats over the years. I have enjoyed dropping in to feed and play with their pets as well as take them for walks and stay overnight while the owner has been away. I am glad to be able to take the stress off of the owners so they can enjoy their time away. | am currently looking for a job so I have plenty of time to be able to look after your pets, but I have a timid cat so wouldn't be able to have them in my home, however I would be more than happy to drop into yours or stay the night if needed. I have spent time looking after both cats and dogs in the owners home, dropping in to feed them, taking them on walks and even staying a night or two to ensure your pets are taken care of.
About: I’ve taken care of my cousins dog before and now I have a Cockapoo girl called Peanut! She is our first dog and we love her so much. I would like to help other people to take care of their dogs when they are away as I understand that is hard to leave your dog and I want to provide the best care, cuddles and play time! Peanut loves to run around with other dogs and it will be great for her to have a friend over. We have a garden in the house but we also live near Swinley forest, Lightwater Country park and Virginia water where we take Peanut on walks. After the muddy walks I always wash Peanut’s paws ( we installed a hot water tap in our garden) and wipe and brush her. I will make sure your dog is also clean and tidy to relax after the walks. I work from home every day and my partner is also working from home so your dog will never be alone! I will follow your instructions about feeding times and dog routine and as I said, your dog will never be alone in our house. I have a fenced garden and lots of space for your dog to play or chill. We can discuss about the level of activity your dog needs and the quiet time to nap.

About: I used to help out at the kennels & cattery my Nan owned in my younger years. My Nan used to breed dogs and was recognised / a member of the kennel club, so I've always been around dogs. Three years ago we adopted our dog Chloe from a shelter in Romania and we have loved her unconditionally ever since. I am self employed and work from my home in Frimley. My time is flexible so I can work around customers needs offering day time visits or walks, and over night stays at your home. I offer day time visits, walks or over night stays in your home, rather than mine so I can offer 1-1 care and attention to your pet.

Dmytro did a fantastic job looking after our cat Ozzy. He was punctual, attentive and always precise with his updates, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Ozzy seemed very relaxed and happy in his care. We will not hesitate to book Dmytro again — truly a 5‑star cat sitter 😊

First time leaving our dog alone for an extended period of time. He is boisterous and doesn't listen to many commands, so we were very nervous, but Tigan has handled everything perfectly. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly professional, reliable, and genuinely caring. Always easy to contact her and accommodating to our needs. We returned back to a happy and clean pup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
