Naomi looked after our two cats whilst we were away on holiday for the week and I couldn’t have asked for a more caring and patient sitter. I am very grateful to her for keeping me updated whilst I was away. I would definitely recommend Naomi to our neighbours and friends :)

Grant was fantastic. He was reliable, kept in regular contact with us, and sent photos of the cats while we were away. It gave us real peace of mind knowing they were being well looked after. He also went the extra mile by checking on the property, picking up post from the floor, and bringing parcels inside. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

Ellie was absolutely fantastic with our little Cody. From start to finish she put my mind at ease and was willing to work with us and Cody’s routine. She bonded with him so well in such a short space of time and send lovely photos of their time together. I would highly recommend Ellie and will definitely be using her services again.

It was quite last minute that we asked Eleanor to pop in to a cat to feed him, however she was very responsive and we planned for her to come and meet him and us beforehand. She brought her husband and later her daughter along also, and they both seemed very friendly and understanding of caring for pets, as they have their own. We were updated every time she went in with comments and photos which was amazing! We will most definitely call on Eleanor again if we require some help! Thank you 😊

About: We have had Jet our Weimaraner for 6 years and know the importance of having a safe and secure boarding home when away. I’ve had Jet since she was a puppy and Dan has had dogs all of his life. I’ve also looked after multiple dogs for my friends ranging from terriers through to German Shepherds and Pointers. Jet loves having extra friends to play with and we want to be able to give back to the Rover community who have been great for us. Your pup will be treated like one of our own during their stay. Dan works in a shift pattern and I’m home every weekend therefore we will be in all day during their stay. We offer long countryside walks, lots of cuddles and daily updates. Your pup will be kept company by Jet and will have a fenced garden to play in when it’s sunny and a sofa to snuggle on when it’s rainy and when not out on walks. We have a crate available if that is needed for any continuity of training.

I am a full time dog walker, I tend to work 5-7 days a week so am usually available over the weekends to help. I have a van with four cages inside to transport the dogs safely to a walking destination. Each cage is large enough to fit a big dog or two smaller dogs.

About: Hi, I'm Kelly! I work from home full-time and provide loving, reliable pet care tailored to your dog's individual needs. Whether you're looking for boarding, doggy day care, house sitting, dog walking or drop-in visits, your pet will be treated like one of the family. I live with my partner Nikolai who also helps walk and take care of our visitors. I have a secure garden and a friendly resident dog, Mabel, who loves making new friends and is a wonderful companion for sociable dogs. However, I understand that not every dog enjoys the company of others. If your dog prefers their own space, I'm happy to accommodate this with separate walks, individual care and house sitting, ensuring they feel comfortable, relaxed and receive my full attention. I only care for a small number of dogs at a time, so every guest receives plenty of one-to-one attention, regular walks, playtime, cuddles and companionship in a calm, loving home. I've had dogs, cats and horses all my life and have experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbours and family have regularly relied on me to feed, walk, play with and look after their pets while away. I'm patient, trustworthy, flexible and genuinely love animals, making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. Whether it's an energetic puppy, a senior dog who enjoys a slower pace, or a pet with a specific routine, I'll always follow your instructions carefully. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and receiving the same love and attention they'd get at home. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to care for pets throughout the day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I’m happy to offer walks, drop-ins, play dates and plenty of companionship and attention. I’ve had animals all my life and genuinely enjoy spending time with them, making sure they feel comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’m also always ready for a doggy cappuccino treat and cuddle break! I provide a calm, safe and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets in someone else’s care and always make sure they feel comfortable, secure and well looked after. I follow owners’ routines carefully, including feeding, walking and medication instructions, and I’m happy to give regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: We have over 15 years experience caring for all types of pets from hamsters to dogs! Currently we have a 2 year old spaniel and a 8 year old cat in residence who are looking forward to having some friends come to stay! Having raised our dog from 9 weeks old we are confident in all areas from giving baths to medication. Situated in central Fleet we have lots of green spaces to take pups for a walk, as well as an enclosed back garden for playtime. We look forward to meeting you and your fluffy friends soon! We both work alternate days from home in the week apart from Wednesdays, so have quite a lot of flexibility to fit around your needs. About: Anyone who knows me would vouch for my passion for all animals. My family has had cats since I was born and we got our first dog nearly 15 years ago who was my absolute world. Unfortunately we lost her at the end of 2024, but we cherish the memories dearly. As soon as I was able to, I have independently walked / trained / cared for my pets and take any opportunity to care for any other animals! My neighbours have trusted me to look after their pets whilst on holiday and I have a regular pet sit (two young dogs and a cat in their own home) where I quickly managed to befriend a nervous little cat who is very friendly with me, which I think was a shock to the owners! I have another regular dog, where I stay at their home whilst they are on holiday as well as a regular Tuesday and Thursday booking with different dogs. I also have experience looking after high energy puppies and larger dogs like border collies and labradors. I volunteer at my local wildlife rescue charity, where I health check and clean out anything from hedgehogs to pigeons! My love for animals extends into my career aspirations, as I want to go into the environment and sustainability sector. I will always go above and beyond to make sure animals feel safe and comfortable and will often put their needs above my own. I am doing a masters degree at the moment, so have some flexibility, I try to update my calendar as much as possible to reflect this. I am happy to accommodate to instructions provided to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable with my care. I can maintain a clean and organised environment and would communicate transparently for your peace of mind.

I'm very happy that I found Sarah, and she had time to visit Zosia last minute 🥰 We were going on short holidays and felt relieved when she was taking care of our Zozo. Our cat really liked her company and it was nice to see kitty's happy face on daily photos that Sarah sent. Would definitely recommend and will book in the future 😊

Louise is awesome. From my initial enquiry through to the final feeding visit, Louise kept in contact, kept me up to date and made sure she had all the information she needed. More importantly, Chester and Captain appear to approve 😁. Louise clearly has a love for animals and that's been demonstrated by two happy pets. Thank you ☺️

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Hart pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Hart choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
