I have always had pets in our family from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits to cats, dogs and horses. I love the variety and experience this has given me as well as the joy they bring. I therefore, have a wealth of experience with both physical and emotional needs of the animal. I have cleaned hutches and litter trays, walked dogs and given medication and first aid. This has also included end of life care, that although sad at times is also an extremely rewarding and essential part of pet ownership. My current pets include a 6 year old Weimaraner that I have owned since a puppy. This has brought all the fun of puppyhood, as well as socialisation and training classes. My dog is walked twice a day in any weather, enjoys stimulating games and activities and is a well rounded and happy dog. I would include any dog I was caring for in these activities and will cater for their individual needs. I also own 3 rescue cats, one of which was extremely unwell when he was re-homed, so I had to care for his many additional needs. They are all now happy and thriving in their loving home. I am fully insured, have a current DBS check and a four star rating for Home Boarding from Hart District Council. I would happily care for your pet as if it were part of my extended animal family.

Lucy was excellent for our cat whilst we were away. Communicated with us each time she dropped in with how they were getting on and always sent photos. A really easy experience and meant we could enjoy our holiday without worrying about our cat at home. Would recommend Lucy to anyone wanting their pets looked after and will look to book again 😄

This is our second time having Lucy drop in to visit and feed our cat Blue. This was the longest time we’ve left Blue at home and the daily updates and photos were lovely and put our minds at ease. We’ve come home to a very happy and playful kitty! We’ll 100% be using Lucy again when needed x
Lucy was fantastic. She treated our puppy Ralph as if he were her own and this made me feel very at ease with our puppy’s first ever sleep over. Lucy sent regular updates and photos during Ralph’s 2 night stay with her. We met Lucy briefly before the sleep over, so by the time I took Ralph to Lucy’s for his stay over, he remembered her and Enzo (Lucy’s dog) and he went in very happy. When I collected him 2 days later, he was still happy and it felt wonderful knowing that he was in good care. Lucy will definitely be my go to dog sitter from here on in. Thank you Lucy for the great service.
This is the first time I have used anyone other than family to look after my cats, however this won’t be the last time. Lucy was fantastic and put my mind at ease the whole time I was away. She went above and beyond what I thought she would do, she fed the cats, played with them, cleaned them out and washed their litter trays. I would highly recommend Lucy and will be using her services again! Thank you!

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog will receive all the attention it deserves both in my home and on daily walks. Your dog, will never be left unattended.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Your pet will be in a safe environment within my home. Indoors, I have cosy beds available and a crate if required. Feeding will take place in a quiet utility room. Outside I have enclosed, fenced garden with a lawn for play time and toileting needs.

A typical day
I really enjoy keeping dogs mentally and physically interested. I use a variety of toys and new games and use a variety of walks to keep things fun and stimulating.
