About: I have been caring for pets personally and professionally for over 14 years. I have worked as a cat sitter, caring for cats in their own homes when their families are away, and have been fully trained as a dog walker. I am confident working with dogs of all shapes and sizes and am familiar with young, training puppies, as well as senior pets who require special medications, feeding schedules, or mobility issues. In addition to my professional experience caring for pets, I got my very own first cat, Simon, at the young age of 7. Since then, I have been 'mummy' to 2 other cats and one lovely dog, in addition to being the legal guardian of several furry nieces and nephews whom I've cared for on countless occasions. Pets give me a genuine joy unlike anything else in this world and I love spending and sharing my days with them. I am currently working on a freelance basis, which opens me up wonderfully to the world of dog walking and cat sitting. Typically, I am available anytime between the hours of 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. I believe in keeping a pet in their familiar surroundings whenever possible. Home is the most comfortable place for all of us and when families are away, the consistency of staying at home is important for a pet. I like to be a guest in the pets home, letting the cats take control on social time, and being quick and discreet when picking up a dog for a walk and bringing them home again.

About: Plenty of experience with dogs, including volunteer experience as a trainee vet nurse at a rescue centre! I’m new to Rover, but have been caring for dogs for several years and always make sure they feel comfortable and happy. Trusted with countless walks, check-ins and petsitting. I work from home with plenty of time to be attentive with pets and keep them active. My schedule is flexible and I’m very happy to work around the dog and give them the activity and attention they need. Weekends are centred around the pet, with walks and lots of attention. I’m also able to carry on any training you are giving your dog and can teach new tricks! Fenced-in garden and plenty of attention to spoil your pet with! Can follow dogs own schedule so they’re comfortable and happy. I live near a large field and can offer activity and exercise for dogs as they need. I’m an active person and can set the pace depending in what the dog needs is, allowing plenty if time for sniffing and enrichment. I have experience with senior dogs as well as younger pups and can make sure their training schedule is being followed and that they get plenty of love and attention. I’ve has experience if working in a recuse kennel and am comfortable administering medication and am very attentive to what the dog needs.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a child and grew up with a dog of my own. My friends and neighbours have always had dogs too, and I’ve often been the one they rely on to walk, feed and look after their pets. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with puppies, senior dogs and those needing a bit of extra care and patience. When I worked as an au pair, the families I lived with also had pets, and I helped take care of them every day. One of them even had a cat named Poliwag — he became one of my little babies! For now, I’d love to turn my passion for animals into a second job while I wait for the right time to have a pet of my own. I work full-time from home, with offices days occasionally. Since I’m home most of the time, I can easily fit pet care into my routine for walks, visits, and cuddles throughout the day. My weekends are completely free, so I have plenty of time for boarding, longer walks, or extra playtime. I always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their environment. Since I mostly work from home, I can keep a close eye on them and follow their routines carefully: feeding, walks, and playtime. I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, affection, and attention to their unique needs. Your furry friend will always be in caring hands. I also live with my friend Olivia who absolutely loves dogs, she has one of her own, so your pet will be watched over by two pairs of caring eyes, making sure they feel supported, supervised, and well-loved at all times.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats most my life and my family just loves having pets around. It will be myself taking care of your pet and I can’t wait to meet them :) I work from home and so am home all day and would usually go for the walks in the morning and sometimes the afternoon too, if your pet requires 2 walks, please let me know, I have a fenced off back yard and a lot of space in the house. I can crate your dog if needed (please provide the crate), or he/she can have full roam of the house. My dog gets on very well with other dogs, he is a neutered golden retriever.

About: I have always had pets as a child and now as an adult! Animals bring so much joy to life and I love my furry friends. Our beloved Labrador passed recently and we miss having a dog in the house, but aren't ready to replace yet, so I enjoy caring for other dogs whilst their owners are away! I live moments from the River Wey so your furry friend can expect a lovely walk along the river to stoke lock through to Guildford nature reserve. I work flexible hours from my office at home, which means I have plenty of time to care for your pet and make sure they get the attention they need - plenty of play, walks and food! I have a fully fenced and secure garden where there is space for your dog to be outside. Whilst I am working your dog will sit with me in my home office and provide welcome distraction from my IT role! I will walk dogs in the morning, lunchtime and evening as needed to suit your pet.

About: I’ve owned dogs myself since I was young, and have grown up wanting to be a vet (currently in my third year of my uni degree). A mix of work at a dog kennels and local cattery make me a perfect match for your companion. I’m currently a student at the uni of Surrey studying veterinary medicine, so during the week I may have some mandatory practicals to attend. But I organise my schedule around this so that when I’m looking after your pet, they will have my full attention at all times. I live in a very clean and friendly neighbourhood in Guildford, with lots of parks and long walks nearby. My garden is entirely enclosed by the fence and large enough for all dogs to enjoy. They’re is plenty of room in both the lounge or bedroom depending on your dogs preference of where to sleep (even if they steal my space on the bed). I also have other vet students friends who love to give cuddles to all my visiting pets, although they will not leave my direct company.

About: After years of begging my parents, we finally got our golden retriever Arlo in 2021. I spent the first few months with him at home, working on training and obedience skills. Now that I live away from my parents, I miss having a dog at home. I am unable to have a dog of my own due to work commitments and my current tenancy so I would love the opportunity to look after a dog at the weekends. I work full time, mostly in the office but will be available on weekends (Friday night- Sunday night) and then potentially some week nights too I have a large fenced garden and a huge park nearby to the house for lots of walks if necessary. happy to accommodate all needs

About: My brother owns a cat and two dogs and I frequently house sit for them for long weekends and recently for 3 weeks whilst they were abroad. I love the company of both cats and dogs, and regularly take breaks in my days working from home to shower them with affection and treats (if allowed!). Since moving to live alone, I’ve missed the good company of cats and dogs around the house so it would be my pleasure to look after your furry friends. My parents own a cockapoo dog, who I walk and look after regularly, so I’m used to taking dogs for walks & generally caring for dogs too. I work from home as a marketing manager on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays, and work in London the other days during the week, so your lovely pets will never be left alone too long. I can go for walks quite frequently during the day, during lunchtime on weekdays and before and straight after work.
