I’m a dog agility enthusiast with significant agility training under my belt including regular shows and competitions. We currently have a friendly 5 year old female labrador who would be around when pet sitting or walking! I work from home full time, my meetings are in a bedroom so dogs will always have company. Only have a couple of meetings a day on teams, so aLeah’s around and available for walks, toilet breaks & cuddles. I have a fully fenced back garden which is secure. Lots of beds and/or comfortable sofas to sleep on, and miles of local countryside walks to enjoy on the common.

“Theo is a true professional. Before finding him, I’d contacted more than five pet sitters on Pawshake and Rover, most either never replied, disappeared halfway through the chat, or, in the worst case, one I’d booked and paid for on Rover ( high review ) simply didn’t show up for the meet-and-greet she scheduled herself. No message, no explanation. I quickly realized many sitters treat this as a casual side job, and it really shows. Contacting Theo was my last resort before sending my cats to boarding, which I knew would cause them a lot of stress. Even though he’s based in another city, he responded promptly when I reached out less than two weeks before my trip. The meet-and-greet went smoothly, and his professionalism was clear from the start. I was still a bit skeptical since this was my first time hiring a sitter after so many unreliable experiences, but Theo quickly earned my trust. He was always responsive with messages, sent video updates, and discussed what’s happening with the cats throughout my trip. One of my cats is very sensitive to change, when I tried boarding him before, he stopped eating for a week.....but with Theo’s calm and experienced handling, he started eating normally again within two days, even finishing his bowl (which is rare!). I also asked Theo to take care of my bonsai while I was away, and he did so carefully. He kept the house clean as well, which I really appreciated coming home to after my trip. All in all, I’ll definitely book Theo again in the future. If you’re on the fence, don’t risk it with part-timers, hire a real professional like Theo.”

About: My name is Liv and I live in Guildford. I work remotely for a charity based in Central London. I don't have a dog myself but have looked after my family & friends fur babies alot, including small dogs (dachshund), medium (2 cockapoos, labrador puppy) larger dogs (golden retrievers)- I've also been a cat sitter (uk and international 👀). Some of these have been for days or weeks. So am exposed to all different shapes, ages and sizes! Whilst I don't have a dog right now, I hope to in the future :) Most of the dogs I've looked after have been friendly. Honestly, I have limited experience with very difficult dogs (i.e. aggressive) which is why I would only like tk start with one dog at a time. That said, I would be happy to look after more than one dog if they are from the same home and used to each other. About: I am a second year vet student and work with animals constantly in university, and own dogs, a cat and a reptile myself. Over the past couple of years I’ve spent my summers and holidays volunteering with all sorts of different animals. I’ve recently finished my recent job contract (Head of Recruitment) and am taking time out to focus on what I really love, being around animals. If I’m sitting for or visiting your pet, they will have my full focus, I won’t be working or leaving them unattended. I’m not looking to do this to make money, but to keep myself and my brain active and spend as much time as possible with the best creatures on earth. If visiting in your home, I would treat it with the utmost respect. Fully able to play with your dog in the garden if you have one and if not, provide mental stimulation and happy to take them on a long or short walk as needed. If I’m feeding a dog I will make sure they have had the right break before and after exercise to lower the risk of bloat. They’ll always have fresh water topped up and will be in the right temperature to be safe and comfortable.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, primarily spaniels, but have cared for a range of others, too. I always like to ensure that the basics of training are instilled for the safety of pets, such as words of command 'wait', 'sit' and 'follow', handy for when out on walks and in potentially dangerous situations like road crossings. I also have experience in clicker training and the teaching of the more "fun" commands 'paw' left and right, for example. While I do work full time I'm always happy to pop out for the hour or a bit for dog feeding and fuss giving but always more than happy to care for the dog as I can work from home and can take them out for regular walks or sit with them if they want a break I have a fenced-in garden, though small, would offer enough space for bathroom breaks and a sniff, and my flat attached would be more than suitable for a day of doggy care if needed

About: Despite not owning a dog myself, I have often taken care of my dads dog and am experienced in dog walking and sitting her. I always have had a passion for animals of all shapes and sizes and can promise your pets will be loved and taken care of with the upmost respect.
