About: “I’m a reliable and attentive pet lover with hands-on experience caring for animals for family and friends. I previously raised and cared for my own dog from a young age, helping with basic puppy training, daily walks, feeding, and playtime. I’ve also looked after a friend’s dog for a weekend while they were away and currently care for my parents’ cats during their holidays. I focus on building trust with both pets and their owners by keeping to their routines, being patient and attentive to each pet’s personality, and providing regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they’re away. I always treat every pet with the same care and attention I would give my own. I work from home 3 out of 5 day a week. I’m available for walks and feeding during the week. Throughout the weekend I can do overnight stays, as well as walks and feeding through the weekend. For overnight stays I would need at least 7 days notice so I can plan ahead. When caring for pets in the owner’s home, I make sure to follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. This includes feeding them at their normal times, taking dogs out for walks and exercise, and making sure they have plenty of playtime and attention. I also keep their living areas clean, such as refreshing water, cleaning litter trays for cats, and ensuring everything is tidy. I’m very respectful of the owner’s home and always communicate with updates and photos so they feel reassured that their pet is happy and well looked after while they’re away.

“An amazing experience from beginning to end. We initially met Elliot a month before the sit for a dog walk and it was clear straight away he was excellent with dogs. I was extremely anxious about leaving them (both rescues who can be nervous) which Elliot realised and reassured me on that day and in some messages prior to the stay. He arrived on time, sent is daily videos and updates and allowed us to enjoy every second of our holiday. The dogs loved him and seemed disappointed when we got home! Also we came home to 2 happy dogs but also a house that had been cleaned with the bed linen done, which made a real difference after a long flight! Would really recommend Elliot for both his ability to look after the dogs, but also due to his excellent communication. We look forward to going away again with the reassurance of knowing such a great sitter.”
