I can’t have any animals at my house (due to a unfriendly rescue dog) so I would be caring for your pet in their home. I always treat other peoples homes exactly like my own (but keeping them tidier than my bedroom !), cleaning the areas of the house I have used before I leave so it will be the same as when you left. I will follow your pets requirements for their diet/ toys they have/ treats etc when I’m looking after them.

I will need to know their diet and the sort of time they eat/ are walked. How well they get on with other dogs/ people to account for when walking. If they have any special requirements etc so I can provide the best care for them whilst you are away, and try to stick to a normal routine for them to minimise any stress ! :) Also, I often ask to briefly come over and meet the pet so I can double check that everything will be suitable before commitments are made, for the best interest of your pet, and myself.
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks along the beach, or in the woods. I also like to do different walks to provide them with different experiences ! I am a very active person so your pets will be well exercised, and of course cuddled lots !

Hello everyone ! I’m a second year Vet Student, studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Surrey . I am very confident with animal handling, from being around different animals my whole life, to all the varied work experience I have completed for applying to vet school. Not only would I be giving your pet a huge amount of love and cuddles, but I would make sure they’re healthy in themselves whilst you’re away☺️

Katie was a fabulous sitter for our two cats, she is very knowledgeable and experienced with animals and clearly enjoys engaging with them. I think our cats had a better holiday than we did! Setting everything up and communication with Katie was easy, and she left our house spotless. We can't recommend Katie enough and hope she can sit for us again 😊
Katie was an excellent companion, carer and cuddler of our dog Peggy whilst we were travelling. Super reliable, confident and caring, Katie had an instant bond with our nervous Border terrier. It was also great to get regular updates and pictures too...
