“Rafi sat with the dogs today and was brilliant. The dogs were so happy and relaxed with her and she gave them a fun game too. Thank you, Rafi! Look forward to you coming back soon.”

“I recently had the pleasure of using Amanda's services to take care of my two dogs in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From our initial meeting, she put our worries at ease by answering all our questions and being very accommodating. It was clear that Amanda is a true animal lover with a genuine passion for taking care of pets. Throughout the time I was away, Amanda provided exceptional care, ensuring that my dogs were well-fed, exercised, and received plenty of attention and affection. One of my dogs is elderly and requires a bit more attention and special care, and Amanda handled him wonderfully. She followed all my instructions and went above and beyond to make sure both of my dogs were comfortable and happy. Amanda cared for my dogs in my home, and she also took great care of the place. I received regular updates, including photos, which gave me peace of mind knowing that my dogs were in good hands. It was evident from the photos that Amanda built a strong bond with my dogs. Not only did Amanda take excellent care of my dogs, but she also kept my home tidy and left everything in perfect order. It’s clear that Amanda is reliable, responsible, and dedicated to providing the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. I will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Amanda, for giving my family the peace of mind to enjoy our time away knowing my dogs, especially my elderly one, and my home were in such capable hands!”

“Tatiana was great. Came to meet our puppy few days before and sat with him all day in our home. He had an upset stomach the day after (nothing Tatiana has done its a side effect from vaccination) and she was so worried was texting us asking how he was days after. She cares for dogs and thats all that matters. Will book again ☺️”

About: My experience includes taking care of all ages and breeds and training all ages of dogs for the last 10 years. I have experience with all types of animals (excluding reptiles) and can take care of multiple animals at once. I aim to provide a personalised and joyful experience for your animal, whatever the circumstance. In terms of walking dogs specifically, I have experience with all sizes and strengths of dogs. Having owned many rescues with many emotional traumas, I am very aware of how the care for dogs with painful pasts must differ from those without. Please leave me a message describing your situation and I will let you know how I can best care for/walk your pet to suit you! Pet care and child care are my job, so whenever I’m not with children, I’m with animals! I have my own dog who is happy to be on her own so either she can have a friend to play with or have some nap time to herself! I have a closed garden, a car with suitable seatbelts and my own dog to keep yours company! I try to learn as much as I can about any pets I’ll be taking care of, to make sure they are as safe as possible.

“Rebecca did a great job taking care of Hunter this past weekend. She’s very communicative. Set lots of photos and videos and gave Hunter all the love.. Highly recommended. I will book with Rebecca again in the future. Thank you!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs throughout my life. Regularly trusted by family, friends and neighbours to look after their fur babies! Ranging from small breeds, to larger breeds and elderly dogs that need that extra little bit of love I’m working full time, usually finishing at 6. I’m available for home stays Friday-Sundays, but can do weekdays if that fits your schedule. I’m very adaptable to accommodate your needs! Each pet is unique and I try to make sure I stick to their routines as close as possible. I’ll ensure they are fed, exercised and given as much attention as they desire. I will always keep the pet owners updated with how we are getting on!

About: Hi, I'm Davina! I've grown up around a variety of animals, particularly dogs, and have been caring for friends' and family members' dogs since I was 18. My experience includes overnight stays in owners' homes, daytime drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of cuddles. I've cared for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to larger dogs. Growing up, my grandad had a beautiful Siberian Husky who sparked my love of dogs, and I spent many happy hours helping to look after and play with him. While I don't currently have a dog of my own, it's something I hope to do in the future when I have a home with a garden. For now, I enjoy spending time with other people's pups and ensuring they receive the same care, attention, and affection they get from their families. I currently work Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, which means I'm available for evening walks/ drop-in visits during the week. I'm also available on weekends for walks, drop-ins or overnight stays. If you have any special requests, please feel free to ask! Every visit is tailored to your dog's needs and can include feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks, medication administration (if required), and any other requests you may have. My priority is making sure both you and your dog feel comfortable, happy, and reassured. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can feel daunting, so I aim to provide a caring, reliable service that helps maintain your dog's normal routine and gives you complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Currently Friday to Sunday are most convenient for me. Evenings are also possible as I am out working during the day and home/ available from 6pm. I am in a ground floor apartment with communal grounds. I live right near a beautiful park/ field where I walk daily of an evening.

It is wonderful to leave the dogs, knowing that they are having a fantastic time with Mike. They are so relaxed with him and when we returned, they went straight back to Mike, so clearly very happy to be with him and they see his visits as a treat. Can’t recommend Mike highly enough. Thanks so much, Mike!

I can highly recommend Robert & Lizzie, we had the best experience with them. It was a fairly last minute house sitting request and we even managed to meet up with them a few days prior to the service to introduce them to our dog Lotte. From the first moments of meeting Robert and Lizzie we knew Lotte would be in safe hands, and they liked each other straight away. Their calm nature made us feel instantly ease. Everything went great and we received an update during the day with cute photos. Robert and Lizzie were friendly, punctual and reliable, I would definitely use them again!

Simon & Caitlin looked after our 2 small dogs for a long weekend while we were attending a family event. This was the first time we had ever left the dogs behind so we were a bit anxious - until we met Simon & Caitlin. One of our dogs is very nervous but she took to them immediately as they are very relaxed and obviously used to dogs. They listened carefully to our care instructions which reassured me. The house was clean & tidy when they left and we received daily updates. Would recommend them for pet sitting and would definitely use them again.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Windsor walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Windsor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
