Hi! I’m Raffi, a 27 y/o living in Sunninghill who is mad about dogs! I especially love tricks training, and discovering new walks with my springer/cocker cross, Monty. I’m IMDT-trained and have experience working with dogs both at home and abroad, including training anti-poaching and search-and-rescue dogs in Victoria Falls. I love working on shaping skills with dogs, encouraging them to problem-solve and improve step-by-step towards their final skill. Me and Monty enjoy skills-based work (our favourites are ‘spin’ ‘woof’ and ‘sit pretty’), and he’s still working on new tricks at 12 years old, currently working on ‘boop’. I’m very patient with training and always keep it fun - just let me know if there is something you’ve always wished your dog could do and we can work on it together! Keeping walks exciting is another thing I’m passionate about when it comes to all the dogs I look after, and you’ll find us exploring new paths, playing with toys, sticks, hiding treats, practising tricks, or doing some chasing games. I always aim for walks that exercise both body and mind, so every pup goes home happy and tired!

If you’re going away (even for the day!) you want to know you’ve left your dog in good hands. I’m always happy to provide a plan of the day for what we’ll be doing, which will include any important details you’ve shared (e.g. frequency and quantity of food, exercise needs, frequency of toilet breaks, where she or he is/isn’t allowed to go). If we’re heading off on a walk or run, I always keep dogs on leads unless they have excellent recall and we’ve been on several walks already. We don’t want anyone running off! To provide the best possible experience for your dog, I can also bring toys, treats, even agility equipment to make this day something out of the ordinary!

This was Raffi’s second time taking care of our young man. She arrived on time, walked him, and sent pictures. House was locked back up and secured. We have booked her again!

We recently relocated to the UK from a part of the U.S. where big open boarding facilities are more common. We were nervous about having someone stay at our place, and more nervous that our young man would have been a handful. Raffi visited with us a couple times to get to know us and our dog, so when the 3 night stay finally came, we felt very comfortable with her. She did a fantastic job keeping our boy busy, including driving him to nearby parks, not just walking to the one across the road. She even worked on a new trick with him! We received daily photos and updates. He was exhausted when we got home and the house was spotless. A tired dog is a happy dog! We have already booked Raffi for our next time away! We’d recommend her without any reservations.
Raffi took excellent care of my dogs and provided plenty of updates on them. I appreciate that she’s quick to respond and easily understands dogs in her care.

Zeitplan
Working from home (9-5) means I’m very flexible - early mornings, lunchtime and late afternoon/evening are all great walking times that I can work around. Since all I need is my laptop to work, I can easily come and keep your dog company for the day if you need a sitter (we’ll always pop out for a lunchtime walk and play/train throughout the day).
