Zoe looked after our little pomeranian Wolfie on the hottest day of the year at a whooping 35degrees. She took so much care in ensuring his paws and belly were kept damp and cool often with water to help him cool down. She provided regular status updates on how he was doing and made sure a fan was on for him at all times. I would recommend Zoe for anyone!!

Tara was amazing from start to finish! From first messages she made us feel so comfortable being our first dog and a puppy we had only had with us for a few weeks she offered to come and meet Albie before so he could familiarise with her which put us at ease. On the day Tara was so professional and friendly kept us updated but also didn’t hassle us and came back to a very happy puppy. If you’re looking for someone to take care of your dog we would highly recommend!

We could enjoy our weekend away without having to worry at all, knowing our boy was being perfectly taken care of. Roxana was amazing at providing regular and fun updates to really put our minds at ease. On top of all of that, our house was absolutely spotless to come home to which was so lovely. Thank you for everything Roxana- and see you soon! 🥰🤩

We loved receiving regular updates and adorable photos, which clearly showed our puppy was having the time of her life. It was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable she was, and honestly, we think she didn't want her to leave! We'll definitely be using Ayna again in the future. Jessica was brilliant from start to finish. She came to meet us and the dogs the day before, which really helped put us at ease, especially as this was our first time using a pet sitter. She was very patient and took on board all our instructions and tips (not always easy with a pining Ridgeback!), and she clearly looked after them really well. She kept us updated throughout the evening and was always prompt and clear in her communication. Polite, professional, and a genuinely lovely experience — we wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.

About: I have over four years of professional pet care experience and am passionate about providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals of all kinds. Prior to this, I worked in a veterinary setting, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and wellbeing. I hold certifications in Pet First Aid and have additional training in pet care, pet training, and dog grooming. My background allows me to confidently care for pets with a wide range of needs and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I currently have three dogs and a rabbit, giving me plenty of personal experience with day-to-day animal care. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with many regular clients who trust me to care for their pets as if they were my own. I love meeting new pets and their owners and look forward to providing attentive, professional care for even more furry friends through Rover. This keeps the emphasis on your experience, qualifications, and client relationships, rather than on running your own pet-sitting business, which may fit Rover’s preferences better. My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around the pets in my care. I have regular dog walks throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent exercise, enrichment, and companionship for the dogs I look after. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as overnight stays when arranged in advance. I always follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled. Pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I also provide updates, photos, and messages so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. Safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. With previous experience working in veterinary care and certification in Pet First Aid, I am trained to recognise signs of illness, injury, stress, or discomfort and respond appropriately. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines. Dogs are always walked on secure leads unless owners have specifically approved otherwise in a safe, enclosed area. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, behaviour, and any special requirements before providing care. I maintain a clean, secure environment, regularly check gates, doors, and equipment, and ensure pets are supervised appropriately. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

Hayley took great care of our mini dachshund. He had surgery recently and she took extra care to follow instructions to help with his recovery. She took the time to have a phone call before the day to go over everything. She arrived promptly to ensure that she understand how to assist him. I recommend Hayley for dog-sitting.

About: Hello! I am a passionate animal lover who finds real joy in caring for cats or dogs. I can offer home sitting, boarding, drop in checks and general dog walking services in a safe, fun and loving way. Your dog will enjoy walks in their local area or afar if they can travel in a car (dog hammock for full back seat and dog seat belt are provided for my car), playtime, cuddles on the couch and plenty of attention in a calm environment. Have looked after friends dogs and cats over many years, more regularly in the last two years covering drop ins, boarding, sitting and dog walking. Each time the pets are very happy and content. I currently work remotely from home 3 days a week with 2 days office based so my routine is based around: - AM walk - PM walk Depending on your distance from me and the booking requirements (boarding, sitting, drop-in etc) variations to the above can change and are flexible. - Car travel I provide a fully waterproof back seat hammock and dog seat belt should your dog require exercise at a location that is beyond a reasonable walking distance. - Keep dogs on leads at all times, albeit on an extended/retractable lead if available. Willing to take off lead if permission is provided and your pet shows sufficient recall to me. - Before any booking is confirmed, I will suggest a meet n greet with you and your furry friend to build trust and familiarity where we can then go over specific requirements and personality quirks.

About: I’ve worked with dogs and horses for years now I’m confident when it comes to looking after them and walking them in secure and safe walking areas. I have done six weeks of puppy training and worked with the dog father as a dog walker and at their doggie day care centre nr Pyrford. I gained lots of experience. I have references and I have a current DBS : CRB certification. I am now at University if Brighton doing a degree and would love to continue to work freelance around my studies and help out where I can. I’m usually free in the term holidays and flexible in term time I’m in the Weybridge area during summer holidays I’m self employed and do not have any children or dogs of my own. I therefore have this as my hobbie and job as I love it. I am studying and like to earn my own money and want to continue with my dog caring work and feel this will fit in well for owners and my studies I am Flexible around days as habe some spare time and weekends and maybe even dog sit I currently alive on Campus but have my car with me too. I’m very loving and cuddly I love to care for dogs and puppies. I also have lots of energy for walking with them and playing with them so I find their perfect playtime activity or just cuddle with them if they prefer or are less energetic.

Charlotte is a great sitter! Wilf, our golden retriever, took to her straight away and we felt completely comfortable leaving him in her safe hands. It's worth mentioning that she cared for him during a recent heatwave and she made sure that he was kept as cool as possible, had plenty of fresh water and limited his walks accordingly. She kept us updated with photos, short videos and info each day. We would recommend her 100% to others and would definitely book her again! Many thanks Charlotte!

From meeting Cinthia it is clear that she is a true dog lover and is a perfect companion for anyone's pet. Really importantly she is also very reliable and organised and always responds to request very quickly if I'd had to amend a start time. She follows all the instructions on food and walking with precision and I thoroughly recommend her if you need 100% care for your pet.

FAQs for House Sitting - Woking

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Woking on Rover is £40.25 per night (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 15,596 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Woking. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Woking walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Woking choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 86% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
