Pet care experience
I adore animals and have always owned dogs!
I’ve been brought up around dogs of all sizes and know how to handle puppies and older dogs. I currently have a small dog that I look after when my mum isn’t here or is working. I also have a German Shepard puppy with my boyfriend at his house. I know how to walk and feed dogs and have so much care for them. I also know when a dog isn’t well or has changed behaviour, I don’t panic I stay calm as I know the dog will worry. I have had a German Shepard x Staff and I currently have a chihuahua pug. I don’t mind looking after all sizes as I have had experience with different sizes. If there are any special requirements I don’t mind doing for them as I know some dogs are different.

Lara took great care of my cockapoo and made her feel at home, providing lots of cuddles and company. She came back happy and healthy. I am happy to recommend Lara and will be using her again.
Lara was exceptionally brilliant with our 5 year old dog who had never been left with someone she didn't know before. Not only that she was happy to keep the dog until after midnight as we were attending a wedding. We could not have found a better sitter for our much loved dog and will definitely use Lara again.
Lara has been amazing my little dog had a great time lodging at Lara’s home she put me at ease after leaving him for this first time with a sitter. She kept in touch and shared lovely pictures showing how settled he was. He’s missing his new friends already after his 10 day stay. He was very well looked after and was treated as their own pet. Lots of walks and play with Lara’s dog. Really happy with his stay and will definitely be using Lara for all future away stays.

Lara is a very patient and caring person who is a natural when it comes to dogs. Ever since she first met my dog Pippin (5 year old Cockapoo) they had an immediate trust for each other. Lara has walked her many time and is very good at adapting her energy levels to help the dog stay calm and assured when walking as she can be nervous around other dogs. It is evident that Lara has grown up with dogs and has a caring attitude but is also firm and can be trusted walking dogs of many sizes (as she had a large German Shepherd as a child). I would recommend her as a dog walker.

Schedule
I work from home. My dog gets 3 walks a day. a walk in the morning, afternoon and evening. My schedule is flexible to suit your dogs needs.

I have a fenced garden which is very secured, dogs are welcome all over the house and I have space if dogs need to be crated. I’m happy to make your dog comfortable any way I can.

A typical day
I have a toy box full of toys, garden space and I’m up for having fun any way the dogs need! My dog is quite lazy but my puppy loves to play tug of war mainly so I’m use to a dog with energy!
