About: I have been a dog owner for 7 years and truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I recently lost my own dog, so I really miss having that companionship and would love to give that same care, attention and love to other dogs, especially on weekends and during school holidays. I live in a calm, cool temperature, comfortable flat in St John’s with access to a large nearby field, perfect for walks and playtime. I am reliable, patient, and will treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I work full time during the week, so I’m mainly available for pet care on weekends. This means I can give your dog my full attention, whether that’s for walks, playtime or overnight stays. I’m also available during school holidays and half terms, so I can offer more flexible care during those times. When I’m with your pet, they will have plenty of attention, exercise and company. Your dog will be cared for in a calm, safe and comfortable flat that’s kept at a cool, pleasant temperature. I live close to a large field, which is perfect for regular walks and giving dogs space to run and explore. Your baby will also have a place outside my flat where they can have regular toilet breaks, supervised by myself. Having owned and cared for my own dog for 7 years, I understand how important it is to treat every pet with patience, kindness and attention, just as I would my own.

Drop in visits We were so pleased to find Annie to look after our young cats, Otis and Nina, while we were away for a few days. We had never left them overnight before but Annie reassured us when we met her. She did a fantastic job , not only feeding them etc but getting our rather nervous cats to play with her. She sent detailed reports of each visit as well as lovely photos so that we knew they were being well cared for. We would highly recommend her as a cat-sitter. Gill, Naomi, Otis and Nina.

About: I have had pets in the home for over 10 years. I grew up with 2 whippets, chickens, guinea pigs and fish. I have also looked after a friend’s cat for the last few months which is what inspired me to join Rover. I am a recent graduate from drama school and currently have no other commitments. I am fully available Monday to Friday and some weekend availability I always make sure the pets are left content, comfortable and with everything they need. The home is always left clean, tidy and secure. I always take a photo when I leave to make sure.

Olivia was an amazing cat sitter. I was able to trust her with my cat, Puma, and our house when we were on holiday. She went above and beyond to make sure Puma was good during the heat wave. I would recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a compassionate and skilled cat sitter. Thanks again Olivia!

About: I have over four years of professional pet care experience and am passionate about providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals of all kinds. Prior to this, I worked in a veterinary setting, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for pets and supporting their health and wellbeing. I hold certifications in Pet First Aid and have additional training in pet care, pet training, and dog grooming. My background allows me to confidently care for pets with a wide range of needs and personalities. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I currently have three dogs and a rabbit, giving me plenty of personal experience with day-to-day animal care. Over the years, I have built strong relationships with many regular clients who trust me to care for their pets as if they were my own. I love meeting new pets and their owners and look forward to providing attentive, professional care for even more furry friends through Rover. This keeps the emphasis on your experience, qualifications, and client relationships, rather than on running your own pet-sitting business, which may fit Rover’s preferences better. My schedule is flexible, and I plan my day around the pets in my care. I have regular dog walks throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent exercise, enrichment, and companionship for the dogs I look after. I am available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as overnight stays when arranged in advance. I always follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled. Pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. I also provide updates, photos, and messages so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. Safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. With previous experience working in veterinary care and certification in Pet First Aid, I am trained to recognise signs of illness, injury, stress, or discomfort and respond appropriately. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines. Dogs are always walked on secure leads unless owners have specifically approved otherwise in a safe, enclosed area. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, behaviour, and any special requirements before providing care. I maintain a clean, secure environment, regularly check gates, doors, and equipment, and ensure pets are supervised appropriately. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.

It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treats them with such care and affection. I would absolutely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a reliable and kind sitter, and I'll definitely be booking her again in the future! So happy with Lucy’s service. I needed a last minute booking for my dog and Lucy accommodated me, even squeezing in a quick visit to meet me and Pasha before she went on holiday. Lucy sent updates during her visit which was reassuring to receive as I was out the house for so long! My dog Pasha seemed to love their time together!

About: I am a 4 year qualified vet who is currently working flexibly as a locum vet and looking to fill some of my time helping out owners this summer caring for their lovely pets! My experience started with our family dog who we cared for until the good age of 17. Throughout placements in my veterinary degree, I have had lots of experience in kennels, vet clinics and hospitals over the last 5 years, so I am able to care for dogs who may need specific medical or senior care. Whilst in kennels especiailly, I have really enjoyed walking, entertaining and bathing people’s pets and getting to know their personalities. As a recent graduate, I am taking some time off this summer before starting my new vet job this winter, therefore I have a super flexible routine and am looking to fill my time with some lovely dogs! I have a big fenced garden and space for either a crate or a room for a pet to have to them self. I live near many good walk areas including parks, fields and riverside paths suitable for all dog needs. I also drive so I am able to travel to near your home or take dogs to different areas.

10/10 would recommend in a heartbeat. He was awesome. Followed all the care instructions to the T. Even though it was for only three days he had my Molly all in for cuddles and belly scratches. He replied very quickly and completed the Rover album which I didnt know existed. It was very comforting to see pictures of my baby doing well. ❤️ If I ever need a catsitter I would book with him.

There are 7,834 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Woking. About 90% of Woking sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
