About: Hi! My name is Jas! I am a lover of animals. Sleep, eat, cat repeat x2. I have 3 cats of my own that my partner and I am obsessed with. Growing up I have always been around all kinds of animals. I’ve had multiple family cats, dogs, rabbits, fish and a turtle at one point that we have adopted

About: I'm one of those people who cannot pass a cat by in the street and will always stop for a head-pat or a stroke (if they let me) and find it very difficult to walk by if I'm in a rush. I catsit on a regular basis for my best friend who lives nearby, one of her cats seems to like having me 'round and will always demand a lap-sit and stroke :). Also, for another friend in North London who has a gorgeous Russian Blue - who is the biggest cuddle monster and loves attention. Cats are such individual personalities and I will never force a cat to cuddle or play if they don't want to. I have owned 3 cats in the past: Debby - a shorthair tabby moggy who loved to chase and climb Timmy - a beautiful black shorthair oriental cross (I think his dad was an abbyssinian) who had so much personality and definitely let you know what he was thinking Magic - a stray black and white kitten who turned up on our doorstep and never left, sadly I had to give him up as I have to travel a lot for my career - he went to live with my best friend's mum in the country and hunted as many mice, frogs and baby rabbits as he liked before he crossed the rainbow bridge in March 2024 I now have Miley (born in October 2023 and we got in December 2023) who is the biggest tuxie sass-pants, just like her country music namesake (not my choice of name!). She keeps my elderly mother company when I'm not around, so no need to worry about her not getting the love she needs while I look after your furry friends :)
“Sam is a great guy. He's 100% reliable and trustworthy and was brilliant with my Cavapoo puppy 'Noodle'. Sam is really calm and reassuring and Noodle took to him straight away. It made me feel confident that Noodle was in very safe hands. I had a problem getting cover for one of the days I was away and Sam stepped in and saved the day. I will definitely be booking Sam again 😀”

“We were away for 3 weeks, and Lucas cared for Latte in the last 2. Latte bonded with her instantly (which is rare!😍). Daily photo/video updates showed how happy and relaxed she was.🐈✨ When we returned, she was in the best mood!🥰 Lucas is kind, reliable, and has a natural connection with cats.🥰🧡 Highly recommended & hope to meet her again!🙏”

“Ella was fantastic with my two rescue boys, Bobby and Juan. Juan is quite nervous at first but Ella soon sent me pictures of him cuddling on the sofa and having snuggles! Ella sent me frequent updates and pictures which was very reassuring and helpful for me as an anxious dog mum! Ella is a lovely person, very caring, kind and clearly loves animals. Thank you so much Ella for taking such good care of our boys 🫶🏻”

“Amelia put us at ease with regular updates of our fluffy prince. Great communication and it was definitely obvious that he had fallen for her too as he gave her lots of cuddles. Amelia was very attentive and gave Winston some eye drops when his eye looked a bit weepy. Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you again soon.”

“Joana provided excellent pet-sitting services. She maintained consistent communication, adhered to all instructions, and provided daily photographic updates. Furthermore, she left the home impeccably clean. I highly recommend her services.”

Stephanie is very kind and an amasing pet caregiver! She took care of Murphie, my cat, as like was her own pet. Murphie was comfortable with her all the time and loved to spend the days with her. This was obvious for the pictures and updates she sent me! So while I was away, I could be completely relax that Murphie was in good hands. Besides this, she was very respectful and organised with all the house, that I could find even better than I left. I couldn't recommed her less!!!

Carla was amazing with Poppy. She is clearly a natural. She immediately understood my very energetic but nervous Springer Spaniel. Carla matched Poppy’s energy level and spent a lot of time with her playing ball in the park but she was also ready to cuddle on the sofa. You’ll be very lucky if you have Carla as a dog sitter and I hope she will be available for Poppy very soon Thanks Carla.
Xiangyi looked after our dog for nearly three weeks in our home and was an amazing dog/house sitter! We received lots of photos and updates and our dog was beautifully looked after - as was the house! We would definitely ask her to sit again any time and highly recommend her to others. Thank you Xiangyi so much!!

If Inge is available, book her straight away! She took exceptional care of both our cat, Mister, and our home. She kept us regularly updated throughout, which gave us great peace of mind. On the last evening, Mister came home with a small injury. Inge contacted us straight away, researched the issue, and took him to our vet the following day. She was incredibly caring, responsible, and attentive throughout. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her look after Mister and our home again!

Venice had a lovely time with Christie. Christie kept us updated with photos so we had no concerns and we could see Venice was more than happy. Venice was calm and settled when we returned home at the end of the week. We highly recommend Christie as the perfect cat sitter.

Harvey is a wonderful dog sitter. He has sat for us on multiple occasions for 2 very different types of dogs (older and more chilled; younger and wilder) and every time I know I can trust him to take excellent care. He is kind, considerate and punctual. He asks the right questions and sends photos while we’re out so we can enjoy ourselves knowing Chloe is having a wonderful time. Thanks Harvey!

Kelsey looked after our kitties for a week whilst we were on our honeymoon, she is wonderful with them and we felt very relaxed knowing she was with them and sending us updates on them! Thanks so much Kelsey for looking after them and for sorting the flat out and leaving it so clean! We will definitely be booking for our next holiday!

I felt completely at ease leaving my two boys with Tanika. She sent regular updates and photos, which made such a difference while I was away. Milo and Finn were clearly relaxed and well cared for, and she understood their personalities straight away. I came home to two very happy cats. :) Highly recommend!

Ruthie was brilliant with Nancy our English Bulldog. I could tell immediately that Nancy felt relaxed and happy in her company. Ruthie followed my instructions perfectly and I felt completely at ease leaving Nancy in her capable hands! Would highly recommend and book again 🙂

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
