About: I’ve been surrounded by animals all my life, I currently have a 7 month old mastiff cross and a 13 year old jackahuahua, a cat, 2 snakes and a turtle. I volunteered for an animal rescue charity and I have been a cat sitter for two years I am available at short notice and am mostly available all days. And will make sure I work around other duties so that I can give 100 percent I am happy to either visit once or twice a day or to stay overnight as my partner is at home to care for our animals

We can host dogs up to 15 kgs, as our house is small and I want your dog to have enough space to play and relax. Your dog will have free run of the house and can sleep wherever you prefer if boarding. Our dog, Merlin, is friendly and gets on very well with other dogs, he loves to play but will match your dog’s energy and respect their space. We usually take Merlin out for a 1 hour walk a day or for two shorter walks (about 30 mins each). We can fit into your dog's schedule though as Merlin is happy to go out at any time. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment where your dog can feel relaxed and at home. I understand that every dog owner has their own set of peculiar rules and I will take great care to follow all instructions and schedules provided. We only host one dog at a time, that way your dog can have our undivided attention. We'll provide regular updates, photos, and videos via Rover or WhatsApp, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your dog is settled and having a nice time. Merlin, Anders and I are all eagerly anticipating hosting and getting to know your four-legged friend ^.^ We work from home so our schedule is quite adaptable to your pup. We take Merlin for 2-3 walks a day (each ranging from 20-30 minutes, for a minimum of an hour a day) and for a nice longer walk on weekends. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a comfortable and safe environment where they can feel at ease. This includes offering designated spaces for them to rest and play, regular walks or outdoor activities, and adhering to their feeding and medication schedules as instructed by the owner. Additionally, I ensure that my home is pet-proofed and free of any hazards.

Austeya was simply amazing! Kind, thoughtful, responsible, caring, and Pippi clearly fell in love with her, based on the numerous photos she sent me and the cuddles she was giving (and getting!). As a rescue cat, Pippi has some separation issues, and this was our first long trip away since adopting her. I literally couldn’t have felt more comfortable if I’d been there myself. Austeya communicated regularly and clearly, and sent daily photos of my little one, who was clearly enjoying life. Not only was this my first time leaving Pippi alone that long, it was also my first time having a housesitter, and also using Rover. The process was easy, seamless and we completely lucked out with Austeya herself. Would give 6 stars if we could.
Natasha will tick all your boxes and more! She was really nice with both our dogs and promptly created a WhatsApp group to keep my wife and me updated daily on how the days went. She turned up early so I could give her a run down of where to take Nancy to the toilet and other care instructions which we really appreciated. I can’t recommend Carla highly enough. She immediately understood our very lively but rather nervous Springer spaniel, Poppy. We were able to leave confident that Poppy would have a good time and that Carla would be able to handle any situation. Carla was equally comfortable taking Poppy for a long walk, playing endless games of ball or just cuddling on the sofa. I will most certainly use Carla again and both Poppy and I look forward to her next visit.
