It’s just me and my cat
Hello, I'm Jenika and I love taking walks in nature, taking care of my houseplants, and creating things like paintings, crochet and of course I love animals! (Vegan) I have a cat, Moony (6 years old), who is a spoilt little baby that just can't get enough treats, she's super curious and friendly but is just as sassy too. I believe that all animals deserve the same rights and respect as humans. I am an empathetic, compassionate and understanding person who thoroughly enjoys getting to know the individual personalities of our animal friends and adapting to them to help them as much as I possibly can. My baby, Moony is a sassy cat with a lot of attitude and some odd behaviours, she’s an over stimulation cat and has petting aggression, but I quickly learned how to deal with her by respecting her boundaries and also not taking her scratches and bites personally, as I know there is a reason for it! She is a super cuddly affectionate girly too, she’s just complex, as I believe all animals are, and I love getting to know each of their personalities.

I am good at respecting boundaries when entering their home, I will allow them to come to me, lead me around, while also gently encouraging them to sniff me and see what they think themselves. I will bring a toy or treat as an offering too, as I want them to feel safe with me.

Jenika was amazing - sent so many pics while we were away, bought extra treats for our girl and left the place spotless. She’s kind, attentive and conscientious- I can’t recommend her enough.
Jenika has been absolutely amazing. She treated our Archie as if he was her own, and he loved being with her. We honestly could not have asked for more. She sent regular photos and videos, and left our flat looking better than when we left it! Jenika was house sitting for us and she really went above and beyond in caring for our furry lunatic. We really can't thank her enough. I would absolutely recommend Jenika to anyone looking for a sitter.
Jenika went above and beyond, providing exceptional care and peace of mind. Our shy cat warmed up to them immediately. Provided excellent communication and our home was left immaculate. Highly recommended for any cat parent.

Schedule
I am currently available for bookings at anytime, I am eager to meet and care for more cats local to my area. I hope I can be someone people can trust and come back to again for looking after their little fur babies.
- CatsJenika can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
- Please do let me know about any particular behaviours of your cats so I can be more prepared and try not to accidentally do something to scare them or make them feel unsafe. I have a complicated cat myself so I can deal with overstimulation, petting aggression, aggressive cats, and hard biting cats (that’s my Moony)
