About: I’ve cared for dogs of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I truly treat every dog like family. I have experience with larger, active breeds like German Shepherds, gentle and affectionate breeds like Cocker Spaniels, and breeds that need extra care and attention, such as French Bulldogs. I’m very mindful of individual needs, routines, and personalities, whether that’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or lots of cuddles. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medication if needed, leash walking, and keeping dogs safe and happy at all times. I’m patient, attentive, and great at picking up on dogs’ moods and body language, which helps them feel relaxed and secure quickly. I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so you can feel completely at ease while your dog is in my care. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to fully focus on caring for your dog. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to stick closely to your dog’s usual schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. I’m available on weekdays, and I can provide frequent check-ins, companionship, and supervision throughout the day so your dog is never left feeling lonely or rushed. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I follow any instructions you provide carefully and make sure routines are kept consistent to help dogs feel secure and relaxed. I keep a calm, clean, and dog-friendly environment, supervise interactions closely, and ensure dogs are always safely leashed during walks. I’m attentive to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I’m happy to accommodate crate training, special feeding routines, or medications if needed. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while your dog is in my care.
About: I’ve been loving animals since childhood. I had taken care of a cocker spaniel for a friend for three years and also a few lovely cats occasionally. Friends comment me as responsible and trustworthy. I have a flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time to take care of your cats or play with your dogs. I can drop in for your pets or walk your dog. Currently I can drop in to take care of your cats and dogs or I can pick up your dogs for walking. I enjoy both staying indoors and outdoor activities. Your pets will know I genuinely love them.
About: Ask anyone and they will tell you how much I love dogs. I turn my head anytime I see a pooch on the street. I started out looking after a friend's Yorkshire terrier then in lockdown minded dogs for neighbours and locals via Borrow my Doggy. It gave me a good foundation for minding dogs and I found it a joyful addition to my routine. I am currently in between jobs so can afford good quality time. I've looked after senior dogs as well young ones. I'm also familiar with the more nervous temperaments and have learned how to be sensitive to their needs. I'm currently job hunting and so have lots of spare time to attend to play and fun. For longer term bookings, a day or weekend board beforehand really helps me to understand your pet's personality and needs. It also allows them to get a good feel for the home. I live with my dad in a semi detached house with a garden so quite a bit of space. Give them your heart and they will give you theirs" Marley and Me. Love. Pure and simple. But play and interaction is a key component of my care. I like to make a dog feel part of the family and happy to be around us. I take them on their walks in parks ( I have a few nearby) or little days out so they can explore (only when we're confident with each other). I tend not to take them off leash because I don't want to take that risk with your loved dog. I love taking photos of dogs (which I send to owners throughout the stay) and do the odd pet portrait as a hobby.
“Catherine was wonderful with our elderly dog. Kept us updated with videos and photos, and we could see that he was relaxed and happy with her. Great communication and care, and the house was immaculate when we got home. Thanks so much!”

“Thank you so much for looking after my mia. Yan was gentle and amazing . I would highly recommend her.i was grateful to have found her. Thank you for dealing with an anxious pug mum and her pug.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.
“Emilia and her partner Adam were amazing with my puppy! They kept him entertained all day and was evidently well looked after. My flat was left clean and tidy also which is so helpful. I was running late coming back from work and they were willing to stay longer to ensure my puppy was not left alone which was really kind of them. I would definitely recommend Emilia and Adam to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was born! I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from puppies to elderly dogs, and from chihuahuas to shepherd dogs. I am knowledgable about the basic training principals and have experience in supporting owners’ training structure while their pets are under my care. My chihuahua at home is my best best friend. I WFH with flexible schedule. I love going on walks around different neighbourhoods and what’s better than having a furry companion for it?! House/pet-sitting would also be considered based on rapport :) I have experience walking dogs that are more reactive and always remain fully alert to ensure safety for both dogs, owners and the public. Please let me know if your dog is particularly reactive and the common triggers so I may adjust accordingly.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for my own cats and helping friends and family with their pets when needed. Through this experience, I have become confident in feeding routines, administering basic care, monitoring pet behaviour and ensuring animals feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I understand the importance of patience, consistency and following each owner’s instructions carefully. I am comfortable caring for both cats and dogs and always take the time to learn about each pet’s individual personality, routine and needs. My priority is to provide a safe, calm and positive experience while keeping owners updated with regular messages and photos. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide regular attention, feeding, playtime and exercise throughout the day. I make sure pets receive plenty of companionship, care and supervision, and I always follow their usual routines as closely as possible. Whether it’s walks, feeding times, play sessions or simply providing comfort and company, I am committed to making pets feel safe and happy while their owners are away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can stay connected with their pets. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I provide a clean, calm and pet-friendly environment where animals can feel secure and relaxed. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication and daily routines. Pets are always supervised and receive plenty of attention, companionship and care throughout their stay. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs, helping them settle in comfortably and reducing any stress they may feel while away from home. I also keep owners updated with regular messages and photos, so they can have peace of mind knowing their pet is safe, happy and well cared for.
“Aoife took perfect care of our cat and we couldn’t be happier. Our cat was happy, relaxed, and super chilled when we came back home, which says it all. Thank you so much for your kindness and great care — we would definitely reach out for her help again next time!”

About: I have grown up with pets and currently share my home with two cats. I have always been the person my friends turn to when they need someone to look after their dogs — reliable, caring and genuinely passionate about animals. Recently I had the pleasure of looking after my new friends' dogs, and it was a wonderful experience — we bonded so well that I still keep in touch with both the dogs and their owners. I believe animals sense when someone truly cares, and I pour my whole heart into every pet I look after. I treat every animal as if they were my own family. As I work remotely in creative development, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care around my day. I am available on weekdays and weekends and can adapt to the owner's needs and routine. Reliability and consistency are important to me — if I commit to something, you can count on me. When walking dogs, I always keep them safe and pay close attention to their body language. Every dog is different, and I adapt to their needs. I use a lead in busy areas and make sure each walk is enjoyable and stress-free. When sitting at the owner's home, I follow the owner's routine carefully — food, water, any special instructions, so the pet feels comfortable in their own space. I treat every home with care and respect. For me it's not just a job. I genuinely love animals and want every pet to feel happy, safe and loved.

About: Hi, my name is Stephanie and I LOVE dogs and cats and anything with four legs I grew up with dogs and have had them in my life for nearly 50 years. My passion is rescue dogs and all my dogs have been rescues. Now before I go any further....please can I ask you to take a minute and read the following really carefully: I do not live on Olympic Way in Wembley nor in the immediate surrounds and unless your apartment block has parking facilities for collection/delivery/cat visits, or you are prepared to pay parking fees as well, I am so sorry but I cannot help you. Proof of on-site parking permission is also a strict requirement. What I do: I walk 4 dogs together max. If your dog is elderly I can do a half an hour walk @ £10. My areas of collection are Wembley, Kenton, Kingsbury, Sudbury court. I collect, return and walk your dog myself, I do not farm out to others. I can play with your dog - fetch &/or basic training games and I walk in all weathers. I ask that you please give me a 3 hour time period for when you would like your dog to be walked and I will try my best to walk him/her during that time slot. Please also note that I will keep your dog on a lead for walks until I feel that your dog is confident with me and can be trusted to return to me after being let off. Whilst I am principally a dog walker I am able to house/dog sit for you IN YOUR HOUSE whilst you are away (£35 per day and night). I am sorry but I am unable to board dogs in my own home. I am also able to do cat visits in my local area @ £15 per half hour visit, during this time I can play with your cat, fuss them, feed them, change litter etc. I am quite happy to meet up with you and your dog/cat initially at NO charge - contrary to the site specifications as I feel it is only fair that you get an idea about me and I about you and your dog/cat without this being chargeable. Finally, can I ask that you please that you only contact me if you are genuinely looking for a solid and reliable dog walker. Sad to say that I have had many people contact me that have just wasted my time with endless enquiries that have not been followed through. As I mention in my title I have been doing this a long time. I regularly dog/house sit for my own personal clients and have done numerous cat visits. I am recommended to clients through my local vet and I am able to supply many favourable references to my nature and reliability. I'm not sure if this site is showing my fees correctly so I will clarify here that my walks are £18 for a whole hour but you may need to book half an hour slots to pay this rate. Thank you for reading, I look forward to meeting you soon! Further info re schedule... This is my main and only job. I love all animals and they are part of my life it's not about fitting your pet in.... Further info re safety, trust & environment.... I will care for your cat/dog in your home. On walks your dog is my main priority. Not chatting with others or sitting on a park bench.......
About: I have trained my dog myself since he was a puppy and deeply care for animals. I love looking after other pets and will always treat them with care and love, like how I'd treat my own dog. I am free most days. I can easily move my own tasks around to fit any pet sitting needs. I am quite flexible with timings too. I am offering dog walking services and I am always very careful on the routes I take, ensuring it’s a well lit and safe road.
“Sabrina was fantastic at looking after my excitable puppy. She was punctual, polite and an absolute natural with dogs. She kept me updated with pictures and left my house very clean and tidy. My puppy had a lovely time with her and I'm very grateful for the care and attention she gave. Thanks sabrina”

“Second time using Ayesha and will be happy to use her again. She understands the different needs of our 2 dogs(one is old and needs to be given tablets and also requires modified walks). Thanks Ayesha.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Harrow
Ingryd was great while taking care of Zack for 9 days while we were away. She was prompt and active with updates, responses and photos. She also is a very nice human being which made us really like her throughout the time we were away and we felt Zack was safe. I highly recommend her if anyone’s looking for a great pet sitter while they’re away.

Isabella was absolutely brilliant. She showed so much sensitivity and empathy towards Juni who was a bit timid to start with. Isabella stayed in touch throughout the day, spent time forging a bond with Juni who is usually super fussy about who she hangs out with! Juni was happily playing and sitting with Isabella when I got back. I will definitely be asking Isabella to come back ♥️

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Dawson took amazing care of our dog, Rio, while we were away for 10 days. He came for a meet-up and a few sittings beforehand so Rio could get used to him, which was incredibly thoughtful and made all the difference. He was reliable, always on time, and communicated really well throughout. Dawson was also very flexible with the timings we needed, which we appreciated a lot. It’s clear he genuinely loves animals — he was warm, patient, and not at all fazed by Rio’s personality or specific needs. It meant so much to see how he built an incredible bond with Rio, especially since Rio can be quite an anxious dog. The fact that Rio trusted him completely really says it all. Dawson also handled giving Rio his medication and followed all our feeding and care instructions perfectly. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless house. Highly recommend — we’d absolutely trust Dawson to look after Rio and our house again!

Philippa was absolutely perfect -a great dog sitter -our Cockapoo settled with her immediately and made himself at home on her lap and bed! She looked after him and our home so well, following our instructions so we can highly recommend her. A real weight off our minds giving us the freedom and confidence to leave our fur baby! Thank you Philippa😊

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Harrow choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 87% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
