About: Reliable, gentle and experienced pet carer. I’ve looked after dogs for years, handling feeding, play, routines and updates. Pets stay safe, calm and happy with me. I’m fully working from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m available to walk dogs throughout the day. I can give pets plenty of attention, playtime and companionship, with no children at home and a quiet environment. My home is quiet and cosy, with no kids around, so pets settle in easily. Since I work from home full‑time, I’m able to give them plenty of attention, walks, playtime and gentle supervision. I always make sure they feel relaxed, secure and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve been loving animals since childhood. I had taken care of a cocker spaniel for a friend for three years and also a few lovely cats occasionally. Friends comment me as responsible and trustworthy. I have a flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time to take care of your cats or play with your dogs. I can drop in for your pets or walk your dog. Currently I can drop in to take care of your cats and dogs or I can pick up your dogs for walking. I enjoy both staying indoors and outdoor activities. Your pets will know I genuinely love them.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I truly treat every dog like family. I have experience with larger, active breeds like German Shepherds, gentle and affectionate breeds like Cocker Spaniels, and breeds that need extra care and attention, such as French Bulldogs. I’m very mindful of individual needs, routines, and personalities, whether that’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or lots of cuddles. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medication if needed, leash walking, and keeping dogs safe and happy at all times. I’m patient, attentive, and great at picking up on dogs’ moods and body language, which helps them feel relaxed and secure quickly. I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so you can feel completely at ease while your dog is in my care. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to fully focus on caring for your dog. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to stick closely to your dog’s usual schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. I’m available on weekdays, and I can provide frequent check-ins, companionship, and supervision throughout the day so your dog is never left feeling lonely or rushed. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I follow any instructions you provide carefully and make sure routines are kept consistent to help dogs feel secure and relaxed. I keep a calm, clean, and dog-friendly environment, supervise interactions closely, and ensure dogs are always safely leashed during walks. I’m attentive to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I’m happy to accommodate crate training, special feeding routines, or medications if needed. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while your dog is in my care.

About: Hi, I’m Ceire, a passionate animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From energetic Labradors to gentle senior Shih Tzus, I’ve had the privilege of providing attentive, loving care for pups of all kinds. What sets me apart is my ability to quickly understand each dog’s personality and needs. I’m confident caring for high-energy dogs who need structure, play, and regular exercise, as well as older dogs who benefit from a calmer, more gentle approach. I’m also comfortable maintaining routines, reinforcing basic training, and following specific instructions closely, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, or preferred walking habits. I’m reliable, patient, and very detail-oriented, and I always aim to make pets feel safe, settled, and happy in my care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I prioritise clear communication and regular updates to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits really well into my routine. I work from home as a nutritionist which gives me a consistent and structured schedule. This means I’m available for pet care during working hours, and I can plan my time reliably around each booking. I’m used to managing responsibilities and sticking to routines, so I’m very dependable when it comes to feeding times, walks, and check-ins. Overall, my routine allows me to provide consistent, reliable, and attentive care while balancing my professional commitments. I currently offer pet care exclusively in the owner’s home, as I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own familiar environment. This allows me to maintain their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. When caring for pets in their home, I prioritise consistency, cleanliness, and respect for both the pet and the space. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and personality, ensuring they feel safe, settled, and well looked after while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, including photos and videos, so you have complete peace of mind.
About: Ask anyone and they will tell you how much I love dogs. I turn my head anytime I see a pooch on the street. I started out looking after a friend's Yorkshire terrier then in lockdown minded dogs for neighbours and locals via Borrow my Doggy. It gave me a good foundation for minding dogs and I found it a joyful addition to my routine. I am currently in between jobs so can afford good quality time. I've looked after senior dogs as well young ones. I'm also familiar with the more nervous temperaments and have learned how to be sensitive to their needs. I'm currently job hunting and so have lots of spare time to attend to play and fun. For longer term bookings, a day or weekend board beforehand really helps me to understand your pet's personality and needs. It also allows them to get a good feel for the home. I live with my dad in a semi detached house with a garden so quite a bit of space. Give them your heart and they will give you theirs" Marley and Me. Love. Pure and simple. But play and interaction is a key component of my care. I like to make a dog feel part of the family and happy to be around us. I take them on their walks in parks ( I have a few nearby) or little days out so they can explore (only when we're confident with each other). I tend not to take them off leash because I don't want to take that risk with your loved dog. I love taking photos of dogs (which I send to owners throughout the stay) and do the odd pet portrait as a hobby.

About: I am a passionate animal lover with 16 years of experience caring for various pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My goal is to provide a safe, fun, and loving environment for your pets while you're away. Owed 3 dogs, 2 seniors poodle (16 & 15 yrs old) & 1 bichon frise (3 yrs old)🐻🐻❄️ ### Experience - **Pet Sitting:** 16 years experience caring for pets, including feeding, walking, and administering medications. - **Dog Walking:** Regularly walked dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they receive the exercise and attention they need. ### My Approach to Pet Care I believe that each pet has its own personality and needs. I take the time to get to know your pet and their routines, ensuring a smooth transition when you’re away. My approach includes: - **Routine Maintenance:** Sticking to your pet’s regular feeding, exercise, and playtime schedules. - **Personalized Care:** Tailoring activities to suit your pet's preferences, whether it's a leisurely stroll, interactive play, or quiet cuddle time. - **Enrichment Activities:** Engaging pets mentally and physically through games, training, and exploration. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible and am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your pet is happy and healthy. Right now, since I’m unemployed, I’m able to give pet care a lot of time, attention, and consistency throughout my day and week. I build my routine around the pet’s needs, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for at all times. On a daily basis, I focus on regular feeding schedules, fresh water, walks (if needed), and giving plenty of companionship and affection. I also keep an eye on their behaviour and health, which is especially important for senior dogs who may need extra patience, gentle handling, or medication. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can adapt to each pet’s routine—whether that means early morning walks, more frequent toilet breaks, or simply being present to provide comfort and reassurance. I also make time for light grooming, cleaning up after them, and keeping their environment tidy. Overall, pet care is something I can fully prioritise right now, and I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and responsive to each animal’s individual needs. I provide a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment both in my home and when caring for pets in an owner’s home. At home, I have two friendly dogs who are well-socialised and used to being around other animals. I make sure introductions are done gradually so every pet feels comfortable and secure. My home is clean, relaxed, and set up with plenty of space for rest, play, and supervision throughout the day. I’m lucky to have Hatch End Riverside nearby, so dogs in my care get regular walks in a peaceful, natural setting. I tailor walks to each dog’s age and energy level—especially important for senior dogs who may need shorter, gentler outings. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel settled. I follow all feeding instructions, walking schedules, and any specific care needs, including medication if required. I also keep the home tidy and provide updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. Overall, I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, whether they’re with me or in their own home.

About: Hi, my name is Stephanie and I LOVE dogs and cats and anything with four legs I grew up with dogs and have had them in my life for nearly 50 years. My passion is rescue dogs and all my dogs have been rescues. Now before I go any further....please can I ask you to take a minute and read the following really carefully: I do not live on Olympic Way in Wembley nor in the immediate surrounds and unless your apartment block has parking facilities for collection/delivery/cat visits, or you are prepared to pay parking fees as well, I am so sorry but I cannot help you. Proof of on-site parking permission is also a strict requirement. What I do: I walk 4 dogs together max. If your dog is elderly I can do a half an hour walk @ £10. My areas of collection are Wembley, Kenton, Kingsbury, Sudbury court. I collect, return and walk your dog myself, I do not farm out to others. I can play with your dog - fetch &/or basic training games and I walk in all weathers. I ask that you please give me a 3 hour time period for when you would like your dog to be walked and I will try my best to walk him/her during that time slot. Please also note that I will keep your dog on a lead for walks until I feel that your dog is confident with me and can be trusted to return to me after being let off. Whilst I am principally a dog walker I am able to house/dog sit for you IN YOUR HOUSE whilst you are away (£35 per day and night). I am sorry but I am unable to board dogs in my own home. I am also able to do cat visits in my local area @ £15 per half hour visit, during this time I can play with your cat, fuss them, feed them, change litter etc. I am quite happy to meet up with you and your dog/cat initially at NO charge - contrary to the site specifications as I feel it is only fair that you get an idea about me and I about you and your dog/cat without this being chargeable. Finally, can I ask that you please that you only contact me if you are genuinely looking for a solid and reliable dog walker. Sad to say that I have had many people contact me that have just wasted my time with endless enquiries that have not been followed through. As I mention in my title I have been doing this a long time. I regularly dog/house sit for my own personal clients and have done numerous cat visits. I am recommended to clients through my local vet and I am able to supply many favourable references to my nature and reliability. I'm not sure if this site is showing my fees correctly so I will clarify here that my walks are £18 for a whole hour but you may need to book half an hour slots to pay this rate. Thank you for reading, I look forward to meeting you soon! Further info re schedule... This is my main and only job. I love all animals and they are part of my life it's not about fitting your pet in.... Further info re safety, trust & environment.... I will care for your cat/dog in your home. On walks your dog is my main priority. Not chatting with others or sitting on a park bench.......

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: I love dogs and have done since I was little. I have owned two in the past but do not have one at the moment and I miss canine company. I love the honesty and loyalty of dogs and would welcome your furry pal as part of our family. Dogs seem to know I am friendly and are friendly back to me. Our home is the bottom half of a detached Edwardian house in a quiet road and has an enclosed back garden. We have plenty of room for dog company, with only three of us living here. About five minutes' walk away is Harrow Recreation Ground which is large and great for a good exercise session. There are also plenty of other parks and walks within easy driving distance. I'm mainly at home and work part-time around my pet-sitting commitments. My husband and daughter are also here a lot of the time, so there is always plenty of attention for the doggies! We have a fenced garden with a lawn and paved patio area. We are out the back a lot in the summer when the weather is nice.
About: I have owned and cared for pets most of my adult life, different breeds, sizes and life stages, ranging from raising my own puppies to taking extra care of my senior dog who had severe arthritis in her hind legs in the latter stage of her life. Whether it's been my own pet or a friend's/family members, I have put love and care into ensuring the pets needs and happiness are met. I have adopted my own way of taking care of pets from walking them, hygiene care, training and even paying extra attention to nutrition, making sure the pet has a weighed up fresh meal for pets that I've owned but also ensuring your pets food requirements and preference are always met. Through my experience as a pet owner I have done my own extensive research on how to take care of pets better in a more natural way. If you would like to know more on my experience of petcare or have a general question please do not hesitate to ask. I am a care giver to a family member part-time who has health issues but does not need round the clock care, this gives me flexible hours to be able to provide good quality pet care on a weekly basis. Ensuring the safety of the pet and pet owners home by using my knowledge, instinct, awareness and pet owners requirements in a professional manner by really getting to know both the pet and pet owner. Also I am always up for meeting you and your pet on a no obligation basis before any arrangements/payment are made.

Zsuzsanna is a fantastic cat sitter! Great communication, regular updates with photos, videos, and excellent care throughout. It was clear our cat Oliver was content, comfortable, and well looked after. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter. Thank you—we will definitely book again Dejana, Joe and Tallulah

Ingryd is absolutely amazing. We would recommend her to anyone as she takes wonderful care of not only our lovely kitten Socks but also our home! She was fabulous with Socks who already misses her a lot. We will definitely be booking her again as we have complete trust in her!!

Isabella was absolutely brilliant. She showed so much sensitivity and empathy towards Juni who was a bit timid to start with. Isabella stayed in touch throughout the day, spent time forging a bond with Juni who is usually super fussy about who she hangs out with! Juni was happily playing and sitting with Isabella when I got back. I will definitely be asking Isabella to come back ♥️

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Dawson took amazing care of our dog, Rio, while we were away for 10 days. He came for a meet-up and a few sittings beforehand so Rio could get used to him, which was incredibly thoughtful and made all the difference. He was reliable, always on time, and communicated really well throughout. Dawson was also very flexible with the timings we needed, which we appreciated a lot. It’s clear he genuinely loves animals — he was warm, patient, and not at all fazed by Rio’s personality or specific needs. It meant so much to see how he built an incredible bond with Rio, especially since Rio can be quite an anxious dog. The fact that Rio trusted him completely really says it all. Dawson also handled giving Rio his medication and followed all our feeding and care instructions perfectly. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless house. Highly recommend — we’d absolutely trust Dawson to look after Rio and our house again!

Philippa was absolutely perfect -a great dog sitter -our Cockapoo settled with her immediately and made himself at home on her lap and bed! She looked after him and our home so well, following our instructions so we can highly recommend her. A real weight off our minds giving us the freedom and confidence to leave our fur baby! Thank you Philippa😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
