“Catherine was wonderful with our elderly dog. Kept us updated with videos and photos, and we could see that he was relaxed and happy with her. Great communication and care, and the house was immaculate when we got home. Thanks so much!”

“I was initially a bit anxious about leaving my dogs and house with a stranger, but Ayesha is lovely and was the perfect dog/housesitter! We arranged to meet prior to her looking after the dogs. Bailey and Luna liked her straight away, which was very reassuring. Apart from a slight misunderstanding on timings on the first day, everything went really well. Ayesha sent photo and video updates and even a few voice notes. She stripped the bed, hoovered the house and even put the heating on. We came back to a warm, clean house and 2 happy dogs. Thanks Ayesha; I'll certainly be in contact with you again.😊”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I truly treat every dog like family. I have experience with larger, active breeds like German Shepherds, gentle and affectionate breeds like Cocker Spaniels, and breeds that need extra care and attention, such as French Bulldogs. I’m very mindful of individual needs, routines, and personalities, whether that’s energetic playtime, calm companionship, or lots of cuddles. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, administering basic medication if needed, leash walking, and keeping dogs safe and happy at all times. I’m patient, attentive, and great at picking up on dogs’ moods and body language, which helps them feel relaxed and secure quickly. I always keep pet parents updated with messages and photos, so you can feel completely at ease while your dog is in my care. Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to fully focus on caring for your dog. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, allowing me to stick closely to your dog’s usual schedule for walks, feeding, playtime, and rest. I’m available on weekdays, and I can provide frequent check-ins, companionship, and supervision throughout the day so your dog is never left feeling lonely or rushed. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I follow any instructions you provide carefully and make sure routines are kept consistent to help dogs feel secure and relaxed. I keep a calm, clean, and dog-friendly environment, supervise interactions closely, and ensure dogs are always safely leashed during walks. I’m attentive to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I’m happy to accommodate crate training, special feeding routines, or medications if needed. I also keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while your dog is in my care.
“Our rescue dog has found adjusting post lock down very difficult. She hates for any of us to leave as we were all in the house so much and she is very wary of strangers. She was happy straight away with Christina and sat on her lap. So far it has been an excellent relationship.”

About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since I was born! I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, from puppies to elderly dogs, and from chihuahuas to shepherd dogs. I am knowledgable about the basic training principals and have experience in supporting owners’ training structure while their pets are under my care. My chihuahua at home is my best best friend. I WFH with flexible schedule. I love going on walks around different neighbourhoods and what’s better than having a furry companion for it?! House/pet-sitting would also be considered based on rapport :) I have experience walking dogs that are more reactive and always remain fully alert to ensure safety for both dogs, owners and the public. Please let me know if your dog is particularly reactive and the common triggers so I may adjust accordingly.

About: Hi, I’m Shanti. I’m a peaceful, dependable cat, dog and small-animal sitter. I really enjoy spending time with animals and helping them feel safe, very loved and settled while their family are away. Their wellbeing is everything, so I take time to listen in to what they are wanting from me, helping them feel relaxed and understood. I’ve been caring for animals and pet sitting for over 30 years and am experienced with the emotional and physical rehabilitation of rescue dogs & cats. I’ve also had the joy of my own gerbils and fish. Alongside pet sitting, I work in holistic wellbeing as a coach, wellness centre owner, massage therapist and energy healer. This comes in handy when pets want a good massage, belly rub or healing for any areas of discomfort. 😍 In the last few years I have done many private cat and dog sits, as my current digital nomad lifestyle allows for me to combine sits with my other work. Owners love that I’m with their pets for most of the time, and give them lots of love, care and attention, with regular photo / video updates, whilst taking great care of the home. I’m very self sufficient, keep the home clean, tidy, plants watered, post and parcels brought in and happy to assist with extra tasks by arrangement. I currently oversee my wellness centre online so I can work from anywhere in the world that has a good internet connection and a clean and pleasant area to put my laptops. I adore the company of pets and treat them with the same love and care as my own. I take care of pets in the owners home. I currently reside in London with my own car, so can travel pretty much anywhere in the UK and happy to consider sits abroad if the travel is viable.
About: I’ve been loving animals since childhood. I had taken care of a cocker spaniel for a friend for three years and also a few lovely cats occasionally. Friends comment me as responsible and trustworthy. I have a flexible work schedule so I have plenty of time to take care of your cats or play with your dogs. I can drop in for your pets or walk your dog. Currently I can drop in to take care of your cats and dogs or I can pick up your dogs for walking. I enjoy both staying indoors and outdoor activities. Your pets will know I genuinely love them.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life; cats, dogs, rodents, birds, reptiles, you name it! This means I've developed a huge love for all animals and adore spending time with them! I have some experience with administering medications for dogs and guinea pigs, and also dealing with nervous/anxious dogs. I am now able to offer services full time around my regular clients and my own dog, please do enquire as my schedule changes weekly! I cannot currently provide boarding for cats and dogs from my own home due to space, however I am able to board smaller animals such as rodents. Although my own dog is friendly, they would be kept in a separate space with the door closed to ensure they are safe. When caring for pets in your home, I try to keep to their routine as much as I can to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible.

About: Hi, my name is Stephanie and I LOVE dogs and cats and anything with four legs I grew up with dogs and have had them in my life for nearly 50 years. My passion is rescue dogs and all my dogs have been rescues. Now before I go any further....please can I ask you to take a minute and read the following really carefully: I do not live on Olympic Way in Wembley nor in the immediate surrounds and unless your apartment block has parking facilities for collection/delivery/cat visits, or you are prepared to pay parking fees as well, I am so sorry but I cannot help you. Proof of on-site parking permission is also a strict requirement. What I do: I walk 4 dogs together max. If your dog is elderly I can do a half an hour walk @ £10. My areas of collection are Wembley, Kenton, Kingsbury, Sudbury court. I collect, return and walk your dog myself, I do not farm out to others. I can play with your dog - fetch &/or basic training games and I walk in all weathers. I ask that you please give me a 3 hour time period for when you would like your dog to be walked and I will try my best to walk him/her during that time slot. Please also note that I will keep your dog on a lead for walks until I feel that your dog is confident with me and can be trusted to return to me after being let off. Whilst I am principally a dog walker I am able to house/dog sit for you IN YOUR HOUSE whilst you are away (£35 per day and night). I am sorry but I am unable to board dogs in my own home. I am also able to do cat visits in my local area @ £15 per half hour visit, during this time I can play with your cat, fuss them, feed them, change litter etc. I am quite happy to meet up with you and your dog/cat initially at NO charge - contrary to the site specifications as I feel it is only fair that you get an idea about me and I about you and your dog/cat without this being chargeable. Finally, can I ask that you please that you only contact me if you are genuinely looking for a solid and reliable dog walker. Sad to say that I have had many people contact me that have just wasted my time with endless enquiries that have not been followed through. As I mention in my title I have been doing this a long time. I regularly dog/house sit for my own personal clients and have done numerous cat visits. I am recommended to clients through my local vet and I am able to supply many favourable references to my nature and reliability. I'm not sure if this site is showing my fees correctly so I will clarify here that my walks are £18 for a whole hour but you may need to book half an hour slots to pay this rate. Thank you for reading, I look forward to meeting you soon! Further info re schedule... This is my main and only job. I love all animals and they are part of my life it's not about fitting your pet in.... Further info re safety, trust & environment.... I will care for your cat/dog in your home. On walks your dog is my main priority. Not chatting with others or sitting on a park bench.......
About: I have always wanted a puppy of my own but never had the chance as my parents don't allow pets in the house but I’ve grown up around family friends who own puppies and I am very good around them . I offer dog walking around Harrow. I prefer friendly and gentle dogs as it makes me feel welcomed by them and that it will be easy to get along with them . I am quite well organised and very friendly with animals which helps me get along with them . I am available most afternoons and evenings and would love to spend time with your dog. I am working part time this year so I have plenty of time right now to earn some extra income and gain more experience with dogs as I would like to own a dog one day. I am free most early afternoons and weekends. I do not offer boarding but I am happy to come to the pet owners house to look after their pets. I cannot do overnight stays but I can do a daytime sittings
About: I have owned and cared for pets most of my adult life, different breeds, sizes and life stages, ranging from raising my own puppies to taking extra care of my senior dog who had severe arthritis in her hind legs in the latter stage of her life. Whether it's been my own pet or a friend's/family members, I have put love and care into ensuring the pets needs and happiness are met. I have adopted my own way of taking care of pets from walking them, hygiene care, training and even paying extra attention to nutrition, making sure the pet has a weighed up fresh meal for pets that I've owned but also ensuring your pets food requirements and preference are always met. Through my experience as a pet owner I have done my own extensive research on how to take care of pets better in a more natural way. If you would like to know more on my experience of petcare or have a general question please do not hesitate to ask. I am a care giver to a family member part-time who has health issues but does not need round the clock care, this gives me flexible hours to be able to provide good quality pet care on a weekly basis. Ensuring the safety of the pet and pet owners home by using my knowledge, instinct, awareness and pet owners requirements in a professional manner by really getting to know both the pet and pet owner. Also I am always up for meeting you and your pet on a no obligation basis before any arrangements/payment are made.
About: Hello, if you are searching for a pet sitter who is not only dedicated to providing exceptional care and affection to your furry famly members, but is also experienced both as a dog owner and pet sitter - look no further! I offer flexible and customisable pet sitting services to meet the needs of both you and your pets. I live in a house with a beautiful and fence secured garden, where your dog can roam around freely, but I am also happy to look after them at your location. At the moment my schedule is entirely free, as I am working at home and I am intending on providing my services at home, but don't worry it won't compromise on my care after the pet as I always make sure, I plan my schedule beforehand, so the services do not clash. I make sure that they have as many toilets breaks as they need and unlimited access to water and garden. I provide the exercise and/or play, tailored to the dog’s size and individual needs. I feed your pet at the required time, with the food provided by the owner. It is required, that you provide the food for number of reasons, but mainly because I wouldn’t want to give your pet something that they are not used to and that might cause them an upset stomach or allergies. When walking a dog, I am always very cautious of them potentially picking something up and eating it, at the park. I am an absolute dog lover and would never want to cause any harm to your beloved pet. I will always ensure that they are having a great time and are not bored or missing you too much.
About: Ask anyone and they will tell you how much I love dogs. I turn my head anytime I see a pooch on the street. I started out looking after a friend's Yorkshire terrier then in lockdown minded dogs for neighbours and locals via Borrow my Doggy. It gave me a good foundation for minding dogs and I found it a joyful addition to my routine. I am currently in between jobs so can afford good quality time. I've looked after senior dogs as well young ones. I'm also familiar with the more nervous temperaments and have learned how to be sensitive to their needs. I'm currently job hunting and so have lots of spare time to attend to play and fun. For longer term bookings, a day or weekend board beforehand really helps me to understand your pet's personality and needs. It also allows them to get a good feel for the home. I live with my dad in a semi detached house with a garden so quite a bit of space. Give them your heart and they will give you theirs" Marley and Me. Love. Pure and simple. But play and interaction is a key component of my care. I like to make a dog feel part of the family and happy to be around us. I take them on their walks in parks ( I have a few nearby) or little days out so they can explore (only when we're confident with each other). I tend not to take them off leash because I don't want to take that risk with your loved dog. I love taking photos of dogs (which I send to owners throughout the stay) and do the odd pet portrait as a hobby.
“Thank you so much for looking after my mia. Yan was gentle and amazing . I would highly recommend her.i was grateful to have found her. Thank you for dealing with an anxious pug mum and her pug.”

About: I have trained my dog myself since he was a puppy and deeply care for animals. I love looking after other pets and will always treat them with care and love, like how I'd treat my own dog. I am free most days. I can easily move my own tasks around to fit any pet sitting needs. I am quite flexible with timings too. I am offering dog walking services and I am always very careful on the routes I take, ensuring it’s a well lit and safe road.
About: I've always wanted a dog of my own but have never had the time to have one because of work commitments, I also had a very spoilt cat up until last year and she wouldn't have approved of a doggy sister or brother. I currently walk my friend's Labrador and enjoy it so much and would really love to do this more often. I'm hoping to do more walks with my dad to keep us both fit and healthy and a dog would be a lovely added reason to be out and about. I will be responsible and keep your dog safe. Keep it away from any busy roads and keep it on the lead. The nearest park to me is Canons Park but any around the Edgware, Canons Park or Stanmore area would be easy to get to. I’m super responsible and will keep you updated about your pet, will take care of them as if they were my own. Thanks for reading and look forward to hearing from you and looking after your pet when you need me.

Harrow pet owners share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with Ingryd. She stayed with our cat Mia for a weekend and was so attentive, making sure our home was clean and tidy when we returned. We loved the regular photos and video updates she sent. Thank you, Ingryd, we’ll definitely be booking you again!

Isabella was absolutely brilliant. She showed so much sensitivity and empathy towards Juni who was a bit timid to start with. Isabella stayed in touch throughout the day, spent time forging a bond with Juni who is usually super fussy about who she hangs out with! Juni was happily playing and sitting with Isabella when I got back. I will definitely be asking Isabella to come back ♥️

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Dawson took amazing care of our dog, Rio, while we were away for 10 days. He came for a meet-up and a few sittings beforehand so Rio could get used to him, which was incredibly thoughtful and made all the difference. He was reliable, always on time, and communicated really well throughout. Dawson was also very flexible with the timings we needed, which we appreciated a lot. It’s clear he genuinely loves animals — he was warm, patient, and not at all fazed by Rio’s personality or specific needs. It meant so much to see how he built an incredible bond with Rio, especially since Rio can be quite an anxious dog. The fact that Rio trusted him completely really says it all. Dawson also handled giving Rio his medication and followed all our feeding and care instructions perfectly. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless house. Highly recommend — we’d absolutely trust Dawson to look after Rio and our house again!

Philippa was absolutely perfect -a great dog sitter -our Cockapoo settled with her immediately and made himself at home on her lap and bed! She looked after him and our home so well, following our instructions so we can highly recommend her. A real weight off our minds giving us the freedom and confidence to leave our fur baby! Thank you Philippa😊
