We received daily updates, photos and little glimpses of how Teddy was getting on, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was hard for us initially, as we had never left Teddy with someone we didn’t know before. But Rita quickly put us at ease, and it was clear how much love, care and attention she gave our Teddy boy. 🐾❤️ We honestly think Teddy is missing her now that she’s gone — he’s been a little sad since she left! 🥹 We’re so grateful we found Rita. I can accommodate for any needs for your pet.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have gained years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and smaller animals. Over the years, I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ pets, helping with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic care, and providing companionship while they were away. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes( having had an American Akita myself), and temperaments, and I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for in my company. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means sticking to a routine, giving extra exercise, or simply providing plenty of affection and attention. I’m currently working full time but can be made available most evenings during the week. About: Missing my dog, let me spoil yours! I’ve always loved dogs and have had a dog of my own, a rescue dapple Dachshund. She was a very special part of our family, and although I still get to see her a few times a year, I really miss having a dog around day to day. She’s a big part of why I love dogs so much and why I’d love to spend more time with them again. 🐾 I currently work from home 3 days a week and have weekends off, giving me plenty of flexibility. I’m a Triage Nurse Practitioner working with children and adolescents& their parents. Isupport those with mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions, so being patient, caring and understanding of individual needs is a big part of what I do every day. I have plenty of energy and love going for walks, playing, keeping dogs entertained and getting out and about, but I’m equally happy having a good cuddle on the sofa! I’d love the opportunity to give your dog lots of attention, care and companionship, while making sure they feel happy, comfortable and well looked after. I’m also really looking forward to enjoying some lovely doggy companionship again myself! ❤️🐶 Betty was quite an anxious dog, so I have first-hand experience of helping a nervous dog feel safe, comfortable and settled. I understand that some dogs need a little extra patience, reassurance and time to build trust. I currently work from home 3 days a week and have weekends off, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with dogs. I’m able to give them lots of attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I’m quite active and have lots of energy, so I’d be more than happy to fit in walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles depending on what your dog enjoys. My main priority is making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and settled while they’re with me. I’m very adaptable and would always follow the routine, rules and preferences that you have for your dog. If they’re staying in my home, they can have full access to the house if you’re happy for them to. If you’d prefer them to avoid the stairs, we have a door downstairs that can be closed to keep them safely on one level. I have a secure, fenced garden with plenty of grass, so dogs can have space to explore, sniff and relax outside. I also have extra blankets, dog toys and treats that can be shared, although I’d always check with you first before giving them anything. I have a good understanding of caring for dogs, including being aware of foods and things that can be harmful to them. Most importantly, I’d take the time to understand your dog’s individual personality, routine and needs, and do everything I can to make them feel at home, whether that means lots of energetic play and walks, or a quiet spot and plenty of cuddles. 🐶❤️

About: I've been walking, feeding and caring for my own dog and cat for around 4 years, so I'm very comfortable with the day-to-day responsibilities of looking after pets. I also have experience helping my dad with dog walking through Rover, which has given me confidence handling dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and will make sure your pets are well cared for, exercised and given plenty of attention while you're away. I'm reliable, responsible and understand how important it is to keep pets happy, safe and comfortable. I currently study Plumbing Level 2 at college three days a week. Because of college and boxing training, I am generally unavailable on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Fridays I am in college from 10:40am–2:00pm, and on Saturday mornings I have boxing training from 8:00am–10:00am. Other than these commitments, I have a flexible schedule and am available for pet care, dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I also compete in amateur boxing, so there may occasionally be some weekends when I am unavailable due to fights, but I will always keep my availability updated in advance. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and settled. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, get the exercise and attention they need, and that any instructions from the owner are followed carefully. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn about their personality, habits, and any special requirements. I also keep the home tidy and secure and can provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for while they're away. I do not offer boarding in my own home, so all care takes place in the pet's familiar environment.

I also drive and have a second car that I previously used for dog walks, so I’m more than happy transporting muddy paws after countryside adventures or trips to local parks. I’ll be caring for your dog in your own home because I believe that’s where they’re happiest and most comfortable. Staying in familiar surroundings helps reduce stress and allows them to stick to their normal routine while you’re away. About: I’ve taken care of my sisters two French bulldogs, helping them transition into a new home as puppies and also looking after them for long periods of time. I try to help my friends with their dogs as much as possible, taking them for walks as much as I can. I work hybrid which suits dog sitting. I usually work from home Monday and Friday which means I’m available from Friday to Tuesday morning without fail. I also don’t start work until 9am so on the days I work from home I can easily take dogs for walks in the morning or evening depending on preference. My flat has a small balcony that’s gated off and is only accessible by two back doors. There is also room to accommodate a dog bed in both the bedroom and the living room and even room for a dog crate. I also live close to Richmond Park, so the dogs will be provided with walks either at the park or by the river.
