About: I've always been an animal person. Back in India, I have a dog of my own Shadow, he is 6 years old now, he was a very big part of my everyday life, so moving here for my master's degree and being away from him has been really hard. I miss him a lot, and pet sitting feels like a beautiful way to fill that space while giving love and care to other pets. I have hands on experience caring for animals, i looked after my own dog for six years managing his daily routines, walks, feeding time, grooming and emotional needs. I have also babysat a cat for a week, and after coming to the UK, i babysat a dog for 5 days, so I'm comfortable with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether it's going for walks, sticking to feeding schedules, playing, or just sitting quietly with them for company, I make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for. My walks are usually 30-60 minutes depending on the dogs breed, age and temperament. I am available both on weekends and weekdays any time of the day from 10am to 8pm. (Timings are negotiable). I make sure the leash is not too tight or too loose and the dog walks beside me. I adapt my approach to each dog’s behaviour, using calm control for reactive dogs, patience for anxious ones, and engaging, structured walks for high-energy personalities. I can give dogs oral medications. I handle emergencies calmly, responsibly ensuring your dogs safety first while contacting you immediately with clear updates. I also provide regular updates like photos and videos so you know how your dog is doing. I handle one pet at once for walks as I want to give my full attention to them while outside, and 2-3 for house sitting. I offer constant updates to owners every 30-60 mins as the owner suggests. I am currently a student and, although I do not have lectures at the moment, I manage my time around my part-time work and studies. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to dedicate regular time to pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention and companionship they need. I can easily fit pet sitting and dog walking into my daily routine while ensuring each pet receives reliable and caring support. I provide pet sitting in the owner’s home, as I believe pets feel most comfortable and secure in a familiar environment. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that feels natural and stress-free for them. This includes following their feeding schedule, taking them for walks, providing playtime, giving them attention and affection, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable throughout my visit. I also make sure to keep their environment clean and organised, follow any specific instructions from the owner, and provide regular updates so they have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to make every pet feel cared for, happy, and loved while maintaining the routine they are used to.
About: I’ve had pets all my life, from the gorgeous Golden Retriever I had as a child with rabbits and gerbils, to the two lovely and well natured Cockapoos I have now. I’ve been pet sitting, house sitting and dog walking for several years now and love to be a comfort to all furry creatures big and small whilst their families are away. I know I would want someone caring and responsible to love and care for my pups so make sure I can do the same for others. I have cared for elderly dogs with special care needs, anxious dogs, stubborn pets, etc. you name it! I work from home full time so I am available for endless walks, check-ins or house sits at pretty much any time that suits you and your needs. I have two cockapoos in my own home that are very good natured and friendly. I also often pet sit in others home and try to match the family’s current schedule so their pets aren’t disrupted too much.
“Birgitt was great with our puppy! She arrived on time, stayed even longer than expected to accommodate our late come back, and sent us a lot of nice pictures and peace-of-mind updates. Thanks again for your help looking after Pepper :)”

About: Although I’ve been a cat mum for over 10 years, my experience extends beyond felines. For 2 years, I worked alongside a young disabled adult, helping care for her wonderful dog—walking her and assisting with her daily needs 3–4 times a week. This gave me hands-on experience with dogs and a deeper appreciation for their unique personalities. I currently work part-time in neuroscience, researching rare diseases, which allows me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pets. Animals bring me so much joy, and I love spending my free time caring for them—whether that’s playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I’m not afraid to get dirty, and I’m happy to clean up after pets, keep their space tidy, and provide medications if needed. With me, your pets will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own. I work part-time from home, which means I spend every day with my own cat, giving her constant love and attention. This flexible schedule allows me to offer the same dedicated care to your pets. While I’m with your furry loved ones, my mum happily spoils my cat, so you can feel confident knowing your pets are my full focus. When looking after your cat, I’ll ensure fresh food and water, a spotless litter tray, and a safe, relaxed environment. I’ll spend time giving affection, play, and comfort so they feel loved while you are away. My goal is to keep their daily routine as normal as possible, providing the same care and kindness I give to my own beloved fur baby.
About: Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a marine biology Master’s degree graduate, pursing a second MSc in London. I started walking and pet-sitting for neighborhood dogs in middle school. Following that, I became an animal shelter volunteer dog companion, and for 3 years, I walked, trained, and socialized dogs of every shape, size, and personality. After that, I began walking & sitting dogs professionally for 4 years with local clients. I am responsible, experienced, attentive, and I can't wait to meet your dog! Aside from my experience working with dogs professionally, I've been a dog owner since childhood when my family adopted Chancey, a shy retriever mix. He taught me that every dog has different needs, and it's important to be loving and patient with them all! My current dog who lives in New York with my parents is Lila, a 13-year old Black Lab/Beagle mix who loves attention and snacks :) I am a full-time student but have a lot of online components, so if I am pet-sitting I can spend all my time with your dog! I follow exactly how owners prefer me to care for their dog and will adhere to any routines and structures they need. I am seasoned in creating a trusting and happy relationship between myself, a dog, and their owner. I would never put an animal in danger and prioritize their safety and comfort.
About: Hello, I am an enthusiastic animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. From a young age, I have had the pleasure of rescuing dogs from the streets and shelters, forming a deep bond with these incredible animals. Over the past 15 years, I have provided exceptional care for dogs and cats in my neighbourhood and among friends. Walking, playing, and nurturing these furry companions has been a true joy for me. I also volunteer at Dogs Trust in Harefield. Currently, I offer dog walking services in my radius and day care/boarding at your location. In April, I had the fortunate opportunity to rescue two cats within a month. One is Lulu, a 5-year-old beauty I adopted from the RSPCA, and the other is Tippy, a precious 6-month-old kitten who was discovered with his siblings and brought to me when they were just 10 days old. With Lulu's invaluable assistance, we provided round-the-clock care for these little ones, ensuring their chances of survival. As of now, I haven't introduced a dog to our home yet, as I want to give Lulu ample time to adjust after her traumatic past. If you entrust me with the care of your beloved dogs and cats, I guarantee that they will be showered with an abundance of love, affection, and endless playtime. As someone who currently works full-time from the comfort of my home, I often take breaks from staring at my computer screen to venture outside for a refreshing walk and a breath of fresh air. On these occasions, I happily offer to take my neighbours' furry babies along with me. Furthermore, I am more than willing to travel to your location if necessary. I am genuinely excited to meet you and your cherished companion, and I can assure you that they will be in the most safe and nurturing hands. No matter the size of your dog, I am confident in my ability to form a strong bond and provide the utmost care. Effective communication is essential to me, so I will make it a priority to learn the important details about your dog before our first meeting. Rest assured, both you and your furry friend will feel comfortable and at ease in my care. I will provide you with photos and videos of your furry babies so you can relax and be sure that your dog/cat is enjoying their day.
About: Lifelong animal lover with 25 years caring for pets. Owner of three dogs and two cats. I believe walks with dogs bring joy, calm, and great companionship I currently work remotely and have availability in the mornings or afternoon. I enjoy taking breaks and going for walks with furry ones during the day. I am available on weekdays in the morning and afternoon for walks and in-home pet sitting. I can bring my laptop and we can keep each other company
About: I’ve spent seven years caring for my own dog, and I’ve also had three cats and chickens, teaching me the importance of routine, patience, and understanding each pet’s unique personality giving me a well-rounded understanding of different animals. At home pets have always been family, and an essentially part of the household. Personally my French Bulldog Jigz is one of my best friends and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. Over the years, I’ve helped many friends with their pets while they were away, so I’m comfortable with a variety of breeds, personalities, and care needs. As a rugby player, I bring reliability, discipline, and plenty of energy to every visit—I’m active enough to keep up with playful pups, patient with shy cats, and attentive to all the little details that keep pets healthy, happy, and feeling at home. I am currently a uni student with lots of free time to care for and play with your beloved pets. I am especially free during holiday periods as we have breaks away from uni, making me available for house sitting. However, my schedule is extremely malleable making it easy for me to work around you and your prized pets schedule. I’m committed to being a safe and trustworthy presence in both your home and your pet’s routine. I respect every space I enter, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as you left them. I’m very reliable when it comes to following rules, routines, and any specific requests you have for your pets, ensuring they stay comfortable and cared for just the way you prefer. You can count on me to look after your home and maintain a calm, positive environment while you’re away.

“Olena and Bruce took fantastic care of our two small dogs. Their communication was brilliant, and the updates were always fast. It was the first time we'd left our dogs with anyone outside of the family, and it was a great relief to have such reliable and caring people looking after them. We couldn't recommend them highly enough!”

About: Hi there! I’ve taken care of small to medium dogs for years, and as a proud Shiba Inu owner myself, I absolutely love interacting with pets and providing the necessary care they need. Patience is key in my approach, and I’m always happy to tailor updates to owners because I know pets are cherished family members—your dog deserves nothing less! My services include overnight sits, daily dog walking (30-60 minutes of tailored fun like fetch in local parks or gentle neighborhood strolls), feeding, and plenty of playtime or cuddles. Whether it’s energetic zoomies for a young pup or relaxed companionship for a senior, I customize everything to your dog’s breed, age, and personality. My experience comes from hands-on care with my own Shiba Inu (who keeps me on my toes!) and helping friends’ small and medium breeds during holidays and work trips. I’m patient and committed to a safe, loving environment for your flurry family member. I work full-time on weekday but usually from home on Monday and Friday in Hillingdon (near great walking spots), so I’m highly available for mostly weekend but weekdays if schedule allowed! Can’t wait to see your furry family member and keeping them happy, healthy, and tail-wagging! Weekend would be more flexible but weekday would be up for walking or visiting for care. Again happy to tailor what works for the owner. My home has a fenced little garden and around the areas are full of green space for walking/ running. I’ve long lead for “controlled” free roaming too.
“Fantastic care provided by Ayan- my dog loves him and I could see from all the photo updates he sent through that my dog was having a fantastic time playing and meeting new friends, learning and being stimulated. Would really highly recommend him! It was my first time using Rover for dogsitting but Ayan was really easy to communicate with and I felt really comfortable leaving my dog in his care.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Hillingdon is £35

We had the pleasure of having Aanchal to look after our Snoopy overnight, and although it was her very first time caring for Snoopy and she was absolutely fantastic. Aanchal kept us updated every couple of hours with messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. Whenever she wasn’t 100% sure about something, she didn’t make assumptions—she checked with us to make sure she was doing exactly what was best for Snoopy. We really appreciated how thoughtful and conscientious she was. Aanchal didn’t just take wonderful care of Snoopy; she also looked after our home with the same level of care and respect. It was reassuring to know that everything was in such good hands. On top of that, she’s such a lovely person—friendly, easy to talk to, funny, and genuinely caring. She made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aanchal to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter. We’ll definitely be keeping in touch, and she’ll be our first choice whenever we need someone to look after Snoopy again. We’re sure this is just the first of many stays with her. Thank you so much Aanchal for taking such wonderful care of our baby. Highly recommended!!!

I was really nervous about leaving my senior cat for a week when travelling for work - Heather was one of the few sitters that offered overnight sitting and I’m so glad we found her! She’s so lovely and clearly an animal lover. She sent pics and updates, and took great care of my older cat who has quite a few dietary needs. When we came back the flat was spotless. Highly recommend, we’ll def be booking again! Thanks Heather! X

We’ve used Hannah a few times now to look after Caspa and she has been great! We wanted to find someone that Caspa would connect with and we could use regularly, so he has a familiar face. She is aware of his initial anxiety and deals very well with him. She is patient with him and when we return we can see he has been well looked after, thank you Hannah! 🩷

Megan is such a cool person and she completely understood Elune as soon as she entered the house, she has experience with rescues and she bonded with my Elune very quickly, we had no hesitation leaving them to spend the day together. She sent me updates and also treated our home with respect. She also kindly showed up very early in the time interval so we can set off for our event as soon as possible. Megan is also really cool with kids and can create a connection instantly by talking about hobbies and passions. Will definitely keep in touch with Megan and we’d love to have her spend time with Elune! Thank you :)

We asked Sam to house sit for us whilst we were away for a couple of days. Sam was easy to work with, flexible and ensured Blue was not just walked but happy. Sam took the time to play tug-of-war and ball with Blue when he wanted to play. The house was clean upon our return and Sam was responsive to messages and sent daily updates! Also of note, Blue is a large German shepherd with a gentle but sometimes cheeky personality, Sam was able to handle him with ease! I highly recommend Sam and I look forward to seeing him again next time I'm away!

Chloe was absolutely amazing with Leo! He was well looked after, got plenty of walks, and came back happy and relaxed. It’s clear she genuinely cares for the pets she boards and she sends a lot of adorable pictures throughout the stay. I’d definitely recommend booking Chloe if you want peace of mind while you're away!

Danni was great! We had a meet and greet prior to the booking. Caspa is of an anxious temperament and has hyper attachment with me, but Danni made me feel at ease, as she was very calm and dealt very well with Caspa. She sent pictures throughout and kept in touch, as I had asked her to. Followed all instructions re. walks, feeding etc. I have already requested for her to come again. Thank you Danni, look forward to having you over soon xx

Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
