“This was Jessie’s first stay with Gary. We started the process by meeting Gary at his house for an introduction meeting. Gary came across a very experienced dog sitter. On the day Gary took Jessie out for two walks and posted some photos on Rover. Jessie looked so chilled out and relaxed in the photos. We are so happy with how it turned out that we have booked Jessie’s second stay with Gary.”

“Could give Pandora 6 stars! Skye loves her and we know that she is in really good hands when she is with her. We receive updates/pictures throughout the day. She takes care of Skye as it was her own puppy. We could not recommend her more.”

“Emilia looked after Luna perfectly, she was in communication with me during the day care and took Luna out on a nice walk. Luna was happy when I picked her up and we will be using Emilia again for day care!”

About: I’ve got hands-on experience looking after my own dog and two cats, and they’ve taught me so much about the different personalities that make each pet unique. I’ve also taken a puppy training course, so I have a solid understanding of the basics when it comes to training and behaviour. Having my own dog and two cats, I know how hard it can be to leave them, even for a little while. But don’t worry—I’ll care for them as if they were my own! What's included: ✔ Daily reports ✔ Lots of photos and videos ✔ What to bring checklist ✔ Access details pack Pet care is a big part of my daily life. As a pet owner myself, I spend a lot of time walking, feeding, and playing with my dog and two cats, ensuring their needs are met. With a flexible work schedule, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, allowing me to provide focused care and attention throughout the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities. In my home, I offer a secure, pet-friendly space where they can play and relax. We have an extra room where your pet can settle in and familiarise themselves with the space (and the scent of our furry friends!). Gradually, I’ll introduce them to each other to help them get comfortable. Important: To ensure the safety and comfort of all pets, we kindly require all cats and dogs to be defleaed before their stay.

“Kimberley was amazing, made us feel confident with leaving Whiskey with her and assured us that everything was going to be alright. Whiskey is a hard dog to have because of his working line breed specific needs that has to be met and with all the updates that Kimberley provided we can see each and every need being met. He came back a happy dog with no issues what so ever! I can’t recommend Kimberley enough and will be using her dog sitting service in the future and I think you should as well.”

“Veena was extremely accommodating with my puppy. She sent regular pictures and videos to update me. He had a great time there and didn’t want to leave! Thank you for looking after him.”

About: I’ve been brought up around animals, from dogs, cats to guinea pigs and rabbits. I used to take my dog when he was a puppy to puppy training! I also helped with family members with the pets aswell. I’m a full time student - athlete who lives in a house with friends, who can meet your pet needs. My love for sport means they will have loads of exercise! I’ll make sure to treat your home with respect and care, making sure to keep it tidy and clean. I will also show the care and love to your pets as if they were my own. I am currently a student - athlete who has a flexible timetable. Because of this it means I can put my full priority and time into looking after your loving pets! I make sure to keep the pets active and give them the attention they need. Keeping them fed and there water fresh! Making sure to make sure they are fully tired from the exercise they will receive. Wagging tails guaranteed!
“Edita and her family took really good care of Mister. We got updates from her all the time, which was so reassuring. Mister came home very happy. Would totally leave Mister with her again. Thanks!”

“100% the best sitters ever! Monika and Tomasz were fantastic, they were always so excited and happy to see Bonnie (my 5 month puppy). They were so accommodating with times and would keep me updated with what my pup was up to. I know every time she goes to theirs she's going to be so well looked after and loved, I'm happy to leave her knowing she will have the best day. The other dogs their are also so well loved and I have enjoyed seeing them either at drop off or pick up. Great socialisation for my pup too and couldn't be happier with the way they both manage all their doggies. Thank you.”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life, all of whom have been springer spaniels so I know how to handle an energetic pup! Friends and family have therefore relied on me for dogsitting, dog walking, and general loving of their pups. I’m used to pups of all ages from babies to elderly, energetic to lazy, and I love giving every single one of them all the treats and love that they deserve. I’ve recently moved away from home so don’t have any dogs living with me, and would love some little friends to keep me company. I currently work from home, so have all day to spend with your pup. I like to get outside for walks to break up my days, so your pup would be very well cared for while they’re with me. I have a small fenced patio area, which your dog is welcome to roam around and use for the toilet. My house is pet friendly, and I have dog toys that they can play with.
“Leaving Anakin with Yuet was a great experience. She and her partner, took care of Anakin as if he was their own dog, Gwen, their beautiful puppy was a play companion during the entire day. We received as many photos as they could send, they asked relevant questions, and they were very responsive all day, which overall made us feel Anakin was safe and loved. I totally recommend her”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs ever since i was little and still have two dogs now that are very loved and cared for. I love all breads of dogs and am very flexable to work around the owners needs. I am currently studying at brunel university, i only study a few days a week so my days are very flexible and i have a lot of free time to spend with your pets and to give them then love and care they need! I will respect the owners house and privacy when entering their house. I am currently living in a house which has an enclosed garden and is both dog and cat safe. I am also very organised and clean so nothing is ever left lying around!
“Heather was great. She offered to come and meet Ralph before we decided to go ahead with any bookings. I was really thankful for that due to a previous bad experience with a sitter on Rover. She is very friendly and obviously loves dogs. She put me at ease (and Ralph was happy too) and he was his happy self on his return from daycare. Thanks Heather!”

“Thank you Nina for taking such great care of Rex. Normally, Rex suffers with a little bit of separation anxiety, but Nina took the time to understand his needs and made sure he was very comfortable. Nina sent us regular updates throughout the day and Rex seemed incredibly happy and relaxed during his stay. I would definitely recommend Nina!”

About: My husband and I grew up with dogs. When our children started primary school we decided it was time to add to our family by getting our first family dog. Sadly he passed away 10 years ago and as the children had also fled the house it felt too empty so we got our current dog who is a 9 year old Tibetan terrier. We have often looked after our friends and family dogs, including French bulldogs, schnauzers, labradoodles, Labradors and cocker spaniels. We enjoy walking and currently are very lucky as Bruno (our dog) Is as happy to do a 12 mile walk as a couple of short 20 minute walks a day. I work part-time , 2 and a half days a week but my husband works from home on those days, your dog can certainly keep him company under his desk or on the sofa next to him keeping our dog company. We have a large enclosed garden and 2 parks in walking distance. We also have woods and fields a short drive away of your dog would prefer that kind of walk
The median cost per day for doggy day care in Hillingdon is £29

Taika had a great time filled with the company of other dogs which he loves. The booking process was smooth bearing in mind it was made at short notice. Michael responded to all my messages very quickly. He sent me plenty of pictures and updates to let me know how Taika was doing. He built a great rapport with Taika as well which was great to see. I highly recommend him and will use his services in the future.

Jade was so lovely ! I could not imagine leave my dog in better hands 🥰 he was so happy and so tired I could see by him that they played a lot. I’m glad to know that he was in such good hands and all his needs were met! Will definitely be coming to her again ! 😊😊

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
