About: Since a young age I have always loved being surrounded by animals. Over recent years, I have regularly looked after my friends and family members pets, whether it was for a day or a week, and give them lots of attention when they stay over. I work from home full time, which gives me flexibility with my schedule, and I keep my Rover calendar up to date with my availability. I currently live in a ground floor flat with direct access to a fenced off garden. Both adjacent neighbours do not own any animals. I can easily adapt the housing environment to suit your dogs needs.

About: Hi! I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and have personal experience owning a dog, as well as fostering and caring for rescue dogs. Through this, I’ve learnt how important it is to be patient, gentle and understanding, especially because every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from how much I enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them care, attention and companionship. I love going on walks, spending time outdoors, and creating a calm, safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable and looked after. I understand that some dogs may be playful and confident, while others may be nervous, shy or need extra reassurance. I’m happy to take the time to get to know your dog properly and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I’m reliable, caring and responsible, and I would always treat your dog as if they were my own. I don’t have children at home, and I also have some outside space that dogs can use. For safety, I would prefer to care for vaccinated pets, especially if they are coming into my home. I currently have a flexible routine as I’m unemployed so I can make time for dog walking, playtime, feeding and general care during the week. I’m especially happy to help with walks, daytime care, and looking after dogs when owners need extra support. I always aim to create a calm, safe and comfortable environment for every dog. I’ll follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, routines and any specific needs. I don’t have children at home, and I have some outside space that dogs can use with supervision.
“Joanna looked after our Golden Retriever, Broly, incredibly well and he had a fantastic time staying with her. Her kind nature and obvious experience with dogs gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received updates throughout his stay and it was clear he was happy, well cared for, and treated like one of the family. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Joanna again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“Louisa and Dan are a lovely caring couple. They were very accommodating with an introductory visit so that my shy, young dog could familiarise herself a little. I was anxious as I had not left her with anyone before. Louisa and Dan were reassuring. Their calm, confident and loving care of Gracie meant she had the best time and I could tell she'd had a lovely day when I picked her up. I will definitely be asking for Gracie to stay with them again.”

“Biscotti had a great time with Juno! Juno sent updates during the day and took Biscotti for a lovely big walk in the park in middle of the day! I would definitely leave Biscotti with Juno again in the future.”

“My puppy Simba had a relaxed day with Cheuk. Communication was good & easy, and I was sent regular photo updates during the day given it was the first time I was leaving him. Very happy with the extra attention Cheuk gave my dog, going over & above, much appreciated, will be using again. Highly recommend”

About: Myself and Guy are a very loving and responsible couple who have looked after a range of dog breeds (mainly small - medium) from Borrow My Doggy and looking after dogs from friends and family. I also personally grew up with a range of pets; cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, a lizard and a snake (not in the same enclosure!) As a freelance graphic designer, and Guy a freelance production coordinator, we both have the flexibility in our week and the option to work from home which gives us plenty of time and space to look after your pet! We are also home bodies, so we can gladly look after your pet over weekends as well as weekdays. We have a good amount of space in our flat and can happily accommodate your pet, bringing their own bed and toys would be great as we don’t have our own things. We also have a back garden that’s secure, and have direct access to. We also thankfully have excellent large parks we can walk and drive to for long walks and exercise!
“Aline & Kim done an amazing job of having our puppy Bella 🐶💖 I got updates and pictures throughout the day. Very helpful that they offered to collect and drop her back. Bella had the best time and I will be booking with them again!”

About: I've had pets all my life and been pet sitting "professionally" since moving to London 5 years ago. I have been house sitting and caring for a variety of neighbours pets and have experience with all ranges of pet needs. Regular walks, vet visits, administering medication, washing etc. I have also dealt with elderly, diabetic and asthmatic pets and have experience administering insulin injections, asthma pumps and oral medication. I truly love this extra hobby and would be a wonderful carer while you are away. Please contact me if youd like to know more or book me for your next vacation.
“Antonio and Graça are absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating. They have been looking after my puppy, and she absolutely loves spending time with them. I have complete trust and confidence when leaving her in their care, which gives me real peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and caring dog sitters.”

“As the owner of a very clingy dog. It’s refreshing to see him be so excited about spending the day with someone else. Annie is absolutely brilliant and we’re so lucky to have her!”

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, taking great joy in training them as puppies and loving them dearly in their older years. I will treat and love any dog like my own baby! My boyfriend and I live near Ealing Broadway. Between us, we’re available every day for walks, drop ins, doggy day care, and boarding. We are dog obssessed and have plenty of time for play, cuddles, and walks. Also available on weekends for longer adventures in the park or for chilled days at brunch or lounging on the sofa - whatever your pooch prefers! Pets in my care will be treated like part of the family - always safe and comfortable. My house is secure and our dog-friendly sofas make it easy for your pets to feel at home! I also have a lovely garden. We have some amazing parks near by for fun adventures. I’ll always keep dogs on their lead unless we are in a safe and agreed space.
About: I am quite flexible as I work remotely and can be anywhere as long there’s Internet availability. I had 3 cats for 10 years when I was living in Malaysia and love being around them. I frequently groom and feed them well. Since their passing, I feel like there’s a void in my life hence I decide to offer my service so I can share my experience and love for them. I am invested in your cats well being and happiness and will take good care of them. Excellent cuddler. I also have experience walking and looking after my friends dogs. Of course won’t give unnecessary attention if they prefer their own space. Would prefer to pop over first before after on any home sitting jobs. I am quite flexible as I work remotely and can be anywhere as long there’s Internet availability. I wake up 5am everyday and finish gym by 7am. I have spare time between 7-9am. And after 5pm. I can do lunch break in between. I adapt and learn quickly. I will tell you if I’m not the right person per specified job. I do this for the love of animals and looking to adopt a cat soon, in my spare time I love to spend time with fur babies.

About: I'm passionate about dogs of all kinds and have been involved with dogs (& cats) one way or another my whole life. I grew up with dogs and learned first-hand the real-life care they need and deserve. Recently I've been involved in rescuing, fostering and dog-sitting in my home for my local community and have enjoyed it so much I decided creating a profile on Rover would be an excellent idea. But even in my 20's I used to dog-sit in clients' homes regularly, sometimes for up to a month at a time. I'm also a volunteer for the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, a new scheme developed by my dog professional colleagues, to help encourage and support responsible dog ownership, which has helped me improve my own understanding dog interaction and ownership. I've also previously worked as a volunteer for a London-based animal rescue which has contributed to my passion for animal welfare. I'm able to adapt to each dogs personality, size and breed, having looked after everything from big unneutered, untrained Huskies & Bouviers, all the way down to active Jack Russels and Scottish Terriers. I take into account each dogs sensitivities, for example, some dogs do not like contact with other dogs while out on a walk, and some need a good 2 hours out in the park, whereas some only need 2 shorter walks a day. Some dogs need stimulation during the day and others just need a good chunk of downtime to decompress. Each dog is different and I accommodate their needs accordingly. The only reason my partner and I do not currently have a dog is that we would prefer to improve our finances before making the commitment to bringing home a dog. My experience in fostering and owning dogs in the past has helped me understand fully what an important decision it is. So helping others care for their beloved hounds is the next best thing! I am a freelance creative who largely works from home, and only rarely has to work on-site. If that is unavoidable, my partner who is also experienced with dogs will be able to be home. However, if I know I'll be caring for a dog at the time I'll prefer to be home for the entire period, and I will try to arrange it that way. In the mornings, I think it's important to immediately let the dog out into the garden. I also think a walk first thing in the morning is ideal for most breeds as the nights can feel long for dogs. I'd follow their usual feeding routine but if they are fed in the morning I'd do that before the walk as usually they like to do their business after a meal! I can walk a dog up to 1,5 hours to 2 hours at a time if they require it. During the day I keep an eye on them and provide a space they can have to themselves to decompress. If they need a bit of stimulation, I can engage in a few games with them in the garden. My partner and I are "home bodies" so I'm usually home for the whole day except for a short outing to the local shop, and in most cases my partner will also be at home working. A late afternoon/early evening walk is also possible if they need it, sometimes this can be a short walk around a couple of blocks in the neighbourhood or further afield depending on the dog. Evenings are usually very quiet and relaxing but the dog is let out into the garden multiple times before securing the house and heading to bed. The dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom on their bed if that is needed or in our living room. And finally, if the dog enjoys affection and human interaction then I have cuddles available by the truckload! I think it's important to follow a routine that feels healthy, comfortable and safe for the dog. Understanding their needs for diet, sleep, interaction and walking is important. In hot weather I would be sure to walk a dog outside of the hottest times of the day especially for dogs with thick coats. I carry a water bottle with me on walks at all times to ensure the dog is properly hyrdated. Before walking your dog for the first time, I'll check with you if they are comfortable around other dogs and people, or if they prefer not to interact at all. Some dogs are nervous of other dogs, and senior dogs often prefer to be left alone, especially by younger dogs. I'm careful to avoid any interaction that may not be comfortable. Giving a dog plenty of time to stretch their legs and also take in the scents and sounds is important and often the best way to keep them relaxed and content for the whole day ahead. Our home has a fenced garden, no other pets and no children so it provides a relaxing environment for any dog. I'd dedicate a space to put their bed which can be theirs for the duration to sleep and decompress.
“Mo was amazing would 100% recommend , he was able to look after Robbo on super short notice, sent lots of photos/videos of him having fun & clearly knows a lot about different dogs requirements/energy levels/behaviours. I left Truffle with George for the first time a few weeks ago and Truffle seemed to have a lovely time. George sent updates throughout the stay and was kind, attentive and caring with my dog. I will be hesitate leaving Truffle with him again and would highly recommend him to others

We left our puppy lily with Mo for a day and it went really well. Mo is very friendly and relaxed as is his dog tanner. Mo made lily feel at home right away and was great about sending us frequent updates. When she came home, our pup was noticeably calmer and happy. Would highly recommend Mo to anyone.

Paulina is a life saver . Ricci was so happy to go to her , has an amazing day with fun and activities , so relaxed and good night sleep after . We always trust Paulina that Ricci is in his best in her place and hands to look after him . Update is always with many pictures and detailed . Thank you Paulina , 5 stars and above.

Anna Marie was great with Suki. We did a meet and greet before and Suki took an instant liking. Anna Marie house sat for a full day, but since she lives close by,she decided to try and let Suki and her kitten meet. Being a terrier, Suki loves to chase cats, but Anna Marie managed to get the kitten and Suki have a gentle play together, which I was shocked she managed to do. Anna Marie was sending me lots of photos and videos showing how she was doing

This was our puppy’s first time away from home and we couldn’t be more grateful that Micaela spent the day with him. Micaela is a warm, friendly, responsible professional who loves animals and treated our puppy like her own. She was patient, transparent, communicative and sent lots of pics! She has a beautiful flat and took our puppy to the park to play. It was such a pleasure to meet her. Thank you, Micaela!

Mario was great, Maple was a bit unsure about staying with a stranger since she’s just a puppy but looked really happy when we went to get her. He also took her in pretty short notice which really helped us during this heat wave, would definitely let him watch her again!

So thankful to have found Jessica!! Our dog Amber has small dog syndrome, and doesn’t warm easily to people but after a meet and greet with Jessica we felt so reassured she would be in good hands. Amber spent the day with her and Jessica was so intuitive to her needs, keeping us updated through the day and shared lovely pictures! Will definitely be booking her again, she’s just such a natural with Amber and would highly recommend! Thank you
