“Dolly had the best time staying with Diana and her family. We received regular updates and photos on how Dolly was settling in and Dolly and Akira (Diane's lovely dog) soon became great friends. This was the first time we have used Diana for dog boarding but we will definitely be using again.”

“Tun is amazing. Communication with him has always been easy and smooth. He is so professional, we didn’t have to worry about anything when he was taking care of our dog. He is, of course, a dog lover, and somehow more importantly, he knows so well how to interact with dogs. Not only was our dog taken good care of during his stay with Tun, but Tun also always managed to keep him calm and stable as much as possible. That kind of experience is so, so precious for dogs yet to be mature or still under training. Overall, fascinating experience (for us and for our dog, who unfortunately couldn’t write his own review) and would definitely recommend.”

“We felt nervous leaving Elvis with a new dog sitter but Michal was super responsive to all messages and helped put us at ease. His family were lovely and welcoming when we dropped Elv off, and we felt at ease. Photos were frequent during our break away, and we were happy to see Elvis was being taken care of. Highly recommended, will use again.”

“We were very happy with the way Ruby was looked after. Florent kept us updated with pics and reports and we could see how much love Ruby was getting. She had lots of walks and fun and has come happy, calm and relaxed. Communication with Florent is easy and he is very quick to respond. Highly recommrnd”

“It's a simple review for us when it comes to Jonathan & Michal. It's always a 5! They update regularly to reassure us that Juno is ok and engage with her when she wants to play. She loves being with them and we know she's in the safest of hands. Thanks again for another successful stay!”

“Luna had a wonderful stay with Jon, she was clearly well cared for and came home happy. Received regular photo updates to let us know how she was getting on throughout her stay. She can’t wait for her next sleepover!”

“First booking with Gulin and super happy with the care my dog Bowie received, who had a great fun time. Regular updates on video/text and great flexibility at drop off and pick up; will definitely be booking again 😊👍😎🤩”

“This is the second time Biru has stayed at Antonio’s home for boarding. Seeing how excited she was to reunite with Antonio and Grace truly reassured me that she felt relaxed and comfortable with them. Thank you, Antonio and Grace, for taking such great care of Biru!”

“Cliff and partner are the absolute best, understanding our pet’s needs and also our own with full attention to detail. We are so happy and relaxed about getting them both to take care of things for us when we go away. A real 5 star service - thank you. Robin”

“Tatiana and her husband are wonderful dog sitters. They played with Winnie and sent wonderful updates. They also have great control with Winnie whilst she is on walks, making sure she does not pull (she’s a notorious puller). Thank you so much!”

“We could not be more grateful to Paulina for taking such wonderful care of Milo while we were on holiday. From the moment we dropped him off, she provided constant reassurance with daily updates and photographs, which really put our minds at ease. It was clear Milo was happy and comfortable in her care. He even went back to give her more cuddles when we collected him! Paulina was professional, attentive, and truly considerate of Milo’s needs. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave him in her care again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, responsible, and genuinely caring for their pet. Thank you, Paulina!”

“Valentina was great taking care of Nacho for a week with constant and frequent communication. Would definitely recommend and consider booking her again in the future.”

About: I'm passionate about dogs of all kinds and have been involved with dogs (& cats) one way or another my whole life. I grew up with dogs and learned first-hand the real-life care they need and deserve. Recently I've been involved in rescuing, fostering and dog-sitting in my home for my local community and have enjoyed it so much I decided creating a profile on Rover would be an excellent idea. But even in my 20's I used to dog-sit in clients' homes regularly, sometimes for up to a month at a time. I'm also a volunteer for the Advanced Dog Ownership Initiative, a new scheme developed by my dog professional colleagues, to help encourage and support responsible dog ownership, which has helped me improve my own understanding dog interaction and ownership. I've also previously worked as a volunteer for a London-based animal rescue which has contributed to my passion for animal welfare. I'm able to adapt to each dogs personality, size and breed, having looked after everything from big unneutered, untrained Huskies & Bouviers, all the way down to active Jack Russels and Scottish Terriers. I take into account each dogs sensitivities, for example, some dogs do not like contact with other dogs while out on a walk, and some need a good 2 hours out in the park, whereas some only need 2 shorter walks a day. Some dogs need stimulation during the day and others just need a good chunk of downtime to decompress. Each dog is different and I accommodate their needs accordingly. The only reason my partner and I do not currently have a dog is that we would prefer to improve our finances before making the commitment to bringing home a dog. My experience in fostering and owning dogs in the past has helped me understand fully what an important decision it is. So helping others care for their beloved hounds is the next best thing! I am a freelance creative who largely works from home, and only rarely has to work on-site. If that is unavoidable, my partner who is also experienced with dogs will be able to be home. However, if I know I'll be caring for a dog at the time I'll prefer to be home for the entire period, and I will try to arrange it that way. In the mornings, I think it's important to immediately let the dog out into the garden. I also think a walk first thing in the morning is ideal for most breeds as the nights can feel long for dogs. I'd follow their usual feeding routine but if they are fed in the morning I'd do that before the walk as usually they like to do their business after a meal! I can walk a dog up to 1,5 hours to 2 hours at a time if they require it. During the day I keep an eye on them and provide a space they can have to themselves to decompress. If they need a bit of stimulation, I can engage in a few games with them in the garden. My partner and I are "home bodies" so I'm usually home for the whole day except for a short outing to the local shop, and in most cases my partner will also be at home working. A late afternoon/early evening walk is also possible if they need it, sometimes this can be a short walk around a couple of blocks in the neighbourhood or further afield depending on the dog. Evenings are usually very quiet and relaxing but the dog is let out into the garden multiple times before securing the house and heading to bed. The dog is welcome to sleep in our bedroom on their bed if that is needed or in our living room. And finally, if the dog enjoys affection and human interaction then I have cuddles available by the truckload! I think it's important to follow a routine that feels healthy, comfortable and safe for the dog. Understanding their needs for diet, sleep, interaction and walking is important. In hot weather I would be sure to walk a dog outside of the hottest times of the day especially for dogs with thick coats. I carry a water bottle with me on walks at all times to ensure the dog is properly hyrdated. Before walking your dog for the first time, I'll check with you if they are comfortable around other dogs and people, or if they prefer not to interact at all. Some dogs are nervous of other dogs, and senior dogs often prefer to be left alone, especially by younger dogs. I'm careful to avoid any interaction that may not be comfortable. Giving a dog plenty of time to stretch their legs and also take in the scents and sounds is important and often the best way to keep them relaxed and content for the whole day ahead. Our home has a fenced garden, no other pets and no children so it provides a relaxing environment for any dog. I'd dedicate a space to put their bed which can be theirs for the duration to sleep and decompress.
“Cathy looked after our doggie overnight for the first time, and I couldn’t be happier to have found her! We got loads of photos, communication was brilliant and we could tell that our dog was in great hands. I would absolutely recommend. Thank you, Cathy, for taking such good care of our little one. She can’t wait for her next visit!”

About: I am a lifelong lover of cats who has grown up owning cats, and has regularly looked after solo and multi-cat households, from kittens to senior cats, for friends and family members. I am the proud owner of a diabetic senior cat, so have experience administering insulin injections and adhering to time-sensitive feeding schedules. I am also well aware of the signs of hypoglycemia and lethargy, so senior cats or cats with medical conditions can be left in my capable hands. As every cat has their own unique personality and needs, I'll always take the time to understand their nature and ensure that they are comfortable and happy during their time in my care. Whether your cat is a playful kitten or a gentle senior, I'll make sure to treat them with the love, care and affection!

“I had a great experience leaving my cat Britney with Erica and Louie!! I usually get nervous leaving Britney with new cat sitters but they made me feel comfortable right away with a video call and a meet and greet! They are so easy to communicate with from when I was booking. I also had flight cancellations and they were so accommodating and flexible with shortening Britneys stay which made me feel very at ease. Britney is a shy cat and was exploring and happy from the minute she got to Erica and Louie’s flat. They had toys for her and she was so happy!! I got lots of amazing updates, pictures and videos while I was away which allowed me to have an amazing and stress free holiday. I would 100% leave Britney with them again and really recommend leaving your cat with them 🥰”

“I am so grateful to Rory. My cat Gus really liked him and enjoyed their playtimes together. As Gus's mom, I really appreciated all the communication, and especially the photos. It was reassuring to see Gus was looking well. Rory came about the same time every day which must have been reassuring for my cat. All instructions were carried out and I returned to a clean flat and a happy cat. Rory was great and I would happily use his services again. I have no hesitation recommending him as a cat sitter. Thanks for everything, Rory.”

About: Since a young age I have always loved being surrounded by animals. Over recent years, I have regularly looked after my friends and family members pets, whether it was for a day or a week, and give them lots of attention when they stay over. I work from home full time, which gives me flexibility with my schedule, and I keep my Rover calendar up to date with my availability. I currently live in a ground floor flat with direct access to a fenced off garden. Both adjacent neighbours do not own any animals. I can easily adapt the housing environment to suit your dogs needs.
About: Myself and Guy are a very loving and responsible couple who have looked after a range of dog breeds (mainly small - medium) from Borrow My Doggy and looking after dogs from friends and family. I also personally grew up with a range of pets; cats, rabbits, mice, hamsters, a lizard and a snake (not in the same enclosure!) As a freelance graphic designer, and Guy a freelance production coordinator, we both have the flexibility in our week and the option to work from home which gives us plenty of time and space to look after your pet! We are also home bodies, so we can gladly look after your pet over weekends as well as weekdays. We have a good amount of space in our flat and can happily accommodate your pet, bringing their own bed and toys would be great as we don’t have our own things. We also have a back garden that’s secure, and have direct access to. We also thankfully have excellent large parks we can walk and drive to for long walks and exercise!
“Annie is great with our young pup, Widget. Her place is clean, safe and cheerful. She made sure our dog will be happy there with a trial first, showing how much she cares about her charges. We have been sending Widget to Annie and our dog always comes home happy. Highly recommend.”

I have complete trust and confidence when leaving her in their care, which gives me real peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for kind, reliable, and caring dog sitters.”

About: I am quite flexible as I work remotely and can be anywhere as long there’s Internet availability. I had 3 cats for 10 years when I was living in Malaysia and love being around them. I frequently groom and feed them well. Since their passing, I feel like there’s a void in my life hence I decide to offer my service so I can share my experience and love for them. I am invested in your cats well being and happiness and will take good care of them. Excellent cuddler. I also have experience walking and looking after my friends dogs. Of course won’t give unnecessary attention if they prefer their own space. Would prefer to pop over first before after on any home sitting jobs. I am quite flexible as I work remotely and can be anywhere as long there’s Internet availability. I wake up 5am everyday and finish gym by 7am. I have spare time between 7-9am. And after 5pm. I can do lunch break in between. I adapt and learn quickly. I will tell you if I’m not the right person per specified job. I do this for the love of animals and looking to adopt a cat soon, in my spare time I love to spend time with fur babies.
“Gülin looked after my dog for the day. He seemed to have a great time with lots of playtime. Sent regular updates through the day and didn’t mind me picking him up earlier than planned. Thanks for the flexibility! Will book again.”

“Louisa and Dan are a lovely caring couple. They were very accommodating with an introductory visit so that my shy, young dog could familiarise herself a little. I was anxious as I had not left her with anyone before. Louisa and Dan were reassuring. Their calm, confident and loving care of Gracie meant she had the best time and I could tell she'd had a lovely day when I picked her up. I will definitely be asking for Gracie to stay with them again.”

“Tenny provided great day care for our dog Bowie. Regular pictures and updates were sent and Tenny went above and beyond by giving Bowie a bath when he got a little dirty out playing in the field on his walk (was unnecessary as he really wasn't that messy but much appreciated). Would definitely recommend 5*”

“Joanna looked after our Golden Retriever, Broly, incredibly well and he had a fantastic time staying with her. Her kind nature and obvious experience with dogs gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We received updates throughout his stay and it was clear he was happy, well cared for, and treated like one of the family. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Joanna again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cheuk Yin. She is not only great at communicating but also really understood our boy's moods and needs. The frequent photo updates were lovely and made us feel very relaxed. The biggest compliment is that Oreo actually wanted to turn back to see Cheuk Yin and Biru after we walked away. We will definitely be back!”

About: I am a South African working full- time in London and due to being away from home (and all my furry family) I am looking to my spend time, love and attention with animals. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes, cats and horses. I have always been passionate about animals mostly due to my family’s influence and their love for rescuing animas. I grew up with a rescue cross German Shepherd, a toy-pom terrier, and an English bulldog. And of course there were always at least two cats in the house. I have walked and stayed overnight to look after friends’ dogs including Bulldogs, Labradors and Jack Russell’s but I am comfortable with all dog sizes. I have years of experience giving oral medication to dogs for arthritis, as well as delivering eye drops. I would love to take care of your pet and love it as if it were my own! I can offer company, love and attention that will put your mind at ease and allow you to have a productive day without the concern of your little loved ones. I would take care of your pet with the upmost responsibility with their safety and security as my priority concern. And of course give them all the attention they need! Weekends would be the best time to devote all my attention to pet care as I work hybrid and sometimes need to be in the office last minute. I would make your pet feel as comfortable as possible, your pet would have access to our private outdoor courtyard for fresh air. I would be with the pet at all times to ensure it’s safety.
“Biscotti had a great time with Juno! Juno sent updates during the day and took Biscotti for a lovely big walk in the park in middle of the day! I would definitely leave Biscotti with Juno again in the future.”

About: Hi! I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs and have personal experience owning a dog, as well as fostering and caring for rescue dogs. Through this, I’ve learnt how important it is to be patient, gentle and understanding, especially because every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. My motivation for becoming a pet sitter comes from how much I enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them care, attention and companionship. I love going on walks, spending time outdoors, and creating a calm, safe environment where dogs can feel comfortable and looked after. I understand that some dogs may be playful and confident, while others may be nervous, shy or need extra reassurance. I’m happy to take the time to get to know your dog properly and follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I’m reliable, caring and responsible, and I would always treat your dog as if they were my own. I don’t have children at home, and I also have some outside space that dogs can use. For safety, I would prefer to care for vaccinated pets, especially if they are coming into my home. I currently have a flexible routine as I’m unemployed so I can make time for dog walking, playtime, feeding and general care during the week. I’m especially happy to help with walks, daytime care, and looking after dogs when owners need extra support. I always aim to create a calm, safe and comfortable environment for every dog. I’ll follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walks, routines and any specific needs. I don’t have children at home, and I have some outside space that dogs can use with supervision.

About: We have always had dogs in the family up until recently when our lovely dog passed away in Sept 2024. As we are getting on, we don’t have the same energy to be full time pet parents however we still have so much love to share with pets that this seems to be a great alternative. We are both retired and our schedules are pretty flexible. We have a small garden and we like to take walks around town to get our exercise in. If you have a crate for your pet, it would be most appreciated if you can bring it when your pet comes to stay with us. We have a large warm kitchen where we keep the pets and easy access to a paved garden for any bathroom needs. We are close to several parks within short walking or driving distance. Your pet will be kept indoors unless they are required to go bathroom.
About: Myself and my partner Dan have both grown up with dogs of varying ages, sizes and breeds. I grew up with a lovely westie, Scruffy and more recently a lovable cheeky rescue dog, Milo. Dan has grown up with 8 dogs over the years, varying breeds and sizes, mostly rescue dogs from a shelter in Cyprus where we have both volunteered at when we visit. We look forward to welcoming your dogs into our home or caring for them in your home, treating them as part of our family. We are used to adapting interactions and walks to depending on the dogs, age and needs. Please see our photos for our family dogs and friends dogs we have cared for over the years. Dan works remotely at least 3 days a week and my schedule is pretty flexible from week to week. We are also pretty free on many weekends and can be flexible with you and your pets needs. Please contact us, we’d love to chat and get to know you and your pet(s) before looking after them. We have a private fenced garden at the back of our house. We also live near 2 big parks which we would use for walks. We are adaptable and flexible to work with you and your pets needs.
“Tenny did an amazing job with my dogs. She was reliable, caring, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. The dogs were happy, calm, and well looked after. I’ll definitely be using her services again in the future. So happy to have found someone I can truly trust. Highly recommended!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for animals. At the moment, I live with a twelve-year-old Samoyed, a four-year-old rescue dog, and a rescue cat. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience in feeding, walking, training, and providing daily care for pets of different ages and temperaments. I am truly passionate about animals and committed to ensuring their wellbeing. I am currently studying at MetFilm School, and I have plenty of time at weekends as well as some half-days during the week. This flexible schedule allows me to fit in regular pet care and dog walking without difficulty. Since I already take care of my own dogs and a cat every day, I am used to planning my routine around animals and making sure they get the attention and exercise they need. When looking after pets in an owner’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual routine. I ensure they are fed and exercised on time, provide companionship, and keep their living space clean and tidy. I always aim to give the same level of care and love that I give to my own pets.

George loved his time with Jessica and I will definitely be booking her again (if she lets me!). She catered to Georges needs amazingly and I felt she just 'got' George and his quirks. 100% recommend her! Amazing amazing! Thank you so much Jessica! Hope to see you around Bath soon! x”

“First booking with Gulin and super happy with the care my dog Bowie received, who had a great fun time. Regular updates on video/text and great flexibility at drop off and pick up; will definitely be booking again 😊👍😎🤩”

“Kimberley was amazing, I can't say enough positive things! She's super friendly and lovely and really loves the dogs she looks after and treats them like her own. Stanley isn't good with other dogs (or birds etc) but she wasn't fazed, just took him out to quieter areas and it looks like they had lots of great walks. Kimberley also took the time to send loads of updates and pictures which was brilliant. 100% recommend if you want your dog to have their own amazing holiday while you're away!”

“Pierre is a really great host, very experienced and empathetic. He takes time to ask you about your dog's requirements, keeps you updated regularly during the stay, and does everything he can to ensure your dog is expertly looked after. Also has a nice flat including green areas, which are great for dogs. An amazing host!”

“Tatiana and her husband are wonderful dog sitters. They played with Winnie and sent wonderful updates. They also have great control with Winnie whilst she is on walks, making sure she does not pull (she’s a notorious puller). Thank you so much!”

“Cannot recommend Fernando enough! Gave our dog brilliant care, attention & fuss. Great communication throughout and felt so relaxed leaving our dog with him! Woody is an absolute sweetheart!”

“Dear Tenny I want to sincerely thank you for the incredible care, attention, and kindness you showed to Major while I was away. Knowing that she was in such loving and capable hands gave me genuine peace of mind throughout my time apart. It truly made all the difference. Your thoughtfulness and patience did not go unnoticed, and I could tell how comfortable and happy Major felt with you. It’s not easy to entrust a beloved pet to someone else, but you exceeded every expectation. Warmest regards James”

“George and his partners Georgia were fantastic! They were kind and gentle towards Odie which gave us a great first impressions. They maintained Odies routine and provide us with plenty of photos. Highly recommend. Hopefully they will be free when we next need them.”

About: I owned my first dog when I was 11 years old. I have experience caring for my own dogs, including feeding, walking, and general care. I’m responsible, patient, and enjoy spending time with dogs. I would make sure your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine because I work from home and would love some company for walks during my lunch break. I live in a block of flats with no access to the garden, preferably would like to spend time with your dog in the local park.
