About: I’ve taken care of many dogs while growing up. I used to take in homeless pets and take care of them. I also had my own pets, 2 dogs with puppies and one cat Milo which unfortunately not longer have :( I also had a rabbit and a parrot for 10 years. I have pet sit for my friends and neighbours and received good reviews. Now I am doing Petsitting when I have free time and have clients in the area that will provide good references. I have a very flexible work shift pattern, sometimes being off for 4 days straight. This allows me to be very flexible with my availability for pet sitting. I live in a spacious 2 bedroom flat on the second floor in a quiet residential area. The space is suitable for only 1 pet to ensure I provide the best care.
“Max has looked after Mabel each Wednesday for the last 4 weeks and hopefully many more 😊. She is always happy to see Max and he patiently puts up with her barky arrivals! It sounds like she settles very well and makes herself straight at home! It works perfectly for me as my office is an easy walk from dropping her off. Would definitely recommend 💯”

“Irem was very lovely. She was really communicative and flexible. She is really friendly and warm. Chestnut has a lot of energy but he had a great time with her and I would most definitely book with Irem again.”

“Yogi was clearly well loved! Thank you Yana for taking care of Yogi. I made a really last minute booking; thank you for accommodating my late request. Also really great communication. Thank you again”

About: I've spent the past three years caring for all kinds of pets, from energetic puppies to laid-back senior cats, and it's been a truly rewarding journey. Whether it's pet sitting or dog walking, I love getting to know each animal's unique personality and needs. I've become pretty skilled at recognizing what makes them happy and comfortable, whether that's a game of fetch, a leisurely stroll, or just some good belly rubs. One of the best parts of this job is the bonds I build with both the pets and their owners. It's a great feeling knowing that pets are excited to see me and that their owners have peace of mind while they're away. My goal is always to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for every pet I look after. If you're looking for someone who will treat your furry friend like family, I'm here to help! Mornings start with cheerful greetings and energetic walks, setting a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day, I ensure pets receive timely meals, play sessions, and plenty of affection, all tailored to their unique personalities. Evenings are dedicated to winding down together, whether it's cuddling up indoors or enjoying a leisurely stroll before bedtime. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets in their own homes. I take extra care to ensure that their environment is secure and comfortable. This includes double-checking that doors and gates are properly closed and secure before any outdoor activities. Inside, I'm vigilant about removing any potential hazards like small objects or toxic plants that pets could accidentally ingest. I also maintain a routine of careful supervision during playtime and ensure that any medications or special instructions from pet owners are followed to the letter. By maintaining a safe and loving environment, I aim to provide peace of mind for pet owners, knowing their beloved companions are in good hands.
“India is a wonderful sitter! Tuesday took to her immediately and she kept us updated on all the fun they were having together throughout the day. She also made sure he kept cool during the heatwave and is really well equipped with everything you need from a dog sitter. I picked up a very happy dog at the end of the day :)”

“Matilde was such a lovely sitter for Kahu. Communicated well, very flexible with pick up and drop off times, and made sure Kahu had a fun day! Thanks so much for looking after him. We will be booking with you again in the future!”

“Manuela was a wonderful sitter for our elderly pooch Holly - she arrived on time, was attentive to Holly’s needs and shared regular updates. We couldn’t ask for more, thank you!”

“Alexandra was very sweet and took care of Atlas very well. It looks like he had a lot of fun with her! She paid attention to our requests and she sent us lots of nice photos and videos of their time together.”
About: Hi, i’m an artist and part time yoga teacher, I work from my studio at home. I love animals, something I discovered about myself eighteen years ago, whilst living on an idyllic holiday resort on the Greek islands. It was there I found an abandoned helpless puppy, thrown into a trashcan on the sidewalk. I didn't know it then but this was to be a defining moment and would change my life forever. The love from an animal is always unconditional and has filled me with joy!!! I’d never experienced this kind of love, what a blessing! Some years later we returned to the UK together. He lived a full and happy life and when some, three or so years ago, we lost him to cancer, I was totally crushed. I’ve since adopted a Greek rescue and he`s adorable. I love all dogs and cats alike. I make it my primary focus to give them long walks, the best of nature`s lush and green. At least an hour plus in the mornings and again in the evenings, I'm a firm believer that getting a dog outdoors for plenty of fresh air and meandering walks, makes for a more happy and contented dog. These walks in nature have helped me too. I never walk less than an hour. And I tend to gravitate to more remote areas. I've grown accustomed to the great outdoors my days wouldn't be complete without this lush of green open oasis. I’m around Totteridge and Whetstone area, so lots of interesting walks to be had. I tend to go to Whetstone stray fields, Dorlands nature reserve, Totteridge fields reserve and Brook farm, alternating between these areas to make it interesting for your dog. I’m available for walks in the morning or evening. This is an area full of woodland, pretty meadows, lakes and open fields. These style walks offer your pets everything they need, foraging sniffing and chasing/playing, both soothing and invigorating for all dogs of all breeds and ages. I administer medication on a daily basis for my pet dog as we manage a condition he has called Leishmania. I am flexible/responsible and accommodating to all the needs of pet care. I can tailor the walks to suit your pet/pets. It’s important to me he/she is comfortable and relaxed around me or other dogs. I will only ever have 3 dogs on any walk. And this reflects my fee. I consult with the owners as to their personal preferences. But on the first few walks I prefer to keep dogs on leads just until we build a bond. I like to inquire from the pet owner on specific dietary needs and how frequent the walks should be. I like to be informed on everything before I take on any job.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 2 years. From daily walks and feeding to playtime and cuddles, I’ve gained hands-on experience in providing consistent, loving care. Living right next to a park means dogs in my care enjoy plenty of fresh air, exercise, and fun every day. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially as I work from home. I plan my day around walks, feeding times, and quality time with the dogs in my care. Living right next to a park makes it easy to include regular outdoor exercise and fresh air. Being home most of the day means pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and clean home environment where pets can feel relaxed and at ease. I always follow each pet’s routine carefully, including feeding, walking, and any specific instructions. Living next to a park allows for safe, regular walks, and I ensure dogs are always supervised, whether at home or outside. As I work from home, pets are never left alone for long and receive constant care and attention.
About: I grew up with a medium sized staff and pitbull mix, who was the sweetest family dog! Within my childhood years, I also had a pet tarantula, scorpion, royal python and gerbils. With over 15 years of experience with all sorts of pets, I am very confident in my field. I was as young as 8 years old, and taking my dog for 2-hour walks by choice, even with a garden. I’m just as outdoorsy now, as I was then - so pet or no pet, I’m often outdoors in greenery! As I walk a lot, I bring dogs with me so we are usually out a minimum of 4 times a day. It completely depends on the dogs preference. I’m also very accommodating. I allow dogs and cats to roam freely as long as not on beds and they are good listeners 🐾 For dogs, Monday - Friday I am out with (your) dog/s by 9am, and again at 4pm by default. In between those hours we are out for a walk or a little toilet break 2-3 times. As well as walks or toilet break at 7pm and 10pm. Whether cats, dogs, reptiles etc, I ask your typical established routine so I follow that. Being away from your owner and home is hard enough, so I strive to keep schedules as familiar as possible! I have an enclosed terrace, with some lovely dog and cat neighbours. Even though my terrace has an opening that doesn’t close, there is a gated basketball court that I bring dogs to when empty so they can run off-lead without going to our local parks. I can crate your dog if needed. I am also very happy to give them an entire room (my room or kitchen) that only I would enter and exit, if they are wanting a bigger space to be on their own whilst getting used to us.
“Demi was great with Twiggy and very accommodating to a last minute booking! Twiggy had a fab time and came home exhausted (in the best way) Thanks so much Demi I will definitely book again with you ❤️”

“We are so grateful to have found such a wonderful pet sitter! She was very flexible around our schedule on very short notice and made the whole experience completely stress-free. She worked around our last-minute schedule without any hesitation and made us feel like our doggie was in the best possible hands. Our fur baby was happy, well-cared for, and clearly loved every minute with her. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. If you’re looking for someone reliable, warm, and incredibly accommodating, look no further. We’ll absolutely be booking again — Highly recommended!”

“Wallace had a great time with Aron and his family. They sent us lots of updates with photos and videos and Wallace was relaxed and happy when we collected him. Would definitely go with Aron again!”

“Clio was super friendly and sweet! She was also very communicative, sending us pics of Snickers throughout the day and taking him on many walks despite the on-and-off rain. He seemed to have a great time with her!”

About: Hi, I’m Yuka! I’ve been around dogs for most of my life. My family had our own dog from when I was 13 years old, and my mum was also a dog sitter, so I grew up with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities coming through our home. This gave me valuable experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, temperaments, and routines. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and understand the importance of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering routine care, or simply providing companionship, I always treat every dog as if they were my own. I work from home, which allows me to provide attentive care and supervision throughout the day. I’m reliable, patient, and happy to follow your dog’s usual routine to help them feel settled and relaxed. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I’m currently home full-time and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to provide constant supervision, regular walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of one-to-one attention throughout the day. I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each dog’s routine carefully and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos. My flat has a balcony and is located next to a park, with three large parks within a 10-minute walk for enjoyable daily walks!

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - London
Anna was an incredible sitter for Bruce. She was super welcoming when we arrived and made sure he was relaxed and happy right from the start, with toys and treats waiting for him. Her own dog is so friendly too and they hit it off immediately. Bruce instantly had a new friend. She sent photos and videos every single day showing Bruce settling in and having a great time. It put my mind at ease knowing he was so happy. Highly recommend Anna, I'd definitely have Bruce stay with her again.

Geena looked after our dog for two days and we couldn't be happier with the job she did. Before the days she cared for her, she met with us and asked pertinent questions to ensure she knew all her needs and preferences. She was flexible and accomodating with the timing. We recieved a lot of pictures showing our dog having a great time on walks/playing. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and we'd be more than happy to book with her again.

Francisca is absolutely amazing with Tella. She is incredibly reliable, always keeps me updated, and Tella clearly adores her. Francisca has a natural way with animals, and the best evidence is that Tella comes home completely exhausted and sleeps for hours—they clearly have a brilliant time together. She is excellent with my little girl, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Danny did a great job of looking after our Cavalier King Charles. He was very careful to check her usual routine with us and kept us in touch with how she had settled in. We feel very confident in the quality of care for our dog and would happily recommend Danny.

Macmillan was amazing with Buddy and Coco. He communicated so well with me to arrange pick up and drop off using Rover chat. He was very flexible and he has an obvious affection for dogs and they loved him. He took care of them and was polite and professional throughout the whole transaction. Highly recommend Max to anyone looking for a reliable, genuine sitter. We would definitely book again. Thank you so much.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
