“Libor was so great with Lulu she is sometimes a bit shy with men but she had a lovely time and was very comfortable straight away. Libor kept me updated throughout the day and was very flexible with pick up/drop off times. Thank you!”

About: I’m a working dog owner and have experience with aggressive and nervous breeds. My oldest dog was a family pet, a mastiff cross Rottweiler who unfortunately passed away this April 2026 from Degenerative Myleopathy. My current dog is a 3 year old mastiff/herder mix I participate in dog sports and obedience with. I work from home on my own schedule so I have plenty of time to fit pet care, boarding and day to day care at anytime. I have an outdoor kennel in my 50ft garden and indoor crates for dog’s that need to be kept safe and secure. Alternatively I have dog beds in my home for well behaved dogs those that are used to freedom of movement.
“Stela and Tim were very accommodating of our fairly last minute request for daycare for our dog, Luna. Stela suggested a meet and greet beforehand and we met up in the park so everyone could get acquainted. Stela and Tim kindly kept us updated with messages, photos and videos throughout the day and we were very reassured to see Luna looking relaxed and happy. It’s obvious that Stela and Tim are very experienced at looking after dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving Luna in their care. Would highly recommend.”

“Abby is lovely and has been so loving and affectionate towards my puppy. Abby follows my advice and instructions to ensure my puppy follows his normal routine. Thank you Abby x”

“I could not be happier with both my and Kuma’s experience with Daniel and Brian! They are absolutely the sweetest people, and their maltipoo Ashford is very friendly and good with other dogs and people. It was the perfect match for my dog Kuma, who was previously attacked by a dog. Kuma was so happy in their place and felt very comfortable, he was even trying to invite me inside by running back in their home when I came to pick him up so he clearly didn’t want to leave! Daniel and Brian were extremely pleasant and kind, and were very easy to talk to. They made me feel completely at ease, and they had excellent communication with me throughout. I received lots of cute pictures of Kuma on a walk, playing with Ashford, and enjoying their place. We will be back soon, and I’m so thankful to have found Daniel and Brian to look after Kuma while I’m away.”

“Kay was so fantastic with Obi, very responsive and some lovely updates/photos always shared. Our pup comes back so happy and full of beans so we know he just has the best time and is well cared for 😊”

“Jeanett took really good care of Japser. She made sure he was comfortable during his first time with her and shared regular updates with us throughout the day. Highly recommend!”

“Upasna and husband were fabulous! Chester had a lovely time and was well looked after. Their home is super welcoming and calming and their energy with our dog was warm and kind. Would highly recommend”

About: I've been around dogs for over 10 years and currently have a wonderful 9 yrs old French Bulldog of my own. Over the years, I've also cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs, whether it's taking them for walks, checking in during the day, or looking after them while their owners are away on holiday. Every dog has their own personality, and I always take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I'll care for your dog with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own :) As a part-time baker, I have plenty of flexibility on my days off and am available Monday through Wednesday for walks. I believe every walk should be more than just exercise; it's a chance for dogs to sniff, explore, and enjoy the outdoors at their own pace. I tailor each walk to your dog's energy level, age, and personality, ensuring they get the physical exercise and mental enrichment they need. Safety is always my top priority, and I'll make sure your pup stays hydrated, comfortable, and happy while in my care. Your dog's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I always use secure leashes and harnesses (as provided), avoid unsafe or overly crowded areas, and tailor each walk to your dog's pace and needs. If your dog enjoys social walks, I'm happy to bring my friendly 9 yrs old French Bulldog, Udon, along for company. If your dog prefers one-on-one attention or is reactive, I also offer solo walks to ensure they have a calm, stress-free experience. You can trust that your dog will receive attentive, reliable care from start to finish!
“We’re back to see Jess and as usual she kept me well updated and sent me lots of cute pics of Kuma playing with toys and other dogs! Always super pleased with her care and attention to Kuma. Will definitely be back again ☺️”

About: I’m a true animal lover through and through. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets from dogs, cats, birds, fish to hamsters, rabbits and horses and that hands-on experience shaped the caring approach I bring to every animal I look after. Today I share my home with three adorable mini schnauzers, who keep life fun and active. One of them and I have competed in agility and earned our Canine Good Citizen certification together, so I’m comfortable with basic obedience, focus work, and keeping energetic pups mentally and physically stimulated. I’ve also completed a Canine First Aid course and previously worked at a busy kennel and cattery. That role gave me valuable experience caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats, managing daily routines, supporting nervous or senior pets, and helping owners feel confident while they’re away. Although my full-time career involves caring for people, my heart has always been with animals. I truly enjoy building trust with each pet, learning their unique personality, and giving them the attention, playtime, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s a lively game of fetch, calm cuddle time, or sticking to a specific routine, I treat every animal like part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry (or feathered or scaly!) friends while you’re away you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and well looked after. I am currently working full-time however I have the ability to plan my days accordingly and as flexible as needed. Monday - Sunday availability depending on the needs of the furbaby and their owner. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home. In the pet owner’s home (house-sitting, drop-ins, or walks): I treat the owner’s home with the same care as my own. I follow your exact routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to the letter. I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while still receiving plenty of play, cuddles, and exercise. I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and windows for safety, and I send regular updates with photos so you can see how relaxed and happy your pet is. In my home (boarding or daycare): My house is fully pet-proofed and set up with a secure, fenced garden for safe playtime. I keep a consistent daily routine that includes regular feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My three mini schnauzers are friendly and well-socialized, so new dogs usually settle in quickly. I monitor all pets closely, especially during the first few hours, and separate animals if needed for comfort or safety. Because I’ve completed Canine First Aid training and worked in a kennel, I’m confident handling everything from minor scrapes to emergencies. In both cases, I focus on building trust quickly by being gentle, patient, and attentive. Every pet is treated like part of the family — never left unsupervised in potentially unsafe situations. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pet’s happiness.
“My two dogs spent the evening with Araceli and had a great time! Araceli has looked after my older dog several times before when I just had the one dog, so I felt confident leaving both dogs with her even though the younger one is just 10 months old and it was the first time she’s spent an evening away from me. I will very happily keep using Araceli when I need a dog sitter 😊”

About: Hello! I grew up with a variety of dogs including a Shetland Sheepdog, Border Terrier and Labrador and now often sit for my sister, neighbour and friend’s dogs. I’ve lived in London for almost 20+ years, with 10 being in Camberwell. Socially, I’m very active and am often in the gym, cycling or going for a wander around Camberwell and surrounding areas, so dog walking is the perfect compliment. My flat is relatively spacious to host, but I’m also equally open to house-sit. I’d likely just need to bring my laptop to work. I’ve recently set up my own marketing & comms consultancy so for the majority of my week, I’m working from home. This lends perfectly to house-sitting, walking or dropping in on your dog. I’m in a secure, spacious two bedroom flat on the fourth floor. Whilst there is a balcony, it can be shut off if deemed necessary.
About: I know every dog is different, and I love getting to know their personality, routine, and quirks. I've looked after dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and friends, neighbours, and family regularly trust me with their pets - whether that's walking, feeding, or just keeping them company. Whether your dog is full of energy or happiest with a slow wander and a cuddle on the sofa, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I work from home, so I’m very flexible and able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding and sitting both on weekdays and weekends, and I can easily adapt to your dog’s usual routine for walks, feeding, and playtime. Your dog will never feel ignored or left alone for long. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure environment and always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own and make sure they feel relaxed, safe, and well looked after.
“Sacha and Gina are AMAZING loving humans who will give your fur-babies the best experience while in their care….I’m so glad to have met them! They’ve been looking after Marley for nearly two years and it’s really great to see they’re now on Rover too! I’d highly recommend Sacha as a dog sitter for anyone who dotes on their dog like family; communication is great, I receive regular photo updates and most importantly, Marley seems super happy at their place/ in their presence. There’s magical calming energy for my pupster, what more could we ask for! Marley is already looking forward to his next SPA day/ pooch-pamper time with beautiful loving attention and play! THANK YOU! xx”

“Alina has been amazing today, she kept me updated the whole day and shared photos and videos. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the dog, and she cared a lot for Cloudy today, doing extra things by herself, it shows how much she cares. Thank you so much, 100% recommend her ❤️”

Julia was fantastic ! She made sure she knew all of Hanks needs ahead of time during a quick meet ahead of time. She kept me updated throughout the day with written and photo updates. Would recommend Julia to all dog owners and will definitely be using her again!

Alina has been amazing today, she kept me updated the whole day and shared photos and videos. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the dog, and she cared a lot for Cloudy today, doing extra things by herself, it shows how much she cares. Thank you so much, 100% recommend her ❤️

Sophie is a rescue dog who is normally nervous of people she doesn’t know but with Andrea it was love at first sight 😂. She was so happy to see her and stay with her. Andrea gave us mutiple updates a day which gave us peace of mind to know sophs was doing great. Thanks Andrea for taking good care of our little girl. We would definitely use Andrea again

Fantastic sitter! He was available at very short notice, was incredibly accommodating, and kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. He was great with Cloudy and clearly knew how to handle him. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommended! Thank you

Amazing experience (again) for our baby girl. Bodie always loves visiting Eliana and her family. This booking was a first for an overnight stay and clearly Bodie really enjoys spending time with the family. We will have no concerns recommending Eliana to other dog owners looking for a safe environment for their dogs.
Karen was really good with Bailey. She sent me lots of updates and pictures, which was very reassuring. She also gave Bailey his medication, which was incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend Karen and would be very happy for her to look after Bailey again.

I picked up my lovely ziggy after he spent the day with Ely and I was very happy to see ziggy happy and wagging his tail. Ely is confident and experienced with dogs and followed ziggys routine which is so reassuring. I will definitely be using Ely ongoing. Thanks so much!

It was my first time of using Rover and I was a little anxious but Olivia was great. My dogs were very well looked after, they were so relaxed and contented I’m not sure they noticed I was back with them! Olivia handled any problems or issues (my tricky door lock) calmly and was not phased. I was very happy with the service and I would love Olivia to care for them again (if she was willing to, of course).

Devon was fantastic with taking Bella on short notice so that I could help a friend out for the 2 days. Bella was well cared for on both days little miss fussy pants (I often call her) though Devon found a way arround that. Keeping me informed with her progress though out thr day park visits, play time videos and photos of her day. Hopefully she will spend more time with Devon in the near future and a possible boarding stint when the time comes.. I cant fault Devon's care for Bella its really helping her with socialising with other dogs as well and she dose come home exhausted from all the play although im sure part of that would have been the heat wave 🥵 although I may be moving out of London I know I can depend on Devon if he has a space free to take Bella as she knows Devon so will be keeping him as a sitter or boarding when that time comes and when I move away I will also keep Devon as my London sitter/boarding person when I am in London

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
