Stela and Tim were very accommodating of our fairly last minute request for daycare for our dog, Luna. Stela suggested a meet and greet beforehand and we met up in the park so everyone could get acquainted. Stela and Tim kindly kept us updated with messages, photos and videos throughout the day and we were very reassured to see Luna looking relaxed and happy. It’s obvious that Stela and Tim are very experienced at looking after dogs and we felt very comfortable leaving Luna in their care. Would highly recommend.

About: I’m a true animal lover through and through. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of pets — dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, rabbits, and horses — and that hands-on experience shaped the caring approach I bring to every animal I look after. Today I share my home with three adorable mini schnauzers, who keep life fun and active. One of them and I have competed in agility and earned our Canine Good Citizen certification together, so I’m comfortable with basic obedience, focus work, and keeping energetic pups mentally and physically stimulated. I’ve also completed a Canine First Aid course and previously worked at a busy kennel and cattery. That role gave me valuable experience caring for a wide variety of dogs and cats, managing daily routines, supporting nervous or senior pets, and helping owners feel confident while they’re away. Although my full-time career involves caring for people, my heart has always been with animals. I truly enjoy building trust with each pet, learning their unique personality, and giving them the attention, playtime, and affection they deserve. Whether it’s a lively game of fetch, calm cuddle time, or sticking to a specific routine, I treat every animal like part of my own family. I’d love the chance to care for your furry (or feathered or scaly!) friends while you’re away — you can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, loved, and well looked after. I am currently working full-time however I have the ability to plan my days accordingly and as flexible as needed. Monday - Sunday availability depending on the needs of the furbaby and their owner. I prioritize safety, trust, and a calm, loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in the owner’s home. In the pet owner’s home (house-sitting, drop-ins, or walks): I treat the owner’s home with the same care as my own. I follow your exact routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions to the letter. I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while still receiving plenty of play, cuddles, and exercise. I’m always mindful of doors, gates, and windows for safety, and I send regular updates with photos so you can see how relaxed and happy your pet is. In my home (boarding or daycare): My house is fully pet-proofed and set up with a secure, fenced garden for safe playtime. I keep a consistent daily routine that includes regular feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of one-on-one attention. My three mini schnauzers are friendly and well-socialized, so new dogs usually settle in quickly. I monitor all pets closely, especially during the first few hours, and separate animals if needed for comfort or safety. Because I’ve completed Canine First Aid training and worked in a kennel, I’m confident handling everything from minor scrapes to emergencies. In both cases, I focus on building trust quickly by being gentle, patient, and attentive. Every pet is treated like part of the family — never left unsupervised in potentially unsafe situations. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pet’s happiness.

I could not be happier with both my and Kuma’s experience with Daniel and Brian! They are absolutely the sweetest people, and their maltipoo Ashford is very friendly and good with other dogs and people. It was the perfect match for my dog Kuma, who was previously attacked by a dog. Kuma was so happy in their place and felt very comfortable, he was even trying to invite me inside by running back in their home when I came to pick him up so he clearly didn’t want to leave! Daniel and Brian were extremely pleasant and kind, and were very easy to talk to. They made me feel completely at ease, and they had excellent communication with me throughout. I received lots of cute pictures of Kuma on a walk, playing with Ashford, and enjoying their place. We will be back soon, and I’m so thankful to have found Daniel and Brian to look after Kuma while I’m away.

About: I know every dog is different, and I love getting to know their personality, routine, and quirks. I've looked after dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and friends, neighbours, and family regularly trust me with their pets - whether that's walking, feeding, or just keeping them company. Whether your dog is full of energy or happiest with a slow wander and a cuddle on the sofa, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and well looked after. I work from home, so I’m very flexible and able to give dogs plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for boarding and sitting both on weekdays and weekends, and I can easily adapt to your dog’s usual routine for walks, feeding, and playtime. Your dog will never feel ignored or left alone for long. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure environment and always take the time to understand each dog’s personality and needs. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special instructions. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own and make sure they feel relaxed, safe, and well looked after.

We’ve been so lucky to find Ely and his doggy day care for Bailey 🐾 From the moment we met him, I just felt completely at ease. You can tell straight away how much he genuinely loves and understands dogs, and that’s everything when you’re leaving your little one with someone. Bailey has settled in so quickly and got so excited when we arrived, which says it all. It’s such a comfort knowing he’s somewhere safe, cared for and having fun while I’m at work. Ely keeps me updated, is super flexible, and just makes the whole experience feel easy and stress free. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him now! Couldn’t recommend him more if you’re looking for someone you can truly trust with your dog 🤍

About: I have been dogsitting for multiple friends, their dogs love staying with me and my wife. My wife Heather Rutherford, who is also on this platform has extensive experience of living with pets and pet sitting. I work from home 3 days a week, where I can provide everything a dog may need during the day (playtime, walks, lots of attention and all basic needs). I have a fenced yard and live nearby two parks. I'll make sure the dog has everything it needs and take good care of them.

About: I am a pet sitter with 10+ years of experience taking care of people’s lovely pets. Dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots, ferrets, chinchillas, and chickens - I’ve taken care of them all! Although I am new to Rover, I have 100% 5* reviews on other pet sitting sites ‘Pawshake’ and ‘Trustedhousesitters’. I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes and have been around dogs all my life. I grew up with three crazy Springer Spaniels and often take care of my furry niece, a rescue dog named Evie. I also spent a year regularly taking care of a Daschund called Winnie. I am able to cater to the specific needs of pets, so whether you’ve got an anxious pup who needs to be kept away from other furry friends or an elderly cat who needs medication administered, your pet will be in safe hands! Having spent the last six months travelling, I am currently looking for work and have plenty of time on my hands! I'm extremely reliable, and will send you photos and regular updates so you can relax wherever you are going! I currently offer home visits, dog walking and day care. After spending 6 months travelling, I'm currently looking for work, so have plenty of time to spend with your pets. This means I can do regular walks and play with your pets as often as they like! My top priority is ensuring your pet is safe and happy. I will make sure they can stick to their normal routine - daily walks in the area they know best, naps in their favourite sunny spot, and that 4pm treat (if that's what they're used to!). I will ask you to provide as much information as possible before caring for your pet - if they need to be kept on the lead at all times or they have a serious problem with a particular neighbourhood cat, please tell me! Whether you're looking for someone to spend the whole day by your furry friend's side or to pop in throughout the day to give them some food and a cuddle, we can definitely work something out!

About: Hello! My name is Vaida, and caring for animals has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have always believed that every animal deserves to feel safe, loved and cared for as if they were part of the family. Over the years I have volunteered in dog shelters, helped care for rescued animals, and worked in a zoo looking after a wide variety of animals, including goats, sheep, donkeys, zebras and even giraffes. My own home has often been a temporary safe haven for dogs without families while they waited to find their forever homes. I have also cared for rescued goats, sheep and cats in my own home shelter, that I made outside my home on my land. So I am comfortable with animals of all kinds. Through my experience I have gained a good understanding of animal behaviour and basic first aid. I am confident recognising when an animal may not be feeling well, following medication instructions, and providing calm, attentive care for senior dogs or those with additional needs. I now live in a spacious house in a peaceful area, surrounded by beautiful woodland, open fields and a large park, giving dogs plenty of space to enjoy long walks, explore safely and burn off energy in nature. Whether your dog loves adventurous walks, playing fetch, running, or simply enjoys a slower pace with lots of cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive the individual attention they need. As a qualified hypnotherapist and an experienced teacher, I have a naturally calm, patient and gentle personality, which helps animals quickly feel relaxed and secure around me. I understand that every dog has its own character and routine, and I always do my best to make them feel at home while you’re away. Your dog will be treated as one of my own—with plenty of love, affection, playtime, exercise and care. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable, knowing they are in safe and loving hands. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to give some love for your furry friends. All summer I’m staying at home with my daughter, on September I will update my availability. I have fenced big garden, can easily crate your dog if needed. I live near the woods and big fields, so we can and will go for many walks and play outside.

It was my first time of using Rover and I was a little anxious but Olivia was great. My dogs were very well looked after, they were so relaxed and contented I’m not sure they noticed I was back with them! Olivia handled any problems or issues (my tricky door lock) calmly and was not phased. I was very happy with the service and I would love Olivia to care for them again (if she was willing to, of course).

Devon was fantastic with taking Bella on short notice so that I could help a friend out for the 2 days. Bella was well cared for on both days little miss fussy pants (I often call her) though Devon found a way arround that. Keeping me informed with her progress though out thr day park visits, play time videos and photos of her day. Hopefully she will spend more time with Devon in the near future and a possible boarding stint when the time comes.. I cant fault Devon's care for Bella its really helping her with socialising with other dogs as well and she dose come home exhausted from all the play although im sure part of that would have been the heat wave 🥵 although I may be moving out of London I know I can depend on Devon if he has a space free to take Bella as she knows Devon so will be keeping him as a sitter or boarding when that time comes and when I move away I will also keep Devon as my London sitter/boarding person when I am in London

Chiku and Scooby are rescue dogs with lots of baggage. One is protective, while the other is highly reactive. This was the top concern for me when we started a search for a daycare that could handle them. When I reached out to Samantha after reading her profile, I thought I had found a good match--and I was right. Samantha immediately understood what we were dealing with and asked useful follow-up questions. I felt a sense of relief as she came to pick them up on Saturday morning. The dogs had a good day at her place and will certainly be going back there soon.

Our precious boys Pretzel and Oreo had a lovely day with Ché. I dropped them off to Ché at 10:15am and collected them at 10:15pm. Throughout the day I was kept updated with lots of photos and could see how happy my pooches were. Ché really is a wonderfully warm and caring lady. I got that happy vibe as soon as she opened the door to us, and most importantly, Pretzel and Oreo took to her instantly too. When I collected them 12 hours later I knew the had had a great day. I will definitely trust Ché to take my boys again when needed. My dogs have been looked after by many different sitters over the years, and I can definitely say that Ché is one of the best. So obviously, I can recommend her to anyone else needing her services. Your dogs will be in great hands. Thank you Ché for everything xx

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Greenwich

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Greenwich on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 16,299 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Greenwich. About 86% of Greenwich sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Greenwich commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Greater London may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
