About: I have had dogs most of my life as well as looking after other people’s dogs. I have a very well behaved cavalier who would like the company of doggy buddies. We like to have lots of walks. I work from home so am available at all times for well behaved dogs. I have an enclosed garden and can take dogs out regularly for walks long or short. I can offer boarding most nights. I have an enclosed garden that dogs can access at all times. I have wooden floors so messes are not stresses! I can accommodate most needs, just ask.

About: Hi, I’m a caring and dependable dog/Cat lover in Loughton, offering tailored pet sitting, drop-in visits, and fun-filled walks. Whether it’s a cozy overnight stay, a quick check-in, or an energetic stroll, your dog gets the love, attention, and updates they deserve—just like family Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me—it’s my full-time passion. I left my previous career to dedicate myself entirely to pet care, and I’ve never looked back. Every day revolves around giving dogs the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I live in an extremely spacious two-floor flat that's secure, cozy, and set up for your dog’s comfort. Just seconds from my door are acres of open green space—perfect for daily walks, sniffing adventures, and playtime. On weekends, I take my own dog (and any furry guests who want to join) on longer countryside treks for that extra bit of excitement and enrichment. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a drop-in visit, or a fun walk, your pup will be treated like family in a safe, loving environment. You’ll also get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in the best hands.
“Angela is a great dog sitter. I could tell straight away Maggie was going to be loved and cared for. I can’t recommend enough. A loving, warm & familiar home for any dog to stay in. Thank you”

“Huge thanks to Frank for taking care of Chip so brilliantly. He took great care in suggesting we meet before the booking, showed us around his doggy-play areas and introduced Chip to his lovely cockapoo, Benny. His space is perfect for dog-sitting and Frank was very thoughtful, considerate and reassuring about the whole process. Chip clearly had a brilliant time when I picked him so we can wholeheartedly recommend Frank.”

“Beckie was fabulous. A wonderful dog sitter and great communicator. She had really put so much thought into having Archie, even buying fruit to freeze for him due to the hot weather. Such a considerate dog sitter who will definitely be my first port of call for any future sitting needs.”

“Max loved spending the day with Melissa. She was attentive and happy to go with what Max needed. Local and highly recommended. We will definitely book Melissa again”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my 4-month-old Frenchie received! Leaving a young puppy can be stressful, but I was kept reassured with regular, lovely updates throughout the day. They were incredibly understanding of a puppy's specific needs and routines. Highly recommend, and will definitely be booking again! Thank you Danielle and Andrew”
“Sofia was really flexible and accommodating. She made sure Melly had a chance to get to know her before their first day together, which meant he didn’t even look back when we dropped him off! She also kept us updated with lots of pictures. I think Melly had a great day.”

“Phoebe was a really sweet girl, who looked after our rescue dog for the day and gave her a walk around the forest with some other dogs. When we took Jenny home, you could tell she was happy & tired! Julie was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. From the moment we connected, she was warm, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took such great care of Kevin, giving plenty of attention, walks, and affection. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Kevin was happy, comfortable, and in very good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Julie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Both dogs were very happy and contented when I dropped them off and picked them up. They had a lovely day and were both worn out from having such a good time. Would definitely recommend and will book again 😊 Thankyou Jevgenija for looking after and caring for them both.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Epping Forest commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.
Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
