About: I have had dogs most of my life as well as looking after other people’s dogs. I have a very well behaved cavalier who would like the company of doggy buddies. We like to have lots of walks. I work from home so am available at all times for well behaved dogs. I have an enclosed garden and can take dogs out regularly for walks long or short. I can offer boarding most nights. I have an enclosed garden that dogs can access at all times. I have wooden floors so messes are not stresses! I can accommodate most needs, just ask.
About: Hi, I’m a caring and dependable dog/Cat lover in Loughton, offering tailored pet sitting, drop-in visits, and fun-filled walks. Whether it’s a cozy overnight stay, a quick check-in, or an energetic stroll, your dog gets the love, attention, and updates they deserve—just like family Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me—it’s my full-time passion. I left my previous career to dedicate myself entirely to pet care, and I’ve never looked back. Every day revolves around giving dogs the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I live in an extremely spacious two-floor flat that's secure, cozy, and set up for your dog’s comfort. Just seconds from my door are acres of open green space—perfect for daily walks, sniffing adventures, and playtime. On weekends, I take my own dog (and any furry guests who want to join) on longer countryside treks for that extra bit of excitement and enrichment. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a drop-in visit, or a fun walk, your pup will be treated like family in a safe, loving environment. You’ll also get regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in the best hands.

“We’re really happy to have met Sofia after looking for doggy day care near our temporary stay in Epping Forest. She hit it off with Archie straight away and he was very well looked after during the day. She’s an affectionate carer and made sure he got enough play and exercise time. She’s also very flexible which we appreciate a lot! We’re sad that she doesn’t live near where we live!!”

About: As the proud owner of my much-loved Charlie for over 14 years, and having regularly cared for my sister’s dog, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they receive the love, care, and attention they deserve. As someone who has worked in the NHS and has an Enhanced DBS check, I understand the importance of trust, responsibility and providing peace of mind. If you’re looking for a genuine dog lover who will care for your furry family member as if they were my own, please send me a message. I’d be delighted to answer any questions. I’m working from home, so I will have plenty of time for your furry babies. There will be plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, rest, and, of course, lots of affection. I believe dogs thrive when they feel safe, relaxed, and included, so they’ll be welcomed into my home as part of the family rather than simply being looked after. Before every stay, I’ll ask about your dog’s usual routine, favourite activities, feeding schedule, and any little habits that help them feel at home. I’ll do my best to keep things as familiar as possible, making the transition easier for both you and your dog. Your dog will have access to a fully fenced, secure garden where they can safely play, explore, or simply relax in the fresh air. Just a two-minute walk from my home is a beautiful woodland, along with several parks and open fields, giving us plenty of opportunities for enjoyable walks and new adventures, tailored to your dog’s energy levels and preferences.
“Fantastic and very reassuring. Our puppy stayed with Charis for 3 days and seemed very happy when we picked her up. No fuss approach. Regular update given. Will definitely use Charis again in future”
About: We are a family of four and also proud owners of two lovely Cocker spaniels and a Bengal cat. I have had animals all my life, looking after them from puppies and kittens all the way through to old age. My two dogs are very friendly and well-trained, and they love other animals. They will enjoy having another dog to play with. I work from home, and have plenty of time to play with your dog, and they will get lovely long meadow walks twice a day. I have a large fenced garden for play and your dog can happily roam around. When we go for a walks, it is usually over the fields behind our house, which are all beautiful grassed meadows and great for long runs. The downstairs of my house is completely tiled so lovely and cool in the summer and warm in the winter when the underfloor heating goes on. I will accept crate-trained or non-crate-trained dogs, and I am happy for your pet to roam the whole house. I just ask that your dog is fully house trained although we know accidents can happen.

Jenny sent me photos of what looked like a happy relaxed dog during the day, which was a bit of a surprise because my dog is usually a bit anxious. When I went to collect her, she seemed happy to stay with her new human pack, although she made it clear that I could stay too. She has been happy and relaxed since her visit to Jenny, no clinging. Hope to need Jenny’s care again - just looking at where to book a few days away so that the dog can have a holiday too. Thanks Jenny!

Elizabeth and her other half were truly wonderful and stepped in last minute to help when we needed cover. They were at the house within 45mins, we got regular updates throughout the day and were super responsive . Thanks so much. You saved the day and will definitely be re-booking!

Kelly is such a lovely and wonderful lady she sent many pics and videos and kept me updated about how oscar was doing, oscar is a very shy boy but kelly made him feel right at home and having her lovely girls to socialise with was the cherry on top couldn’t ask for better service and will be using kelly again ❤️

Emilie was absolutely amazing the get go. Dylan is such an anxious and reactive little sausage dog, but he loved her. He was even cuddled up to her, which we didn’t expect!! We’re over the moon and would love for Emilie to be our regular dog sitter now. We trust her completely! Thank you so much again 🥰

Beckie was fabulous. A wonderful dog sitter and great communicator. She had really put so much thought into having Archie, even buying fruit to freeze for him due to the hot weather. Such a considerate dog sitter who will definitely be my first port of call for any future sitting needs.

Julie was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. From the moment we connected, she was warm, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took such great care of Kevin, giving plenty of attention, walks, and affection. I really appreciated the updates and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Kevin was happy, comfortable, and in very good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Julie to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!

Both dogs were very happy and contented when I dropped them off and picked them up. They had a lovely day and were both worn out from having such a good time. Would definitely recommend and will book again 😊 Thankyou Jevgenija for looking after and caring for them both.

Phoebe was a really sweet girl, who looked after our rescue dog for the day and gave her a walk around the forest with some other dogs. When we took Jenny home, you could tell she was happy & tired! A couple of photos would have been appreciated, but Phoebe was really quick to respond when checking in so very happy with how she cared for our dog 🫶🏼

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
