Mary made sure both Rainha and I were comfortable with the first walk. She made sure she understood all the cues we use and that Rainha would be safe before letting her off lead. I was quite nervous about having Rainha walked by a stranger but Mary made everything very easy and I will be using her on a regular basis now for walks and hopefully pet sitting too.

Sunshyne is great with Sully - spending the time time with him so he gets to know her, and build confidence on walks. When he meets her out and about he then follows her (and likes to pretend he's forgot about me!). Sunshyne now helps us out every week which puts our mind at ease when both working.

About: I have always loved dogs! I have spent pretty much my whole life surrounded by them and I see them as family. I am super passionate about their wellbeing and I have a perfect understanding of their needs. I currently have a German Shepherd female (20 months old). She is super friendly and loving. I have a 13 month old baby who goes to nursery (3 days a week) and I spend my time at home, with my dog (Frida). We go for daily long walks in the fields twice a day and we play in the garden when the weather allows Your dog will feel at home as we don’t have any restrictions in terms of space. We have a large garden and we live in a green area with loads of fields. We go to Epping Forest in the weekend and it’s such great place for fun adventures.

About: I am a professional dog carer with over 15 years of experience working with dogs across three countries: 10 years in the UK, 2 years in Australia, and 2 years in my home country of Canada. My passion for animals led me to start my own successful dog-walking business in Canada, where I built strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Throughout my career, I have gained hands-on experience in dog walking, sitting, and behavioral understanding, catering to dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. I prioritize safety, trust, and individualized care for each dog, ensuring they stay happy, healthy, and well-exercised. I currently work with a dedicated group of recurring clients but am looking to expand my services. Whether you need a dependable dog walker, a caring sitter, or someone who truly understands your dog’s needs, I am here to help. Contact me to discuss how I can support you and your furry friend! I do work full time but I have quite a flexible schedule working from home 2-3 days per week. Happy to discuss what you need to ensure it works for both of us. My approach involves more than just feeding and walking. It’s about creating a nurturing environment tailored to their needs. I take the time to get to know them. Introduce myself calmly, allowing them to approach me at their own pace. I like to discuss preferences you/your pet may have, such as diet, exercise, and what a normal day looks like. In my experience pets thrive on consistency. A predictable schedule also helps reduce anxiety and builds trust. I ensure my home is pet-proofed and safe. And the best part of this for me - Spend time playing, cuddling, or simply being present.

I’ve personally owned and cared for German Shepherds, Pomeranians, Jack Russells, French Bulldogs, and Labradors—so I’m very familiar with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10, and for over 5 years, I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors by walking, feeding, bathing, and giving lots of love to their pets. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I’m patient, trustworthy, and treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m currently studying online, which gives me 100% flexibility with my schedule. I’m available 24/7 for pet care and can easily adjust my day to fit your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. Being home most of the time means your furry friend will get constant attention, love, and care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because spending time with animals is truly one of my favorite things to do. I always make sure each dog’s specific needs are met—whether that means sticking to their feeding schedule, administering medication, frequent walks and bathroom breaks. In your home, I follow your rules exactly and treat your space with respect, always prioritizing your pet’s comfort and safety at all time.

About: I’m Issy - a 29-year-old dog lover living in Buckhurst Hill and would love to help care for your furry friends. Growing up with dogs from an early age, a wagging tail has always been at the heart of the home. Over the years, I’ve gained experience walking and looking after dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities for family and friends. During my time at university, I volunteered with the Dog Walking Society, where I helped walk dogs for owners who were no longer able to. It was an incredibly rewarding experience being able to give dogs the love, attention and exercise they deserve. I offer dog walking and sitting services and will tailor my care to suit your dog's needs, whether that’s a long run around the park or a gentle stroll and some belly rubs. If you’d like any more info or arrange a meet-and-greet, feel free to get in touch. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged friend! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine and I currently have a flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of flexibility to look after your furry friend. I always aim to care for dogs in their own home where possible. I find pups are usually happiest and most relaxed in familiar surroundings, and it allows me to stick closely to their normal routine, walks and feeding schedule. I don’t currently offer care in my own home as we have a reactive dog, so looking after your pup in their space means I can give them my full attention in a calm, stress-free environment. I’m very respectful of owners’ homes and will always treat both your dog and your space as if they were my own.

Tom is able to take dogs to work with him (if that works for you) We used to have a dog and we have cared for many dogs in the past. We have a sofa bed, a double bed , water, heating etc in our 47ft houseboat so your pets will be very well cared for Tom and I are pretty flexible as Tom has a van and can take your dog with him for the day and be active. We are about all weekends and evenings and I am mostly free on Mondays I currently live on a canal boat that I own, and am moored in Waltham abbey. I have a front area that has a cover and your pet is safe to be in there to look out. I also have a door that separates the back (front) door and the engine bay - all sounds very scary but it is very secure. Please feel free to drop me a message and come over for a tea. If you do not enjoy the idea of your pet going outside, cat or dog I promise to lead them and take them outside

I'm so glad we found Kim, she walked our dog while we were on holiday as my parents looking after her have mobility issues. Kim always arrived on time, and our dog was very excited to go on walks with her. Our dog tends to run and hide when the harness comes out, but Kim managed to tackle this get it on her! Thank you so much!
