About: I’m based in Walthamstow, living with my boyfriend in a lovely flat with outdoor space. We miss having pets at home - when we lived in Oxford we looked after family and friends pets all the time, and then had a good stint on borrowmydoggy in London. We are hoping to get a pet in the next couple of years but until then love spending time looking after lil cats and doggies! I’m available for pet sitting / dog walking for the majority of week as I work from home most days - can be as flexible as needed. We have 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen living room which leads out onto an enclosed safe balcony - we spend most of the time in the living room playing or cuddling.

Poppet has sadly passed recently but she had kidney disease and both eye and ear problems, which means I am comfortable with giving any meds or eye/ear drops. As stated before, I’ve worked in clinics which gives me a great advantage at handling any cat in a professional and correct way. I’m very passionate about all animals (poppet and Julie was/is the love of my life) and as I’m not from here, I’ve myself used cat sitter before when I’ve gone home to visit, so I know how important this is, and also what I’d want if I was the one hiring a cat sitter. I have a few private clients but would love to build up on this network. Might also be worth mentioning that I am autistic and I’m generally better with animals than humans. I admire animals hearts and spirit and enjoy their company. I’ve also assisted animals giving birth and helped rescue dogs feel more safe and come out their shell! Gypsy absolutely adores him, and that’s because Agustin has an intuitive, gentle way with dogs that you simply can’t teach. He understood her quirks, her sighthound sensitivities, her playful streak, and her need for calm, confident handling. He genuinely cared for her, and that gave me enormous peace of mind. This is the second time I’ve booked Kerri for a straight period of time, twice daily, and she has done an amazing job. Cosmo was cared for with patience, dedication and a kind but firm hand. Kerri always spent a little extra time brushing him and ensuring Cosmo had everything he needed. Highly recommended.
Patrick is lovely and came over to hang out with Monty briefly before starting to walk him. He was dead flexible when we needed him to be (eg. came 20 mins earlier at short notice) and Monty seems to really like him. He’s offered to have him over night if we need it, which may prove really helpful—we think he’d be great for that, so walking’s a no-brainer! Works in schools so maybe I’m a soft touch as a teacher, but generally a good sign in itself I find :) Recommend!
