About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life! Growing up, our home was full of furry friends. Since moving to London I don't currently have any pets of my own, I really miss having animals around, and that's why I would love to help other pet owners. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of pets and always take time to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they are in great hands. I WFH on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Fridays, so I am able to dog sit on these days. I am able to take dogs for walks before work/on lunch break and after work. I am able to take them out for lots of wees during the working day. I am fully available on weekends for all services. I live in a flat, I do not have a garden, but I have a forest area a 5 min walk away, and grassy area at the end of the road for toilet breaks at any time of the day. I recently had my large family dog stay for a week, and toilet breaks were not an issue despite not having a garden.
“Slavina took extremely good care of Devi, as if she were her own dog. She’s kind, patient and able to handle any situation. I’d trust her with my dog again in a heartbeat. She also sends regular updates and photos.”

“Ally is brilliant! Felt so at ease immediately upon meeting her. She was clearly very comfortable and experienced with dogs, so I knew we were in very safe hands. Kept me updated and sent photos, really pleased we met! Thanks Ally”

“Thank you Caroline for making us feel super at ease with leaving albie with you. He had a lovely time, we received updates and photos, it was genuinely so nice meeting and look forward to your next visit!xx”

About: I’m based in Walthamstow, living with my boyfriend in a lovely flat with outdoor space. We miss having pets at home - when we lived in Oxford we looked after family and friends pets all the time, and then had a good stint on borrowmydoggy in London. We are hoping to get a pet in the next couple of years but until then love spending time looking after lil cats and doggies! I’m available for pet sitting / dog walking for the majority of week as I work from home most days - can be as flexible as needed. We have 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen living room which leads out onto an enclosed safe balcony - we spend most of the time in the living room playing or cuddling.

About: I have been catsitting for over 5 years now, able to administer medication and look after your pets and their specific needs. I adore animals and love to stay for an extra cuddles to make sure your pet is as happy as you left them! Your pet care will be my priority, I am happy to feed/ look after your pets at whatever time suits you best to keep their routines. I will show your pet a great deal of love and attention! I’d be happy to work on special tricks or skills you’re developing with your pet and I can promise a happy, well looked after pet after each visit!
“I highly recommend Karen Lorena. She has always been reliable, punctual, and clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. I’ve consistently found her to be trustworthy and professional, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands.”
“Roshni is an excellent dog walker, our dog has immediately felt comfortable with her. She goes above and beyond while making you feel really reassured that your dog is in good hands. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: I really enjoy pets and have respect for all animals. I feel pets are very individual and would tailor care to their needs, whether lots of attention, exercise or play. I know the need for peace of mind entrusting your loved one, and can assure you of responsible, dependable care. I'm currently semi retired so have time to enjoy looking after furry friends, as I know how crucial it is to have someone trustworthy in your home. I walk 10k steps a day so happy to take dogs walking or play with them. If it's an older dog or cat that just wants to chill then that's ok too. I'm used to adapting to different household requirements through my work and being Health & Safety aware, so rest assured your pet will be in safe hands.

About: - I have recently moved area, I am still in walthamstow and happy to take repeat bookings in my old area - Hi! My name is Josefin, I’m 29 and live with my cat Julie in walthamstow. Julie is a clingy baby that loves a good play or cuddle. I’m trying to study vet nursing and I’ve worked in clinics before. I adopted my first cat, Poppet, five years ago and before then I’ve been fostering multiple cats. Julie is my second cat. Poppet has sadly passed recently but she had kidney disease and both eye and ear problems, which means I am comfortable with giving any meds or eye/ear drops. As stated before, I’ve worked in clinics which gives me a great advantage at handling any cat in a professional and correct way. I’m very passionate about all animals (poppet and Julie was/is the love of my life) and as I’m not from here, I’ve myself used cat sitter before when I’ve gone home to visit, so I know how important this is, and also what I’d want if I was the one hiring a cat sitter. I have a few private clients but would love to build up on this network. Might also be worth mentioning that I am autistic and I’m generally better with animals than humans. My visits normally lasts around 30 mins :) I also have a dog and I’ve had Guinea pigs and can handle most amphibians too.

About: I have a small dog and I grow up with dogs. I know how to them care for them: from hyper to nervous dogs. I love looking after them and I am happy to also sit in my house I work from home so I can pick up the dogs in the morning or talks them out for a walk when needed. I just need to plan my day in advance. I can have dogs at mine for the whole day as well. I have a fenced garden. My little dog loves the company of other dogs. I works from home so I am flexible with walks. I can pick up the dogs and drop them off.
“Asha was amazing with Sasa. Initially she was a little nervous given Sasa’s demeanour, but she persevered and with a bit of cajoling, she mentioned to get Sasa on her lead they went off for a lovely walk. I’m looking forward to asking Asha to help with Sasa in future.”

About: After completing my Animal Management Level 3 Qualification at BCA College, I have taken my experience and used it for the better! I am currently unemployed, and have taken up dog walking/sitting as my own independent business. I have 2 years of experience in Animal Behaviour Management and Animal Welfare — I have had two dogs within my lifetime, to which have sadly passed away. I am enthusiastic, loving, fun and reliable, and will definitely take care of your furry friend! As I am currently unemployed, pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine because I treat it as a top priority. I plan my days around consistent walking and feeding times, ensuring I am always punctual and dependable. Whether it's a midday walk or an evening check-in, I keep a highly organized schedule so I can give every dog my full, unhurried attention while keeping you updated along the way. Unfortunately, I am not able to take any pets into my own home due to the fact that I have one dog and two cats.
About: I've walked and looked after dogs for friends and clients on rover for a couple of years and absolutely love doing it - I don't own my own dogs or cats so this is a great compromise for me to be able to spend time with animals. Happy to meet you & pet beforehand or have a video call to discuss any needs. PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR AVAILABILITY - I don't update my Rover calendar on a weekly basis. Available for weekend and week long bookings I work from home 3 days a week with a flexible diary and go on walks every day, around Lloyd park so would love to be able to do this with a dog to make it more enjoyable! And can look after dogs/cats whilst I work from home/yours. My weekends can be flexible if I have advance notice and I take week-long bookings too. I live in a cosy, clean and warm 1 bedroom flat with a balcony and fenced rooftop. My home is very safe and doesn't have anything dangerous to pets lying around.
About: Kate and I have had dogs in our respective families for as long as we can remember. We now have our very own Jackapoo who is now 2 years old... Time flies when you have a dog! The unconditional love they bring cannot be underestimated. Working from home most days means we have space for another dog who will also be company for our Poppy. 😊 Working from home means we are available to dog sit weekdays and some weekends. Lloyd Park isn't far so walking won't be an issue. We already have Poppy so looking after another dog is perfect. We have a fenced garden for toilet breaks and a safe and welcoming house with a crate if it's needed (up to you). We also have Poppy the Jackapoo who absolutely loves other dogs and is very affectionate and playfull, but also knows when to keep her distance.

About: Ever since growing up with my own golden retriever (Ellie), I've known that I always need to be in close proximity to a pet. More recently, I raised my parents' puppy during the pandemic and often dog sit for them. My flatmate also brought a cat into our London flat that I have helped to look after for the past two years so I have experience with both dogs and cats. Throughout my life, I have taken instruction well on how best to interact with others' pets (e.g., don't get them too excited, they need play time to feel comfortable with you) and always exercise patience. I wfh 4/5 weekdays and go into the office every Wednesday. The times I go into the office can be flexible as I don't have set times, and I am only 30 minutes away in case of emergencies. I'll spend a weekend with my parents' dog in the Midlands once a month, but then I'm in London for the rest of the time. It can be anxiety-inducing to trust a stranger with not only your pet, but your home. I promise to be understanding of your pet's needs, but also your needs. Whether that's needing regular updates or for things to be done a particular way, I will do my best to keep your space and routine as normal as possible.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Waltham Forest
I booked chloe to walk my dog very last minute (midnight, the night before). She agreed to meet at 10am for an introduction to my dog and the 1st walk of 3 that day. Even though bella is cautious of strangers, Chloe was great with her and reassured me throughout the day. I would 100% recommend her to anyone else.

Was happy to book Erin again for a few days’ walkies, she was very thoughtful during the heatwave and flexible with the timings to work with the weather - made sure to do many hydration stops and take it easy in the shade. Rupert was happy and so was I :) thanks Erin!

I had a great experience with this sitter. They checked with me beforehand about the best time for the walk, which I really appreciated. They also sent me photos during the walk, giving me peace of mind that my dog was happy and well looked after. Reliable, communicative, and clearly caring. I would definitely recommend them and would happily book them again!

Asha was amazing with Sasa. Initially she was a little nervous given Sasa’s demeanour, but she persevered and with a bit of cajoling, she mentioned to get Sasa on her lead they went off for a lovely walk. I’m looking forward to asking Asha to help with Sasa in future.

This is the second time I’ve booked Kerri for a straight period of time, twice daily, and she has done an amazing job. Cosmo was cared for with patience, dedication and a kind but firm hand. Kerri always spent a little extra time brushing him and ensuring Cosmo had everything he needed. Highly recommended.

Patrick is lovely and came over to hang out with Monty briefly before starting to walk him. He was dead flexible when we needed him to be (eg. came 20 mins earlier at short notice) and Monty seems to really like him. He’s offered to have him over night if we need it, which may prove really helpful—we think he’d be great for that, so walking’s a no-brainer! Works in schools so maybe I’m a soft touch as a teacher, but generally a good sign in itself I find :) Recommend!

Daniel and his partner helped us out with very short notice and were very courteous and polite! We can’t thank them enough for looking after Clemmie and so well and recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring dog walkers! Thank you! Adam, Livia and Alice.
