“Dougal recently stayed with Anely and her family for a few days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Anely kept me updated regularly, which I truly appreciated—it was so reassuring to know that Dougal was enjoying his time with her little dog, Brownie, and bonding with Anely's family. It's clear Dougal has grown very attached to her, which is incredibly comforting. Knowing he's comfortable, happy, and in such safe hands allows me to fully relax when he's with her. Highly recommend!”

Would definitely recommend and book again!!!”

You scratch my back and well, I’ll scratch your dogs… Generally I’m pretty flexible and will always try to make time for furry friends… Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, able to give your pet ample attention. If I get to know dogs well, I can also take them in to the office on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Those days I’ll be home around 6:30pm. No real restrictions on the weekend! Although I’ve not had a pet of my own, my house has seen so many! Yours can join me for cuddles on the sofa (if allowed), roam free downstairs and run around the large fenced garden.

“We had the pleasure of having Suzanne take care of our Chihuahua, Myles, over the weekend after a last-minute cancellation, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her flexibility and kindness. Suzanne went above and beyond in caring for Myles, keeping us updated throughout the day with detailed notes and adorable pictures, which gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear from how happy and relaxed Myles was that he received excellent care. About: I've grown up with pets (dogs, bunny and guineapig) and love all kinds of animals. I enjoy long dog walks and spending time in the nature. I'm freelance designer and might have months off between projects. During these periods I could pet sit full time, and doggos can enjoy my full attention and the outdoors in my garden between walks. I have a decent size fenced garden for toilet breaks between walks. The Hollow Ponds is about ten minutes from my flat and perfect for long walks.

About: Lifelong pet owners and experienced dog walker/sitter. I have two sausage dogs, Dorris & Poppy, trained them myself, and I’m confident with stubborn breeds, routines, and gentle handling. Available for overnight stays, day care, drop-ins and walks. I’m working from home Monday, Wednesday and Friday and I’m also available most weekends! I’m in a ground-floor flat right by Epping Forest (no garden, but easy access to plenty of green space and regular outdoor breaks). I have two friendly sausage dogs, so visiting dogs need to be comfortable around other dogs. For overnight stays, I have a spare room that can be used for sleeping arrangements and for crates. If your dog isn’t crate trained, please let me know in advance so we can agree a setup that keeps them settled and safe.
“Really helped me with a very short notice period. Valentina and her partner were wonderful at looking after my dog, so much so he didn’t want to leave them! Would highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life! Growing up, our home was full of furry friends. Since moving to London I don't currently have any pets of my own, I really miss having animals around, and that's why I would love to help other pet owners. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments of pets and always take time to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they are in great hands. I WFH on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Fridays, so I am able to dog sit on these days. I am able to take dogs for walks before work/on lunch break and after work. I am able to take them out for lots of wees during the working day. I am fully available on weekends for all services. I live in a flat, I do not have a garden, but I have a forest area a 5 min walk away, and grassy area at the end of the road for toilet breaks at any time of the day. I recently had my large family dog stay for a week, and toilet breaks were not an issue despite not having a garden.
“Ally is brilliant! Felt so at ease immediately upon meeting her. She was clearly very comfortable and experienced with dogs, so I knew we were in very safe hands. Kept me updated and sent photos, really pleased we met! Thanks Ally”

About: Ever since growing up with my own golden retriever (Ellie), I've known that I always need to be in close proximity to a pet. More recently, I raised my parents' puppy during the pandemic and often dog sit for them. My flatmate also brought a cat into our London flat that I have helped to look after for the past two years so I have experience with both dogs and cats. Throughout my life, I have taken instruction well on how best to interact with others' pets (e.g., don't get them too excited, they need play time to feel comfortable with you) and always exercise patience. I wfh 4/5 weekdays and go into the office every Wednesday. The times I go into the office can be flexible as I don't have set times, and I am only 30 minutes away in case of emergencies. I'll spend a weekend with my parents' dog in the Midlands once a month, but then I'm in London for the rest of the time. It can be anxiety-inducing to trust a stranger with not only your pet, but your home. I promise to be understanding of your pet's needs, but also your needs. Whether that's needing regular updates or for things to be done a particular way, I will do my best to keep your space and routine as normal as possible.

I just need to plan my day in advance. I can have dogs at mine for the whole day as well. I have a fenced garden. My little dog loves the company of other dogs. I works from home so I am flexible with walks. I can pick up the dogs and drop them off.
“Roshni is an amazing dog walker! She has made our lives so much easier with that extra support and is great with our dog Terry. She is patient, caring and has even been so kind to bring round our keys when I have been locked out. Roshni’s rover cards are always very detailed which makes us feel at ease when we are at work. Couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have several years of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, from energetic dogs who need structured walks to calmer companions. Friends, neighbours and family regularly trust me to walk, feed and look after their dogs while they’re away. I prioritise safety, consistency and making sure each dog feels comfortable and secure. I also offer dog sitting and can care for cats as well, following feeding routines carefully and providing regular updates and photos for peace of mind. I’m a full-time student with a structured routine, which allows me to offer dog walking and pet sitting after 4pm on weekdays, as well as full availability on weekends. During school holidays, I have much more flexibility and can offer additional daytime care. I’m reliable with scheduling and happy to arrange regular weekly walks or occasional bookings. I currently offer dog walking and drop-in visits in the owner’s home. I prioritise safety on every walk, using secure leads and staying attentive to surroundings at all times. During visits, I carefully follow feeding routines, refresh water, provide playtime and ensure pets feel calm and comfortable in their own environment. About: - I have recently moved area, I am still in walthamstow and happy to take repeat bookings in my old area - Hi! My name is Josefin, I’m 29 and live with my cat Julie in walthamstow. Julie is a clingy baby that loves a good play or cuddle. I’m trying to study vet nursing and I’ve worked in clinics before. I adopted my first cat, Poppet, five years ago and before then I’ve been fostering multiple cats. Julie is my second cat. Poppet has sadly passed recently but she had kidney disease and both eye and ear problems, which means I am comfortable with giving any meds or eye/ear drops. As stated before, I’ve worked in clinics which gives me a great advantage at handling any cat in a professional and correct way. I’m very passionate about all animals (poppet and Julie was/is the love of my life) and as I’m not from here, I’ve myself used cat sitter before when I’ve gone home to visit, so I know how important this is, and also what I’d want if I was the one hiring a cat sitter. I have a few private clients but would love to build up on this network. Might also be worth mentioning that I am autistic and I’m generally better with animals than humans. My visits normally lasts around 30 mins :) I also have a dog and I’ve had Guinea pigs and can handle most amphibians too.
“Asha was amazing with Sasa. Initially she was a little nervous given Sasa’s demeanour, but she persevered and with a bit of cajoling, she mentioned to get Sasa on her lead they went off for a lovely walk. I’m looking forward to asking Asha to help with Sasa in future.”

“I highly recommend Karen Lorena. She has always been reliable, punctual, and clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. I’ve consistently found her to be trustworthy and professional, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing my dog is in such good hands.”
About: I’m based in Walthamstow, living with my boyfriend in a lovely flat with outdoor space. We miss having pets at home - when we lived in Oxford we looked after family and friends pets all the time, and then had a good stint on borrowmydoggy in London. We are hoping to get a pet in the next couple of years but until then love spending time looking after lil cats and doggies! I’m available for pet sitting / dog walking for the majority of week as I work from home most days - can be as flexible as needed. We have 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen living room which leads out onto an enclosed safe balcony - we spend most of the time in the living room playing or cuddling.
About: After completing my Animal Management Level 3 Qualification at BCA College, I have taken my experience and used it for the better! I am currently unemployed, and have taken up dog walking/sitting as my own independent business. I have 2 years of experience in Animal Behaviour Management and Animal Welfare — I have had two dogs within my lifetime, to which have sadly passed away. I am enthusiastic, loving, fun and reliable, and will definitely take care of your furry friend! As I am currently unemployed, pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine because I treat it as a top priority. I plan my days around consistent walking and feeding times, ensuring I am always punctual and dependable. Whether it's a midday walk or an evening check-in, I keep a highly organized schedule so I can give every dog my full, unhurried attention while keeping you updated along the way. Unfortunately, I am not able to take any pets into my own home due to the fact that I have one dog and two cats.
About: Hey, I’m Luna and I’ve never met an animal that I haven’t been able to make friends with - even cats! I grew up around family dogs and cats but my main experience has been looking after my friend’s furry child - Betty, who is the apple of all of our eyes, and I’ve also previously lived with my partner’s cat Dom, who sadly passed away last year. I work remotely, so I have huge flexibility in terms of taking your pets for long or short walks, depending on what they need, or coming to check on them at your home while you're away. I work from home every day apart from Wednesdays, so I can fit your pet in whenever suits you. My schedule outside of work is also usually quite relaxed so I can help out when you need. I’m happy to match the energy of your pet, so can be very calm and relaxed if your pups are more anxious or high-energy if they can’t stop running around. My home is on the ground floor with easy access for outside breaks as well.
About: Kate and I have had dogs in our respective families for as long as we can remember. We now have our very own Jackapoo who is now 2 years old... Time flies when you have a dog! The unconditional love they bring cannot be underestimated. Working from home most days means we have space for another dog who will also be company for our Poppy. 😊 Working from home means we are available to dog sit weekdays and some weekends. Lloyd Park isn't far so walking won't be an issue. We already have Poppy so looking after another dog is perfect. We have a fenced garden for toilet breaks and a safe and welcoming house with a crate if it's needed (up to you). We also have Poppy the Jackapoo who absolutely loves other dogs and is very affectionate and playfull, but also knows when to keep her distance.
About: I've walked and looked after dogs for friends and clients on rover for a couple of years and absolutely love doing it - I don't own my own dogs or cats so this is a great compromise for me to be able to spend time with animals. Happy to meet you & pet beforehand or have a video call to discuss any needs. PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR AVAILABILITY - I don't update my Rover calendar on a weekly basis. Available for weekend and week long bookings I work from home 3 days a week with a flexible diary and go on walks every day, around Lloyd park so would love to be able to do this with a dog to make it more enjoyable! And can look after dogs/cats whilst I work from home/yours. My weekends can be flexible if I have advance notice and I take week-long bookings too. I live in a cosy, clean and warm 1 bedroom flat with a balcony and fenced rooftop. My home is very safe and doesn't have anything dangerous to pets lying around.

“Absolutely amazing experience with Andrea! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Milo 🐶🤍 From the very first moment, it was clear how caring, patient and genuinely loving Andrea is with dogs. Milo was so relaxed, happy and comfortable with her, which says everything. Andrea kept us reassured, followed all instructions perfectly, and treated Milo like her own. We could truly enjoy our time knowing he was in such safe and loving hands. It’s not easy to trust someone with your puppy, but Andrea exceeded all our expectations. We will 100% be coming back and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind and attentive sitter. Thank you so much, Andrea – Milo already misses you! 🐾”

“Daniela and her partner were incredible when they looked after our dog while we were away on holiday, he’s got quite a few extra needs and they cared for, loved and trained him so well and made him feel so safe and secure while we were away. “Ella and Ed have been a pleasure in boarding my River. River is an energetic, fun loving and affectionate staffy who can be a handful sometimes but took to Ella and Ed immediately! I was sent photos and communicated with daily and River loved the attention! She has come home knackered which is a good sign she had a blast. I definitely recommend, and defintely will be booking again. 5 stars across the board from me and River!”

About: Hi, I'm the founder of Travel Tails! Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a wonderful mix of dogs, including rescue mutts, a Border Collie, and a Doberman, which sparked a lifelong love of canine companionship. For more than 25 years, I've been caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. Throughout my years of travel, I've combined my love of exploring with dog sitting, caring for pets across the UK, Colombia, Spain, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Australia. It's been a fantastic way to spend time with amazing dogs while helping owners feel confident their pets are in safe hands. I provide dog sitting, overnight stays, dog walking, feeding, companionship, playtime, medication administration, and day-to-day care tailored to your dog's individual needs and routine. I've looked after dogs on both short and longer-term assignments, caring for them daily and taking them on regular walks, usually twice a day. I love getting dogs out and about, whether that's exploring local parks, enjoying longer walks for more active breeds, or even the occasional train adventure into London (with owner permission, of course!). If we're near the coast, a beach walk is always a favourite. Equally, I'm very mindful that every dog is different. Older dogs, those recovering from an operation, or dogs with mobility issues often need a gentler pace, and I'm comfortable adapting their care accordingly. I also have experience administering medication and caring for dogs during recovery periods. Building a bond with a dog is one of the most rewarding parts of pet sitting for me. I enjoy playing with them, keeping them mentally stimulated, and making sure they receive plenty of affection, attention, and reassurance while their owners are away. My preference has traditionally been to care for dogs in their own homes, as familiar surroundings help them feel relaxed, secure, and comfortable. However, I'm now also able to welcome dogs into my own flat. My availability can be tailored to suit your dog's needs. I work a hybrid schedule and would ideally need to be in the office one day per week, but outside of that I'm generally very flexible and spend a significant amount of time at home. I'm happy to discuss your dog's routine and ensure we're a good match before any booking. What I love most about dogs is the joy they bring to everyday life, the laughter, silliness, unconditional love, companionship, empathy, and their wonderful ability to live completely in the moment. If you're looking for someone who will care for your dog as if they were their own, I'd love to hear from you. Travel Tails is based near Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow. PS - I'm also very happy to care for other animals too! I only take on dog-sitting bookings when I know I can give a dog the time, attention, and care they deserve. I work from home on Fridays and am generally available at weekends, which makes those days ideal for dog sitting. During the week, I can often help with morning or evening walks, and I may be available for midweek dog sitting if it's arranged in advance. I keep my schedule fairly flexible and would always rather take on fewer dogs and do a great job than overcommit. If you're interested, just drop me a message and we can see if it's a good fit. I have a secure, dog-friendly flat with access to a garden, giving dogs plenty of space to relax and feel at home. I always keep a close eye on the dogs in my care and make sure they're safe, comfortable, and getting the attention they need. Having looked after dogs for many years, I understand that every dog is different, so I'm happy to follow their usual routines to help them settle in and feel at ease.
“Thank you Sandra for looking after our dog for the day and overnight. It was great to have a meet and greet in advance. Good communication and updates before and during the stay. Thanks again.”

About: I have owned 3 male Boxers and taken care of a range of dogs including Belgian Shepherds, Turkish Mountain Dogs, Dobermans and Jack Russells. My partner has owned many dogs including Alsatians, Spaniels, Dalmations, and Basset Hounds. We are both comfortable with the the larger breeds as well as the smaller breeds. I work from home half the week and on the days where I am in the office there is always a member of the household home and we liaise to ensure that any dog in our care, if ever left home alone, is only for a very short period of time. I am available 7 days a week, all year round, for short and long term stays. I offer a loving, peaceful home from home experience for dogs of all sizes. Because I believe every dog deserves absolute comfort and undivided attention, I only ever host from one guest household at a time. Your dog will live as a member of the family, sleeping inside, relaxing on the sofa, and enjoying a stress free environment with no other guest pets or crates. My garden is secure and backs onto Epping Forest which is where your dog will enjoy their daily walks. Whether your dog loves long sniffy walks, playing with sticks or balls or just wants to curl up next to me while I work, their routine will be followed exactly. I also have personal experience of following a medical routine to the letter and would be comfortable doing this for your dog.
“Lizzy and her partner Bobby were great with my dog, Ed! They were super easy to contact and sent photo updates of Ed having a wonderful time:) he was well looked-after, taken on some lovely walks and was made to feel really comfortable at their place! Thanks so much- would really recommend”

“Stellar dog care and super nice people! We left our dog Wilma (4yo staffy) with Seb and Hannah for a last minute weekend trip. They hadn’t met Wilma before but did a really excellent job and took great care of her. They took lots of photos and gave us updates and asked lots of good questions so I knew they were experienced. Would trust them with any dog.”
