Patrick was amazing looking after my cat Sox whilst I was away. He was very punctual, reliable and diligent. I felt Sox was in good hands and he certainly was. Patrick also communicated with me daily, sending daily pics for my ease. Highly recommend.

Liv is a lovely sitter who has shown genuine care for my little puppy since the very first time meeting. It’s so re-assuring knowing that my dog will be looked after with great care and enthusiasm when I can’t be with her, and I get loads of updates from the time they spend together which is really nice.

Our cats loved Giovanna, she sent us lovely videos and we were surprised how much shy Hermione adored her! She played with them, fed and brushed them and we've returned to very happy cats, which is the biggest sign of a great cat sitter, we were in trouble last time we came home after using someone else! We'll definitely use her again and again

About: I’ve had cats all my life and know that a cat visit is so much more than just a feed. I regularly look after my brother-in-law’s Spaniel Albie, and love taking him for walks around Walthamstow’s lovely green spaces. I currently have a flexible work from home job - but tend to be in the office three days a week. So weekends and evenings are the best times for me. I have a large sitting room and will always endeavour to keep your pet comfortable and looked after. I live 5 minutes from the local park.

About: I absolutely love caring for animals and always treat every pet as if they were my own. I take the time to get to know their personality and routines, so whether your pet is shy and gentle, full of beans, or needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities, from playful one-year-olds to senior dogs needing special attention. I’ve cared for blind dogs and pets with allergies, so I understand how important it is to be attentive to their unique health and comfort needs. I’m also comfortable administering medication if required, and always approach each furry friend with calmness and care. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of breeds, from the playful and affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog, to the high-energy and alert nature of hunting dogs like Pointers and Greyhounds, to the sweet (and sometimes stubborn!) personalities of smaller breeds like Beagles and Cavalier Spaniels. Each one has taught me something new, and I genuinely love getting to know their quirks and routines. If your pet is staying overnight, I’ll make sure you feel connected and reassured with regular updates, photos, and videos. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands. I’ve also worked as a sitter on other platforms and would be happy to provide references upon request. Caring for animals is not just something I do, it’s something I love. I can’t wait to meet your pet and give them the same level of care and affection I’d want for my own :) I work from home, so I’m very flexible and able to give your pet lots of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to host them at my home, where they’ll have a secure garden to enjoy and a calm space to relax in. If you’re away for a few days, I’ll follow their usual routine, including walk times, feeding, and any special needs, to keep things familiar and stress-free. You’ll also receive regular photo updates for peace of mind while you're away. Your pet will be welcomed into a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so they’ll have my full attention. Since I work from home, I’m around all day to keep them company, and they’ll also have access to a secure fenced garden for play and fresh air.

About: Hi, I’m Ellie, a young professional living in Walthamstow. I love dogs and cats but can’t have my own pet at the moment so I’m looking for a way to spend more time with animals. I grew up with cats and dogs (including border collies and golden retrievers) so have 15+ years experience of caring for pets and walking dogs. I regularly pet sit for family and friends, including my parent’s two boisterous border collies, cats, and chickens! I’m new to Rover but have been successfully pet and house sitting through another site. Please feel free to drop me a message with any questions on my services! About me: I work remotely from my home in Walthamstow so I am quite flexible with my time. I also love going out for walks and spending time in nature so would love a companion! As I work remotely, I could work from your home to care for your pets all day (as long as you have reliable Wi-Fi) or drop in to check on your pet or take your dog for a walk depending on your preference. I would also be happy to house sit for you and your pets overnight if you are going on holiday. I can’t currently care for pets in my home as I live in rented accommodation, but would show the utmost care and respect for your home and pets. I have excellent reviews for my services from another pet sitting platform to illustrate this which I would be happy to share with you.

About: My experience with pet care started years ago by spending time with friends’ dogs of all shapes and sizes. Since this spring (as I started working remotely), I’ve been dog sitting in London more regularly, which has given me the chance to spend meaningful time with different breeds (but mostly Cockapoos), personalities, and energy levels. I currently work from home 99.99% of the time, which means I can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs I care for. I am based in Walthamstow and there are a few nice parks around where I can bring your pup for a walk. For long stays, I am happy to go for 2-3 walks a day (morning, afternoon and evening). In terms of feeding, I would follow your instructions. Your pet will never be left alone - I’m always nearby to give them attention and care. I live in a three-room flat. We’re also lucky to have several lovely parks close by, perfect for daily walks and fresh-air adventures. I’ll happily keep you updated with photos as often as you’d like, and if I’m ever uncertain about anything, I’ll check in with you right away to make sure your pup’s routine and comfort are always prioritized.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover. I grew up with a golden retriever and a Maltese poodle, so dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I work from home full time, which means I’m always around and your dog will never be left alone for long (it genuinely breaks my heart to think of them waiting!). I love being active and outdoors, so they’ll always get a proper, exciting walk, not just a quick trip round the block. I’m equally happy with cuddles and playtime at home too. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs across London: small dogs, puppies, big dogs, you name it and I treat every single one like my own. I work from home everyday and our flat has access to a private shared garden and we are only a short few minute walks away from gorgeous parks to run around and play. During the week, I work in 2-3 hour chunks with breaks at around 1130 and 2-3 pm, which is when I would walking the dogs. I typically spend the weekends outdoors or exploring London. We live in a building with many shared areas that are very dog friendly, we have an elevator which is great for dogs with bad hips or unable to walk up or down the stairs. Our apartment is spacious and there is a nice area for them to walk around and play, we also have a large community garden space on the roof and on the second floor with access to patches of grass and a place to run around.

About: We are two friends who co-own a border collie (4 yrs old). We’ve had him since he was a puppy and have raised and trained him so are used to playful, energetic dogs that need both physical and mental stimulation and require a lot of attention. Both of us have also grown up with dogs (cocker spaniel and a rescue mixed breed) so are used to different breeds and dog needs. We know how to administer basic medication and understand that each owner may have a specific routine for their dog. We are happy to take your dog and get him to walk /play with our super friendly border collie, or if you prefer look after him/her independently. We both work from home and have flexible schedules. Ideally we can help throughout the week or over the weekends. Happy to take your dog for a long hike or a short play in the park or look after him/her over the weekend. We have a converted camper and go on weekend getaways with our border collie. We have a fenced yard and a spare crate (if needed). We let Arty sleep on the sofa and roam freely in the house. No children or other pets.

Attentive, caring and thoughtful. Bianca did a fantastic job with the week she had with my Rabbit Leopold. Leo took to her very quickly, and she gave him the love and attention he needed whilst we were away. Usually he doesn't eat much when we are away, but it was good to see he still had some appetite! Bianca went the extra mile and also cleared out our bins and put them back after bin day. Bianca certainly made my life, and my rabbit Leo's life much easier. Highly recommend and will be booking Bianca again.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since childhood and spent years as the designated pet sitter in my friendship circles. Although my job means I can’t have a dog or a cat full time, I’m able to offer flexible support for owners who are in the office, travelling, heading out for a date night or simply need an extra pair of hands. I’m experienced with: • Small breeds that need warmth and reassurance • Dachshund spine protection and safe play • Floppy-eared breeds prone to ear irritation and infections • Dogs and cats with long or high-maintenance coats • Dogs and cats on a special diet or specific feeding schedule • Senior pets with slower routines or need of medication I’ve cared for Dachshunds, Labradors, Yorkies, a Cocker Spaniel, a Cockapoo, a French Bulldog, a Mini Pinscher, a Boxer and a number of cats. I adapt to each pet’s age, routine and temperament whether that means gentle walks, active play or calm company at home. Before London I had my own Dachshund for over ten years. So I understand how much personality, love and mischief can fit into a small dog. I’ve also supported ageing pets through mobility changes and even pet dementia, so I understand how routines may shift over time. Whether you need daytime company, walks or overnight care, your pet will be treated with warmth, patience and attention to their individual needs. I'm currently doing project based work from home. So I can fit around your needs and availability - week days and evenings, weekends, overnight care at your home or mine. I live in a court with fenced garden. My flat has a separete entrance and a flight of stairs leading to the first floor. But I'd be happy to carry your pup up and down until I get a ramp. I also floor runners, a rug and carpets so the floors won't be slippery fpr doggy paws. Finally, I have a stool that flips and turns into a ramp to help dogd get on the couch.

Tash is a gentle and very understanding person. She managed to look after my four cats — no small task, as each of them has different needs and very distinct personalities. She was even able to administer insulin to one of them, which I’m especially grateful for. I would love to continue our partnership so she can become my long‑term cat sitter.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with energetic Border Collies and from the age of 10 walked them before school and looked after them and loved them at home. As I got older, I was always helping neighbours out by walking and looking after other people's dogs - I even set up my own pet care business during the school holidays! My family is mad about dogs and when we all get together there are often more dogs than people. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes and ages and love getting to know their quirks. I now have my own young dog (born March 2025) who is very energetic and gets lots of walks, so if you're booking day care please be aware your dog will have company. If you've booked a walk and would prefer your dog is walked alone please let me know. My dog, Scampi, is such a happy, friendly girl. She loves other dogs and people and has never shown any aggression. She loves running around on walks but then flops out in the house, so your dog will get lots of downtime on the sofa too! I am in the office Monday-Thursday so can only offer care Friday-Sunday. I am out walking my own dog early, at lunchtime and early evening. I can offer road on-lead walks and adventure, off-lead walks too. I live in a small house in Walthamstow Village with a garden. I have my own dog, a lively Springer Spaniel/Harrier Hound cross called Scampi. She loves other dogs so will be very happy to share afternoons / walks with your dog. Please just let me know if you'd prefer your dog was walked alone.
