“Gráinne was a great cat sitter, she kept us up to date with lots of videos and pictures and seemed to get on really well with our cat Dolly. Would definitely use her services again and recommend to others. Thank you :) ”

“Jo was great! Everything from the initial enquiry to arranging an initial meet up to updates while we were away was fantastic. You can tell she has lots of experience and our cat loved the cuddles and attention. Thank you so much!”

“Our cats loved Giovanna, she sent us lovely videos and we were surprised how much shy Hermione adored her! She played with them, fed and brushed them and we've returned to very happy cats, which is the biggest sign of a great cat sitter, we were in trouble last time we came home after using someone else! We'll definitely use her again and again”

About: Current Service Availability: |Bristol - Drop in visits, Overnight stays| |London - Drop in visits, Overnight stays| |Bath - overnight stays only| (My work office is based in Bath, but I live between Bristol and London) I absolutely love chilling out with my friendly animal companions and feel blessed to have found some wonderful play time and cuddle buddies through pet sitting. I grew up around cats, birds and fish and always enjoyed the company of the animal companions around me. By now, I've looked after numerous pets, initially extending to family and family friends and over time extending out to the wider community (UK and Europe), where I have been able to enjoy helping many more people with their pet care needs while they are away. It’s something I had wanted to do for quite some time, so I've really enjoyed finally taking it on! Aside from pet care, life for me is about exploring and experiencing more of what this world has going for it. I enjoy my solitude, and when I'm not working, I spend my time learning and/or practicing a random variety of things. Languages tends to be my focus most recently, along with building up endurance for ever longer walks and bike outings. I'm also working on trying to read more books.
“Ally was fantastic — very reliable, caring, and incredibly precise with her updates throughout. It was really reassuring knowing Obama was in such good hands while we were away. Communication was excellent, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the cats she looks after. We would definitely book her again. Highly recommended!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Aliyah who looked after our cats over the Christmas period. I felt completely at ease the moment we met as it was clear she had experience with cats. Our two kitties we're very well looked after and loved her company. Will definitely be booking her for our future trips 💖”

“Liv is a lovely sitter who has shown genuine care for my little puppy since the very first time meeting. It’s so re-assuring knowing that my dog will be looked after with great care and enthusiasm when I can’t be with her, and I get loads of updates from the time they spend together which is really nice.”

“Second time booking with Adam in a few months. Excellent communication- always provides updates, photos and videos. Very reliable and trustworthy. The gang are in great hands with him and they all are big Adam fans!”

“Tass was amazing! Very communicative and sent us lots of updates and pictures 😍 Our super shy cat even let Tass stroke her, which is nothing short of a miracle! Thanks so much for looking after our fur babies so well Tass 🙏”

“Amber was a brilliant cat sitter for two drop in visits. My cat was clearly happy and comfortable with her and she went above and beyond keeping things tidy and following all instructions! Would happily trust her again”

“Paris was great with our kitten, she came to our home, made sure she was taken care off and sent lovely pictures, we are really happy with the experience and will definitely hire her again 🤍”

“Daisy has been absolute star with Koji and incredibly communicative and easy going when we had a bit of a travel disaster. She sent regular updates and kept me posted on Koji's shenanigans.”

What can i say about Rachael that doesn’t sound like a cliche? Absolutely nothing! Rachael has been brilliant. My little ones can be suspicious of new people but it only took two visits and they were happily sniffing and demanding attention. Her reports are A* and the pictures help ease an issues I may have with leaving my little ones. I cannot highly recommend her enough and will definitely be calling on her services again.

Silvia was fantastic and did an amazing job dropping in on our cat Audrey whilst we were on holiday. She made the experience so easy and put us at ease to go on our holiday knowing our cat was in good and caring hands, giving us regular updates each day. Highly recommend! Adam, Charlie and Audrey x

Hannah was fantastic with our bengal! We had real peace of mind that he was being well looked after while we were away. Hannah always sent lots of photo and video updates, and we came home to a very happy kitty ☺️ we would recommend Hannah in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a trustworthy, friendly, and lovely cat sitter! 😊

Alisa was absolutely wonderful with our cats. She was reliable, caring and kept us updated while we were away, which gave us real peace of mind. We’d happily ask Alisa to look after them again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful cat sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
