Diana A. has looked after Coco like she was one of her own family. Coco has been enjoying lots of walks, in the forest, seemed especially captivated when she saw a swan! Coco made friends with all Diana's family including Gecko, who has regularly gone on walks along side her. Diana sent regular, daily updates, photos and video clips to show me Coco was having fun. Diana ensured Coco was kept cool in this very hot weather too. While Coco was with Diana, Coco felt at home, enjoying her food and sleeping well...i could see from the updates Coco also enjoyed playing with Diana's daughter with her rope toy! Coco loves to play 'tug of war'! Coco has had a very happy holiday with Diana and the family. I would highly recommend Diana as she treated Coco with so much love and care...giving her plenty of attention. I'm sure Coco would love to holiday again with Diana..next time we go away!
I loved how Dorota looked after our boy Georgie, she send us updates every day and he was so happy being there. Thank you so much for taking such a great care of him and making his stay so happy. I was really happy to see all the photos in the park or in the pub, I could see how much fun he was having.
Where do we start 😊. Sandra and her partner are just fantastic. They go above and beyond. They have just had our two fur babies for 2 weeks (Woody and Dougie) It was home from home. Our doggies just loved it there. Regular cuddles walks love. Sandra even got them chicken to eat as they didn’t fancy their normal food as it was so hot. Woody and Dougie were so well cared for. I cannot recommend Sandra enough. You can see Sandra has a genuine love for animals. We are so lucky to have come across Sandra and to have her except looking after Woody and Dougie.
Katy is a fantastic dog sitter and was absolutely wonderful with Percy. I had absolutely no reservations about leaving him with her and she made me and Percy feel at ease from the moment I met her. She took the time to meet up with me in advance and meet Percy and find out more about him. She clearly loves dogs and has lots of experience looking after them. Katy is just very relaxed with dogs and knows how to look after them instinctively. She took Percy for walks and kept me updated throughout his overnight stay with her. I would highly recommend Katy!
Yan was amazing with Pinto and kept me updated with lots of pictures. Great communication in general, from initial meet up until pick up. Pinto was really understood, including his quirks. Francesca looked after my dog, Dora, so wonderfully! I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Her communication was truly outstanding from start to finish; she kept me constantly updated with reassuring messages and lovely photos, so I never had to worry for a second. I was especially impressed by her attentiveness during a spell of very hot weather. Francesca was incredibly thoughtful and made sure Dora was only walked early in the morning and late in the evening to keep her safe and cool. Anna and Mark really gave my 6-year-old collie mix, Fletch, a home away from home during his four-night stay. They made him feel comfy in their lovely home, took him on nice walks around the neighbourhood and local parks, and spent lots of quality time hanging out with him. I really enjoyed the regular photo updates of his adventures (and happy naps!) each day. I will definitely reach out to Anna again when Fletch needs boarding in the future.
Jorige and Nix looked after our small Cockapoo, Fika, for two weeks while we were away on holiday, and I can honestly say she had a wonderful time with them. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
